A symbolic interpretation is not equivalent to a literal translation. Try taking 218 or 639 literally, for example.
Adam, literally, refers to one "person".

Are you saying there are 2 different adams? One referring to humanity, the other to one person?
You are translating it in one verse, and not in another? This is guess work.
What about instances where it could mean BOTH a proper noun, or humanity. 359. What's your criteria for choosing one over the other?

Good thinking. If you read the verses after 230, the malaika say that they only know what God has taught them!

Well I dont know where you got "aliens" from.... but maybe other "bashar" were those who came before homo sapiens? and adam and eve were the first homo sapiens?
Quiet possible, imo. Or that we existed before the creation of adam. This could be how the malaika knew our behavior.
