I understand exactly what you mean, brother. I have relatives that actually belong to the Israelite tribe in Africa (near Ethiopia). I was raised as a Christian, but many members of my family practice Judaism (with the traditions), and others live directly according to the Torah. They're the actual black Hebrews, though, they're not related to the Ashkenazi (white) Jewish people. They speak, read, and write the Hebrew language and everything... And as far as I know, I'm the only submitter in my family as well, even though a few of my relatives agree with most of the Quranic teachings...

Most jews have it hard time believing in quran because it went through ishmael line instead of isaac so they feel it can't be "true"

I've heard this from some of my relatives. Others who believe in the doctrines of the Talmud say that God (Elohim) forbids them from believing in another sacred scripture besides the Torah. So, in other words, they say the Quran is a good book, but they don't believe it's divinely inspired... I have a question Is there anywhere in the Quran which says that Muhammad came through the lineage of Ishmael? Many hadiths state this, but I don't recall seeing this in the Quran. Many people say that Ishmael is the "father" of the entire Arab race, but historians conclude that there was an entire civilization of Arabs before Ishmael. There were also others in the Arabian peninsula who were actual descendants of Isaac, and even some descendants of Jacob (Israel). So, how do we really know that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael?

        I like the anti-hadithism here http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uXxGs3uwks

Also for the record, Al-Khidr's link about racism in Islam is mostly true, I guess, except his "proof" that the prophets were black.

Black as in charcoal black or just with African features, it hardly matters when you use a verse from the book where God says "we chose Adam, Abraham and Noah (and all the other prophets maybe) over everyone else. They are descendants of one another etc. etc."

I'm not sure why it seems he's content with ignoring the fact every single human being is a descendant of Adam. Using the logic of Muhammad being black (whatever that implies these days) because he was a descendant of Abraham who was a descendant of Noah who was a descendant of Adam, then we are all "black" in whatever sense this is used in.

Since the last discussion we had on the topic, I've come across some new and extremely obvious information

        http//i329.photobucket.com/albums/l363/kushitex/hamaa/Ch15v28hamaablack.jpg

Clear enough. So what's black mud?

Here we have a carbon sample

        http//upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c2/C%2C6.jpg

All life on earth is made from carbon, including humans. And all life on earth, including some humans, is not black-colored. If carbon is indeed the "black mud" described t is entirely possible for the first man to have been made from a black mud without necessarily being black-skinned. I believe the color of the first man's skin is probably dark (due to african origins of humanity) but I do not believe that white-colored people can not be descended from the first man because of their color, or that the use of "black mud" in the creation of the first man implies that any men of any other color must have been from a different creation. Any thoughts?

In addition I don't see the point in thinking the black mud still had to be black after the human-making process, although the substance itself could not be mud. If we are to take it literally (assuming of course the word in question means charcoal or African "black" and not some other thing it could possibly mean like "baked" in which case it can be light brown or even slightly red) then we have to believe Adam was a walking statue of mud. Well we know this isn't true because mud cannot have sex and reproduce. Therefore the only logical conclusion we can come to is that although God started off with black mud in the creation of Adam, he ended up making something quite different and there is no proof the original "black mud" was still mud or still black after the creation process.

For the record, there is overall more support for the Adam was dark-skinned theory than there is for he was light-skinned (thanks primarily to research regarding DNA and how it traces all the way back to Africa), and I admit the latter is something most people, for some reason God knows of hope for (like it matters).

I still hold my theory of civilizations becoming lighter or darker over time due to how far off a region is from the Sun's equator. Look at the skin color of those living in Sudan and compare it with Latinos/Egyptians (Latinos and Egyptians are the same distance away from the equator, then look at Canadians and Australians). I don't believe it's a coincidence the darkest people in the world happens to be in the areas where the sun's rays are most intense.

        According to this http//colonizespace.blogspot.com/2006/06/how-did-black-africans-create-white.html

Blacks can become white just as much as whites can become black. After reading it I came to believe more that Adam and Eve had dark pigmentation. How dark is a mystery.

          Peace,

I still hold my theory of civilizations becoming lighter or darker over time due to how far off a region is from the Sun's equator. Look at the skin color of those living in Sudan and compare it with Latinos/Egyptians (Latinos and Egyptians are the same distance away from the equator, then look at Canadians and Australians). I don't believe it's a coincidence the darkest people in the world happens to be in the areas where the sun's rays are most intense.

This statement is built from a false pretense. Latinos and Egyptians are not a race. They are mixed race ethnicities. There are very black Latinos, white latinos and dark Native American Latinos. Latinos come in alot of colors because of this mixing (African, European and Native American). Same thing goes for Egyptians. They are a mixture of native black egyptians, slaves and immigrants from Europe (during the Ottoman period and earlier Greek and Roman incursions), mixed race Arabs (who in early times were more black than anything) and Nubians. In different places they look different and they come in all colors. Canadians and Australians are not native to the lands that they occupy. They come from Europe. Unless you are talking about the very dark brown original Native Americans of Canada and the black aborigenes.

The fact is that man, according to science, originated in the areas of the earth where the sun's rays hit the strongest. And the people in southern Sudan are closest to that point. So orginal man would have been almost jet black or atleast some form of black. At the very least even if the original man was jet black his genes were much more diverse and able to change and vary than our genes are today (including all the blacks of Africa, Asia and Australia). We have been bred by natural selection into populations with less genetic potency/potential for variation. The only way to get close to that original genetic diversity is to mix all that genetic diversity back up. And considering that subsahran Africa alone (not to count all fo the blacks still in Saharan Africa) are the most genetically diverse within one continent in the world. . . Then we add all the blacks from Asia, Australia and the Pacific islands. And when we do factor in the varities of white Europeans and white Asiatics (mongoloids) the result will still be a very black individual.

          Godbless,
          Anwar

Wait...why is original man easier to have genes changed again?

And of course by race I mean the races we have today. I wasn't speaking of a very general race like the human race.

My point was MOST Egyptians and Latinos are tan in color. I've been there. It still seems the farther you are from the equator, the whiter your skin genes will get across some generations and vice versa. How else would white + black people emerge?

And what about hair...did Adam have a O0? How did people become white AND have straight, shiny hair?

For the record, I think Adam was black but had straight hair. I think it was the sun that....................you know what never mind.

I'd say yes, black mud --> black-colored man. Why doesnt it just say 'mud'? Isn't all mud black? 'Black mud' emphasizes the fact that the first human was dark-skinned.

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

                Peace,

I will emphasize this again, Latinos are not a race. Latinos exist because the French, Spanish and Portuguese conquered Southern, Central and Carrbean America (The eventually lost the islands of Jamaica, Barbabdos, Trinidad, Tobago, Curazao, Aruba and the British and American Virgin Islands. They also lost Surinam and Guyana to other non-Romance language speaking Europeans. The resulting Latinos of Latin American are a mixture of Native American, African and European. And it is not all equal,. Some areas of Latin American are definitely more black, some are more Native American and others are more European. The mixture varies depeding on famlies and locations. In the North of Brazil they have more African blood in the south more European blood. Some of the Native American tribes in the Amazon have very little mixture. Even in a little island like Puerto Rico different areas will concentrate more African or more European blood (despite the fact that they are just about ALL mixed). In Mexico there are areas where the people still do not speak spanish but different native American dialects. In the south of Mexico there are alot of black mexicans. (remember 99 percent of them are still mixed). So please do not speak about latin America and act like the people are there are a race that that have alwasy existed there, just a little bit of education about the history of latin America should change that. Also you may want to travel to more parts of latin American. take Argentina for instance, they have a huge influx of immigrants from Italy and Germany, which swallowed up the Afro-Argentinian population (there are still some Afro-Argentinians) and the Native Population (there are still many native American argentinians). Latin America has had MANY, MANY immigrants come into it. And it is this mixture that conistitutes it.

The mixture goes the same for Modern day Egypt. And as i said there are still MANY black egyptians, Take a look

My wife is Latino and many people take her for black. Her mom and a few of her sisters are definitely black. I can find more pictures if you need to see for your own eyes.

Latino and Arab or Egyptian are as much racial categories as 'American' is.

                  • Never said latinos were a race that always existed there, hence my saying "recent races" in the sense if someone were to ask a latino what race he was, he would say latino. He would know no other answer.

                  • I said I've been to Egypt, not Latin America. And the majority of Egyptians are tannish. Rarely would I see a black or European dude.

My main point was not that there are the so-called races I've mentioned but white skin (if adam being a black man is true) emerged than it MUST be as a result of something. Did you see my link? The guy also agrees and it makes sense. Australia/Canada/Europe etc. are some of the farthest regions from the Equator. Are the majority there blacks? No, and I doubt anyone could give a better explanation as to how white + black skin (or so they're called) emerged.

                  Oh and yay for racism

                  Volume 9, Book 87, Number 163

                  Narrated Salim's father

The Prophet said, "I saw (in a dream) a black woman with unkempt hair going out of Medina and settling in Mahai'a. I interpreted that as (a symbol of) epidemic of Medina being transferred to Mahai'a, namely, Al-Juhfa."

Yay for racism? I'm not even sure what that is supposed to mean. Check out www.savethetruearabs.com

And again although the original man was most likely black, I think his potential for genetic variation was much more than ours is today. Take for instance the original horse or dog. Whatever they were they had a lot more genetic potential than the breeds that exist today. Breeding, through natural selection or intentional breeding narrows the gene pool, by breeding out diverse genetic variables and concentrating "desirables."

While that is a good theory (or fact, I'ven't been given credible links confirming this yet) I also think people change partially due to environment, especially regarding complexion of the skin. I have not read any better argument as to why people have gone white (assuming Adam was black).

Also yay for racism is just another way of saying racism sucks and what promotes it (man-made Islam or what is known as Hislam) is going downhill.

My theory is just plain old good sense. Think about it. To understand the breeds of humans one must first at least try to understand how we get different breeds of other animals. And what that means.

In other words, the race of jinns do NOT descend from Adam, and they are the sons of another being, someone other than Adam. Once you realize who and what Iblis was, then you'll understand the point that Al-Khidr was trying to convey... As a starting point, you should read his article on jinns, what they are and where they come from. If you look at things from that perspective, then his argument makes plenty of sense...

edit actually, I read his article on jins (had to download it) and he makes a good point by saying jinns are actually physical since men are among them and that they reproduce.

However, where then was this "jinn" dude? Antarctica? rotfl

And he made it seem (without deliberately saying) that the favored "ins" lineage (adam) are the blacks and the other race, the despised race are the white (the jinns).

This is so obvious since he constantly promotes his theory that adam and all his descendants are quote on quote "black", of course using in his hand an Arabic dictionary which very well may have been fabricated by the same despised sunni's we all hate, and if one is to use the argument that some words based on this root word means something related to "black" well, it is pretty possible those words were made based on the possibly fabricated meaning of "hamma."

The whole started being made out of black mud meaning black skin/today's perception of the african man theory still has flaws and it doesn't even take much time to run into/notice them.

As for scientific evidence, if the first man being black was such an established piece of proof then why isn't everyone going around saying "adam was indeed black", because I'm sure despite the racism that is existent in our world, I'm sure many (the majority who aren't arrogant and moronic) will state this.

Bear in mind this isn't the same as finding proof of man originating in Africa. Nowhere is it claimed (at least I hope not) that originating from Africa means you were created with black skin, and I'm not talking about an African woman giving birth today. I'm talking about the creation of Adam. Why don't we take black mud literally and say if we were living at this time, we could punch a hole in Adam and he won't feel it, get dirty by simply touching him and was malleable? But no, salsallin now is used as a metaphor for skin, right? )

But let's say this untold theory of his is true. It would be pretty funny since I guess a half black/white person (like my girlfriend last year) is an insjin rotfl

Whatever god may mean by this, it is clearly not only people who are black or half/quarter/fifth black = descendant of Adam and people who are not in these categories, are jinns, who, may or may not make it to heaven, since God says only select jinns are given water and life, at least according to ayman who I'm about to quote. I hope he's correct.

Once he starts adopting a non-racist position (because while he seems to oppose racism, at the same time he looks like he's more promoting rather than fighting it) maybe his articles can start looking neutral.

edit (again) and what says that jinn having descendants implies sexual reproduction (one of the points of khidr's article on jinns)? So, bacteria can't have descendants? laugh

and if jinn were created from fire/smokeless fire/some kind of wierd fire, can someone explain, with this Quranic fact how this makes a human being?

                              btw like ayman's answer

                              Peace Almarh0m,

If you add the above observations to 2130, which indicates that every living thing is made of water then we can conclude that "jinn" are certainly not living things. So this further confirms that they are fantasies. The fantasies are the fuel of hell because hell is the worse thing that humans can imagine. On the other hand, there are no "jinn" in heaven. They are not needed. For those who go to heaven by their lord's mercy, everything that they will becomes reality and therefore there is no need to fantacize.

The reward for the good "jinn"/fantasies is not heaven. Their reward is that they are given water (7216), in other words, the good fantasies are given life.

This is why we need to control our fantasies and direct them towards good. In other words, we always need to imagine positive good things and avoid imagining sinful things. This will carry over to the next life when our imagination will come with us and become apparent to everyone.

                              Peace,

                              Ayman

the creatures being made of water part.

                                Peace Meteora,

I think you're misunderstanding his perspective... The Qur'aan never says that "al jinni" beings are evil or despised by Allah. Rather, the opposite is stated - the jinn beings have as much a chance at being granted the mercy of Allah as "al insaan"/humanity. So, even if you base the judgement as saying that blacks are the descendants of Adam and whites are the descendants of Iblis, what would that mean?

Like I said, there are only two races mentioned specifically in the Qur'aan as dwelling on the earth, and these are "al insaan"/the humans and "al jinn". We have to come to a reasonable conclusion of what the humans are, and then we can have a solid conclusion of what the jinns are...

Yeah you know...I read that whole jinn article by Al-Khidr. He makes some good points but

"They can see you but you can't see them" in the Quran now means the evil deceptive people know you are believers but you don't know if they're believers or disbelievers?? (because that is what Al Khidr said was the meaning of this part of the verse in the Quran?) BS! No one can tell who believes and doesn't. Moving on..

                                    This is what he said

First I must indicate the expression you cannot see them, does not necessarily denote
invisibility. That expression alone can be open for a lot of things and not just invisibility.
Secondly we cannot ignore the overwhelming evidence inside the Qur?aan that tells us
the devils/jinns are human beings, men, people, a race right on earth that has a
Dhurriyyatahu ( &#61472, descendants, offspring, progeny and even in that verse (727),
it states that they have a Qabiluhu (&#61472, tribe, family, clan. We also cannot ignore
the fact that in (727) it uses the plural form for devil and again that is because they are a
tribe, family, clan as the Qur?aan describes. Now let?s take a look at the verse below
                                    32
                                    Qur?aan 727
O children of Adam, do not let the devil entice you as he did when he evicted your
parents from Paradise. He removed their garments to expose their bodies. He and his
tribe see you, while you do not see them. We appoint the devils as companions for those
                                    who do not believe.
If we interpret this verse to literally mean that we can?t see them (despite the physical
description of them having a tribe, family, clan) would contradict the following verses
which says that satan is our clear enemy
                                    Qur?aan 2168

O people, eat from the planet earth all that is lawful and pure, and do not follow the
footsteps of Satan. Surely he is a clear enemy to you.
                                    Qur?aan 2208

O you who believe, enter into Islaam completely, and don?t follow in the footsteps of the
devil. Surely he is your clear enemy.
The Arabic word for ?clear? is mubin ( &#61472 which means clear, patent (which means
open to public inspection), obvious, evident.
How can the devil/satan be interpret to be invisible in (727) but yet Allah tells us in
(2168, 20 that he (satan or devil) is a clear enemy to us? The reason why (7172) says
?He and his tribe see you, while you do not see them? is because of the deceptive nature
of the devil, he cloaked, disguised his true nature, he is very deceitful and manipulative
and is taking mankind off the straight path without us realizing it, its not because he?s
                                    invisible.

So now not being able to see them does not denote invisibility but Satan (the human reproducing creature in Al Khidr's world) being our "clear" enemy has to mean we can see him? Ok....

I can go on as to why his theories are racist and dumb. First it's the human race among the "inss" are the blacks and the other side of the human race, the jinn are something else (wonder why he didn't touch the subject about them being made out of smokeless fire. Maybe it's because he can't describe how this makes white/Asian/any non-black tribe? Who knows.)

His theory of jinns is flawed beyond belief considering the fact that if Adam, Eve (who is given a name now), and Satan were sent down to Earth (whether or not the jinns were already there according to them being made "before" the creation of Adam, or the inss, whatever) then why are they being sent down to Earth AFTER Adam's creation out of black mud? In other words

                                    1. Adam was made out of black mud.

                                    2. Satan refused making obeidance to Adam for this reason. Hence the dialogue around 712. This was before they were brought down to Earth (because Adam, his wife and Satan were sent down AFTER Satan's refusal, and after Satan seducing them, and Satan seduced them after his refusal to fall prostrate). Therefore what's all this crap about Adam being made out of materials from the earth when he was already black mud fashioned into shape according to the dialogue around 712 (assuming the black mud is from Earth)? Though maybe I should point out 712 says Adam was made out of "teen" (dirt/mud/whatever) while he was in heaven? This could actually be proof that teen here (or black mud elsewhere) is actually metaphorical, unless we are to believe there is teen in paradise (because he was made out of teen while he was in paradise).

                                    3. If we do not see the jinn and they can see us, this should not be regarded as a "contradiction" since some person thinks that because they are our "clear" enemy they therefore have to be visible. If they are indeed a physical race then what do you call an offspring who is a descendant from a jinn and inss? Someone get back to me when they come up with a logical answer. I already know it's not possible.

                                    4. Saying that because God said there are men among the jinn does not have to mean the jinn are a separate human race. Yes, angels may come to people in human forms (like with the case of Lot and Marium) but does it necessarily say physical? Does bashar really have to mean "physical" human? I thought the verb "bash-ir" means give good news to believers anyway.

                                    5. If the angels can indeed come as physical human beings (and since angels have free will according to khidr)...actually I didn't start this off good let me redo.

                                    6. I think angels can become physical as much as the jinns can. Besides I think it's obvious the descendants of jinns/shayateen are poeple who are evil and have seals on their hearts, etc., therefore the jinns/shayateen are not a seperate race among humans but basically EVIL people among the men, so saying there are men among the inss (I don't see why not) can mean there are men among those who are evil. It is not saying somewhere in another part of the world there were humans reproducing (white, asian, non-black) while the creation of black adam was taking place. It is saying there are men among those who are not reminded (at least according to my understanding, just read 8923 how it associates the "inss" with rememberance, besides insa in Arabic means forget) and among the jinn, whatever meaning that may have besides the fact they were made of smokeless fire and that we CANNOT see them according to the Quran (and why can't they be our clear enemy despite this, God is our clear lord, do we see him? Obviously no).

I think I had other things to say on this issue (more about the jinns than Adam being black) but I forgot them and remembered only like 1.

I accept the notion that Adam was charcoal black, at least to a degree. It is said that the black gene is the dominant gene...what is meant by that exactly? That the offspring will look more like the African person? I always thought offsprings looked somewhere in between. Nonetheless, if this is true this adds more supportive weight I guess.

However I was just thinking to myself. Since some love to use the argument that Adam was made from salsaalin min hama` musnoom ("mud/clay from black modeled" is what it would literally mean, at least if our current dictionaries are correct) had black skin and his eyes/teeth/insides etc. were not black then can someone try making a black human being (or any kind of human being) out of black mud? Whoever is successful, props, but the obvious fact is this black mud was altered beyond recognition if we are to assume this black mud or teen (dirt) even CAME from the Earth (does it say Adam was created from elements min al ard "from the Earth"?) because as far as I know according to Quran, he was made out of this stuff before Iblis tricked him and caused him to descend down here, so then where was this stuff from?? Obviously from paradise itself therefore this mud could not have been from the Earth. Secondly if this BLACK MUD was altered, it wasn't just the mud part that was altered. The entire BLACK MUD was altered so it isn't crazy to think it didn't end up being black as much as it didn't end up being dirt.

In the end saying this proves the entire physical black race on Earth are the exclusive descendants of Adam becomes almost entirely unquranic in this sense.

Overall though I agree with the notion the first human was black more than I disagree with it.

The whole new jinn theory is also retarded. Anyone upholding this theory (which I guess total to be few) should probably try explaining what a human from the inss and what a human from the jinn would reproduce via intercourse if the jinn are indeed physical manifestations we can see (in spite of the fact the Quran literally saying we CANNOT see them) but of course this has to have a new fabricated meaning implying we just can't tell what they are (jinns) and that elsewhere in the Quran the saying that they are our "clear" enemy must mean we can see them. ) So what deals more with vision, not being able to see or something not being clear? The answer is obvious because the former is more specific to eye sight than the other latter.

Actually nevermind, 2208 is saying "the" devil is our clear enemy so does that mean can we see the devil? If so where is the devil? And khidr also states "the devil" in this case is referring to jinns/devils and not just one entity. )

I will end by saying that I like the following quote

                                      QUESTION 5
In Qur?aan 1529 it says that Allah blew His Ruwh in Adam and made him a living spirit,
in other words it gave him life when he was in the Spiritual Realm. Now what about the
jinns, do they also have Allah?s Ruwh inside them?
                                      ANSWER
Allah has created all things in existence including the jinns. However, the jinns do not
have Allah?s Ruwh dwelling in them. But while on earth both jinns who are a human
race and us human beings both have nafs, water, and all the elements necessary to live in
the Physical Realm (planet earth). It is very evident from the scriptures that the jinns are
evil, they have an evil nature, spirit dwelling in them and they are here to take man off
the straight path. However, the Qur?aan does not go in explicit details regarding the
creation of the jinns (before Adam?s creation).

If this is right then in this case what separates the INSS and the JINN is not biological or race-related but the RUWH (spirit) that God puts inside the physical being.

This would make a lot more sense since in this case a non-black person like me now has a chance to enter paradise.

One last thing though, if it has been discovered human DNA goes all the way back to Africa, THEN WHAT HAVE WE BEEN USING DNA FROM?! All humans, correct?

Therefore if the argument that jinns are a separate physical human race based upon biological factors is true than this is none other than saying people have proven that both inss and jinn have descended from Adam in Africa, which sounds dumb. That is why I like the above quote, and I think this was khidr's main point.

Meteora, in Africa you will find variations in hair texture as well as skin tone and facial features...and this has nothing to do with mixing...thus you will find women in Sudan, Nubia and Somalia with wavy/straightish hair but with very dark skinned.....thats just the way certain ethnic groups look
