Black mud = black-colored man?

Peace,
I have a few points

It's ridiculous to say that because Adam(in my case I believe this word to mean all mankind) was created out of black mud that he is/was only black. Because our bones, flesh, eyes etc would also be black, not just our skins. Remember, every part of Adam is made out of this mud.

The Arabs from all available authoritative and ancient texts were black, and the prophet Muhammad was also a black person. At the very least I can say that if the pure Arabs were black(and that is stated over and over again) and the prophet Muhammad came from a pure Arab tribe than he was also black. The hadeeth say that he was asmar, which describes the color of deep brown (black) people of Africa. He is said to have tones of redness, which is said to be the color of the Persians. The scholars explain this as saying that he was a very light brown, a color found among persians, where his skin was not exposed to the sun and was dark brown here it was. At the lightest asmar is the color of wheat. Now I've found that everyone has their own interpretation of the color of wheat. The best thing do it is to look at wheat(perhaps Arabian wheat) and make your judgement from that. I've included a picture of different varieties of wheat kernels. Durum and spelt are also varieties of wheat very well known in the Middle East and they are very ancient varieites. This color was also considered whiteness (bayyaad) amongst the ancient Arabs. sumrah bihumrah can also be akin to a color that is like one of those lighter varieties of wheat, like a brown-bronze color. What was called as-samraa'u. The most accurate way to assess this color would be using the oldest varieties of wheat, found the middle east and northeast Africa. But again, the prophet's specific color is only mentioned in hadeeths. Also compare the color of those wheat kernels with the color of those Nubians in Omari's picture.

This thread has go far off from its initial starting point LOL
RSW has pointed some interesting proposition on what is the meanings of "Black Mud" / "Salsalin".
Fact wise; Carbon is the second most abundant element after Oxygen within Homo Sapiens body.
There you go
"Black Mud" = CARBON
"Nafs" = Oxygen..I don't care whatever the "Bassara" (and no "Adam" are being mentioned in that verse) which being 'created' with basic material of Black Mud and Nafs and altered / modeled further are actually black-skinned, white-skinned, yellowish-skinned or purple-skinned..LOL
And it's irrelevant, as 'skin colour' requires only slight modification to the 'model' of the species (less than 0.0001% of DNA strain) which controls the melanin production. In 'modern' understanding, the verse could be understood as
- God designed homo sapiens to be a being/creation with basic materials of carbon and oxygen, and it's being modeled through a series of acids called DNA. The species are designed with capabilities to evolves over time through modifications of its DNA.
Revelation from GOD doesn't ends with Quran, revelation is a continuing progress up until now and beyond..
Salam / Peace
