The reason why Islam is not a religion.
Also a better definition A religion consists of a belief in a god or gods, and the activities that are connected with that belief such as prayer or worship or rites in the temple, church, synagogue, or mosque. -
That's right.
Islam is islam.
Religion is religion.
God is God.
Which one do you want?
R.
Islam is a Deen.
Allah ( Not God ) Is the transfinite overarching dichotomised conscious purity that manifests all creation instant by instant from the inside out
god is a man invented concept -
Well, your favorite SOL site is promoting nothing more than a religion. Weather you like that or not. You can make up any definitions you like, change any meaning of English or Arabic words to fit a religion of your own making but it won't change what it is.
And ablution and fasting and prayer are required rituals, even if you dont like the word because it doesnt fit the religion you want to create for yourself.
"god is a man made concept" Brilliant! rotfl
Unfortunately for you, God, the one you don't believe in and have reduced to little more than energy, teaches otherwise. You can't have a fully Cognizant, fully Sentinent, Most Wise Creator, who has declared a defined purpose for all of His creation and this existence, yet claim there is no God. It's totally contradictory and contrary to the teachings of the Quran.
A Supremely Intelligent Design in the universe, from it's smallest facet to it's largest and as a whole, denotes a Supremely Intelligent Designer. Hence, God. He is who He says He is, in the Quran, not what you personally wish Him to be according to your religion.

Keep proving how dumb you are
What SOL promotes is the polar opposite of a religion. Anyone who disagrees with that is a retard.
Allah doesn't have to be a god when Allah is higher than the inventions of man.
Believe translations that are so obviously wrong, then dare laugh at others. That really helps

Such a well thought out retort! Full of wisdom and insight!
Speaking of "thinking", you are aware that there cannot be a Thought or Idea without an owner? There is no such thing as a randomly generated thought or idea just floating out in space somewhere. It has to have an Owner, a Sentient and Cognizant generator of those thoughts. You cannot have Creation, nor Designed Creation without God being a Real Being, beyond our comprehension or vision, yet still Real and Existent and Cognizant and The Most Wise.
So likewise, who spoke to Adam? To Moses, Abraham and Jesus? If there is no god, no real Being, who then was talking to them?
Who dictated the Quran to Mohammed? Who is the Supremely Intelligent source besides God?
-
Idolatery is getting stuck in your own words.
Either words your tools, either the cage of your soul.
Use your mind to set yourself free from all the vocabulary.
Peace,

So how does Allah being something else than God means there is no real Being?

Peace,
R.Who are you telling that to?
-
Who are you telling that to?
To the one who seeks the truth, and doesn't know what truth is.
-
To the one who seeks the truth, and doesn't know what truth is.
And who is that?
-
And who is that?
The one who keeps asking
-
The one who keeps asking
But that doesn't make sense because I already know the truth so that is a contradiction on your side
So you called me an idolater, that's so wrong in many levels. You're the one who believes in an idol here.
I believe in Allah, the transfinite overarching dichotomised conscious purity that manifests all creation instant by instant from the inside-out. I disassociate him with man made concepts, so there's not a single bit of idolatry here.
-
The fact that you are stuck only in one way of calling God, confirms my observation.
Whether you call God, Allah, YHWH, it's all ok, as long as you know that you are talking about the Infinite Beyond Perceptually Intelligence.
Surrender is the test of truthfulness.
Can you let go all your arguments and see what happens?
All of them, one by one.
And notice, what happens with you when you do that.
Concept is a thought form. Belief in a concept makes it an idol.
That's why ideologies all fail, one by one.
Most idolaters won't let go a single concept they believe in, yet declare the belief in God.
If you do really believe in God, then why don't you surrender your cup for the ocean?
Concepts are toys to play with.
And the reality of the delluded.
And most are idolaters, and most are heavily delluded.
Peace be upon you, I am finished with this thread.

You are an idolater, and you are heavily deluded.
Belief in a concept? Are you kidding me? God is a concept too, and I don't believe in god, I believe in Allah, who is not a god. You're the one who's an idolater for making Allah an idol when Allah is not an idol. What I call Allah is simply what I believe him to be because it makes sense, how does that make me an idolater? You retarded or something?
Why would I surrender about anything? These are my firm beliefs established through reason I'm not gonna believe the same as you just because you say so

We do not need to believe anymore, we need to know. The belief was needed many years ago.... Now all prophets are done, it is like THE MISSION IS COMPLETE!!

I think that God wants us to KNOW Him, and not only to believe in him, so I agree with you nurmuhammed!
In the whole Torah the belief in God is mentioned only twice!, all the rest is always an invitation to KNOW HIM!!!, and talking about knowing God, and He says "Know that I am your God"!!! (He didn't say believe that I am your God)
"I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians."
(Exodus 67)-not to mention Psalms... (or the Commandments, which did NOT change, and never got abrogated by the Quran!)
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
and, I would add... to LOVE God, love Him, love...
to know and to love are synonyms which is almost the same, as is described in Genesis when Adom knew his wife (made love), or like David and Jonathan etc etc
