is the word sujood or not Mazhar? what does sujood mean? what does fall on the face mean?
I know what words YOU have used and whether you have used show obeisance or not where Allah says SUJOOD and then used show obeisance to relate to the NON SUJOOD word used for Muhammed is irrelevant. You are ignoring that ALLAH told Iblis to SUJUD prostrate to Iblis, he did not tell US to do that, neither did He tell US to prostrate to Muhammed. You would be quite happy if Allah told Iblis to prostrate to Muhammed and so would I, I would have no problem with that if thats what Allah had said, but He told the Angels to prostrate to Adam and He told US (children of Adam) to show respect to Muhammed while in his company. there is a HUGE difference in what your translations are saying and you are misleading people BIG TIME and you are twisting the words of ALLAH to match your own desires in your worship of Muhammed.

Allah told the Angels to SUJUD which is fall on the face, prostrate, you have lowered that command and raised the comman of showing respect to Muhammed so these match each other, and they do NOT in Allahs Book.

It is nothing but keep rotating on heels. None of the argument in my post has been addressed, and the same old story has been repeated.

I don't know who has put in your mind that the meaning and perception of words made from Root is to fall down on ground and lay head with forehead touching the ground before somebody and something. The basic perception is demonstration of humbleness, to make somebody feel less proud or convinced of his or her own importance, it is used for a tree laden with fruits resulting in branches slightly bending downwards, a sign of humbleness. The demonstration of absolute and ultimate humbleness to someone would be to lay head on his feet or before him and/or that thing.

Alif is part of the alphabet, hamza is a diacritical mark like madda
      You dont and I did.
not talking syllable, talking alphabet. The English alphabet consists of 26 letters of which 21 are consonants and 5 are vowels

"Aleph" does not have speech sound. Hamza has a speech sound, therefore is a consonant. In linguistics a consonant is a letter of the alphabet with a speech sound produced by partly or totally blocking the path of air through the mouth.

And do you think Arabic does not have vowels?

It is you repeating the same old story and turning on your heels, not me.

Do you not do this when you pray to Allah?

tree thing would be ruku, position of bowing slightly bent downwards. sujud is face on floor, prostrate as in the absolute ultimate humbleness that angels were required to do before Adam.

Mazhar's quote, not mine, but you are right I should use it as I never get any arguements addressed by either of you.

              I said this

I have not used the words "prostrate to Adam", instead translated "to pay him obeisance" which is obviously far away in meanings and connotation from prostration and worship. You only say, lip service, "worship" is alone for Allah and think at the same time that Allah asked Angels and Iblees to prostrate Adam i.e. worship him. I believe absolute allegiance and its demonstration through prostration is ONLY for Allah and not for Adam and Muhammad . While on one hand you do not mind Angels prostrating Adam, you do mind and feel agitated when one says to you and others to pay obeisance-salutations with absolute respect to Muhammad . What a duplicity of thought and belief!!

You as usual rotating on heels said this in response

Is the word sujood or not Mazhar? what does sujood mean? what does fall on the face mean?

I give you the Arabic word Al Qur'aanu to show you hamza telling that with hamza starts a new syllable, you call it diacritic mark like madda without appreciating what is the difference between a consonant and a diacritic mark. Syllables do not start with diacritic marks.

Your problem is only the irritating feel about the greatness of the person of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad .

I think i have said all I have to say to you, take it or leave it. if it makes you feel better, or 'right' for you to think that I am irritated about what and who Muhammed was, even after everything I have said, then feel free to think that. I submit myself to Allah and he alone knows what's in my heart and His Judgement only will I accept.

And I TODAY wish Muhammad may seek forgiveness for me from Allah, since on the Day of Judgment everyone will be rushing towards him in the desire to have Paradise.

And the Christians say that none can get to the Father except through Jesus, and the Muslims are now praying to Muhammed to seek forgiveness.

Then the Messenger will say "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense."

oh no Ayisha you should just end there and leave him alone. Finally everyone can have a vacation.

Plus. my question to brother Mazhar regarding "Salla" how-to's seems to be long forgotten. Have it your way, then, brother sir.

                        They say this, according to my information taken from Qur'aan;

                        http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/2.111p.gif
And they said, "No one will enter into Paradise except the one who is either a Jew or a Christian"

They are determined that none except them will go into Paradise. And look how many, even on this forum, are so worried about them and keep taking them into Paradise without listening them that they won't let or want anybody of this forum enter into Paradise.

well according to everyone else it means 'my people' and according to everyone else and logic it would mean those who claim to follow the message, but im sure you have some other meaning to it that excludes you from being one of these who has deserted the message as you also exclude yourself from the possibility of being a disbeliever, kafr or munafiq while throwing out accusations and judgements on everyone else. Read in Qur'aan what "Qaumi" means when different Messengers address "My people". That only means "O people of my nation". With pronoun "My" the word gets restricted to specific people, not people at large.

                                      Peace Mazhar,

The issue of using these words after the name of the Messenger of Allah would become so heavy on some people nerves, I had not thought of it. What a quote "one speaks in syllables, one does not read and write in syllables". How can you read the Arabic text when you do not know the syallables? In between every two conjoined consonants there is a vowel of three different sounds, exclusive to each other, how would you know the syllable with the conjunction of those two consonants, since writing style is cursive, and accordingly pronounce that? There are 28 consonants and one letter totalling 29 letters in Arabic Alphabet.

It is not heavy on a parrot to repeat anything. It is heavy on a parrot to translate for himself.

First, you changed the formula from "wa sallam" to "wa sallim" and now you added "kathyran kathyran". You sound empty like the echo. What is next "kathyran kathyran kathyran"?

                                      Peace,

                                      Ayman

                                        Peace Mazhar,

It is not heavy on a parrot to repeat anything. It is heavy on a parrot to translate for himself.

First, you changed the formula from "wa sallam" to "wa sallim" and now you added "kathyran kathyran". You sound empty like the echo. What is next "kathyran kathyran kathyran"? )

                                        Peace,

                                        Ayman

Munafiq feels the pain. You keep exposing yourself as a fool of class so far as knowing and understanding of Arabic language is concerned. "wa sallam" is past verb, third person, causitive. He caused tranquility and peace. While in transposition of in English letters and marks by me, which is visibly not on the pattern of "transliteration" , and talking dictionary pronounces it exactly like . On the contrary, put talking English dictionary on any transliteration it will not produce the actual sound of Arabic words. I also spelled Arabic Proper nouns in English alphabet in such manner to get the same sound as is produced when we read that word in Qur'aan, by repetitive efforts using talking disctionary.

peace I do think you should contact all translators of Quran past and present and inform them you have learnt Arabic yourself and have re-translated Quran into English and they are all wrong. Also contact all mosques to inform all sunni muslims they are using the incorrect wording of sallalahualayhiwaslam and it should be sallalahualayhiwasllim. DO something instead of sitting here preaching, get out there and correct everyone NOW before it's too late, DO NOT be of those that hide the message. peace
