Quran only mistakes

Wrong, the Prophet was commanded repeatedly to follow only that which was revealed unto him, that includes the Quraan and Sunnah, because both are revelations from Allaah.
Salaam,
Allaah swt inspires not only the humans, but His whole creation on a continuous basis. Inspiration and revelation is GOD?s way of guiding and directing His creatures as He Wills. Few examples of these phenomena in The Qur?aan are His inspiration to mother of Moses, apostles of Jesus, and even the honey bee, and many more. These kinds of inspirations are very common every day phenomena and usually the subject is unaware of the revelation which is guiding and directing him/her/it. In other words GOD Almighty is in control of everything continuously, nonstop. In this regard, and as ordinary human beings, messengers of GOD are of no exceptions either; they are under GOD?s absolute control throughout their lives too.
Our discussion here is about the role of a messenger which is to deliver the message. That is what we learn all over The Qur?aan that the messenger's sole duty is to deliver the message to his people clearly. The rest is up to GOD Himself. So, whatever that is not in The Qur?aan is irrelevant. That is why GOD commands us to believe in Him and what is revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Asbaat, and what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and all the prophets from their Lord, and do not differentiate among any of them. So, from the first to the last, it is all about the message, not the messengers. The messengers come and the messengers die and go away. Peace be upon all of them. It is the message that must govern our affairs of our short-lived lives. In other words, the flight is of the essence, the bird is mortal.
The point is that Muslims have no quarrels with the sectarians other than saying that the religion MUST be about the worship of GOD Alone. All we are saying to them is to stop idolizing the prophets and worship GOD only. We are saying that the Shahaadah must be all about GOD Alone. We are saying to them not to mention any other name in their SALAAT/prayers except GOD. We are saying to them not to call upon anyone else in their call to prayer/ADZAN, but GOD. We are saying not to implore anyone in your DU?AA?, but GOD. We are saying to them The Qur?aan is the ONLY source of religious guidance; do not use any other source like hadith, sunnah, rawaaya, and? alongside with The Qur?aan. We are telling them that there is only one SACRED mosque and that is the one in the city of Mecca with the KA?BAH right in the middle of its courtyard. We are saying to them that the months of performing HAJJ pilgrimage are the four consecutive sacred/HARAAM months. We are asking them to restore those FOUR months back; to minimize the hardship on the people trying to perform their GOD prescribed HAJJ pilgrimage. And finally, we are telling them not to make unlawful what GOD has not made unlawful and vice versa. We are not declaring anything new. We are just propagating the practice of the faith according to The Qur?aan Alone. We are telling them to reform and repent and come back to The Qur?aan. That?s all. No reinvention at all.
Peace,

Say (O Prophet م "If you love Allaah then follow me, Allaah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allaah is Forgiving, Merciful." (331)
Who does The Prophet follow? Yes, ALLAH! Only Allah leads The Prophet, & only we shall be lead by and follow Allah. group

The Holy Quraan is the sole revelation from Allaah to his messenger. You know it, I know it and every Muslim knows it in his heart. Someday, inshallah you might accept it to yourself.
Salaam Harris. You were blunt in your message but I pretty much feel that way too. I do feel that I knew it in my heart all along, yet got swept up in popular opinion, popular excuses and arguments as to why we should add in ''other'' things like hadith, add them to Quran, to Allah's message. Yeah, I do feel that I had that knowledge all along but was too afraid to admit it. I pray that my friends will be led to question in the same way I have so that they can have the chance to accept a better way.

Salaam,
Allaah swt inspires not only the humans, but His whole creation on a continuous basis.
It is true Allaah sent down inspiration upon the mother of Moses, the Virgin Mary, the disciples of Jesus, and even the honey bee, just like He sent down inspiration to Our Prophet Muhammad .
The only difference is that Allaah did not command us through the Quraan to follow what is revealed to honey bees or what was revealed to the disciples of Jesus. Allaah says in numerous verses of the Holy Quraan that the believers are those who follow what is revealed to His Messenger Muhammad
I am of course glad that at least in principle you accepted this fact that Allaah sent down inspirations and revelations to His Messenger other than the Quraan, just like He sent down revelations to prophets who came before other than their respective scriptures. I already gave the example of how Allaah sent down revelations, dreams, and visions to His chosen prophets and messengers which are not scriptures. Scripture is one form of revelation, but there are many forms of revelations that Allaah sends to His prophets and messengers. So the point is that the Quraan itself commands us to follow what has been revealed to the Messenger , logically, that must include everything that is revealed to him, not just the scripture.
Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger, so write us among the witnesses.
And when it is said to them "Come to that which Allaah has sent down and to the Messenger," they say "Sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers." What! Even though their fathers had no knowledge whatsoever, and were not guided.
And Allaah also says that one cannot be a true believer until he or she accepts the Messenger as their judge in all disputes they have between themselves, and then accept it in their souls without any resistance and with full acceptance
These and many verses of the Quraan make it clear that true believers must follow what has been revealed to the Messenger and accept him as their judge in all disputes between themselves.
Our discussion here is about the role of a messenger which is to deliver the message. That is what we learn all over The Qur?aan that the messenger's sole duty is to deliver the message to his people clearly. The rest is up to GOD Himself. So, whatever that is not in The Qur?aan is irrelevant.
you already accepted this principle that Allaah reveals to His chosen prophets and messengers revelations other than the scriptures that He sent down to them. The same is true with the last and final prophet . And Allaah commands true believers to follow everything which has been revealed to him, that includes the Quraan, but is not restricted to the Quraan as I have already proven and you have already accepted this fact.
You are right that the Messengers of Allaah come and go, they are born and they die, and are buried in graves. We don't believe they have any special powers, they are mortals like us. The message that they come with is based on the revelation that is revealed to them. So while the Messenger of Allaah is dead and passed away from this earthly life and is no longer with us, but his message, his Sunnah, is alive and living. We are commanded to follow his way as Allaah says in the Quraan . So he personally is gone, but his way, his sunnah, lives on, by us following it.
We are saying that the Shahaadah must be all about GOD Alone.
You say that only God alone can be mentioned in the Shahaadah, but it is proven from the Quraan that bearing witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah is part of the Shahaadah that we are enjoined to give
When the hypocrites come to you, they say "We bear witness that verily, you (Muhammad م are the Messenger of Allaah." And Allaah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allaah bears witness that verily, the hypocrites are liars.
Although the hypocrites bore witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah, Allaah knew that in their hearts they are deceiving and they are not sincere.
We are saying to them not to mention any other name in their SALAAT/prayers except GOD. We are saying to them not to call upon anyone else in their call to prayer/ADZAN, but GOD. We are saying not to implore anyone in your DU?AA?, but GOD.
According to your principle, then it is forbidden to mention the name of anyone else in prayers? So if you want to pray for your mother or your father, saying "O Allaah, please bless my mother (so-and-so) and father (so-and-so) and keep them in peace, Ameen", then according to you this is an invalid prayer!
Because according to you, only the Name of Allaah can be mentioned in the prayer!
Listen, we don't worship the Messenger of Allaah or call upon him to answer our prayers. We pray for him, not to him. Just like you pray for your parents and your loved ones, doesn't mean you pray to them.
Now listen, the Quraan actually commands us to pray for the Messenger of Allaah
Verily, Allaah and His Angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe! Send blessings upon him and greet him with the greeting of peace.
We are saying to them The Qur?aan is the ONLY source of religious guidance; do not use any other source like hadith, sunnah, rawaaya, and? alongside with The Qur?aan.
You need to prove that the Quraan is the only revelation from Allaah to His Messenger . Until you prove that the Quraan is the only revelation, then you point will be accepted, but if you cannot prove, then you must accept what Allaah says in the Quraan, again and again, that the Messenger of Allaah has been sent with two things, the Scripture , and the Wisdom , and we must follow both. Both are revelations from Allaah.
There is not a single verse in the Quraan itself which says that only the scripture has been revealed to the Prophet , and that there is no other revelation to him. On the contrary, the Quraan proves that everything the Messenger of Allaah says is revelation that is revealed
We are telling them that there is only one SACRED mosque and that is the one in the city of Mecca with the KA?BAH right in the middle of its courtyard.
and who is denying this? Of course there is only one Masjid al Haraam (Sacred Mosque), but that doesn't mean it is the only mosque which is holy and blessed, Allaah says in the Quraan that Masjid al Aqsaa which is in Jerusalem is also holy and blessed

Peace,
Respect.I've noticed some sunnis here trying their best to "create" some """mistakes""" in the way of following Qur'an alone, living only by The Qur'an and they do this only to make way for the sunah and hadeeth.
Rashad did the same thing. Mistranslated certain verses and/or words to make way for 19. I'm telling ya, satan never sleeps. voodooMay God guides us all and Bless us.
Glory be to God.Peace. jedi

At the time of the above revelation there existed no Al Aqsaa Mosque in Jeruselem. Islam was introduced there years after the Prophet's death, pbuh. What I meant was the Prophet's Mosque in the city of Madinah which is considered ONE of the TWO SACRED/HARAAM mosques by the inventors and gardians of your AVATAR!
Salaam,
Like I said before, it is a waste of time trying to get through you guys, as your narrow mindedness and tunneled vision does not allow you to think and look beyond your non monotheistic ideology. As an example, your avatar tells a whole lot regarding the kind of Islam you believe in. Putting Muhammad pbuh as an equal, side by side with Allaah swt as the first pillar of your faith, adding a sword right underneath it as the symbol of a violent and intolerable ideology. See 318, 4719, and 3735 for the correct Islamic SHAHAADAH. Also, Islam is the religion of PEACE and tranquility, tolerance and reform. I invite you to repent, reform, and ask for forgiveness from Allaah swt and come back to The Qur?aan alone as your sole religious guidance. See 448,116. May Allaah swt Guides us all in His straight path.

Every prophet was a Muslim and followed Islaam, and the Masjid Al Aqsaa, the holy mosque of Jerusalem, was built by King Solomon . The Prophet Muhammad was miraculously taken by Allaah from Makkah to Jerusalem the Holy City,
What I meant was the Prophet's Mosque in the city of Madinah which is considered ONE of the TWO SACRED/HARAAM mosques by the inventors and gardians of your AVATAR!
All mosques are holy and sacred. But only one mosque is called the "Sacred Mosque" (Masjid al Haraam), which is in Makkah.
As for the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, it is mentioned in the Quraan , and Allaah says about it that it is built upon the foundation of righteousness.
Like I said before, it is a waste of time trying to get through you guys,
If you think it's a waste of time, feel free to ignore my posts. But anyone who is interested in a purely academic discussion from the Quraan based on logic will definitely be invited to discuss with me. If you want to resort to emotions and stereotypes, you may do so, but you will only further expose how so called "Quraanists" are the most ignorant people about the Quraan.
As an example, your avatar tells a whole lot regarding the kind of Islam you believe in. Putting Muhammad pbuh as an equal, side by side with Allaah swt as the first pillar of your faith
There are literally dozens of verses, too many to list even, where the Quraan enjoins us to obey Allaah and obey His Messenger , to believe in Allaah and believe in His Messenger . So the Prophet is constantly mentioned alongside Allaah in the Quraan. Therefore, your objection is useless, unless you want to deny the Quraan as well!
My challenge still stands, and to date, not a single one of you has been able to address it
Show me a single verse from the Holy Quraan which says that the sole source of guidance and the sole revelation to the Prophet Muhammad is the Holy Quran - and nothing but the Holy Quraan.
If you can show me even one verse, I will repent from my beliefs and accept that only the Quraan has been revealed by Allaah to the Prophet, and there was no other revelation or inspiration to him.

sunni and shi'a are the closest to quranists than jews and christians,
I already proved in my post prior to this
As has already been proven
I love it when people simply state their opinion and then claim they "proved" something. http//www.imagebanana.com/img/wg5lygwz/00008242.gif

Bit of a contradiction here, I'd say ?
How and would I be able to have an "academic discussion based on logic" with someone who already has a preconceived notion of me? And why should I be interested in wasting my time with a person whose only interest is to prove me wrong and assert his own superiority?
-
sunni and shi'a are the closest to quranists than jews and christians
On the contrary, the Quraaniyoon (Quranists) are even more misguided and astray than the Jews and Christians.
While Jews and Christians are People of the Book, the Quraaniyoon are heretics.

OK so explain why this has anything to do with following rumors and hearsay spread 200 years after Qur'an?

21-2 alif-lam-meem, this (is) the book no doubt in it, a guidance for the God-conscious.
Now your turn; post one hadith "no doubt in it" and swear by God stake your soul it is true?
Perhaps kill all puppies especially the black evil ones ...
Hadith - Muslim, narrated Maymunah
One morning Allah's Messenger was silent with grief. Maymunah said Allah's Messenger, I find a change in your mood today. Allah's Messenger saidGabriel had promised me that he would meet me last night, but he did not meet me. By Allah, he never broke his promises; and Allah's Messenger spent the day in this sad (mood). Then it occurred to him that there had been a puppy under their cot. He gave an order and it was turned out. He then took some water in his hand and sprinkled it on the place. When it was evening Gabriel met him and he said to him You promised me that you would meet me the previous night. He said Yes, but we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture. So the very next morning he commanded the dogs to be killed. He announced that the dog kept for the orchards should also be killed, but he spared the dog used for the protection of extensive fields (or big gardens). -
On the contrary, the Quraaniyoon (Quranists) are even more misguided and astray than the Jews and Christians.
While Jews and Christians are People of the Book, the Quraaniyoon are heretics.
Peace.
Could you please expand on your thinking here a little? I'm curious about your reasoning.
Do you think that a person adhering strictly to monotheism and accepts the divinity of the Qur'an while rejecting the divinity of hadith is further from the truth than a Christian who believes that Jesus constitutes part of a tri-une God, while rejecting the Qur'an, the prophecy of Mohammed AND all actions and sayings attributed to him?

Maseehullaah; please, you calling the people who loves and follow the word of allah a heretics??? , The quran , the words that there is no doubt, Mohamed's words with no doubt, Mohamed was a walking quran according to your hadiths, so think about it , what is a walking quran, a person who applied the whole of the quran upon himself, no more nor less, for he was a walking quran, not a koran and some sahih bukhari, not a quran and tafsir ibn kathir, not a quran and Wicked stories of tabari, but a walking quran, this is the only hadith that makes perfect sense, doesn't contradict the quran, for allah commanded Mohamed, to convey the quran ,not add anything to it, not substract, the whole quran to all mankibd, he was the first example, we follow mohamed, we follow the quran jusy like him, Mohamed because he was a quranist, he succesed, after him around 300 years, came sunnis and shiis, they failed, they let the islamic kingdon of allah fall, now we want to be quranists like mohamed and his high characters and pious companions, what is wrong with trying to be like Mohamed, a QURAN only person, Why do we have to be tabari or ibn kathir or sahihbukhari or sahihmuslim ......person??? OUR teacher is Mohamed through the word of ALLAH , the word of allah is the quran and not Bukhari or tirmizi ... , Allah gave Mohamed One Mighty Book to his Mighty messenger as he did to his Other mighty messengers Jesus Moses and the rest, why u want us to follow what the church teaches as christians or what the talmud teaches as jews or what the hadith teaches as sunnis or what Khabar teaches as shiaas? we want to be Mohamed's students, we want to learn his message wich is the quran, we want to follow the quran, we love mohamed because he brought to us the quran, we love the quran because it's the word of allah , We LOVE ALLAH for he is allah , our creator, why you want us to rever bukhari? who is bukhar? who is tabari? who is Ibn Kathir? all they did is put a barrier between muslims and the quran, to get to the quran you have to go through them!!! to get to mohamed teachings, you have to go through them, therefore to get to allah you have to get through them, brother, think about it, doesn't it sound like catholics? like rabbis jews.? i was a sunni, and i'm still a sunni, but i am sunna of allah, just like Mohamed the exalted messenger, i don't believe mohamed followed his sunna through bukhari and tabari, i believe mohamed's sunna is the quran , peace, may Allah guide us all

OK so explain why this has anything to do with following rumors and hearsay spread 200 years after Qur'an?
Hadith are not rumors or hearsay. They are the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated by his Companions. They were not created 200 years after the Quraan, they were compiled (as in collected and written down) much earlier than that. For example, the Muwatta of Imam Malik was compiled in the before the third century Hijri, quite early on. In fact, many ahadith were compiled even before that, within the first century of Islaam, such as the Sahifah of Hammam ibn Munnabih, a student of the companion Abu Hurairah, and the Musannaf of Abdur Razzaq as-Sanaa'i.
So first study the history of Hadith before you make such ignorant statements.
That's easy...
