Personally, I think mainstream Islam uses fear to not only lure non-mainstream-muslims (coughsunniscough) into it, but to keep the current muslims (at least, people who think they're part of mainstream Islam, even when they've yet to fathom what that is) in it. They (the dudes running the joint, i.e. Islam) legitimately believe and declare apostasy to be punishable by death. LOL! Even Allah in the Quran tells people of different religions to leave each other alone/be cool w/ each other.
That bs law is in the corrupt Old & New Testament which God called corrupt 1400 yrs ago.

How can this be the best of the sayings of all the Prophets before the last Messenger. Did the previous Messengers say something different from the last Messenger?
Allah says in His Exalted Quran, that all the Messengers brought the same "Message".
So according to Allah, no one's saying is better than the others.
Whereas, Tirmizi says that our Prophet's saying is better than the previous Prophets.Any body can feel the difference.

"All praise is for Allah" (Al-Fatiha-1)
Why all Praise is for Allah alone. The answer is in the same Verse.
"The Lord of the worlds." (Al-Fatiha-1)
The Lord of the worlds is The Sustainer, Giver and Protector of His creation.
La Ilaha Illallah
There is no Ilah, but Allah.
There is no Sustainer, but Allah.
There is no Giver, but Allah.
There is no Protector, but Allah.
There is no Haadi, but Allah.
So,---there is no one to be Praised and Glorified, but Allah.This is such virtue every one feels proud to declare, please read the Quran

I read The Quran, Alhamdolillah!
It is only Allah who deserves All Praise and Glory and Honor.
And this is what our Prophet told the ummah.-----"Whoever desires honor (through wealth and power), then (he should know that) to Allah belongs all the Honor. To Him ascend good words, and the righteous deeds does He exalt. And those who plot evil deeds (to attain honor), for them will be a severe punishment. And the plotting of those, it will perish." (Fatir-10)
After reading the above quoted Verse, no one can believe the hadith of Tirmizi is correct.
A true momin is one, who fears Allah, and bow and humble himself before his Allah, and never boasts and never glorifies himself.
Dearest Prophet was a true momin.-----"Whoever desires honor (through wealth and power), then (he should know that) to Allah belongs all the Honor.

I had a dream a week or 2 ago... I saw the Prophet(pbuh) in my dream. I couldn't see any detail in his face and he seemed extremely distant though he was standing right next to me but I undeniably saw the Prophet Muhammad in my dream and no one can convince me otherwise.
At first I didn't even want to believe it it has taken me 2 weeks to accept but now that I have had this dream I am absolutely positive the sahih hadith are true and I must follow the Sunnah.
The crazy thing about this dream is I prayed for a dream from God about 1 or 2 months prior to the dream occurring. I have been on the fence the past 5-7 months about whether or not I need to align my beliefs to the hadith or not but now I am sure I must. I prayed for a dream from God and I prayed for God to show me whether I should embrace the hadith and the Sunnah or stick to only the Qur'an. I now have my answer alhamdullilah."
Dear friend
Many smart people like you convert to many other religions, sects, and orders. For instance, what has now excited you has excited many converts to Mormonism. They too use this simple psychological game to gain new followers. When you PRIME YOUR BRAIN with such idea, your brain will more like will incubate on it and while sleeping will go through the memory and thought files. Your non-critical thinking brain relied on a false hadith and it to avoid contradiction it buried it in its subconscious. Then, while its logic zone was out of order, played the game. THen, it declared a prophetic dream.
If you bet your eternal life on your silly dreams you will most likely end up with a nightmare, and this might be an eternal one.

Interesting. . . but if you had written and asked for an interpretation, I would have said maybe it is the struggle of yourself (nafs) and your soul (ruh). But you didn't. If you're happy, be happy. But know there are many possibilities layered into dreams. Our subconscious is a complex beast.
