I just want you to know I speak from "experience". I grew up in a Christian family and a Christian culture. Even today, 99.99% of my family, friends, co-workers and everyone I know and meet are not even Believers, never mind Believers in God alone. I "wanted" to know God 17+ years ago and He led me to Quranist Islam way back then, even before I had a computer or the internet! Explain that?
Brother, you are giving "the world" and its influence Power it does not have. Our families, culture and upbringing are only invitations to disbelieve and stray from God. People can freely choose to not accept the invitation, but 99.99% of the world will. Thats Mankinds test.
Same as you, I have been seeking for the truth for the past 15years and till date only 'believe-in-GOD' that left with me. No more prophet, book, angels and judgement day, only GOD alone and guided by the 'fitrah' entrusted to me by GOD. Hope this believe will stay forever.

You have put the issue completely on its head. May God forgive you, for you approach the Almighty as a judge, accusing Him and then hoping that He will prove you wrong. God is the Judge and the way to approach Him is in the deepest humility and submission with a repentant heart. You do that and He will surely forgive your sins and open your heart to belief.

379 It is not meet for a mortal that Allah should give him the Book and the wisdom and prophethood, then he should say to men Be my servants rather than Allah's; but rather (he would say) Be worshippers of the Lord because of your teaching the Book and your reading (it yourselves).
3910 Say O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure.
3953 Say O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely He is the Forgiving the Merciful.
If I study these verses with the simple language rules, verses 3910 and 3953 are contradicting verse 379 and humanity value. The meaning of 'servant' used in these verses can be physical or mental slavery or both. The good teaching is in verse 379 whereby prophet was forbidden to use his status to enslave other human being. Unfortunately, this good teaching being tainted by the present of verses 3910 and 3953 which proves that the 'all human being are equal' idea is not something to be greatly emphasize in Quran teaching.
482 Do they not then meditate on the Quran? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy.
Yes, there are not many discrepancies but there are few or at least one since Quran is not from GOD.

Science is a methodology and not a 'knowledge giver'..technology is the application of knowledge which proven to be true through a scientific methodology.
It is He that teaches men what they initially knew not...
Science by itself is a 'revelation' from Him..
The knowledge on fetus development, micro biology and DNA IS also a revelation from Him.
Quran is NOT the last revelation.. and there are no such statement found within the Quran.

Please read carefully 3134 Allah does not say that no one else will know about the fetus's development in the womb except He. It's about the destiny of that fetus and that knowledge is with Allah alone. peace -

Verse 53 suggests that Islam was completed and perfected on the day and time Prophet read this verse to his people.
53 Forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear Me. This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Surely Quran is also being perfected and completed as it is the main reference for Islam. The science-base verses inside Quran are meant to convince reader that Quran is from god and the verses are signs that god only approved Quran to guide mankind. What inside the womb is something that the marriage couple, their parents, relatives, friends and acquaintances really interested at. Next to this question is whether the baby is normal or not. For some culture, most of the culture to be exact, to have a baby boy is the most celebrated news and the Arab during early Islam also observed the same cultural. Without knowing the capabilities of future science and technologies, the author of the Quran made up verse 3134 to show Allah's power and greatness but he is wrong. Today, the gender in the womb is no longer a secret and the inside-womb knowledge gap between Allah and human is closing making verse 3134 no longer relevant. Verse 3134 doesn't make GOD looks great.

- Dien is NOT "religion" Dien is 'judgement/attitude'.
- God doesn't care about 'religion', God do recommend certain attitude/judgement from humankind and the best judgement/attitude is to submit to His will a.k.a islam.
- Those verse DID NOT SAID THAT QURAN IS THE LAST REVELATION AND/OR GOD WILL NOT GIVE FURTHER REVELATION.
- God's revelation is a continuing process up until now and up until our future generation delivered using myriad of channels which He himself prefer to use.
- However... you have all the rights to believe whatever you want.. IF you believe that God WILL NOT give any further revelations... so it is.. for you... but not for others who are sensitive enough to see and listen on 'His revelation'.. they're the one who will be enlightened..
