It looks like society isn't ready to give women full authority over their ability to give birth. And giving birth is mainly what women have been providing to societies. It is this giving birth that women are naturally responsible of that made them in the position they long held (inside houses, breastfeeding) while men used their natural ability to go out there and labor and seek means to feed themselves and families. This going out is also what exposed men to positions of power through the exercise of activities such as politics. Therefore men ruled over women men & women.
This is the result of men and women initially doing what they were naturally able to do that led to the birth of a patriarchal society. But you cannot blame men for that.
Also, men and women are equal in terms of existing in this earth and enduring the earthly test. i.e equal in terms of being a soul behind the scenes. But in their earthly "abilities" they are quite different.
Only recently, when women have started to disregard their ability to give birth, and motherhood in general, that they started to rub shoulders with men in work environments and positions of power and thus giving away the impression that men and women are equal.
But you cannot say men and women are equal (in their tasks) if you take in consideration the immense particularity and weight of giving birth, and the society that says so is the hypocritical one specially if it does not give women full authority over their ability to (not) give birth.
So, depending on that, a society that wants to take part in the process of giving birth should also take full responsibility in case of rapes, pregnancy complications etc. Otherwise bringing down the "holiness" and value of giving birth should be enough to make that decision totally up to the woman.
This holiness is what made women for a long time stay in their parents' home and only leave it for their husbands' home, and possibly stay there too to raise their children. There was and still is religious interest in this part of women as well. just like society's interest in this part of women.
All I can say is that some strong arguments need to be put forth in order to justify or refute abortion. I'm just brainstorming.

GOD knows what every woman carries and who gets born. What about unfortunate"miscarriages"? Is that murder by someone or something?GOD also has made the "instinct" of the mother a very strong and deep love towards what she will give birth to? Trust women, that is the question. That is what God does and therefore He has nto put a ruler over women to prohibit them this or that but He Himself deals with them. Nobody is entitled to rule the body of women. It is God's, not public property and the ruler of the body of women ont hsi earth is the woman, no the State, not any man not any other woman. If they do wrong or right they will answer to God.
But the iblees men and women of fire want to rule women suerpseding God. Humanity is in in no danger of dissapearance becuse of abortion. Antiabortionists are not worried about the "children" aborted, there are many who are so because of miscarriage, they do not get the general so "pious" feelings and treatment of dead children and nobody worries about them by they one week, or six months, but all this alrma, the throwing up the arms in horror is for the sake of reigning in women. Never antiabortion drives have saved lives, they have caused the opposite, even if unworthy lives like those of many women.
It is an exercise in hypocrisy. If there was so much interest in preventing abortions, women would be pampered like kings to have them bring their children into the world. Is that the way it happens? It is so hypocritical, so repulsive this exercise in virtue at the expense of others, mostly defenceless.
Antiabortionists do not aim to save lives, but to make hell the lives of others. I also want to highlight the contrast between women being physically weaker in strength and the fact that they can give birth to life. Meaning, a woman going outside in nature has barely any mean to defend herself against a male aggressor. She's also more likely to die of injuries due to her physically weaker nature.
With that, a woman in a dangerous position is gambling with a lot. She puts not only herself but her ability to give birth as well in the hand of someone else.But men and women have different intuitions, and women have a worrying intuition that makes up for their lack of a defense mechanism. They can anticipate danger and assess it a lot more effectively than men would.
Women also choose their mating partner based on their effectiveness (in nature it is strength whereas in a human society it is basically "how much successful they seem to be".
My point is there is a dynamic between men and women that keeps each one in need of the other.
Problem arise when you have each going their own way and disregarding the other, and disregarding their nature.Now a woman who knows herself knows her worth. Women are not like men and they would risk A LOT if they put themselves in dangerous situations where their ability of giving birth could be usurped.
In cases of women getting drunk, or women miscalculating, or unwanted pregnancy due to some accident during sex or whatever. I don't think any of these justifies abortion. What happens happens and they should deal with the situation responsibly.
In cases of rape, the tragedy is the rape while the pregnancy is the consequence. This consequence will have to be dealt with knowing that two wrongs don't make a right. I think the woman should still give birth.

Well, a woman may not have the physical requisites to build heavier muscles, but that does not mean her body cannot be trained and she can be good at defense such as martial arts and she can wear close combat weaponry or handguns up to light machine guns, so it is unkind and inaccurate to say a woman is defenseless. And like I wrote, she can train the body and can acquire muscles even if not as explosive as a man's, but in combat the fight is not only about strength but also agility and a woman's slender body can be adapted to excel at that.
However untrained, an untrained man may take her down because he is naturally slightly more explosive in muscle strength and may weigh more. It happens also that many women do not fight back because they are frightened, but that is not exclusive to women but if a man is assaulted he may also cower in fear.
Please refrain from writing in a way as if women are helpless because they are not. Much of the helplessness is indoctrinated by our societies.
Trust me, if we drilled girls like we drilled men to be tough and told them it is not okay to be weak then she would be just as fierce as a man. But if we hand her dolls and are always so protective of her then this is who she will be. Women have a nature of caring, but in between that much behavior is learned.

Why should a raped woman not be allowed to abort the pregnancy? It is not like she gave permission to use her womb for the impregnation and why should she need to care for this child which came into life through evil? Perhaps you wish to torture and put the blame on her?
And many of you agree to ending the lives of domestic animals and a human fetus is not more evolved than one of those at that stage.
