Are you interested in what Quran says?

But the guy paid the dowry and had a permission from her family right? He followed the procedure in the quran...

    Fail
Understanding and mutual acceptance of marriage as a solemn/strong oath/contract

Thus, to answer your question for the specific case of "temporary marriage", there would be no punishment in this life but there may well be in the next life.

    I recommend reading The Quran.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

In being good or on not being caught? please explain what you mean by this statement i'm talking about temporary marriages here, not banging someone in secret or being caught doing it

YOu must know whether you are wanting to have a prostitute or a wife. It is up to your design.

      Salaam

        Peace kamenriderkiki,

I think that the Quran does not support sex before marriage. And loving eachother does not count as marriage, in my opinion. Besides, marriage consists of giving a dowry.

Love and compassion is one of the requirements though

"3021 From His signs is that He created for you mates from yourselves that you may reside with them, and He placed between you affection and compassion. In that are signs for a people who reflect"

Since the quran is designed to evolve with culture and time, i have doubts about Sex with GF is zina since they swore an oath(not to bang someone else on their back), accepted by both parents and financially support each other and their relationship isn't arranged and forced that which falls in the category of unlawful like some legal arranged marriage.

Any thoughts about this ? I think adultery is to be labelled for someone who cheats or sexual intercourse with other than that person's GF

If you agree tell your reasons why, and if you disagree please state your reason also sun

Yeah it's similar to today's marriage that we all know so i don't really see much of a difference between a GF/BF relationship and today's marriage both of them are the same in my opinion just different names

                  Peace Kamenriderkiki.

When you talk about subjects like these, you need to be aware of one very important factor

                  YOUR INTENTION.

What are your intentions? Do you respect men/women? Are you honest? Are you after the interest of both? Do you love one another and want to commit? etc...

These are very important questions to be asked before you look at what is allowed and so on...

If you notice in Qoran, when GOD talks about this subject He adds ( for example)

"GOD is fully cognisant of what you do"
"GOD knows everything you conceal and everything you reveal"
                  "..that you may succeed" ...etc.

What do all these mean? Simply that you may fool people but you cannot fool GOD!

So what is your intention? To have one girlfriend or many girlfriends? Then why not marry to be safe?

You see your question becomes irrelevant. What do you want really from a girlfriend/boyfriend,should be the point?

Qoran s advice is clear . See for yourself what it says, do not rely on what others say. Take it seriously as well as your relationship with the one you want to spend the rest of your life with.

                  GOD bless you.
                  Peace.

I never said you fail. I recommend re-reading without emotion/bias.

You made the claim that in your provided example the person did everything as per Quran, but on the contrary, he failed as he did not regard the marriage tie as a solemn/strong oath/contract. Unless you take "strong/solemn" to mean something that can be temporary, superficial, opportunistic, disingenuous etc.

In any case, I have updated the link to include

2235 And there is no sin upon you if you openly propose marriage to the women, or you keep it between yourselves. God knows that you will be thinking about them, but do not meet them secretly, unless you have something righteous to say. And do not finalize the marriage contract until the book interim is reached. And know that God knows what is in your souls, so be aware of Him, and know that God is Forgiving, Compassionate.

2237 And if you divorce them before having sexual intercourse with them, but you have already set the dowry for them; then you must give half of what you have agreed, unless they forgive or the guardian over the marriage contract forgives. And if you forgive, it is closer to righteousness. And do not forget the favor between you; God is Seer of what you do.

                    Another fail for your example.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

We are judged by our intentions, one may fool all of mankind but not Allah.

                      God bless

As per 4.21 sex is the holy realtion before God, it calls it mithaq ghalith, (tremendous Pact) same as He calls His pacts with the prophets. If you cheat on that and take it as a consumption good or with no intention to hnour it, as they have told you already, you may cheat others, including yourself, but you will not hceat God, and it is not any pact, like swaring anything, which is serious enough, but a pact that God himself call trmendous pact,, jast as those God himself contracts.

People play with sex, cheat with sex, but they are not conscious that they are setting traps for their souls. It is not marriage that sanctifies sex, but sex what makes of a relationship male-female something holy. What happens when people trample on holy things? The papers, the public promises and and swearing before witnesses are not the marriage. The marriage is what they do with the divine gift of their ability to create life, that is what is the subject of a mithaq ghalith. The rest is there for guaranty to society that they will not betray that pact.

Exactly, I am in full agreement with this. Its the intention that matters. I don't support random relationships. Its no different from playing with fire.

So sexual activity in a Boyfriend-girlfriend relationship is okay???

                              Some things to ponder on
Think about your future child. Would you accept if they do it especially if the child is a female?

Would you like it if a guy gets into relationship with her but doesn't give her the status of a wife?

And the last, would you agree to go in a partnership business without signing a contract? Without papers showing who you are in the company?

Well that license can be abused also in temporary marriages, so i don't think papers tell if that person is truly married or would help that guy's afterlife.
                                  From my perspective though

Would you see temporary marriages as a halal marriage just because it has papers?

But yes you're right it all comes down to each other's intentions tempt

kamenreiki, no cookies for me. Those are not better than dried crumbs. I want something better.

However, just study the question seriously. We people cheat ourselves and we think that we make the world, we don't and we will meet ourselves face to face and all our fake values and fancies will lay bare and will confront us.

                                      The scenario

I was wondering if 1 female and 1 male got stuck on an island together with no hope of getting back to the city and they want to re-populate the island does it count that both of them are committing zina? They're both not legally married. Does loving each other counts as religiously married according to the quran?

                                      It's not a joke it's a serious question

This question below is related to the scenario above(Forgot to tell anyone that it is) peace

So sexual activity in a Boyfriend-girlfriend relationship is okay???

                                      Your (Reel's) answer

                                      Some things to ponder on
Think about your future child. Would you accept if they do it especially if the child is a female?

Would you like it if a guy gets into relationship with her but doesn't give her the status of a wife?

And the last, would you agree to go in a partnership business without signing a contract? Without papers showing who you are in the company?

The reason why i suddenly asked is BF/GF sex is considered marriage because in the scenario you see above you they both fall in love on that stranded island and BOOM! they started having sex and eventually popped a few kids while they're at it(no condoms on a stranded island) and no hope getting back to the big city either.

Both of their status is on the same level as a BF/GF sexual relationship there's no witness, no papers, no parents(permission), no dowry(maybe a coconut), no nothin' only an agreement together that they will spend the rest of their lives loving each other, this scenario's been floating on my head for a while now but all i see is that just because someone doesn't have papers, witness, or a dowry doesn't mean that person isn't married in the eyes of God.

Both legally married couples and people in a GF/BF relationship wanted the same thing; an everlasting relationship, but both of them will come to an unexpected point where both of them can't stand each other that they decided to seperate.

So there's a reason behind my logic whether a sexual bond between a GF/BF is okay, so what are your thoughts on how the quran manages to deal with the two male and female above? does the quran categorized them as Fornicators since they have no papers, or witnesses,or parental agreement??

I think you get it by the wrong end.

Of course they do nothing wrong and it is not fornication. Whom is the boy going to boast about "his conquest" in a deser island? >

Even if he wanted to he cannot escape his deed except by bein suicidal and hurting his only society.

The real mizaq ghalith is the sex, but all the other conditions God sets for us not to constitute marriage but to make marriage public and acknowledged and more difficult to trample with. It is to help us be loyal to our deeds, to to constitute our deeds.

Gods do not constitute societies like we do, no big matter if the gdo their affair and then continue as always, but we are nto dogs, we are persons with or without morals, and any successful socity must be ground on moral principles, but not everybody is equally moral or inmune to temptation. So we have safeguards. Is theft theft if it happens that the owner forgot to lock the door? Teh door is to discourage the thief, not to tell him that stealing is ok.

                                        Salaam
