Getting back to the Qur'an and when it ridicules those who say "Oh it will be jut a few days", it is obvious to me that the Qur?n is not affirming any eernity of any kind, bur rather portraying the puerility of those people like saying oh you will be tortured frying you in a pan just twenty four hours.

It is plain that 24 hours of being fryed in a saucepan is enough to kill one with suffering, but since you willnot be killed and it will continue, for whatever time, what leaves no doubts is that no doubt is that however long that lasts will be enough to make you be sorry for whagever brought you to that state, extremel, abosolutely be sorry, vut then it will be too late.

We shape our future in the beyond nad whaever we shape we will have o live through, till it ends and we become something else who is not a subject of hell but that is purified.

Fire, we know, purifies. An that is the best justice that can be had, that is when the wrongdoer really, really suffers the same wrongs he caused and learns that he or she is just a wretch just as abject and defenceless as those whom he or she has trampled, and really, really, realises his errors, and rconciles with what he should or could have been. It will not be enough that he can't put up with any ore suffering, but rather that he will ut up with as uch suffering as will be needed for himto be purified and be brought to recognize his lowliness and asolute powerlessness before God and the reality He rules. Sincerity, will be the last thing he will have to gain to not feel any more the burning of hell.

What would God get out of many or few of His creatures suffering endlessly with those creatures only acknowledging Him out of terror and therefore without realising His Mercy and other names of His?

Is the Qur'an and the innumerables mentions of ar-rahmaan ar-rahiim a proof that something will outlast His mercy.

Punishing is a part of Mercy, because human are called to truth, al Haqq, in order to attain to any degree of it, punishment is a Mercy from the Allpowerful.

He doe not punish ou of hate or disgust but out of Mercy.

Obviously, the path trough punishment is far more unrewarding, at least a we seet now, tha the path through struggleless submission and trust... But His Mercy has no limits.

      Salaam

        This neo-Mutazilite falsafa mingled with a pseudo-rationalism is anti-Islamic.

        We can't rationalize religion.

            lolxxx

            where actually amanuel

becoz when i look like back my life its makes me feel like i spend first five years of my life in paradise after that hell started and still i m feeling i m in hell, few time i get happpiness of my life but it wont long last. and that same happiness become my big regret. happiness of little time convert it to long sadness.

i dnt know how more i have to suffer in this hell.

ok i believe i m in hell, but i did not associate any partner with allah, i help poor people, the money what i earn apart from necessities i alwasy give my money to family and needy. i did not lie or do dishonesty with any individual. i always work hard and try to b honest with religion well as worldly life, i always obedient to my mother and teachers never give them complaint, i never robbed anybody , i never have illegal sex with anybody.

so its my reward , is it not opposite,

on the otheer hand a frd of mine do every single thing to create trouble for other and is opposite of me but he is living life like he is in a paradise.

if we consider this life that we are already in hell or heaven then i must say its will lead me away from God and the justice,

but if there is day where everything matter will b settled and God will reward you accordingly then i may feel relax that atleast if we are suffereing this hell , in the end we will rewarded by our lord becoz we listen to him, what God commanded.

            peace

              whatever

Christian is the eternal hell, ot the Merciful God which we are told at the begining of every sura and many, mnay timeswithin the suras. Have you missed them?

You seem to have or else there is o explanation for yu to come here and act shockedand sayig it is a cheistin thigs to speak of the All Merciful. So do you think an eternal hell is a hell of a Mercy? Is that wht you are saying. Just it is not, so, if it is Merciful you should be explaining to us how that is Merciful andnot spit such an idiocy as saying tht the Meerciful God is a Christin concept and not a Qura'nic one.

Hwever, I insist, the eternal Hell is indeed a Christia concet.

              Salaam

Christian but not Biblical Gospel concept, those affirm the concept of reincarnation even if it is subtle and implicit.

                      Please clarify.

                      Salaam;

Huruf claims Hell is not eternal because Allah is Merciful.

But we not know and we can't classify His mercy. We don't know if this Mercy is subject to special conditions, we don't know if the person destined in the Hell will remain therein eternally suffering punishment or it will be destroyed there without leaving it. So the Hell can be eternal and the punishment too, or can be eternal but the punishment will achieve the Hell-dweller.

                      Make speculations is wrong.

You do not do such a thing unless you give your fabulation the name "Qur'an" ; you invent along very a happily as if you were born for that, and you invent your god and invent your Qur'an and invent yourself and myself. I congratulate you on your exuberant imagination.

                                      Lostintheworld,

However to use logical deduction is not wrong. If something is highly illogical and sounds unreasonable the probability it is is considerably high. Logic is the same no matter if it involves God/Rabb/Allah or not. Logic is an universal tool.
