You say you follow the Quran but you can't follow "the quran". You follow what you understand from the Quran. But your understanding can very well be wrong, illogical or based on lack of knowledge and/or reasoning.

I don't remember saying "Following the Qur'an", if i did then please do show me. I do however study the Qur'an alone. If my research is wrong then i simply redo my understanding, see what mistakes i made.

And the understandings can vary, and in order to determine which understanding is the right we use our logical reasoning.

Me personally i would base my logical reasoning from The Qur'an Alone and try to be accurate to it as possible. In no way is my understanding will solid or always right. I don't want things be misleading against the revelation of Allah (SWTAY).

So in order to understand the quran you resort to some kind of "logical reasoning" that is based on "the quran alone" ???
Also, how does that not make you a quran alone follower ? Even if you didn't say it, it could be easily concluded from this speech of yours.

You seem to be stuck on the idea that something has to be said in order for it to be plausible.

Well the thing is is that i don't want to follow assumptions from some people claiming like Pedophilia is advocated even though nowhere in the Qur'an does it sanction it or like killing "Non-Muslims is allowed only the fact that Qur'an only allows self defense. Besides i also follow the advice by The Creator (1736, 3528, 496, 4724)

Everything is from God. Also evil is from God. But evil is a human usage concept. God, that we know uses it with us as such concept for us. We need to have concepts such as right and wrong for our own development. But it is not necessary that there should be "evil" at the level of God. We people need such concets because we are suscetible of falling into abysses which mke our way back to God mor painful. But does a dog need aa concet of evil?

We are capable of believig us wit right to awful power, like Iblees, which s evil, but that concept does not necessarly exteds to the whole of creation.

Yes everything is from Allah/God (SWTAY), HOWEVER there are some things there are not made by God (hopefully i didn't contradict myself) Weapons, it was not made by The Creator, it was made by humans from materials that was produced by God. And another example is Evil, it was not made by Allah (SWTAY), it is the abscene of goodness when humans stop being good and follow their immoral desires. It makes sense to me. By the way Allah (SWTAY) made fruits which in it is a healing for us

"Then you shall eat from every fruit, so seek the path your Lord has made easy." From its belly will emerge a liquid that has different colors, in it is a healing for the people. In that is a sign for a people who will think.

But it says Iblis, not the devil. I have not seen a verse calling Iblis as the devil. He was of the Jinn.

Devil is the most frequently used as English translation of Arabic Iblis. THe Quran was conveyed in Arabic.

Besides Iblis in Quranix.org is a masculine nominative proper noun which could mean it's a name (Correct me if i am wrong) while Al-Shaytaan also in Quranix.org has Al as the definite article in the beginning of the word Shaytaan which is also masculine nominative proper noun but with Al as the definite article, it becomes a title. (Again, correct me if i am wrong)

                                          Peace The Sardar.
Brother Cerberus has a valid point. Just because we understand a verse using lexicon, grammar or...does not mean we have the right meaning/understanding.
Similarly brother Novice is only asking you to have a look, to see if you can learn more.
From my past conversation with both brothers ,they seem sincere in their views. They are not telling you that you are wrong nor are they criticising your method. I hope I am right in my assumptions ,otherwise apologies to all concerned.

Both brothers ,in my opinion, know that Qoran sometimes break the normal rules of lexicons and grammar and has a deeper meaning that needs to be patiently analysed and pondered.

From my point of view, we need to use our eyes, ears and brain/logic and work hard on our attitude to accept that we may be wrong and set on our ways ,then persevere patiently and be willing to change our views ,challenging ourselves to be honest and not leave doubts in our head.
Following our instinct is a built up mechanism within us by our Creator to test our resolve.
Understanding Qoran is a task that needs to be taken seriously with honesty and sincerity so that we are doing it to better ourselves and grow our soul./spirit.
Also ,in my opinion, it can only be done with the help of the Author of Qoran.
Best of luck to you in your quest.
                                          GOD bless you.
                                          Peace.
