    Psychologically upsetting the "chained" mind by confronting him with realities and facts is the tradition of all the Messengers of Allah and we must follow them if we wish to get rewarded.

        Dear Leoxyz,

        It is but natural that people suffering from psychological problems keep indicating their syptoms themselves. Therefore please take care, on lookers may not get some impression. This is also available on this thread

        Dear Brother that is question of just elementary knowledge of Arabic which probably you are lacking.Anyhow here is the reference.

        Last but not least
        I am not a learned person in this field.Neither it is my profession.
        I am just a learner at a priliminary stage.{Leoxyz}

        The quote from taajul 3arous is about "qabeelataintwo tribes" not qiblatain. Either you missed the "yaa" of the first one while colouring it or it is a typo in the dictionary. The second one is correctly spelled.

        The poem line in lisaanul 3arab does not talk about "qibla direction of salaat". Neither the houses of "bani tameem" nor "almadeena" are "qibla" of salaat. Other words such as "qubla" and "qabla" are written in the same way with different vocalization. The one you cited is not vocalized because it is not the main entry, so you can't confim what it is. But it is NOT qibla of salaat, which mazhar is talking about.

        I think you started searching under qibla (which would be the normal procedure) and you found nothing. Dictionaries normally give the noun and its plural (especially for broken plurals), but for "qiblaa=direction for salaat" lisaanul 3arab does not give any plural, yet it gave the different plurals for other words in this entry.{Sister Samia}

        You insist that these are genuine words "Qiblatain " or Qiblataan" {dual and plural}. Please translate these "words" in simple Arabic and english/urdu, for my sake and understanding, highlighting the perception/idea/thought to be reflected by these words since words are meant only to convey perceptions.{Mazhar}

          Samia also read it wrongly though she is arabic but does not know arabic at all.
          Do you accept qiblataan/qiblatain or not

              You could not read 'single " word i.e "qiblataan"and you are asking me to translate and you read it "qibilataan".Is this not so?
              Subhanallah.
              You could not translate the Lisaan ul Arb text about Khimaar and said that
              Naseef for women
              Khimaar for men.

                    Can you just translate the passage asked for if you can? I do not want this thread to be degenerating to a point where people keep testing others and taunting them. If not for Samia than can you translate it for me and maybe she and others can benefit from what you know.

                      I did not start testing ,it is she who did it first.

                            Peace,

                            I have been doing some thinking on the word rum. It is either of the form fu&lun or fu&lun. The waw would become assimilated. It is like mad&w for instance or more appropriately maqul from qaala. I will find more examples if i can closer to the form fu&ul. This a rule however and I am providing proof to in order to concrete this in everyone's mind. fu&ul can be singular or the plural of a number of other different forms. I know a few of them off hand but I want to use Wright's to give all of them so give me some time. When i do post the singulars understand that the meanings that coincide with these forms can apply to rum, as a plural.

                            The use of feminine can relate to people, groups or inanimate groups/plurals, feminine plurals and singulars. Rum being feminine can relate to the people of Rum (predominantly understood as Byzyntinians, I'm sure this can also refer to Rome as a whole).

                            Godbless,
                            Anwar

                              Was not The Quran revealed in Arabic ? If the word "Qiblatain" is in the Quran then it has to be an Arabic Word . Quran 122 says that The Quran was revealed in Arabic , therefore , every word in it is ARABIC .

                                  That's the main issue. It is not in the quraan, although its absence from the quraan does not prove it is not an Arabic word. That's why the thread is going on.

                                    A word must have a fact on its back otherwise it is a fabricated one, just scum, utterance of the mouth. It is a matter of primary knowledge; it does not need scholars to confirm it. Tell the perception conveyed by these two fabricated words and consider that perception if it could be called a rational one.

                                    Existence of a singular word denoting a fact does not mean that dual and plural must be present.

                                    An utterance from mouth does not give it sanctity of a word. A word has its own sanctity and that is the fact behind it.
                                    In Quran there is a word ?Aadim?, if tomorrow you tell me that according to grammar its dual and plural could be ?Aadimain? and ?Aadimaan?, do you think me that big a stupid that I will accept it?

                                      This is what I have been crying ,you should have primary knowledge of arabic.
                                      Duals can occur to any noun in Arabic.
                                      This is such a basic principle but a quranist cannot understand.

                                        "Duals can occur to any noun in Arabic"{Leoxyz}

                                        Zoroastrians also believe that.

                                        What about plural of noun in Arabic?

                                          Instead of shedding these Pearls why not to improve Arabic.You will get this basic principle.
