I have read quite a few biographies(or part of them) and all of them are ridiculous. AFAIK almost all biographies are written by traditionalists and they write unrealistic things to glorify the prophet. Let me know too if you come across a good one.

There is something so poetic and majestic in all of the symmetry and pattern laid out before us. It's breathtaking and I think that's why I've heard many scientists, such as Prof. Brian Cox (he's atheist or non religious as far as I know) say that it's a miracle that's we're here and they always talk of the splendor and beauty of the world and universe around us. It captivates everyone and the feeling and sense that it's a miracle of some sort seems to remain amongst most people. Mash'Allah. Thanks for sharing.

I would also add that it shows us that there is a foundation and intricate pattern within life and the universe. That there is still a lot more to know and that we may not ever know a lot of it but that's that the point really. With a lot of things in life, there is both reason and faith. You use your reason to understand a set number of things, you don't know all the answers, you might not be able to explain other things but you have faith in it because the reasoning is established. That's why the whole Universe can seem very "bizarre" - but this is reality, reality is "unbelievable" at times.

"History is written by the victors". Although hadith and other sources of history might contains some truth, the problem is that you cannot make sure which part of it is right. IMO the mullahs and the hadith collectors have served as agents of the rich and powerful people. Take zakat as an example. 2.5% of income is nothing for a rich person but can be significant for a poor person who hardly manages to feed his family. Similarly, you will find many hadiths against the women who were oppressed in the Arab world.
I think the beauty of Quran is that it speaks directly to you and does not require history to understand it. Even if you cannot link a verse to a particular event in history, it still clears its message and has a lesson for you.

I'm not saying that racism does not exist. I know about these hardcore types. I have seen, heard and challenged these nut jobs myself. They exist, but they don't account for all views. Nor does some twit telling someone that they are not welcome in an area, make that area a "no go" area. I don't but I saw a clip of his speech if you're talking about the imam. As far as racism and discrimination by muslims is concerned I've seen it with my own eyes. Many mosques teach hate esp. against the jews. I know that the media tends to exaggerate everything but some people do act very aggressively. Good question btw but you should ask that imam .
Racism is everywhere and you will find non-muslims doing the same with muslims. Many people do see them as no-go areas but I guess it all depends on how cautious you are.

I believe that if your government is commanding according to the Quran, there is nothing wrong with obeying it. This will help law and order to prevail in the society and will prevent chaos.

I've spoken to my sunni muslim friends of how I feel and sadly, They say I'm kufr for questioning the hadiths and quote passages of the quran saying I must follow them. I always read what it is they quote to see for myself but do not see it saying you must follow the hadiths. Only saying follow the prophet. Which I have. I follow exactly his message as stated in the quran. The same message abraham brought and all the prophets before with NO EXTRA BOOK!!

Im still praying but in my own way, multiple times a day but until i have finished the quran, and understood or researched myself what it says, Im not going to just pray the traditionalist way or do things simply because Thats what other Muslims do.

That's exactly what the quran teaches us 1736 And do not uphold what you have no knowledge of. For the hearing, eyesight, and heart, all these you are responsible for.
The word sunnah is only used for the way of Allah(sunnat Allah) and for the previous messengers of Allah in the quran. Nowhere in the quran does it use the word sunnah for prophet Muhammad. Try to look at words in the quranic context as it helps a lot in understanding the quran.

Many European countries including England are getting islamised(political islam) at an alarming rate. The sad thing is that many mosques use the Quran as a bait to attract non-muslims and after they get converted, they are only taught about the hadith and "sunnah" of the prophet.

There are so many perspectives to consider and so many different situations that I am not sure the best judge on earth can fairly call.

I agree with what Emil said. Cutting off hands can easily be exploited especially if a country is in poor law and order situation.
Secondly, you didn't back up "Quran's law is soft but discipline, It forgiving crime if repenting, but hard punishment if commited for second time." by any quranic verses.

I think soft punishment is very reasonable and practical. It's very easy to steal a million dollars but if you have to work and pay back the money you won't steal again.
If a very poor person commits theft to feed his kids who are starving to death and you cut off his hands, he wont be able to work in the future. Don't you think its unfair?

There are many practices and interpolations that the sunni/shia and others "sects"
uphold that have no Islamic basis. The bias against dogs is one such example.

I just checked your profile, I am from your neighbouring "Islamic" republic where a governor was gunned down for condemning the barbaric blasphemy law and a young girl was shot by militants for promoting women's rights (. Good to see people from this part of the world )

I know that I am not alone as Allah is always there for me. Its just that I can't wait to see some monotheists in real life.
