The people here is a very mixed sort of a "group"... actually, they are not a group in its real sense, since the only group character arises when people visits this forum and uses it for dialogs... which doesn't really make it a group.
Some people here might like to, and do, think of themselves as "free minders", quranists" or whatever, as a way to set themselves apart from other groupings, and make their own group, to have an identity. This is what Damon is disliking I believe.
Other people are just themselves. They are tired of labels and factions, and they feel that they are just one human being in a world full of humans. They try to find better and better ways to live and they don't feel like labeling themselves anything special. For clarification in different situations, they might explain themselves by using terms such as "quran alone" or whatever, but they don't build their identity on this.
