Peace, Has to be 2 for me. The Quran is very straightforward on that issue. For example, Christians worship God, but not 1 God, and they are disbelievers. They can be as good as they want, but they do not match it up with the faith, and vice versa. God is the best judge. Those who believe in God (not 3 gods or 1000) Those who lead a righteous life Those who believe in the last day will not fear nor will they grieve. God will forgive any sins except polytheism after death. Be it the ego, a man, etc. Peace

Peace Allen, This is not a proof/evidence.This is you self concocted. Provide the evidence/proof from classical arabic sources like ; -Classical arabic dictionaries classical arabic literature. This is a common modus operandi of Quran aloner to dodge the people by 'self concocted ,fabricated ,preconceived ideas". Still waiting for evidence of these two words (Rumdan/Ramdan) from either -Classical arabic dictionaries or -Classical arabic literature I hope you will not run away NOTE One correction for you these standard words are called in English as "scales/measures' not "weights". Are you denying that the form with its various renditions as Fa3aLAN, Fa3LAN and Fu3LAN exist in the Arabic language? Let's see who is running away from answering. While you are at it, don't run away from giving an example of anything that you posted which is "intricate" requiring "advanced faculties" beyond what kids are fed in school. Either this or take your boasting words back like any honest humble person would. NOTE One correction for you these standard words are called in English as "scales/measures' not "weights". Why am I not surprised that you like to focus on the irrelevant? Peace, Ayman

True, to an extent, but the Quran requires interpretation. In order to interpret something rightly one needs knowledge of the language and culture, as well as an understanding of any historical items that are related to interpreting something correctly. When dealing with a statement like the one in the Quran regarding the cross, in order to find the truth we have to eliminate those interpretations that don't mesh with sound academic study and prior revelation. To give you an example of what happens when we fail to do this, one only needs to look at the Christian development of Trinitarian theology. Greek readers eisegeted pagan concepts into a surface reading of the text, and now we have "God" in three persons. Yipee. The same sort of mistake can be made with the Quran. I'd be interested to know how the swoon theory and the substitution theory developed in Islam. Are there any pre-hadith commentaries on the Quran, particularly related to this Sura? Peace, evyon It also needs a very good grasp of reality, something hadeeth inventors clearly didn't have.

He drew the Prophet Muhammed of arabic mythology, quite accurately too. But not the one in the Quran, though.

Here is the GREAT question Nerspi that truly puzzles me. Those who accuse others of not following the quran alone and having "consensus of ignorance" are normally the most divided. Those who say submitters have no foundation while they read the same book are the most divided. That is what really confuses me. Why is it that those you argument against salat, against hajj, against zakat from it traditional understanding are the most divided. why is that? why if they follow on book, that claims to be easy and for the sincere, yet they cant EVEN agree on simply things like what salat is, what hajj is, what zakat is and how to implement these things? why is that? How come those who claim and accuse other of not following "only" the koran are the most divided. They accuse others of not possessing that knowledge of the Koran and have consensus on ignorance, yet they are MORE divided than any other "sect" AMONG THEMSSLEVES?!? To me that is the true division. FIVE YEARS ago there was a debate on what salat is was and should be within that group. NOW five years later, no one have any solid proof to convince anyone within the group. And it seem to me every year they become more divided on the issues. Yet you criticizes others for unity and consensus. Yet you accuse others of having "consensus of ignorance" while they are "divided with ignorance." It blows my minds how the accusers accues others of ignorance yet rejoice in there over their division, no consensus, ad ignorance on issues. Who is truly the ignorant one? salat rukku and sajood may not full my stomach, but it helps me remember GOD (2014). Hajj may not be about woman oppression and animal mistreatment, but is benefits the soul(2197). Facing the kabba may not make me face prostitution and child slavery, but it unifies the submitters (2150). According to the Koran, these things have value and a specific purpose. DONT try in a sad attempt to make it look like the purpose of these things goes against important issue like women oppression, orphans, slavery, war etc. Its an insult to intelligence and basic common sense. Different salaat ways does not mean division. Real divisions is when each believes the other ways to pray is not valid and not accepted. Real division means I am right and you are wrong. I am a Muslim and you are not. There is different ways we give charity and we do zikr. It does not mean there is division. Yes some here attack Sunnis and insult their ways. But not all. Sunnis problem is they think they have all the answers straight from the prophet. But I still believe the people here are far more tolerant and accepting of pluralism than any community of Sunnis. 5 years ago there might have been extremism but I think many here have now accepted that there is many ways to God and there is a wisdom in the Koran for leaving room for different interpretation.

Peace hati, the fact that on a single hand it can be written is itself a miracle. Traditionalists regard the left hand as dirty so when they see the word alLah written on it, they dont see it as a miracle. Traditionalists reject miracles as long as these dont suit them.

Also if the practioners of Anal Sex Can stand The Pain and The Smell , why not ? >D Peace And piety is not that you would enter a home from its back, but piety is whomever is righteous and come to the homes from their main doors. !

Peace, I think one can say Muhammad Abduh and Rashid Rida who were scolars of Al Azhar who were classed as apostates by the saudi clerics. They are both dead but one can find information readily on them. I am not so sure whether they were relying only on the Quran alone, but they did put into question the hadiths. Unless someone knows better. Wassallam Right, its that tradition Gamal Banna follows. No, they are not considered Koran aloners or even rejectors of hadiths. They are the third type, they only accept hadiths that does not contradict the Koran. They criticized the reliance of past hadith scholars on Isnad rather than the matn to authenticate a hadith report. The problem when you try to stay in the middle is you get rejected by both sides. I think all taken together provide interesting insight. I try to stay away from rigid ideologies. There is nothing called the absolute truth. 11.45-47 And Noah called upon his Lord, and said "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the justest of Judges!", He said "O Noah! He is not of thy family for his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou become one of the ignorants!"- Noah said "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee, from asking Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless thou forgive me and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be among the losers!" 2.30. Behold, thy Lord said to the angels "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said "I know what ye know not." 2.31. And He taught Adam the nature of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said "Tell me the nature of these if ye are right." 2.32. They said "Glory to Thee, of knowledge We have none, save what Thou Hast taught us In truth it is Thou Who art perfect in knowledge and wisdom." 2.33. He said "O Adam! Tell them their natures." When he had told them, God said "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal? If the angels had limited knowledge and also the prophets, why should I accept absolute truth from anybody? confused

The quran says it is complete, clearly explained, detailed, a clear explanation for everything and specifically warns against following other ahadith other than the quran. This is simply fact. No way of getting around this, sorry. Please note that looking at a document for historical information does not mean we should take it as divine guidance/law. This is simply fact. No way of getting around this, sorry.

Peace Dear Gentlemen, I'm sorry to interrupt in your deep conversations but I have to just break the ice a bit. Look, I will point it out childishly simple. Everything done in public are a concern for the public and crimes and ill behaviours shall then be punished in public. Because it effects the community and its laws and morals. Crimes and ill behaviours done in secret are mostly to be punished by God in the way He choose. If there is lets say married persons involved in zina and a spouse have witnessed it or the adulteres has confess about it then the court cannot take up the case in public but with closed doors and solved in form of payments and or also right to get divorce etc. Islam is not difficult and Quran points it out clearly that it's fully detailed in the way it has to be detailed so to speak. Again I must say that sister Samia has given you a very simple and clear explanation from Quran. But still there are people who want to make things more difficult for themselves, dunno why!? Maria

Evolution theory was already partially developed by the ancient greeks but it were Muslims in the 12th century who started recording proof for it and even made the first statement that man developed from early apes. Ibn Khaldun wrote in his Muqaddimah, an Introduction to History "One should then look at the world of Creation. It started out from the minerals and progressed, in an ingenious, gradual manner to plants and animals. The last stage of minerals is connected with the first stage of plants, such as herbs and seedles plants. The last stage of plants such as palms and vine sis connected with the first stage of animals, such as snails and shellfish which have only the power to touch. The word 'connection' with regard to these created things means that the last stage of each group is fully prepared to become the first stage of the next group. The animal world then widens, its species become numerous, and, in a gradual process of creation, it finally leads to man, who is able to think and reflect. The higher stage of man is reached from the world of monkeys, in which both sagacity and perception are found, but which has not reached the stage of actual reflection and thinking. At this point we come to the first stage of man ( after the world of monkeys). This is as far as our (physical) observation extends." This is just one example out of hundreds of opinions and observations made by Muslim scholars in the early centuries of Islam. When Darwin made his own speculations based on the Muslim Theory of Evolution, it was taken up by the Materialist Movement of the West. Because the Theory of Evolution is not supported by the Bible, and also because Darwin's speculations gave room for a Creator-less creation, Darwin's version of the Theory was taken up by the Atheist. Through this Evolution Theory was seen as equal to Atheism, and Muslims, through loss of their knowledge and their aversion of the Materialist Colonial powers of the West that had conquered them, became to reject the Theory of Evolution. And took up together with the Christian world, the concept of Instant Creation. A concept that goes directly against the language of the Quran and its Message as will be shown in this article http//19.org/index.php?id=91,415,0,0,1,0

Iftikhar is campaigning for schools both for religious reasons and clearly he says that he wants them just for Pakis. You can get Paki / halal food served in some public schools, and you can learn urdu in schools where there are many Pakistanis attending. half the population in england are chritians. sure their numbers are decreasing since athiesm is on the rise, but they are not a minority, well not yet anyway. I can't stand the holier then thou the kafir are immoral attitude which reeks through his letters. Faith based schools are a no-no. Since muslims believe that life is a test why should going to a public school even matter? As for Paki culture there is nothing remotely morel about things like honour killing and forced marriages, both, especially the latter are a serious problems. I would like to distance my self from things like that. As for me disliking certain accents its got nothing to do with being prejudice, my english teacher hated my trampy Yorkshire accent and she made that perfectly clear, so I have modified the way i talk because I know relatives from out of town also find it irritating.

No i dont, except when someone died and for diplomatic reasons i go in and pretend to pray inside. Unfortunately families do not always understand our religious beliefs. To avoid problems, it's better to pretend, and lie. But apart from deaths, i never go to the "mosques" because there are none that support God Alone. I do have sunni friends, they know my belief but we dont debate.
