When I think I do something wrong to someone, I usually could not even sleep well at night due to the feeling of guilt until I can make up for it or make sure that that person does not have any ill-feeling toward me. I'm the kind of person who cannot brush aside unpleasant things which happen to me easily.

Peace Sarah, Something came to my mind, Have you ever heard that you can not marry an ex husband unless you have been married to another man then divorced then gone back to him? So say I was married to X and then broke up(divorced) if I wanted to go back to him I have to get married to Y then get divorced and then marry X again?? I've heard this a number of times.. I'm not sure how it is backed up but whats the view on it? Salam And if he hath divorced her (the third time), then she is not lawful unto him thereafter until she hath wedded another husband. Then if he (the other husband) divorce her it is no sin for both of them that they come together again if they consider that they are able to observe the limits of Allah. These are the limits of Allah. He manifesteth them for people who have knowledge.

Peace Phoenix, Let,s see if we can make some sense of this .as i understand i will touch on different notes that we can elaborate on them later! True love is achieved through surrender! True love belongs to the Higher SELF. Higher self is ALIVE, PASSIONATE and in LOVE! Higher SELF is the breath of GOD blown into this creature called human. Each human consists of two parts which generate his/ her consciousness. The higher self is the source of this awareness, love and joy and oneness with all. This light of awarness and love is not our direct experience yet! We experience that after that light has passed through the coloured glasses of the ego and forms the concept of I , me and mine versus others! When the glasses become too dense, no light can come through and the love of ego becomes a pure emotion based on desires. This love is the other side of the axis of hate. It belongs to the world of duality of ego. LOVE is then that emotion which expresses MY attraction. Hate is that emtion which expresses MY repulsion. Pleasure is that emotion that expresses the fulfilling of MY needs. And suffering is that emotion that expresses the vacancy of MY needs. So everything exists within an frame of identification generated by our mind. This identification is done through a sense of separation So Adam becomes fearful of DEATH and desires eternal life ( First step of ego-formation). I am and I am separate and I am not secure and I eat the fruit of the world to find that security And the Higher SELF falls to his SELFISHNESS. He becomes hypnotized and falls in sleep and ego has risen. His true Love becomes sexual desire. He wants to repress it and give them a spiritual covering (leaves of trees of haven). But that is fake! Just a ritual he needs to listen to the words of his LORD to retain the state of the HIGHER SELF again. So in spiritual practices we start with purification. We start with cleaning the glasses of ego so that some light can come through. There will come a moment when human being becomes aware of both of these presences within himself. They live side by side. Killing the ego is the next step.the greater Jihad. So Abraham was a purified man of GOD, but he still had two things which were his own belongings. His love for his principles and his love for his son. The only two things that gives Abraham a sense of identification. These are MY principle and this is My son. Abraham is intuited to give them both up. Abraham surrenders and offers his will up. And higher SELF is retained. I talked too much! We will continue later. peace,

Peace sis "Elke", Peace johnny well, you have a point here. Problem is it is no problem at all to organise one's insolvability and to pay no alimony or just the minimum. Crazy world, some people make children, even legally, and the just go on with a new life, without looking back and taking responsibility. i see it everyday. and yes, here we go again, the god will be the only judge in these cases. elke JK- The phrase "the God will be the only judge of this" doesnt make sense in the context im feeeling your using it. GOD judges through the people BUT only through those who use their rationaility and the scientific method t eliminate bias as much as possible. The above case is no exception. GOD Bless!

Tay, i have to second what you're saying. A lot of the chaos and bickering is part of what drove me away some years ago and in between i did come and browse the forums and still i wasn't drawn back. However, now, mashallah, this forum is populated with beautiful people, even when people disagree it is in such a civil manner. May God protect us from the Shaitan and the whispers he fills our ears with.

The Quran has shown this over and over. Why would it be wrong on male homosexuality? Its highly unlikely. 2) The laws mentioned in the Quran or the condemnations are not to be taken as a joke if true and they are then, if the scripture is from the Supreme Intelligence, there to protect society 3) Moreover wer not basing it entirely on the statements in the Quran. But these stataements plus the anal sex issues ive already discussed should at least motivate us to perform an unbiase study to see how harmful or harmless male hs can really be and i thought staring off with a lie detector test, which id take myself first, would be the easiest way. So please dont sidestep the issue but instead you could suggest some scientific method in order to test whether male hs is harmful to society directly or indirectly, on the short or long term.
