I personally like to look of the Israeli army, thier soldiers lime green uniforms looks unique, but thats about as much good as I can say about the Israeli army. But honestly I couldn't care less about either nation as long as they can shut up and stop shooting at each other.

Salam. I am from Malaysia. His Book "Hadis Satu Penilaian Semula" or Hadith A Re-Evaluation is first publish in Malaysia in 1986. But it is quickly banned in Malaysia by the religious authority and his teaching of 'Anti-Hadith' is declared deviant from the the accepted 'Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah'. The campaign to degrade him and his Anti-Hadith teaching is a success whereas if you ask any ordinary muslim in Malaysia about him they will say that "He is astray, he is anti-hadith" Before this he is forbidden to write in newspaper or magazine, but now the banned had ease and he is now free to express his view, this is his blog. http//www.kassimahmad.blogspot.com/ Imagine, what will happen if his book is not banned, I'm sure a revolution in Malaysia Muslim mindset to longheld believe will happen. But the idea is so radical that the unity of Muslim in Malaysia is at stake. Personally, I think the approach to devalue hadith is not proper here, It is better to have a campaign to buy and read the Qur'an Translation since most Malay just read the Qur'an without understanding anything. Peace I don't think the problem is really that more children are being born - its just that the population as an average across the globe is actually getting older. People arent dying fast enough at the moment. Although I do agree, having fewer children is a great idea. The problem we have is that these sorts of laws are more likely to be implemented in the developing world as their governments are pressured by the developed world. I have a child, and he is a brilliant kiddo. When you have one - and understand how they can make you feel as a person - you are more likely as a family to have more... anyway - just my brain-emptying moment for now... darcus

I have found the traditional understanding and commentary of this concept of the Shahid 'living' as opposed to people who simply die quite interesting. I'll see if I can dig up any stuff on this but I'm sure there are others who know what I'm talking about.

Britain bends over backwards to cater for ALL ethnic minorities. There?s a certain amount of money the government puts aside for ethnic minorities / people of different faiths/cultures to make them feel more "at home". And I personally have tremendously benefited from that and I am eternally grateful for it ). Iftikhar I used to be a Sunni Muslim and my school bent the rules to cater for me, and their were hardly any Muslims in my school, they knew nothing about my faith but were very sensitive to my needs. Even when the odd idiot at school made a slightly racist remark to me the school took it VERY seriously and the child was harshly punished for it, even though I didn?t feel it was necessary to punish them coz it did not bother me in the first place, his racist remarks bothered them more then it bothered me. In the UK the government has funded some Islamic schools which I am not happy about. Asking for more state funded Islamic schools is just bloody annoying.

Peace, I tend to agree with bro Arnold once again(amazing how im getting closer to his views day by day sun). Bro Bahman and i have found out last year tht RK's calcs reg the end of the world were inconsitent and thus they have no merit. The age of forty issue makes sense since GOD links tht to maturity in the Quran. aybe this is also the reason why many young people who engage in all kinds of drugs, sexual activities, etc later become very civilized humans , get married and even be loyal to their partner. It all needs time and GOD knew tht. As for the code-19 pattern in the Quran, i ofcourse accept that because its as solid as the big bang and the theory of evolution. Always remember GOD's human messengers are NOT messengers 24 hrs a day but at particular times there is direct connection with them and GOD possibly directly through the quantum particles and that is when they receive messages/inspiration. The rest of the time theyr just normal. GOD Bless!
