For me, my sunni friends have been very understanding and one of them wishes me to send him emails to see my point of view and help whichever one of us is right, he is a Saudi, and I have an Algerian and a Palestinian associate who are the same, perhaps a little less vocal about their views. However, I think my situation is incredibly unique compared to most and has limited the amount of critisisms certain Muslims can hurl at me. Whereas I only dread some of the hardships others of our predicament when they are in less favourable circumstances...

Please let me relay to you that there are Muslims , men and women, as my wife and myself who do not therefore fit your description of "we" We use to respect traditions, habits. dogmas that not in Al Quran. Conjecture become a habit whreby according to Allah no distinguish between prophets just even in calling of their names. It would be conjecture to think we, all Muslims, have come from the same background as Sunni, Shia etc.. traditionalism which as you say "respect traditions, habits, dogmas that not in Al Quran." Please do not let my birth place be the basis of conclusion based on guesswork and please never associate me with a sect, past or prersent. If one takes into account the Universal Message of our Deen, we can understand that there is much more to the society of Believers than just reformists and traditionalists. Peace be on you... Here's one just for you According to the Quran, was Firoun and his troops drowned (250, 2840, 17103) or were they preserved (1092)? Would you call this mocking or defecations and urinations as mquran would have put it? Are you willing to discuss this matter with me along with other Moses's tales? Danish is non moslem, he keens to know about Islam and Al quran, he might had learned al Quran intensively - not from Moslems but - from parties may be opposite to Islam, by which he compiles all verses that he thinks controvenes. Any way his logic should be appreciated, he invites us to think similarly to him. The coming of prophets are to make down all super power's kingdom to be replaced by Allah's kingdom. Since you know your Kemetic religion that well, then please let us know what faults did you come across in those wikipedia links that you disagree with and that which is false according to Kemetic beliefs. Do you want me to present other sources besides wikipedia that talks about the same thing but in different wordings? peace enquirer, if you look around you, everything works in a certain way, everything has an intelligent design to it. Look at the periodic table, the solar system...everything works in perfect harmony with everything else. The universe is like a clock, and everything in it are gears working together. So there is an 'intelligence' in this world, and we are to serve that intelligence (universal law), which means serving the whole (the clock). humans cause disharmony because they don't serve the whole, they serve themselves, they set up partners to God. If nothing more, God is everything (as one).

Why can't it be 'subsequently' ? Secondly, did Everwhine actually read 10/92? If he did, why did he think Firaun's troops were preserved in body? The ayat only mentions Firaun. The entire question (more accurately, challenge) and answer could have ended in just three short postings, had you acknowledged the answer. Instead of reflecting on and acknowledging that simple yet sound answer, you chose to engage in irrelevant arguments and indulge in ad hominem attacks. Some of your opponents too contributed to your diversion of the issue through lengthy and irrelevant arguments. Edip, I was looking for an explanation from mquran not a question, including but not limited to providing evidence, in conjunction to other related verses and as well as to some of the points I?d risen. I invited him to an oral debate at Paltalk. He kindly accepted the invitation. In about an hour the issue was clarified for many participants. So Please make a list of TEN of your most powerful criticism towards the Quran, and let us know that you are ready for an oral discussion. Also tell us the best times you will be available. Written discussion has many advantages over oral discussion; however, one advantage of oral discussion (Socratic debates between two people) sometimes override all others it is immediate and let's the hay get separated from grains. I?m glad that you?ve offered to join in where others may have failed and perhaps can better explain my several concerns. My time is very unpredictable and complicated, and as you?ve mentioned that written discussion has its vantage over oral counterpart, and in that, it is also comprehendible, time warped and manifested. Salaam Rifat, Well, I know that feeling of being shunned or hated even by your close friends and families. When they think you are "different" or "mad" ;D If you feel the forum's situation is as you said above -- a few of the members are more concerned with their ego rather than focus on quranic research -- then just ignore these few. It's sad, or maybe frustrating at first, but when you managed to ignore them (not clinging to the unhealthy situation), you'll feel better. That's what I do. but i didn't quit because there is still a lot of enlightened members who has sufficient knowledge of the scripture and knows how to properly keep this forum alive!! I agree. And that is why I like it here. There are a lot of useful stuffs here that can aid my personal studies of the quran. But I have to say this. You are awesome for a teenager.
