peace Rifat, Please see the reference posted by JM http//www.free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=3361.0 In that my thread, my article is referenced. Actually the same problem is still there, but using bond lessens the issue as bond can be more generically understood. Perhaps it is thinking of it as a special word has caused the problems? Perhaps it should be considered "more generically"? Just a thought. What the "bond" refers to, is clearly discussed in the context of chapter 9. Wakas

Peace Wakas and all, Great post. Here is another thought; Would it be sufficient evidence to demonstrate thoughts are controlled as there is a structure that can control information with a seamless multitude of mechanisms? However, the evidence is better than that... It is time for awakening before taghut firmly establishes itself on earth. Taghut right now is not bold because it is not in full control from what I see. Freedom loving people need to respond before the game is over... http//www.freedom-force.org/ Peace

peace thanks for the reminder Imran. I think many debaters fall into that trap. When I "lose," I just say "thanks" and move on (not without learning of course).

Does it say anywhere in the Quran, not the hadiths, that the following are forbidden? And if so, can you send me the chapter and verse? I am having very very horrible misery at home, my husband whom I just married is Sunni, and I am too, or so I thought, I am an American Convert. But I only follow and beleive in the Quran. My husband, makes me so miserable and forces me to abide by rules in the hadiths, that I want some evidence they are not in the Quran. Also, does anyone know how I might save my marriage, by getting an Imam who follows the Quran, and is not brainwashed to follow the hadiths, to speak with me and my husband? Is there any Imam out there that is verifiable and can help me?? Forbidden??? Dogs as pets and in home Women wearing perfume outside the home Certain kinds of Art such as pictures of animals etc, and photos of family and loved ones in the home Children wearing clothes with pictures on them such as animals Playing music and instruments Girls cannot learn ballet or other forms of dance or play sports, like swimming and sports in which she has to wear shorts As salamu alaykum. Respectfully. Just show your husband this Although God declares that Quran is FULLY DETAILED, & shall be the only source, the majority of Muslims have been duped into following the conjecture known as Hadith & Sunna. While Quran is proven by PHYSICAL EVIDENCE to be the authentic and unaltered word of God (see the book, "QURAN VISUAL PRESENTATION OF THE MIRACLE&quot, Hadith and Sunna are unanimously recognized as conjecture. "Shall I seek OTHER THAN GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed THIS BOOK FULLY DETAILED? ....The word of your Lord is COMPLETE, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words; He is the hearer, the omniscient. Yet, if you obey the majority of people, they will take you away from the path of God. That is because they follow CONJECTURE, and they fail to think." (6114116) "They insist upon following conjecture, when the guidance is given to them herein from their Lord." (5323) Pray to Allah Almighty for him. As salamu alaykum.

And unfortunately all of them "nest on the same tree" defending and defining their boundaries. Exactly. So who is going to judge whom? It is power that decides. The fight is always there. The question is who is on which side? OR Who is neutral?

In the Quran, I found the terms used in three ways a mumin is asked to be mumin. 4136 O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His messenger and the Scripture which He hath revealed unto His messenger, and the Scripture which He revealed aforetime. Whoso disbelieveth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers and the Last Day, he verily hath wandered far astray. a mumin is aksed to be muslim. 2208 O ye who believe! Come, all of you, into submission (unto Him); and follow not the footsteps of the devil. Lo! he is an open enemy for you. 3102 O ye who believe! Observe your duty to Allah with right observance, and die not save as those who have surrendered (unto Him). a muslim is asked to be mumin. 4914 The wandering Arabs say We believe. Say (unto them, O Muhammad) Ye believe not, but rather say "We submit," for the faith hath not yet entered into your hearts. Yet, if ye obey Allah and His messenger, He will not withhold from you aught of (the reward of) your deeds. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. The terms ?Iman? and ?Islam? have been used in various way to denote different states of a person?s affairs and from different perspectives. I wish to add with what has been said in the article. As I understand, Iman and Islam are related to each other like seed and plant, where both the seed and the plant grows, and both interacts with each other and one affects the other. Basically, Iman is the life-world-view, the mentality, the attitude and the tendency of a person, and Islam is the pattern of behavior of the person that springs from Iman. This is from the perspective of first-person-position or the introspective method by the person, or the position of God. Iman and Islam has got other connotations which is related to the legal aspects of the community of the believers where things are judged from behaviorist point where data are processed from human-third-person-position. From this perspective, a hypocrite is also considered a mumin and a muslim if he conforms with the minimum acknowledgement of commitments to the community and the minimum levels of activities as expected by the community. The Quran?s usage of the terms encompasses all these areas.

Peace Truth, I listened to the podcast. I liked Ali Reza's interview, he seemed more down to earth, from the way he talked. As for Irshad Manji, I'm not sure if I feel sorry for her, or that I just find her annoying. She sounds pompous, and obviously she likes hearing herself talk. You can tell that she's said these things over and over again, so much so that she closed her mind to believe only that to be the way. Poor girl. I was even thinking, maybe we could invite here here for a discussion/debate and see how far she gets.http//i28.photobucket.com/albums/c236/zenje/think.gif

peace bmbmm/all, I came across an article in the New Scientist discribing Naught America and Light District Center, two new Cybersex games. My immediate thought was whether these gonna grow crazy and breed more perverts, and was wondering whether this abomination would be considered fornication? I hope this verse will help in the understanding of your query? Say The things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are SHAMEFUL DEEDS WHETHER OPEN OR SECRET; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah for which he hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge. God bless you, peace As salamu alaykum. Respectfully. I agree with agentman here. Exactly, it doesn't matter if humans see you or if you're committing a sin over the phone or in person, God sees you and that matters. As salamu alaykum.

Peace all. the following example may illustrate that 'objective' evidence is not the only criteria to show a statement/theory as being factually correct,...and that 'pure objective evidence' is not the only criteria to verify a definate truth... A person does not witness another persons thoughts, and the 'thinker' cannot objectively 'prove' his thoughts to another person 100%.....Yet i dont think there is much doubt that the fact that humans have thoughts, even though we dont personally witness them,is pretty concretely true...I think this shows that some truths are verifed somewhat subjectively and by intuition, and this is not always inferior to so-called 'objective' advice...Some objective evidences can in fact be mistaken, misleading or just part of a collective assumption... Peace all.

salam The most important lesson I have learned from such verses is "to worry and guard my own soul" and leave the rest to the lord of the day of judgment to decide. God bless you, peace Amen to that ! Same message I got from reading the Quran. More verses in relation to what you said 267 And Moses said to his people "God orders you to slaughter a heifer." They said "Do you mock us?" He said "I seek refuge with God that I not be of the ignorant ones." 7199 Take to pardoning, and order with what is good, and turn away from the ignorant ones. 2563 And the servants of the Almighty who walk on the Earth in humility and if the ignorant speak to them, they Say "Peace." 2855 And if they come across vain talk, they disregard it and Say "To us are our deeds, and to you is your deeds. Peace be upon you. We do not seek the ignorant." 233 And they abstain from vain talk. 2572 And those who do not bear false witness, and if they pass by vain talk they pass by with dignity. God bless !

peace they also ignore the fact that Quran says that it is Complete, Fully-detailed, Infallible, Perfect. They also ignore the fact that God does not run out of words They also ignore the fact That God is the teacher of the Quran. Not muhammad or his companions or the 'mullahs' They also ignore the fact That it says the exact same thing about Abraham that he is a great example to follow almost word for word. I could do this all day.....

Salaamun alaikum Sugar, I personally discussed this issue with Aidid so barring the obscuring passage of time, I hope my explanation is fairly accurate Aidid considers 'worship' to mean 'performing meaningless ritualistic acts' and feels that 'worship' has no place in deen al-islaam. Rather, he feels that we need to serve God by being good and following God's laws. Ho9w would men be able to follow God's law since their deen is not Islam. how could they do itu since Islam is not a power to implement it. Rituals is needed (QS.62/9) as a system to communicating Islam to societies.

peace all, Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve. God bless you all, peace
