salam thank you AB for your help though, I couldn't understand a lot of it, because of it being all in arabic Anyways I found a bettter one www.islamicity.com/ps/default.htm It's in English, you search by what the arabic word would sound like phonteically and it brings up each verse as well as it highlights that word in the translation AND it has the arabic text next to it as well. It's a great study tool ! For example I was wanting to find out each single verse Jinns are mentioned. I found this thanks to Wakas' website http//www.studyquran.org/

If the Quran is His message then how come you sperate the two, God is not a symbol bro I know God's not a symbol, but i don't believe that it is necessary to believe in the quran to believe in God. God, and his guidance, is not limited to that one book. God is everywhere. You are ignoring the billions of people who have never read the quran in their life yet live life according to it. How is that possible? How do people believe in one God even when they live in around people who are against Islam and whatever is associated with it. I'm sure you've met a christian, or a jew, or an athiest, who is just as good of a person as you are. This is what my example was about as well. My view is entirely based upon my own experience. One does not need the quran in order to believe in the Truth. and I am truly sorry for assuming something about you. I guess that point didn't work. But I think your believing in the quran proves my point. You found some reason to believe that the quran is the word of God. You found in it some guidance that you just knew was divine. That means there was a period in which you looked at it critically, examining it, trying to find in it some guidance. Am I right? If not, you would be the only person that believes a book is from God just because it says so. Which is impossible. We all need to understand the quran to believe in it. And I don't think I can go any further than that until the issue with 37 is resolved. Excuse me bro, this is actually another Quran challenge, because in 1400 years no one done that There are many people who do that. They say stuff (or write it down) and claim that it is true. There are many examples of that. And I bet (the $20 my mom gave me today) that there have been some people who have tried some trick to make them seem truthful. No one would take that "challenge" seriously as it is ridiculous. "My book is divine. It contains facts, and other statements that are not clear and no one can know their true meaning" Dan Brown can claim that The Da Vinci Code is divine using that method. It certainly contains some undeniable, established facts. And then there is the other "made up" stuff that he can easily claim is allegorical. And trying to figure out the meaning is futile because you will never know the answer. See what I'm getting at? Hope i'm making myself clear. For example, To me Quran is the most beautiful reading. It enlightens me every time i read it, And to me it is not contradictory at all, but i dont bother responding to those who say 'contradictions' are in the Quran. I chuckle and go on my merry way. You shall disregard them and their fabrications. 7180 To GOD belongs the most beautiful names; call upon Him therewith, and disregard those who distort His names. 7199 You shall resort to pardon, advocate tolerance, and disregard the ignorant. 2855 When they come across vain talk, they disregard it and say, "We are responsible for our deeds, and you are responsible for your deeds. Peace be upon you. peace Ahmed, The cause of controversy isn't that people are rejecting God's words, but whether they are God's words or not, and what exactly their purpose is. That is what debate is about (or at least should be about). and what was the point of your post above?

Darbariis Muhammad the only rasool of Allah mentioned in the Koran ? Koran mentions , i think , 19 prophets by name . all those prophets are also messengers . why wouldnt Allah mention Muhammad and nabi together anywhere in the Koran , if Muhammad is one of the prophets ? I believe that the content of al-quraan, its arrangement was specific. Muhammad wasn't mentioned directly as nabi but as Rasulullah (although rasulullah means nabi, as we've seen from 49/2-3) to emphasise the rasulullah aspect of the muhammadan personality. While Rasulullah and Nabi are interchangable, they highlight 2 different aspects of the same personality.

Hi LoteTree, Everything we 'see', be it outside or inside our heads, are human contructs. Not that the thing we're viewing is manufactured by us humans, but it's the very manner in which we perceive - the way we interpret our senses - that is a human contruct. Therefore, in our heads, 'god' is a human construct, though in reality, It is not. Did that make sense? Nadeem. Ah young Nadeem I missed your response. Yes I get you - that everything that we percieve is a human construct. It can't be nothing more. Therefore even "God" is a human construct though we we can't know that for sure. But this ties in with the insights of the past sages who have also stated that "God" is beyond human constructs and is unknowable through human concepts... Regards,

Dear sugar, Well, I am probably amongst the ?elders? on this site, and has left my normal working life behind. Research is most of the time tedious, ?boring?, work. What I have been involved in is mainly connected to magnetism, electricity and optics in general. It is actually a fairly wide range of fields. But the more interesting part is actually engineering. Mind you, my work was not revolutionary in any way, quite ordinary actually, but some of it contributed to new and, I like to think, better solutions. However, I would rather not go into details on an open forum, as non-disclosure agreements are relatively stringent, and I believe it would not be of much general interest anyway. Regds Ali Omar
