I certainly don?t want a discussion where we just go round in circles. Any way back to the topic. I remember last year when I asked submission.org if there are any ?God Alone? mosques in the UK and the guy emailed me with about 6, however I lost the e-mail. But a few months ago I asked submitters.org.uk which is in co-operation with submission.org they said there aint any in the UK. ??? Either those at submission.org got it wrong or they did not give the UK submitter team proper training. I don?t see the point in submitters.org.uk everything (with the exception of 2 or 3 articles) is copied and pasted from submission.org or directly links it to submission.org Peace, Sugar

Bukhari found 600,000 plus. The chain of narration contains 5-6 persons. How could he investigate 3.5 million narrators 99.9% of whom were dead and buried? And Yahya bin Moin had 1.4 million Ahadith! One doesn?t need to be a rocket scientist to gauge the chaos, forgery and fraud. Allama Muhammad Tahir Gujrati, in his famous book ?Qanoon Al-Akhbaril Maudhu?ah War Rijalud Dhu?fa? has collected the names of nearly 2,000 men who spent their lives in forging Ahadith. If one forged 1,000 the other manufactured 10.000. Maulana Ubaidullah Sindhi said, ?I cannot tell in public why I cannot teach Bukhari to a European convert.? Do not think that that only non-Muslims used to commit this crime. Numerous men like Ibn Abi Yahya in Madina, Alwaqidi in Baghdad and Maqatil bin Sulaiman in Khurasan, being on high posts such as provincial chief justices, were very much involved in this ?noble? assault on the Qur?an. Allama Ibn Jozi has compiled a long list of many ?revered Imams? of Islam participating in this deplorable assault. (Fathul pg 139) Imam ?Ubaidullah bin Ma?az said Write nothing from Qazi Abi Shaibah (Fath pg 13 Imam Abu Ja?far Al-Hashmi said Imam ?Umro bin ?Ubaid is a liar. (Fath pg 137) The first ever man to collect the names and details of (5 million!) narrators was Imam Yahya bin Mo?een. Imam Shaafi?i said He is absolutely unreliable. (Kitab fi Dhu?fa, Jaame? Mukhtasir pg 201) If Bukhari really was so carefull and that only small mistakes ended up in his books, how then can you explain this? Hazrat Ayesha narrated that the prophet (S) used to kiss his wives and had intercourse with them while he was observing Saum (Abstinence). (Bukhari pg 226, vol 1) Muhaddith Abu Daud was not to be left behind. Hazrat Ayesha said, ?The prophet used to kiss me and suck on my tongue while he was fasting.? Hazrat Ayesha was sitting at her home in Aisha bint Talhah?s company when her husband Abdullah came in and he was fasting. Hazrat Ayesha said to Abdullah, ?What is holding you back from embracing, kissing, riding and playing with your wife even though you are fasting?? (Muwatta Maalik pg 89) Ayesha said, ?When Rasoolullah desired to have intercourse with me while I menstruated, he would order me to tie a piece of cloth around my waist.? (Bukhari, The Book of Menstruation124)" no offense. but "bunch of idiots". who? you answer if you truely know god and the quran. ahora, comprendes tu sennor virtualeye porque yo no acceptir ahadith? (translation do you understand now why i reject EVERY hadith, mr. virtualeye). why don't you look at surah fil/feel according to the quran. isn't the quran alone enough? if you still say, the hadith explains the quran better than the quran explains itself, then aren't you saying those "bunch of idiots" explain the quran better than allah? i know what you are going to say! you will say, nauzubillah. surely, reject all hadith except the best hadith, the quran. know what is important for you to live by acoording to the quran.surely, it contains no contradictoin or 'nonsense'. what was the purpose for you to ask this question. do you question the authenticity of the quran? or do you simply ask whether this "bombing of the elephants" happened in history or not. to answer this question, one must look upon why is it in the "fully deailed quran"? god punishes the igorant SPIRITULLY... it serves its purpose why those band of elephant riders were punished... because they turned away/rejected GOD WHILE KNOWING...perhaps there is something to be learned from the quran and its message and why is it important. so review your question (the purpose). peace, rifat

peace sugar i have the same dillemma as you. I still read Rashad's translation knowing it has many errors, I just like the simple English (like you) But I always use logic and compare different translations to make sure this or that verse is translated correctly. The exercise I use is ignore all the footnotes, and ignore anything in parentheses unless it coincides with the context of the verse, to my understanding. I really wish people would just translate the Quran, and not put anything in the parentheses.

Plus it is all based on Quran alone, not on hearsay reports written 200 years later.......... We don't except any source outside of the Quran, as the Quran explains itself and is completly detailed. We only have to read history and science to widen our view and understanding. But we know that this information has to be proven, and not based on wishfull thinking some guys were objective in their compiling, as they were certainly not. There is a whole prayer to be found inside the Quran, detailed from A to Z. We only still are discussing some details based on language issues, not based on personal wishes as you try to claim. Nor are the living and the dead; GOD causes whomever He wills to hear. You cannot make hearers out of those in the GRAVEs. They will say, "We have been recreated from the GRAVE! If they were to be punished they wouldn't be so surprised, as all stories show they know why they are punishes when they are in the grave. 3651 And when the Trumpet is blown, behold, out of their disintegrated states unto their Lord they will run. (?Ajdaath? = Bodily remains = Graves = Disintegrated states). 3652 They will exclaim, ?Oh, woe unto us! Who has awakened us from our beds of sleep? This is what the Beneficent promised, and the Messengers spoke the truth.? ('Marqad' = Bed of sleep = Resting place. The concept of punishment in the grave is non-Qur?anic and, hence, wrong). 3653 Nothing but a single Blast, no more, and behold, before Us all of them will be presented. 3654 ?This Day no person will face the least injustice, nor will you be rewarded other than what you had been doing." The Day of Judgment comes before reward & punishment in the Hereafter. Doctor Saheb has given the best example of 3651 and 3652, which nagates the theory of Azabul Qabr. If you look in the Quran, you will find the following words, relating to Azaab, repeated several times AZAABO JAHANNAM (676) AZAABUN NAAR (2201) AZAABUN ALEEM (594) AZAABUN MUHEEN (2257) AZAABUN SHADEED (4216) AZAABUN AZEEM (3105) AZAABUN MUQEEM (1139) AZAAAN GHALEEZ (4150) AZAABIL SAEER (3121) AZAABUL HAREEQ (850) AZAABAN KABEERA (2519) ASHADDAL AZAAB (4046) However, you will not find the word ?AZAABUL QABR? in the Quran. Also there are several verses, which describe human life circle as birth, life, death, grave, rise again and day of judgment. No in between ?Azabul Qabr?. Peace be upon you Neo, Can someone give me the verse in the Qur'an where it states that there are certain parts of Qur'an which are literate and certain parts that are metaphoric? You will not find such a verse. The verse that is incorrectly alluded to is 37 which speaks of "al kitaab" (universal law) , not "al quran" (the proclamation/reading). They are not the same thing.

Peace, I read through the link and to some follow-up pages...This is no different from the jiberish found in the Jewish Torah today...I say jibberish because if you read on it goes on to say how Lot slept with his daughters, how Abraham (who was not scared of being thrown in the fire) was scared from Pharoah and told his wife to pretend she was his sister so he would not be killed...How Abraham abondons Hajar in the wilderness because of the jeolosy of Sarah...How Abraham is circumcised at age 80, etc..
