Tay is totally right, take baby steps.. ... phoenix1 you sound like me 2 years ago, (i was 16 2 years ago) i had similar questions/concerns as you, and since then i've become a lot stronger mentally (i'm still overwhelmed with knowledge when i read posts on here). And being the average western teen...i think i have passed in most tests from God, although, i admit, i have failed a lot, anyway, i think i can relate to a lot of things you coudl be going through, my msn is ''[email protected]'' if you (or anyone) wants to talk

Peace be upon you M Mehdi, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE BY THIS SISTER WHILE YOU READ THIS POST - note this is an excellent voice only spoken word piece! http//www.outrecords.com/why_you_talk_like_that.mp3 My computer did not have the proper equipmen to play this. salam brother Kyle.. since you cannot do what you say you're going to do.. insha-Allah I will help you out... by doing it for you... myself. idolfree1 wrote BUT I was never part of this discussion. idolfree1 wrote I will conclude my reminder here. idolfree1 wrote A few statements before I leave you in peace. . idolfree1 wrote I dont have any interest in contiuning this line of discussion. Peace idolfree1 wrote Peace yet you still keep posting... but alas, this is good.. Yes, dont equate speaking truth with perfect human, thats the error so many before us have made so they cant realize the Divinity within thier very persons or those who have been sent to them with wise words, but they reject because the messenger does not fit thier own criteria. But I will work on this, thanks for the resistance, hopefully I'll be able to lift you over my head soon and move on to the next exercise wink please let me illustrate this for you.. and then "I" will leave you peace on this thread... to ponder... meditate ... or continue as you wish or simply sit on your butt and do nothing ---> .... You have confused the state of peace/stillness of MIND so that we can see the God's plan, somehow with doing nothing. And on top of that providing comic relief in an attempt to ridicule me, which has nothing to do with wise debate. So I can offer you this reminder- (956) And if you asked/questioned them, they will say "But we were plunging into/engaging in conversation and we were playing/amusing ." Say "Is with/by The God and His signs, and His messenger you were mocking ?" Lets stick to the debate. You, and me are standing on a street corner at that any place ville USA, hood or whatever that you so weakly called "certian neighborhood" What is weak about saying "certain neighborhood"? D and "(pow pow pow....sirens)" place.. and you start your self-rightous speech about idolfree1 wrote Many of us(african americans) are lost and just follow any trend, even degrading ourselves with slavemaster names, calling each other the n word and the women B!+ches, etc. . and then.. i'll just take a good look at you up and down.. and say "nigga Paleeez!" .. and leave the rest (rest being your 'fear' of pow pow sirens) to Allah.. Thanks, I'm sure you looking me up and down will be effective in helping mankind. I'll stick to the cultivation of the NAFS. i live right next door to a so called 'crack hotel' and down the street from a hospital.. pow, pow and sirens don't scare me.. i have no fear of the good folks which you and the mob aka society calls lost and ignorant.. You make unlawul connections brother, I never told you to be scared of anything, but this is the only way you can continue this fruitless argument, by associating me saying it wouldnt be wise for you to talk that way around people who will hurt you for it, with fear. Same way as me saying it would be foolish to walk in front of traffic, not that you should take on the emotion FEAR, but that the car will crush your bones and flaten your head, its simple logic, nothing to do about me trying to instill "fear" in you. in short Kyle... languge and dialect is important .. we cannot burry this 'nigga' history under the earth and act as if it never happened... You are confused. Choosing to speak wisely is what I am promoting, if burying that N word/concept is a result of a society that continues to purify the Nafs and speak wisely , then so be it. I dont need that history to succeed in life, that is a crutch, an idol, and I smash all of them D black hasn't become beutiful.. it has always been beutiful.... I agree, not sure why you mentioned that though. Kyle, although i do understand your 'worries' Akuna Matata! D No worries. Just correct and wise counsel. and want to censor words and other restrictions which you and mquran want to impose Restrictions are imposed by witnessing the Divine Law, is the good response equal to the bad? Have you seen the one whose ego is his god? Universal Law makes truth evident from flsehood, but you have to wake up and SEE. .. being on one side and the other being just as i understand the taliban and the christian right in the US.. My location is the nuetral/balanced location, please do not limit me to one side or the other, I remain at peace so that I can make the right choice in each decision, not whatever apeals to a certain side. i understand more that there is no compulsion in the Religion of Allah... and how these worries create a compulsion to force or censor the population from God given freedoms such as the freedom of utterances... Giving wise counsel is not compulsion D If I was to use force I would just have erased your posts, instead I just try to point you back in the right direction. Inviting to the God is invitin to Unity, Oneness. How does "n!$$a pleez" invite to oneness? D (4133) And who (is) better (in) a word/opinion and belief than who called to The God and made/did correct/righteous deeds, and he said "That I am (E) from the peaceful (submitters to LAW)." Kyle, so much from this beutiful culture has added to the experiment which we call the USA... literture, music, thinkers, peacemakers, and most a beutifully colorful langague and dialect of mixtures... there is no need to seperate ourselves from it.. Agreed, who is saying we should? I was only pointing out some facts which related to the discussion, I can point out facts about any "group". I am not seperating myself from anyone. As you made a point to state, I referred to "US" when speaking about African Americans, so there is no seperation. I also said I am still stuck in using the word when my emotions get the best of me, so I have not given you any indication that I have seperated myself from anyone else, so where does that come from? D we don't need to run away from it... instead we can learn to embrace it and share it amongst all peoples and all colors... in hopes to Remember That histroy and definition yet difuse and release the 'shackles' which it still has on the folks who cannot even utter it.. as if it is blaspheme... because it simply isn't.. Embracing ignorance gives it life, I rather embrace Peace and wise speech which will do away with such usless words as the "N" word. So I guess we just sit and wait and see which way is successful. (assuming we are both trying to obtain the garden) i recognize, appreciate and honor the black culture within the US.. and those who are not fearful to let me share in the beuty of it all... Good, and we should share in all life. I have not said otherwise. However, do you associate calling someone the "N" word with sharing in the beauty of that culture? That is the ugly of the culture, not beauty. censorship does not.. work.. No, but wise and gentle speech does work. you can't handle blackness on any level! - why you talk like that? http//www.outrecords.com/why_you_talk_like_that.mp3 Sorry, I am not getting that, could not exectute that link. Thanks again for the workout, I will however make this the last one to you on this subject for sure. D

peace If1, Well, we have to look at the verse, it never says that teh "NABI" is not our father, it says that "muhamadun" is not the father of anyone. There is a difference and the word used was not a mistake. brother muhammad and nabi were not two different entities? bye.

Hi, I am looking for Quran in digital format which I can easily read and listen in easy English translation as well as Arabic version. Is there any sort of digital MP3 player for Quran? On my web search, I found this link; http//digitalislam.net/digitalquran.html But it is not currently available in Lahore, Pakistan where I live. Can anyone of you help me find such a digital Quran? I would be really thankful to you. Further, is there any way to get Bible in digital format just like digital Quran? If you need that device you mentioned, then you may contact enmac engineering , that is in Gulberg 7UP, near Suigas office. Regards.

Confusion is no bad thing. Please see the story of Abraham for example (675-79). The only reason traditionalists are not confused (generally speaking) is they have not studied what they follow. Furthermore, they prefer to get everything on a plate so no thought is required. No thought = no confusion. To answer your questions, this resource may help www.studyquran.co.uk And here's a little tip, whatever you hear/read/see, 1736 it. And do not follow what you have no knowledge of. Truly, the hearing, the sight and the heart - all will be questioned of this. Wakas

salam layth, you wrote Simple. Replace most of the history you have been taugh about the prophet by using Baca (Jerusalem) instead of Mecca (Arabia). The prophet is from the lineage of Abraham and was a native to Jerusalem where he was sen to to the people in answer to Abraham's prayer...Jerusalem would have been under the rule of Rome at this time and the prophet was persicuted by the towns people and then was forced to emmigrate to Yathrib to continue the message. Yathrib is a place which has never received a prophet and welcommed Mohammed with open arms... Mohammed and his people faced Jerusalem during Salat for a number of years, until the command came to 'turn away' from the city of peace (hence the Qibla change). Interesting, but not supported by any evidence? And then why towards Mecca? This supports jaxal notion who seems convinced that Ibrahim built kaaba. Surah 42. Councel 7. Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire. According to Quran it was revealed for the people who understood and spoke Arabic, were the inhabitants of Baca, Arabic speaking? And what about the tribe of Quraish? The Umayyads and the Abbasids? Not to forget the decendents of Fatima and Ali? Even though there is a lot of disagreement amongst all, none of them disagrees about prophets being born in Mecca. According to all the scholars? ch28 was revealed in Mecca, now is there a possibility that 2847 relates to the people of taif? Some have argued that Iblees was an Angel who was demoted to the rank of Jinn once he disoboyed...Others have said he was always a Jinn and God is adressing the Angels as they are the highest beings while all lower beings automatically follow/ are implied. I personally go with the 2nd understanding as being more correct. So we have a choice, either this or that? but I will also agree with the 2nd one. What's confusing? Humans were turned into apes and pigs as a punishment...Same as God causing a man to die for 100 years, or the sleepers of the cave for 309 years, or splititng the sea, or raising the dead, or...or...God is able to do all things. Yes it is our belief that Allah has the power to do all these things, He is omnipotent. Why is he not turning the transgressors into apes or pigs now? I am skeptical about the details of these verses but will discuss with you some othertime. They only achieve this by quoting Hadith or twisitng laws out of context...Quoting laws fully would never fool the people no matter how illeterate. Yes and they are very good at that. now a days they are quoting the verses of ?azaab? to describe the terrible earthquake that has devastated Kashmir and nwfp provinces of Pakistan. Most of the people are frustrated and do not agree to their interpretation that God has punished them because of their sins, its like adding insults to their injuries lots of debates going on around here on this point of view, again supported by Quranic verses and hadiths of ones own liking and interpreted to suit their own views. Take care.

Hello Oben, Long time no See and I hope youre as fine as I am.I wish you could further elaborate the words underlined. ...which is agreed upon by all the researchers. The timing of this has been worked out by brother Ayman through his own work to be the first full moon following the summer solstice. My next question is and correct me if I am wrong I understand that Ramadhan being translated as the hottest month of the year from the forum here I would tend to disagree that it should be the begnning of the first full moon when the summer soltice starts. If we look at the situation in the northern hemisphere where it all began, due to convection and reradiation of the earth surface the hottest month is definitely not the beginning of summer solstice as pointed out to you in your link. The earth surface is just warming up and this takes approximately 2 months to get up to the mean temperatue of about 45C and there after it starts to cool due to the movement of the sun south of the equator. As such that leaves doubt to your argument. Relating this phenomenon to that of our domestic sauna where normal the temperature is set at about 45C .The occupants of this health facility are recommended not to stay longer than 20 minutes due to the adverse effect of the heat beyond that stipulated duration of time.As most of the readers of this forum knowthat the Quran was sent down in the month of Ramadan and due to the heat of the region where Mohammed was I would like to think that he did his daily routine of travelling and doing his business but from the facts of history that I knew of he hybernated or meditatedor whatever the case maybe in some cooler environment like caves away from the searing heat which was where he got his revelations. In such a circumstance,It would really be ideal for one to fast because there is nothing much to do during this hot season.

Hi Sweden Majidah, My life is a mess and therefore that can be shown in my posts and replies sometimes. hope and pray all ur problems are solved by God's mercy! hope ur life is filled with happiness soon, forever! Just stay calm and peaceful ! heres some food for thought When things go wrong as they sometimes will; When the road you're trudging seems all uphill; When the funds are low, and the debts are high And you want to smile, but have to sigh; When care is pressing you down a bit- Rest if you must, but do not quit. Success is failure turned inside out; The silver tint of the clouds of doubt; And you can never tell how close you are It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit- It's when things go wrong that you must not quit.

Hi KGB, 668 And when you see those who engage (in vain talks) concerning Our Verses, then turn away from them until they engage in a talk other than that. And if Shaitaan causes you to forget, then do not sit after the remembrance with the wrongdoing people. Source emulsim.com Word for Word Translation of Qur'an I can't reject the clear verses of Qur'an. This all discussion is unproductive. when did a healthy constructive discussion become vain talk?if u name everything other than Quran, vain talk..............i honestly wont know what to say to u. anyways, peace!

Could you describe the conversion process to Judaism? I thought that it was basically a long process of learning Jewish scriptures, etc. In that case, the conversion process would indicate that one is becoming a religious Jew. Does Judaism recognize a conversion for the sake of culture? I do not think that you can escape the question of having faith in Judaism...it is both a faith and a culture. Your explanation that you want to "play in team Jew" is rather odd. I still think that it is like saying that you would like to be Black b/c of the culture...however, because Judaism is a faith(unlike being Black), there is a conversion process. And you say that you are not "converting," but that too is semantics, b/c that is exactly what you are doing...unless I have totally missed your point...Can I also ask what culture you belong to currently, and what ethnicity? I think this is one of the most interesting threads we've had in a while...barring the recent rude posts ) I have heard of such things as conversion for the sake of culture but it has never been confirmed to me. The thing is, Judaism is a culture of faith, and jews have faith in their culture and its history, so I would consider them equal. Even an atheistic jew would not generally disregard either of them. That's why the the process of conversion is pretty much studies of the scriptures AND history of philosophy and culture. Still I can't really cope with how compare being black to being jewish. The thing is, as a caucasian, I cannot convert to blackness but I can still join a culture which may be considered one of theirs, such as hip hop. In the case of the team of jews, they already have a lot of players and they are certainly not in the need for more. However, if one seriously like to play with them - he can. Still, he has to prove whatever level of devotion he posseses and that will come out during the process of conversion. Many of the peope that go through the process never reaches "beit din (the religious court)" and that's no big deal.

Peace, This thread will be locked for the time being as I believe some healthy venting has taken place and it has served its purpose...Mods will re-open this thread when there is a need or there is a disruption in the forum. Dhul had re-entered the forum under a false handle/identity due to his username and IP being previously banned; however, there was no need for him to come forth and expose his identity (which he did) and therefore his previous ban was lifted due to this act of openess. What has passed has passed and I would invite all members to begin a new page. With regards to the action to be taken in this particular case... All threads of a repetitive nature will be locked in accordance with the forum rules. All verbal abuses/insults/attacks that have been made by or against Dhul are requested to stop immediatly (with no action to be taken by the Mods). Any future attacks or issues or insults will be dealt with harshly and severely (that includes banning anyone, including Dhul).

Keep it secret ? Is this a characteristic of al-islaam, brother? God keeping things secret until a certain year. 41/43 and 46/9 tells us that nothing new was given to messengers from before. So how is it possible that something is kept secret until 1974. Khi- Salam. GOD gave a newer miracle to Moses than to those before, likewise with Jesus. Wer NOT talking about the Message here which was one and the same. Wer taslking abt the signs. GOD Bless!
