  • How Do I Find a Non-Hadith Spouse?

If a woman apposer agrees to marry you, this means that she is not completely opposing your beliefs, right? If she loves you enough she will give you all her ears and attention and it won't be long before she joins you in your beliefs. I mean that you cannot love someone enough to marry them unless you are ready to change alot of yourself (including your beliefs and convictions). Love breaks the unbreakable! You do have a point, but I would add that sometimes love only makes one tolerant. For example, there are Muslims who marry idol worshiping Hindus. It doesn't mean that the Hindu will change nor that the Muslim will change. However, it makes both sides tolerant of belief. Also, a person can love everything about their spouse except that one thing, thereby making them immovable on that issue. I know of several marriages that broke up over religion, or lack of it. Perhaps we put too much stock in emotions as opposed to the total package that a person brings to the table when discussing marriage? I should say that God does put love between two people for whatever reason, only Allah knows. So, maybe there is wisdom to interreligious marriages. In any instance, people generally do what they want anyway, so the issue is rather moot.

Hi Leyla, @peacefulmuslim When you look at the Arabic of 6/118-119 you will see that there is no word for meat, rather it talks about consuming in general. There is also, naturally, no word for slaughtering. Also, ism does not only mean name, in a broader sense it more refers to attributes (of which the descriptive names of Allah may be a good example) It also does not contain any word for pronouncing the name of Allah?. Rather the word is dhukira?, `remembering the name/attribute of Allah?. So, this verse is not about just simply pronouncing the name when slaughtering an animal. I would say it is about remembering the attribute of Allah when consuming, not forgetting that what we consume is a favour from Him and a gift and to consume with that attitude , which also means keeping His laws when consuming, not being excessive with it and being thankful. Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. It makes so much sense, and I had no clue this was what it meant, coz I have been reading english translation and they tell u something different altogether, and ofcourse everyone practices that too. But then, now I am seriously wondering, why has it been translated in english with such a different meaning? roll Not everyone knows arabic. Peace!

Well, perhaps it is because in nature all things, though indirectly, DO comeback as something else. The circle of life. Any child that has seen the "lion King" or "Brother Bear" would be able to pick that up

Hi Idolfree1, Peace be upon you PM, I apologise for interrupting. But when u write a sentence in english, U r meant to use capitals for the first letter of the first word, is it not? Yes, thats correct, but I have an endless amount of examples if you look at previous posts on this thread and others. This was just a bad example, but not an incorrect assemssment as evidenced all over this forum. Fair enough. I get what u mean. Ayat means signs does it not? Quran means recitation? But I guess, the reason for what u state is.......When we say Quran, It means a specific book containing verses from God. Though it might translate as recitation, in English, 'recitation' is a general word and has a general meaning(Not specific to God's verses) Again when we say , Ayat we mean Ayat of Quran. And 'signs', as in english also becomes a general word and can mean much more. Peace!

Peace Ahmed, The Quran in fact told us that the Salat will help us overcome this huge sin "Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up salat; surely salat keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest, and Allah knows what you do" (45) peace be with you Fasting for a day or two or even three days in a row when a crush hits is an efficient way to end it. The result is instant.

The world is like a mirage A lightning blitz A magician's flashy trick A bubble in the midst of running current The waves of ocean that come and go Like a dew under the sun Indeed world is not eternal. Not eternal is the most famous trick and lie... It whispers of true happiness yet it hides its dagger to stab you back It encourages you to go on while it mocks you when you crash and burn in agony Simply, we must get used to be 'back to eternal'... just like we are in trend of back to nature. )

I have felt emotional pain in a dream, fear-sorrow-remorse-ect., but usually any physical pain is a result of the cat walking across my chest or face or something like that. I once burned my arm on the radiator while sleeping and that became part of my dream.

Peace be upon you I am very interested in getting the message of truth out here, but to start we have to translate the arabic words and stop saying "islam" and "muslim" unless we are speaking Arabic. I am not into promotin arabic religion, only peacefulness guided by truth.

[However, very little is known abut "unconditional love". When certain Buddhists were encountered by the Muslim invaders in the East, they accepted death with smile because it was against their philosophy to even hate their enemy at the time when they were beheaded. For them this was an ultimate test of "unconditional love". So my question is, how can we, then, define such love (unconditional) which neither falls into the hedonistic/selfish nor compassionate repertoires of human nature? We may define such unconditional love quite easily (according again to foolish me)... The love that is not clouded by greed, hatred, and folly The love that is radiant, immeasurable, and unselective In buddhist proverbs it spoke of "Like a mother who will shield her only child when the danger comes", so unconditional love is like that Yet, people often assumed that the compassion we give to other people, which produced self-confidence, self-satisfaction, is 'classified' as egoistic deed. In my humble opinion, i ask if people ever analyze themselves and find that they are very difficult to escape such 'egoistic' feeling, and finally feel bad upon themselves. I say, don't be! Because it is the mechanism of mind to generate more habit to radiate compassion and eventually it rewards us in unique kind of peace (that is not clouded or mired except if you have ulterior agendas... ). ) So, have the unconditional love within our selves.

Salam Jaxal, SaLaM PM WEll i stay away from pork and everything that has pork in it. Like the other day i was looking at something to cook and i came across this joint of meat. I was like yayyyyyyyyy roast meat joint. But then i looked and it said 'with pork stuffing' . looooll So i would stay away from stuff like that. As far chocklates and all that goes and the ingredients, well... i have never even looked at the ingredients. So i may have been eating some food eith some fatty acid comming from pig . I dont think God will hold me to that becoz ithink that is stupid. No doubt every chips, ice cream, biscuit and juice has something in it that comes from that pig. But God didnt made haram for me the fatty acid or the blah blah acid . God said dont eat pork. And i dont eat pork D Khi- Yep i totally agree with you on this one. ONLY the MEAT of pigs is made haram. GOD Bless!

But we can still strive establish Islamic globalization. Salaam Sufi, No disagreement there, though I think we need to distance ourselves from that term which clearly has underlying motives than what is outwardly publicised. I believe we need to identify the differences and emphasise them in order to avoid becoming part of the illuminati inspired plot. I am not sure how or whether the islamic world is manipulated this way, but what is evident is the cabal use christianity as their veil which hides their satanist aspirations.

Peace be upon you, I take this symbolically. It is something that always happens, not some epidemic that will happen once. If we take it as some epidemic, the people 1400 years ago never saw this fulfilled so it was USELESS to them, and the God's message is never useless, none of it. The sun repersents your WILL, the day time is your consciousness, the nightime is the subconcious, the earth is man. The smoke will block out all of the heavenly bodies(lights), meaning we will be blind in regards to our will (sun), so we will just be followers and not LEADERS. The wicked will be in control while mankind will be in a fog, helpless. I see this day clearly right now. "...and darkness shall cover the earth...."

peace, If the acceptance was individual, and there is no mention of any humans not accepting the trust, then the God created us knowing full well that we would accept the trust, which means we never really had a choice. No, someone knowing something will happen does not mean there is no choice for that individual. Further, this acceptance is considered "transgressing, ignorant" in 3372, thus we were created as transgressing and ignorant. This comment is primarily in reference to the decision. The sign is in the past tense, thus "kana" would be "was", giving "truly he was thamoolan bahoolan". Unless someone can show otherwise. Also, just because one accept's 'al amana' it doesn't mean they will fail in bearing it. Wakas

Peace Anwar, Thanks for the thorough explanation. I'm still a bit dumbfounded by the concept of our committing this act of corruption prior to our Earthly existence. I'm not quite sure what the guidance is in that. I certainly need to chew on this some more, as I think this whole akalnaa shajarat thing has some far reaching meaning behind it. I do agree with the whole knowing what to do, but not doing what we know thing. Inshallah, with practice and self-awareness, it gets easier in time. peace, Tay Edited to correct typo Tay <---spelling nazi
