salam. First of all, I firmly believe in LAD. Where we differ is that I don?t think it is scientifically provable. i see. i personally think that in time , we will be able to raise the dead , just like jesus did . You wrote Logically, reviving is easier than creating for the first time . so giving life after death will be easier than giving the life for the first time Sorry if I was wasn?t clear. My response was that although this statement is ?logical? for us humans, I don?t think it applies to God, in that whether creating for the first time or reviving/reproducing for the second, third, fourth?. time doesn?t carry any notion of ?easier?, as the first creation was not ?difficult? to begin with. i was replying to your statement that I agree with Ahmed. I think belief in LAD is part of the test, and I don't think it is reasonable scientifically speaking. you were talking about what is reasonable to us , right ? i replied that it is very reasonable (not for God , He can do anything He wants, but for us). as i said before , scientists have already considered reviving the dead .

To be honest, I approach the quran as if it was a philosophy. That's the best method I know. I feel the only reason al-quraan isn't 'allowed' in the field of philosophy is that it would blow apart current philosophical trends. By the way, have you heard of Osho? I read 'sex and the superconsciousness' about 14 years ago. Its the only book of his i've read.

peace stillearning, you wrote Also each one of us needs to ask ourselves one simple question- What if a member of your family rquired an organ transplant to live would you refuse. peace mquran, On that account We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people (5/32) No, I wouldn't refuse. My answer is,No way i will refuse it either, specially in the light of 532. stillearning wrote Am I correct in assumin that we are all in agreement that organ donation/acceptance is not anti-islamic. regards Lets see, truth wrote I see no problem with it in general principle. However my personal reason for not agreeing for organ donation is that say my corneas or kidneys were donated to a person who then kills another, is cruel, or evil minded. NoProgressive wrote You shouldn't think about that. Your reward will be saving a life, whatever he or she chooses to do, that is up to them. And what is the likely hood that they will go out and kill someone? By far the good people outway the murderers. Ahmed wrote one of the prominant scholars in Egypt who dies a couple of years ago "Mohammad Mitawali El Sharawi" said the same as most scholars, in fact about 20 years ago I remember very wel when he said that on a TV interview and like hell broke, all his enemies started to attacke him that he is a lost case Correction, I forget to say that I only agree with truth first line in his comment sawtooth wrote By the same token, you may also be denying a great teacher of the people life. Playing what if's never works out. It is better to let the intent of your heart be the judging factor. A body is a body, and as long as it re-enters the circle of life, be it by dust or rebirth in a new body, the soul can be content and move on. peacefulmuslim wrote My personal opinion is that its a very noble act coz it gives people a huge chance to overcome their disability. And we are encouraged by Allah to do noble, righteous deeds and help the needy. So, I dont see how such a noble deed can be wrong. i think we all seem to agree D peace.

peace Ahmed, you wrote to be honest bro, there are some lebanease gangs and they go to the beaches and cause troubles, but there is also asian gangs and abos gangs but the midlleeastern ones was targeted by the aussie gangs, I gues due to what happened in 9/11 onwards very strange man, but the police now has taken control and blocked the whole shire, no one in, no one out it will finish soon bro, but I believe the lebaneasegangs will adamantly seek revenge soon by killing somone, then the aussies gang will respond and back again to square one peace bro too bad and i hope the labanease/asian gangs refrain from doing any thing that can cause racial tensions and create problems for all others ethnic groups who are living peacefully in australia. peace.

Don't forget the verse (don't have the refs ready at the moment) that says humankind were created from the one soul (nafs wahidah) and her wife (zaujaha).

well, i watched the video, and i have come to the conclusion that Dr. Rashad Khalifa has (or had) and IQ of 48. Some would call that mentally retarded. About the probability thing, the "zero" he was talking about wasn't even a zero. The chance of something happening might be small, but it can happen. For example, if I had the 84 cubes he was talking about. And I toss them up in the air hoping for them to land in a 1-84 combination, I can get it the very first time. Even the second, third, fourth time. In fact, I could keep getting the same combination for the rest of my life. Its very very very very very very very unlikely but its possible (the key word here is possible). He even admits during the video that evolution exists. No matter what explanation he gives after that, he admitted it. About modifying darwin's theory, every theory keeps getting modified. Nothing in science is absolute (just like that zero). There's always error, because we're human. But scientists work to reduce that error and make theories as accurate as possible. In fact, in terms of accuracy, the string theory is much farther from the truth than evolution. But people like khalifa have no problem with those theories. Also, theories are considered facts. Because they have been tested. And have evidence supporting them. You don't test a theory, you test a hypothesis that becomes a theory or law. And creationism is not even a hypothesis because its based on ignorance. ignorance of what? well, ignorance of all the evidence that shouts "evolution!" What about all the fossils all the scientists have found? All the different species of every living thing. If God just wanted to create humans, why did he create everything else? why all the different types of apples? why all the different types of humans, even? why make us so complicated? why couldn't we just run on magic instead of chemical reactions and electron transport chains? God "perfected" us. If we were as we are from the beginning, how did God perfect us? perfecting something is only possible if something isn't perfect. The whole point of evolution is for us to see all the things that are capable under God's might. Everything is possible if God wants. Even the smallest zeros can seem big if God wants. That's why evolution exists. And where's his document from outer space? I can't believe he thinks God lives somewhere in space. That's the problem with people like him. They personify God.

to distinguish something is different than to know it. to distinguish is to separate out whats there, and thats exactly what is being done to the people of 3142. That's right Wakas, it was a matter of semantics. However 'ya'alamu' comes from 'ilm' and that's 'information' and not 'distinction'. The word 'fasl' is more for distinguishment (yaumul fasl, can't seem to access openburhan but i think u know the verse).

Salam Ahmed Bahgat, I agree with you bro, Ad-Daar was never associatd to Allah directly in the Quran, in fact the word Ad-Daar does not even exist in the Quran Peace JK- Not in the definite form but otherwise it is used for satan in 5810(...wa laisa biDAARIHIM shaiyan illa biisnillah...). GOD Bless! Thanks bro you are right, I only searched for Ad-daar and Ad-dor but yes it appears on 5810 as you pronounced and it referes to satan as the one who harms, this again will add weight to our argument, as we can see the name was associated to Satan, as well these names of Allah are called "Asmaa Allah Al Hosna" and Al Hosna means "Beautiful", i.e. the beautiful names of Allah, but I see Ad-daar is not a nice name at all peace be with you mate

peace sis tahira, you wrote salam all For what its worth me and my family sent money for the earth quake victims and supplies were bought with that money and sent, but on the way before these supplies even reached their destination the trucks were robbed by men at gun point. Our families are from Rawalpindi. sorry to hear that sis, there are many similiar incidends like that specially during the first few weeks after the quake, the destruction was on such a massive scale that the government of azad kashmir was completely paralised, there was no civil administration for many weeks in kashmir, the police stations, courts, prisons and all other government buildings were destroyed in many areas of kashmir, specially muzafarabad and district bagh, the army also suffered high casualities in those areas, now things have improved because punjab government have send police and civil officers and also the kashmiri civil administration is trying to rebuilt its stucture. about 2.50 am we had another very heavy after shock today. since i am in lahore the shocks were not all that bad so I hope your family in rawalpindi is fine. i have many family members of mine living in rawalpindi but i could not talk to them so i pray and hope they are all fine. the good news is that a middle age woman was taken out from the debris alive today and could you imagine she survived for 64 days under the debris ALLAH O AKBAR. she is very weak and is under intensive care, she was trapped in a space where they stored dried bread, she was eating that and drinking rain water, but since the last fews weeks she had eaten nothing, just Amazing how she survived, specially the cold. God bless you all.

Salam Jaxal, SaLaM stillearning Loooll no brother. For real. It will be completely different than what we think of sex in this world. Johnny- Ill have to agree with you here. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with sex and i wonder why people here make a moral issue out of it while it is not. GOD prohibits free sex in this world not because it is shameful(thats just a natural warning signal for prevention in this world) but because it violates the rights of the children which will be born without any responisbility and hence indulge in violent crimes, frugs, etc as we see in the west. Also it leads to sexually transmitted diseases. In paradise, where neither child birth will take place now would sexually diseases be transmitted, i dont see any reason why sex should be something to be ashahamed of. Theres no universal moral shame rule for sex. Try to get this in your minds plzzzzzzzz. The shame we experience in this world IS A SIGNAL to prevent STDS and illegitimate child birth. GOD Bless!

Salam All, First of all sister "tahira" i must say how much i appreciate that. Thats exactly what long sighted and intelligent people would do even without knowing about the Quran. Marriage according to Quran is NOT some bells ringing in a church when the bride walks in white clothes and a great ceremony takes place. It is a legal contract between a man and a woman where they both ARE READY TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBIITY in case a child gets born after their sexual relations. GOD wants the children not to suffer coz of ones one minute sexual pleasures. Also sexual diseases are transmitted in the long run if sex is left uncontrolled. Therefore the Quran PROHIBITS taking secret lovers Today, all good food is made lawful for you. The food of the people of the scripture is lawful for you. Also, you may marry the chaste women among the believers, as well as the chaste women among the followers of previous scripture, provided you pay them their due dowries. You shall maintain chastity, not committing adultery, nor taking secret lovers. Anyone who rejects faith, all his work will be in vain, and in the Hereafter he will be with the losers. Only short sighted people would not see the damaging effects of free and uncontrolled sexual relations to the society and therefore "Lote Tree" is right, many atheists remain chaste because they are not blind and at least realize the damaging effects of such and even that of homosexuality which causes similar disasters to society in the long run. My mom nows an atheist whos against HS. Thus the answer is that long-sighted and educated people will recognize this even without the Quran while foolish, dumb, short sided and ignorant people wont. GOD Bless!

Salaamun alaikum, Al-quraan is very clear on this point By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instructionTherefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance (It is) in pages held (greatly) in honour, Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy,Written) by the hands of scribes-Honourable and Pious and Just. (80/11-16) The idea that Muhammad ibn Abdulllah would know of these ayaat and keep al-quraan on animals bones is appalling. Sadly, some of us choose to believe non-quranic information about itself, despite Allah's assertion. Whatever the case, Noprogressive's musing is clearly confirmed here.
