Salaamun alaikum, The internet can only function in certain dimensions of ad-deen. For example, we may call people to the way of our Lord and argue them (16/125). However, if you analyse the verses about al-bait and bakkah, we have things like it's a rewarding place for mankind and a safe place 2.humankind flocks to the hajj through various means because of benefits to themselves. These all happen in the physical domain. The program of ar-rasool cannot happen on the internet beyond the dimension of discussion and argumentation.

I always guard against sterotypes, so I just did not want to conclude that this ayaat is speaking to some type of deficiency of women. After all, it says the other can remind her if the one errs. So if women were naturally or consistently deficient, one could not remind the other. But, at the same time, women and men are not the same. To counter attack the Islaam detractors on this women issue, I can't pretend that men and women are the same. Now, some may still take issue and say, why can't two women be witness and no man be present? I also noticed or think I noticed that, the verbs used in that portion of the ayaat do not seem to be feminine verbs. On second look, maybe there is no feminine dual pronoun suffix in arabic. But it does say iHda which is the feminine for waHad? And tudhkkira is the feminine for yudhikkir I believe? At anyrate, this is to be understood as dealing with financial transactions. And I just noticed, all of this comes after the issue of the one owing the debit being unsound. If the one owing the debt is sound, are the other witnessess still needed? Because the scribes is putting it all in writing. Are the two men witnesses or one male and two females really acting as guardians for the unsound party to the transaction?

Do they seek for other than the diin of Allah? While all creatures in the heavens and on earth have, willing or unwilling, bowed to His Will (aslama/islam), and to Him shall they all be brought back. According to this verse islam is bowed to Hius Will, means all nature (sun, planets, moon, earth, trees, worms, birds etc) already be muslims, the creatures that have been already commiting to life accoring to what Allah order to them. Men are not likely, men life with his own idiology, even who making prayer to God, they refuse to establish life as ruled by God. They prefer to abide their own way of live, so they are not deserve to be called as muslim. They are mushollin, not muslim.

It is suprising that these survived if they are real. But that isn't a reason to doubt their authenticity. Nothing in those letters stuck out as being un-Quranic to me. It seemed the oposite infact. Especially mentioning that "we don't differentiate between the prophets part."

Peace Gold84, I would think it to be logical and personal if one is suffering from an appearence that would make it hard for him/her to go into public or to live a normal life as one should. I also think if it just for vain purposes then of course not. Weight lose is not one of the reasons in my opinion. I think this is a poor reason for surgery. This can be corrected by diet and exercise. If this person would probably move more and eat less then weight would most likely not be a factor. Some cases are genetics but most of the time it is due to poor eating habits and not enough exercise. Something such as a cleft lip or palate needs emergency attention, for the person may have trouble with eating , drinking and speech. I personally, would invite the idea of plastic surgery, if I had an accident or defect that could be corrected to make everyday more easier to deal with. I would be thankful that God has given man the intelligence and technology to change lives for the betterment of humanity. But like most things it can be misused beyond its purpose. I guess it all should depend on motives as with many other situations. Is there a hidden motive??? Good or bad? Example Why do people need big breast and buttock implants, male implants or lip enhancers? Why do people need Botox? To look younger or sexier would be my answer. Motive should give you the answer. Salam NoProgressive, No this verse is talking about BELIEVING WOMEN(muminaat) and "kufaar(unbelievers/rejectors/concealors of the truth)" who are in this context the male disbelievers. The verse says that if women who claim to be believers come from the side of disbelievers, then we should test them if theyr not hypocrites. Once we get assurance of that we are not to send them back to the disbelievers since as we know a believer is not allowed to have an idolatrous spouse as per Quran. GOD Bless!
