Salam Myr, Thanks for you information. I personally think that was the original place for the gathering for mankind (not just for muslims). According to the Quran it really does not matter where we gether, it can be Rome or Mecca, but what is really needed is to debate with mankind, rather than doing a ritual. What did millions of muslims achieved by spinning around the Black structure, kissing a stone, throwing stones to pillers, drinking holy water, slaughtering animals? Imagine if those millions of Muslims, leave alone mankind, debete about the war and the environment etc? something would have been done to save the children and women getting killed in Iraq, in Palistine etc... Dear mQuran You have made a beautiful point. I can see the symbolism here. I believe that the thoughts and beliefs of Prophet Abraham(PBUH) is model for all of us who want to follow Islam. This is the spritual and moral platform where Muslims can gather. I see it as a great blessing of my creator and a great opportunity for all of us to build consensus. I dont think Islam has a very good future. But what exactly is islam???Islam has a good futur(i believe)God system will never loose,but the people are the one who may make you think that,they practice islam,but infact they don`t.I would rather say the hypocrites,the non believers,the mushriks are the one who are going to loose.
