Peace Fusion. Perhaps you are aware that every single human has made a "covenant " with GOD prior to living this life? I believe the purpose of this life is to fulfill that "contract" and not break that covenant with GOD! A true believer in God is constantly conscious about the covenant made with God to love Him the most, serve/worship Him alone, and devote all his/her service/worship, life and death to Him alone. A true believer in God fully understands that he/she is bound by that covenant or "contract". He/she fulfills that covenant in absolute submission, truthfulness and diligence and in total adoration for God and dedication for serving Him alone, under all circumstances. Nothing, absolutely nothing, besides the clear "agreement terms" listed and detailed in Quran would tempt him/her to waver or violate that covenant with the Most Gracious. The self determination and firmness in carrying out all of God's commands, and abiding by all the "terms" of that "contract"/covenant with God are all that defines a faithful , sincere and certain believer. GOD will hold every individual accountable to the covenant. We will remember on the day of judgement. GOD has reminded us in His message and has detailed for us what we need to do. Hope you keep studying and following GOD s message. That is the most important and serious task required from us in this life. GOD bless you. Peace.

Umm, yoga has nothing to do with peace. It is actually done in preparation for meditation linked to kundalini rising/merkaba. And majority of the exercises are expressions of hindu deities. In fact, the first part of the exercise is called salutation to the sun. And occult meaning of the sun sybmol is... Mr Satan Hehe, why do we always have to agree reel? ;D

Wonder what a common person supposed to do when with a fundamental terms like "Islam" and "Muslim" there seems to be differences of opinion among those who know the language! Sharing what I just read "......The word ?al-muslimeen? is the plural of ?muslim? with the definite article ?al? preposed. The word ?muslim? is of the form muf?il and comes from the Arabic three letter root ?slm?. In Arabic the word ?salaam?/ __ (form fa?aal) means ?peace?. The words ?muslim? and ?salaam? have a straightforward relation like the relationship between other words of the form muf?il and fa?aal. Words of the form muf?il have the meaning of ?maker of fa?aal?. For example, ?salaah? means goodness and ?muslih? is the maker of goodness, ?najaah? means success and ?munjih? means the maker of success, ?fasad? means corruption and ?mufsid? is the maker of corruption, and so on. By the same token,?salaam? means peace and ?muslim? means the maker of peace, in other words it means?peacemaker?. It follows that like ?islah? means ?making good?, ?injah? means ?makingsuccess? and ?ifsad? means ?making corruption?, ?islam? means ?peacemaking?. So in2278, the common noun ?al-muslimeen? should be translated as ?the peacemakers?. Another word that is not translated by the majority of translators in 2278 and elsewhere in the Quran is the Arabic word ?allah?. As we saw in the previous chapter, like the word ?al-muslimeen? (peacemakers), the word ?allah? is a universal common noun and not the proper name of an Arab deity. The word ?allah? is essentially the contracted form of ?alilah?,which literally means ?the god?. With this understanding, let's reexamine 2278 and provide a better translation. And strive for the god his true striving. He has chosen you and has made no hardship on you in the obligation, the creed of your father Ibrahim. He (the god) named you the peacemakers previously and in this, so that the messenger will be a witness on you and you will be witnesses on humankind. ... We are told that the reason for naming the followers of the god?s message "the peacemakers" is two fold; the messenger will be a witness on them; and they will be witnesses on humankind. The definition of a witness can be summed up as one who testifies in the case of a dispute. The messenger is by definition the deliverer of the message and therefore in this capacity the message is the vehicle for communication. So what is the issue in dispute and how does delivering the message accomplish the purpose of witnessing against its own followers? The issue in dispute is mentioned right at the beginning of the passage. By pointing to the true striving for the god, it is implicit in that statement that there is false striving for the god. The message of the passage is that its followers have been described as "the Peace makers" by the god. This message will be a witness against its own followers in the dispute of what constitutes true striving ("jihad&quot for the god as opposed to false striving ("jihad&quot for the god. Thus, by virtue of their god-given description, the followers of the messenger cannot corrupt and cause destruction and shed blood and then turn around and claim that they are doing it because they are striving for the god. By describing its followers as the peacemakers, the god?s message will be a witness against them. Many evils in the world and plenty of wars and destruction have taken place by followers of all creeds in the name of striving for the god. So in turn, the peacemakers will be witnesses on humankind that testify the truth in the issue of those like Al-Qaeda who do not strive for the god the true striving and instead corrupt in the earth and shed the blood while claiming to strive for the god. The single word, ?peacemakers?, describing the true strivers for the god stands as an overwhelming witness against those who cause death and destruction while claiming to strive for the god. There are many implications to understanding "islam" as peacemaking. This is the real legacy of Abraham according to 2132 2.132. And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; "Oh my sons! The god has chosen the obligation for you, so do not die except while you are peacemakers." As 2132 indicates, the primacy of the concept of peacemaking as a god-given obligation is not a new invention but it was already very well known to the previous people since the time of Abraham. In fact, the concepts of peace, peacemaking, and peacemakers are mentioned no less than 450 times in the Bible. For example, there are several prominent mentions of peacemakers (Arabic ?muslimeen?) in the Bible??

Salam and thanks. The distinction between being and becoming is extremely valuable to understand the schisms brought about by religions which are inerpretations by men of Allah's message to them. Your post and excerpt is encouraging me to explore further this distinction, and how important it is to help being a Muslim / Peacemaker / Submitter and a Mu'min / Believer. My appreciation for now is that God is, we are, that is being. Becoming is what we do, our interpretation of being, of what is. Time is made up of becoming. Being is eternal essence. What intrigues me is the meaning of the verse where Allah says that if He wants something to be, he simply says be and it is. Which means that Allah is who can make be from ... ? ... means I cannot find a word for it, is it nothing, energy, decision, order, word... it is beyond what we can imagine.

I don't know what to say about the OP. One thing i must point out is that, atrocities of Boko Haram or ISIS are often ruled as fanatism or political and so Muslims are barely driven to reaccess their faith by these insurgents. What will best drive Muslims to research and arrive at the truth is witnessing the full practical application of Sharia law as in Saudi, Pakistan or Iran. Then many of them will awaken to reality and smell the rat. At least, this is the path that led me to Qur'an alone. The Shariah laws like Death for apostasy, prohibition of erecting Churches, extorting Jizya from Jews/Christians in return for freely practicing their faith, Pagans must embrace Islam or die and many other oppressive and unjust stuffs lead me to question my religion, my morality and luckily for me, i discovered Qur'an alone just in time to solve my issues. Otherwise, like many sunnis, i 'll still been torn apart. Of course, i didn't have to witness implementation of Sharia to learn the truth. But for those who prefer to ask deceptive or apologist Sheikh than reasearching and reading, taking Sharia to their hometown will suffice. And i mean full Sharia as detailed in hadith or tafsir books, no circumvention, no modification. Uncut Sharia like the Talibans.

I haven't seen anyone beside the one you mentioned. Orthodox Muslims never challenge us to debate. They hardly respond to our challenges too. They prefer to block or hack our websites, burn or ban our books, arrest and detain us than face us. Hence, it is rare to find such debates. But i think i watched one by between Edip Yuksel and Abu Easa during the former 's conference in Kazakhstan. It should be available on Youtube. It was much informal and unofficial to qualify a true debate but you 'll enjoy it.

Salam, you can marry anywhere, you need two witnesses and someone to conduct the ceremony. It doesn't necessarily have to be conducted by an imam, just someone with "knowledge" ie someone respectable in the areas of marriage. Marriage is between two people not their parents so acknowledgement isn't required but if one set of parents are aware and are negative about it then it would be dishonest to marry in secret. Ideally you would let the parents know. It's up to them whether they accept it or not, it isn't a requirement to marry.

Salam all, It has been a while since I participated in this site but could not help myself to share with you my comments. Sometime we can not understand the wisdom behind many incidents simply because our knowledge is Very Limited compare to God's and will always stay that way....Therefore, we need to learn when to quit trying to figure out the reason behind some incidents. Here an example of an example from Quran that teaches us how limited we are when it comes to knowing the FUTURE. 1866 Moses said to him "Can I follow you so that you will teach me from the guidance you have been taught?" 1867 He said "You will not be able to have patience with me." 1868 "And how can you be patient about that which you have not been given any news?" 1874 So they ventured forth until they came upon a youth, and he killed him. He said "Have you killed an innocent person without justice? You have done something awful!" 1875 He said "Did I not tell you that you will not be able to have patience with me?" 1876 He said "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me in your company. You will then have a reason over me." 1880 "And as for the youth, his parents were believers, so we were concerned that he would oppress them by his transgression and disbelief." 1881 "So we wanted their Lord to replace for them with one who is better than him in purity and closer to mercy."
