Salaam Bros n Sisters, Its been a long time since I posted. As a rational monotheist Muslim, I am content that I follow a religion that is most logical and superior to all other beliefs on Earth. But then there are yet questions about Islam that bother me. These are questions that pop-up when discussing religion with people of other religions. I would be grateful if all of you here could provide your own views and responses. Shukran. Here are a few queries.... We usually discuss that the Holy Quran is very scientific, logical and one will not find any nonsense within it. But then we also have verses that discuss about King Solomon's time when he 'spoke' to the hoopoe bird and heard the ant; when 'jinns' did all kinds of magical stuff in daily life. Verses talk about the bad effects of black-magic, the evil-eye etc. all of which are truly unscientific. Hindus are quick to point out such verses to show that their outlandish mythologies of demons and gods on earth are comparatively the same in this regard. On what basis can one invite a rational polytheist/ disbeliever/ pagan/ athiest to 'believe' Islam when we have to ask him to accept our unbelievable stories, so as to leave behind his own illogical beliefs? If Islam is the true word of God, why is there so much chaos, suffering and hatred in the Muslim world? If we explain that this is because average Muslims do not follow the real word of God from the Quran, then the Christian asks, why then did God reveal the Quran, if people ultimately did not follow it? What is the utility of the revelation when it is not used for society's benefits? Why is it that the world's most peaceful, techonologically advanced and democratic countries that give human freedoms are all nations that DO NOT follow the message of Islam? For whose benefit was the "final message" of the Quran revealed? For just a few individuals here and there who call themselves monotheists? What is the need for the message, when mankind is always attaining its ethical and moral goals through other sources? We say the Bible is not truly the word of God, but contains conflicting messages. How is it that the adherents of the Bible, even today are the most blessed of all people,the most charitable and the most powerful? They have established schools, hospitals and orphanages across the world, with countless priests and nuns having dedicated their lives for the welfare of the needy. How many Muslims organisations are doing half of this work? Something as basic as marriage..if it is allowed by God to have up to 4 wives for men, (assuming that one can be just and fair to each wife) why is it that the Prophet of Islam had upto 9 wives at the same time? Isn't the very messenger, breaking the message he preached? Isn't that hypocrisy? Any answers to these queries would really make life a lot easier.. Thank you so much for your time! You have to know that, for example in legal system we have what we call primary evidence and secondary evidence. If you make a claim like? ?we also have verses that discuss about King Solomon's time when he 'spoke' to the hoopoe bird and heard the ant?, then you want to deal with the secondary evidence, disregarding the primary one, which is completely illogical. Consequently, once you have come with such a claim, it becomes up to you to first disprove the primary evidence (unless it is not available), which is the Qur?an. One is not in a position to respond to a claim which is based on something no more than convenient for the one making statement. Once we?ve answered the first question, then the second is actually of no use. But once again, wherever you come with a claim, you have to make sure, that you are actually based on something. For example, ?why are there so much chaos, suffering and hatred in the Muslim world? how do you define ?Muslim World?? Government?s self-declaration of ruling under religious law, the establishment of an official state religion, or more than 50 percent of the population practicing, or claiming to belong to, a particular religion, etc. ? Suffering due to what? And many other questions. You see, once the question is addressed one can begin to claim empirically whether, for example, Islam deters or enhances social and economic development. So once again, it?s your turn to prove your claims in the first place. It concerns every single one of your questions, for which you haven?t given evidences. These all claims are for you to prove, before we can have a serious conversation, based on evidence. If a person is claiming to be rational and logical, then he ought to follow the laws of logic, and one could get the discussion further, unless he is based on speculations. Once again, what is your premise? You have to disprove the Quran is from God for us to proceed with that statement. I hope that it gave you an idea of how to deal with all these questions on a rational level, and showed you how speculative are the claims you made without any prove. Every assimilated person looks forward to the day they die, so better live spiritually and let ourselves die if we contract a disease if this is the Rabb's will than pervert ourselves in the flesh. HumdAllah. We have to stop thinking fleshly. Allah speaks of spiritual affinity and not of flesh or concretely. The whole universe is Allah's design in flesh and it will all be over in a flash; and about the flesh - these creations are there as visible to or invisible to man's naked knowledge; mann is placed as the highest manifestations of such creations in flesh, with a fixed life term in the fleshy universal habitat. The philosophies, concepts, ideas, theses and facts and figures are born out of this fleshy brainstorming think-tanks. You are right, we should stop this fleshy thinking. I fully endorse it. The mann, the mind of man must cleave asunder the universal atmosphere and shall enter the space, from where the entire universe is created, to explore the creative powers where only Allah is our Guide, Enricher, Provider. Though the mann is living within this fleshy universe on the earth below the seven firmaments, he is bound to gain his liveliness from the spaciousness of God endowed Creative Powers of the Space, beyond universes. And the other fleshy creation on par with the men is that who is invisible to man's sight, the creation of Jinn. And they too have the brute fleshy powers like the brain of men. Of the two, man has more subtle, yet most powerfully enlivening mind created by God to have their say over the universal nature, if only the mann uses the God given wisdom, his mind, to gain superiority over the brainstorm. Our whole life shall involve in disgracing the fleshy knowledge of the brain, and in enriching the mind to cross the seven heavens to enter the spacious life in space. Our fleshy body shall remain in the world while our minds individually explore the heavens for the splendorous life of its flesh on the earth as a Sign unto the mankind. In this way we shall lead a life of honour and dignity in this world and in the world next with flesh and mind together with mind ever gaining mastery, by the leave of Allah. Have you not heard of latest news reports of people who wake up in the grave or when they have declared someone as clinically dead in hospitals and they wake up after their heart has been silent for a long time. These are clear signs from Allah, but people still doubt about Allah, why? Hospitals are ghost infested grave yard structures. People and patients dread to go there and they are dead alive in it. The ebola scare they spread with such orchestration around the world is dead and gone with the wind already; this is God's grace that the spread of another ghost disease is decimated. salam

I saw a dream or it is more likely a nightmare that I feel and am pretty sure my eyes were wide open and i could see my wife sleeping next to me on the other end of the bed. I see in my dream, that I am talking to my wife and kids in the same room and then I open the window, and the street looks the same but there is some thing terribly wrong. I have this feeling that this is not my actual family and that am not in my home but another place and at that time it occurred to me that am dead and that i left my physical world and am now as a soul and the people around me are just to make me feel better but the real physical people (wife and kids) are in the actual room where i still would be sleeping dead and that my family would soon realize that i have died. At that moment i felt so strange and helpless that will i continue to go in this infinite dream life wandering here and there as a soul and meeting people that i knew in real life... is death really means that am in an endless dream... but i could feel so strong that i some how want to break away from this world and go back to my real life. At that moment i prayed to God and begged to give me one chance to go back to my real life and that i be good or better and do this and that etc etc. I kept doing it and suddenly my eyes(which were open and which were able to SENSE all this time that am also in the bed lying next to wife) suddenly blinks and i can feel an immediate some thing came into my body and i feel am now bck in my self. I then verify again and see wife sleeping. I woke up (was already as my eyes were open). stood up and wanted to realize what actually just happened. I went to the other side of bed and tried to wake up my wife softly, after some time she opened her eyes and was about to scream, what the hell am doing standing in this our. I said i had a dream and i was like dead and as i was about to tell more, she said, can we please talk about it the morning and i shud go back to sleep, kids have to go to school tomorrow and i have to wake up etc etc. I was sad and then i went to the other side of room, sat on the sofa and started to just imagine what has happened. After some time she realized and came and asked me what actually happened, i told her every thing and she said that it was a nightmare and nothing to worry about. She asked me what did i take before going to bed (as i was a bit sick with a bit of sore throat). I said I took 5 tablets of calcium and vitamin C at one as I felt so thirsty and i wanted miranda flavor drink. There are extreme situations of suffering which I find ruthless and too daring to judge when one is not in it. From the outside we may think and speculate as much as we want, but we do not know. We are not the ones undergoing it. God tells as in an aya to ask Him not to burden us beyond our capacity, but however we ask, He may want to do just that or what is burden beyond our capacity? Is the limit set by our capacity to not commit suicide? We are all horrified by the sufferings inficted by criminals and torturers and at some time we stop looking or reading about those things because we cannot bear it. However the people we were undergoing that could not stop being in it, like we can stop thinking or reading about it. I really cannot say that somebody who wants suicide under a extreme situation has failed a test. To the best of my ability I do not think I would ever be able to say that. I am sure God is not unjust and in would not on top of it punish that person, but would be rahim and wadud to the sufferer of so much pain. I think that imagination in those cases does not give a clue to justice. I have certain misgivings as to make it legal, because of the abuses it might give cover to. However, without being legal I am sure it is being done because people prefer the risk of being discovered rather than see the suffering of somebody they ay love. Also it is done due to greed to people who might not want to commit suicide, but of course that comes under the common crimes. I think any laws on that kind of thing should be aimed at not punishing people for things we have no power over them or which escape our capacity to judge with justice and at the same time prevent abuse of any gap that might be left. Although even so, we know it perfectly, it is not laws that avoid crime but abiding by them what does it. The world is full of laws in many places which are very good, but which are not throughly applied, because people disregard them and there is no abiity or will to enforce them and they are useless. I do not think this domain of life and death should be made a matter of right or wrong, but rather acknowledge our own limits as humans and see that these extreme cases are not used to cover other cases that may be clear willful interested crimes. We are not God nor gods, and I feel that there are things with which God reminds us of our limits when disposing of things and living beings, we are doomed to knot know and have to act on best intentions. You have conveniently and subtly changed your position after I cornered you. Nope. You can substitute unseen with future if you wish, my argument is still the same Prophet Muhammad did not know the unseen/future. He, like anyone of us who has access to The Quran, has been TOLD about the unseen/future. He, like any one of us, do not KNOW it of our own selves. We are reliant upon God for this information. The occurrence of the Day of Judgment is an event that shall occur in the future. The fact that it shall occur some time in the future excludes it from being something that is Ghayb (Unseen). No it doesn't. Even if some event will definitely occur in the future it still remains unseen. Put simply you haven't literally seen (i.e. witnessed) the future, ergo, unseen. You have not qualified your absurd and ridiculous assertion by saying "The Prophet (peace be upon him) has only partial knowledge of what shall occur in the future". And so have we (as you pointed out earlier with your 'Day of Judgement' example). Thanks for showing that prophet Muhammad, in this regard, is like anyone else who has access to The Quran. ;D (And that was the point of my thread. But if you don't believe in them you will go to hell. My question was believing as in blue, do we need to believe like this if we believe in Allah alone? Or believing in Allah alone is enough. It is hard not to believe in something which you have witnessed. If a messenger comes to me with a message from Allah, I will believe in both in Allah and in the messenger, how is it even possible to deny the messenger if you believe in his message? Would be strange to say "Yo messenger I totally belief in every word you had with you but I don't believe in you, I believe in Allah alone". Should we belief in things we have not witnessed? That's a more difficult question. I do not believe in angels like in the movies but I believe in malaikats, I do not know exactly what they are or who they are are but I believe in a book which mentions to my idea some creatures called malaikats so I do believe in them even without knowing exactly what or who they are. Every good comes from Allah and every bad results from what our own hands have wrought. Allah loves those who put their trust in Him; and who fears taking up the responsibilities upon himself for any goodly rewards. The burden is what we have accumulated on our heads and on our shoulders as our responsibilities with pride, without entrusting them with Allah, The All Knowing, Wise. The Arab Spring is utter nonsense, in fact, it is the cause of destruction for the Arabs. Look at our beautiful Saudi Arabia which has been saved by Allah from the current crises and corruption that has swept most of the Arab world. That is because there was no "Arab Spring" in Saudi Arabia, Alhamdulillah for that! The Arab spring has effected the following countries 1. Tunisia 2. Egypt 3. Libya 4. Yemen 5. Bahrain 6. Syria All six of these countries are experiencing the worst turmoil. Syria in particular is in the midst of an appalling civil war. Monarchy is in fact the best form of government (and the only viable form of government mentioned in the Qur'an BTW) Democracy is destroying the Arab world and even a lot of the non-Arab Muslim countries. Pakistan is a perfect example. On the other hand, countries like Saudi, Oman, Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait are the most secure and peaceful places in the entire Muslim world. This is the blessing of Monarchy and Kingdom. The Qur'an commands us to obey Allah, obey His Messenger (which is why we follow Sunnah and Hadith), and those who are in a position of authority. That primarily means the government. Obedience to the government is like an article of faith from the Islamic perspective. Uprising, revolutions, and the like are doomed to failure and invoke the Anger of Allah (Blessed and Most High)

Regardless if she believes it's jinn or not, will need psychiatric help to figure out the point of origin. I'm not a professional but spent most of my years growing up figuring out and where possible fixing people's problems. If she's given up on everything else and she's tried everything everyone here has suggested and she's not prepared (or can't afford, Depending on country) psychiatric help then I'm open to talking to her and try and find the root of the problem. Ultimately advancement only goes as far as one is willing to pay, most scientists in the modern world fulfill private sector needs and conditions, and are paid by such. Its also why most have the end stage of reaching a material product to be sold for profit. Private sector research has its benefits, and probably faster than state sponsored, but fails sometimes in its moral responsibilities. To be fair, most athletes as well only get a portion of their salary by government grants, the vast majority is from advertisement contracts, and few athletes are able to compete at professional level without both.

However, I was a person with faith in "God", before I begun to test "Islam" in 2010, without adhering to any 'organized religion'. I consider that I left this delusion in 2013, about three years later, fooled for three years although with suspicions. I didn't see world religions as fully irrelevant, for you know we are already told that all of them came from the same lord, but then got messed up. This notion has bothered me since the first time I read it, as to me, this seems like an unfair selection process that his little to do with humanity's so-called free-will. In addition, it actually contradicts the very idea of free-will at face value. Looking forward to any thoughts on the topic. I began feeling suspicious about the site ever since Ismelled negativity in all articles. Later I found them inserting foreign words within verses. Now they use those Quran translation sites and put links back to them. However, they avoid Sahih internation. WikiIslam Debunked The site was started by Ali Sina, the Iranian ex Muslim (propaganda ). However, it looks like Ali Sina is a made up name for a group of fake ex Muslims. They call themselves atheists and human rights activists, but strangely, here and there, the character speaks of how Muslims should be in hell. Point to note, atheists don't believe in afterlife, heaven and hell. Human rights activists don't speak of nuking other humans. But just like feminism, the entire human rights movement has been polluted by fake activists. I went to research more on this character. I come to conclusion that the men behind this character are terrorists. I have personally viewed his website which is full of insults, foul language, spread of hatred, hundreds which go against the Human Rights Act which is constantly used to discredit and abuse Muslims but when quoted to protect them it is viewed as a bad representation of the Act, many knowledgeable individuals debated him and disproved countless allegations raised by Mr. Sina and his followers and yet his website remains open. Was he really a Muslim? Are any of his followers who utilise muslim names and e-mail addresses really muslims? - See our page for How to identify a Muslim Does he really have Arabic knowlege or does he browse other sites written by Muslims and copy the same information? Does he have any real proof or does he base his allegations on word games, twisting the Arabic language to suit his needs and mostly culture which has nothing to do with Islam as the religion? The challenge is obviously just a way to catch peoples attention and is NOT intended to prove anything. Mr. Sina's credibility is always questioned as despite his fabrications he will NOT debate anyone in public, his apologetic excuse for it is that Muslims have a history of terrorism and could easily get to him. We will analyze articles on his site and study his and others various comments in order to deface this cunning person who seeks to deceipt all who are knowlegeable. Frankly he can keep his money as he will be able to enjoy his temporary journey in this life which spans around 60-100 years per average person. Ali Sina's site is obviously a very convincing one, for anyone who has no knowledge or doesn't do his research correctly would fall into his well presented trap.
