Well, I've read a post back in 04 that the hadith is wrong since it made the generalization that "one wing had the disease and the other had the cure" which is false by all means... And that was some random quoting yfn123 hmm Anyway..I posted this earlier in the thread. It encompasses the first numeral (1) and the last numeral (9), as if to proclaim God's attribute in 573 as the "Alpha and the Omega". -M

Welcome to the forum. Very nice topic you have posted. I was introduced to monotheism through the 19 miracle in Al-Quran (I believe the last two verses of chapter 9 are part of Al-Quran). I agree what Wakas says in terms of not concentrating on the 19 but the One God and studying the scripture which this forum is an excellent place to do so. PEACE

Peace I would not waste my time researching RK , there isn't enough time in the day for that , I'd rather spent all my spare time learning the Qur'an or read other books . Anyway , what's RK got to do with " The Real Islam " ? Peace almarh0m Peace, Respectfully. I agree. But we must all come to the agreement we all obey and follow The Quran. We must stay United. We must not allow satan to create a division amongst us. A friend of mine has invited me and other who believe like me, to a round table and he would like to discuss these hadith with us because he also believes that The Quran is complete and fully detailed but wants to clean Islam from corrupted hadith. He told me that before he meets with us, he'd like to see a unity amongst us, Muslims, people who follow JUST The Quran. Possible? Peace.

january 28, 2009 my life began. i reverted to islam. took the name ayesha. at 27 it was the best choice of my life. after recited the shahada i cried, not out of sadness but the immense love i felt from allah! the warmth and glory in my heart was almost to much to bear. i have since endured much ridicule and verbal slander from being a white muslim in america. but take these as a blessing instead of a curse. i fear only allah. i trust in allah alone to protect me. he has lead me home and he alone will lead continued straight. that's about it thanks for the listen peace -ayesha welcome & Good luck

These are 2 of numerous hadiths. There are also ones telling you where you can or cannot face while being on the toilet! Man's religion, in disguise of God's religion. Plain and simple.

Munzir Ali Thank you my brother, I actually enjoyed typing it! Peace the seeker Thank you my brother, very nice sig! Diem Brother that is exactly what pisses me off about the so called Islam practised today. We used to rule the known world and were the most technologically advanced and civilised people when most Europe was still running scared of its own shadow and praying to sun gods. Why is it that they (i.e. the Sunnis/Shias) are now the most backwards and impoverished people on this Earth? It is because they have turned away from the mercy God bestowed upon us. Instead they choose to follow a man from the 7th century, therefore forever dooming themselves to be stuck in that time. Quran/God's Word is contemporary and will ALWAYS be relevant and revolutionary, something that NO man can match no matter how pious or good he be.

my wife who does know much about Islam has threatened to divorce me if I convert. Your wife is very understandable. Any sane person with decent knowledge of Traditional Islam wont wanna have anything to do with it. It is dangerous and even more so to women. So be understanding of your wife. As for your shahada question, submitting to God is a mental state. It has nothing to do with signing up to be a Muslim at a mosque and receiving a membership certificate to prove your Muslimness.

Abrahamic faith is one. But we must remove the 3 s's by the s. That is, sionism, son, and sunnah. AMAZING QUOTE. WELL SAID.

Hi, Thanks for your response, and iam not offended at all.Actually what i feel is we cant say why we fall in love, how we chose a person,it just happens, and then becomes our weakness.I might have got a better Hindu man for sure but i felt i will be very happy in the company of a perosn whom i love.By the way except in the matters of relegion he is quite a nice person, very very caring. But when he is angry its like he cant control himself, but i think love is all about tolerating a person even when he is at his worst....... ) Yes we cannot choose love. It just happens. All Im saying is that culture and finance can become fatal factors for love if you know what I mean. Lets face it in reality love alone isnt enough. We have to make a choice in life. If you are happy with your choice then so be it.

Hello Everyone My name is "Paul". I became a part of discovering Authentic Islam through Free-Minds Network not too long ago. When I first heard about Islam, I was in a high-school global history class as 15-16 year old youth. I made up my mind that I wanted to become a Muslim. With much opposition from my deeply religious Christian family members, the only one who bought me a copy of the Quran was my mother, who valued what I found in the Quran and my Pediatric Hep. C Liver Specialist was Egyptian and Muslim himself at this time in my life as a teenager, when I was on chemotherapy injections to fight what was known as the worst case scenario of Hep. C Virus. So, we used to talk about Islam and I asked him about the rituals, the Sacred Holy Cities Mecca & Madinah Al-Muwarrah, Egyptian Muslim Culture, and the Quran itself. I learned so much, despite the daily physical torture my step-father put me through at the time and threatened to have me arrested for disobeying his controlling orders not to convert to Islam and I would be killed by people in our local area. After I graduated from High School in June 2002...I moved away to a more populated town away from the rural areas where my folks lived. About 4 months after I turned 21 years old in October 2004, I took the step and officially reverted to Traditional Islam. Prayed the 5 daily prayers, kept Halal in diet and relationships, read Quran daily without fail, fasted when health permitted me to during Ramadan, celebrated the Eid Feasts, and went to the mosque once a month on a Saturday night in a neighboring city to enjoy some potluck dinners with Muslims. Life was fine and good, yet I realized how much empty I was inside. At the time, I haven't realized the treasures and gems of Authentic Islam to cultivate within my heartbroken soul. After some time, I fell into old behaviors and worshipped other gods than AllahSWT. For about a year or two on and off, I was a Hare Krishna devotee through ISKCON. (Yet, I chose not to become an "initiated" devotee, due to the hope of something of a better and higher taste of spiritual bliss, which I would later reclaim as a Muslim once again.) Through all the religiosities of deep confusion and intense distress of my soul in the fall of 2008, I pulled out my prayer rug, sat on my knees, lifted my hands upward toward the heavens, crying for the idolater that I have become to ask Allah to forgive me and restore me back to my spiritual "purity", "joyfulness" and complete "innocence" I felt when I first became a part of the Muslim faith when I was 21 years old way back in October of 2004. Now in the mid-Winter of 2008-09, I was 25 years old and on my knees as much as I possibly could to seek the face of God, yet I didn't realize right then the changes taking place in my soul, which was battered by false hopes in gods I who could speak, let alone transform my badly damaged soul. So, I started "talking" with AllahSWT vocally in voice or mentally in ym mind wherever I would be or happen to go in my wintertime walks and places I would travel with friends, family, or loved ones anywhere. Some people in my town thought there was something wrong with me, like having delusions or auditory and visual hallucinations, yet this wasn't the case at all like they thought of me as experiencing. I just was talking with AllahSWT and I didn't care what others thought of or looked at about me. In fact, I still "talk" with AllahSWT and as the Prophets Abraham, Moses, David, Dhul-Al-Qarayn, Dhul Al-Khifl, Hud, Yunus, Jesus and Muhammad (peace and may Allah's blessings be upon them all), I still experience the physical sensations of angels and jinn all around me, when I feel either of their presences. Yet, I feel the Ultimate Presence of AllahSWT, as a Heavenly Parent and Mercifully Loving Monarch in my life nowadays. I do believe Hadith is true, yet such is always open to interpretation as the Quran is by all people...NOT just the scholars within their religious universities and mosques. Prayer to me, is not blind rituals as the Traditional Salat has become over the past 1,400 years since the Prophet's (SAW) passing in 632 CE/10 AH. I read my Yusuf Ali Deluxe Hardcover Holy Quran. Still have doubts about the divinity of the Holy Quran and still doubt some about Life after Death, but I don't doubt the Last Day and the Judgement of Humankind by AllahSWT. Yet, in time, I shall be fully and spiritually restored in my life as a Muslim. Free-Minds is a beginning start of the spiritual recovery process, although I am half-way there to full restoration, by my choice to surrender to My Creator and Sustainer, AllahSWT. So, I am writing a book full of journal entries about my spiritual recovery and restoration in my Islamic faith in all its entirety Quran, Hadith, Sunnah, with new perspectives on worship, congregational and private, with studying the Halal-Haram issues of Muslim Life. This book I am writing in my handwritten manuscript in preparation to type up is titled, "Journeyman of Faith". Truly, I am a "journeyman", a Sufi Muslim by traditional religious Islamic standards. This is my story of my "Journey To Islam". Be blessed by AllahSWT. Post some messages later. Asalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatuh Allahi wa barakatuh everyone, Jazak Allah khayr for your responses! I really appreciate them, I'm in a better mood today and feel more optimistic, 5am doldrums stink! & LOL. I hope to post more and read a lot on here and learn insha'Allah. I might be kind of busy this week, a man I know is coming from NJ to see me because we are thinking of marrying, it is our first time meeting and we are both so excited. He is originally from Chad, Africa....hope he likes pale white Minnesota women like me, LOL....he's seen my picture so I don't think I will shock him to much. yay If things continue to go well with us then he will move here in the summer and we will marry then. Only Allah knows and I am comfortable with that. pr Masalaam, Mehgan Beware of culture shock. Unless he grew up in USA you need to make sure you know what he expects from you as a wife and he knows what you expect from him. Its a fact that most intercultural marriages dont work.

Let us build the mosque/masjid/temple/church in our heart. After tsunami I just happened to visit some places along the seashore where GOD demonstrated how temple/mosques and churches were devastated at a command of 180 degrees of 60 feet wave. Oh lord You are the supreme. All things happen at your command. Moments before they are praying GOD not from the heart instead they prayed from buildings madeup of cement concrete structures called temple/mosques and churches. So call GOD at this moment from your Heart with peace and purity where we need GOD every moment of breathe. We are designed to remeber GOD every moment knowing or unknowingly. Are we not afraid of GOD while writing this mail or reading this mail nothing will happen. Our earth will not open swallow us? Let us pray GOD.. !!Oh Lord bless us with inner fear and not forget to remember and say thanks to you for now and here after and after judgment day and forever. Wherever your name is misused you will wait for patience if there is any chance the society will set in right path otherwise you give a shake atleast not a shake off and never there is hand shake. Those who stopped your blessings welcomed the earthquakes. Those who shouted like amplified donkies thinking that they are calling GOD but actually welcomed earthquakes. So where is the GOD now. GOD is inside our Heart(mind) commanding through Soul the Master accountant. Oh Lord strengthen me with inner fear and strengthen my masjid/mosque/temple/church with your belief/blessing/peace and purity GOD is unseen so my Masjid\Mosque\temple\church is. GOD is silent so my prayer inside Masjid\Mosque\temple\church is silent. So follow GOD and not Dogs. Our society is staunchly foolishly following dogs and calling Dogs with beautiful names where scolding wife, husband, son and daughter as Dog. Our socity is running with Dogs. Its Dog nature to run here and there and so the man ie carried off by Dog instead of GOD.Whose mistake is this?. Its Dog mistake no. Dog is living fulfilled life with wagging tail and hanging tongue. Both never fail to stop functioning and as a nature we failed to stop functioning. Man has become worst than animals. Such a beautiful universe where million stars born and die at this moment mail is being written and we are building temple/mosque and churches in this small pale blue dot like planet thinking that we are buliding hosue for HIM. Man knowledge is filthy and GODs wisdom is ... Even Slumdog Millionaire is a superhit as it has dog in it. See how satan has intelligently fooled us. Let us not fall prey to Dogs and Satans and let us pray God ! OH Lord you restore us with original beauty the very first you created the eart with greenary, smell, deers, waterfalls, fruits whatever that gives coolness to the heart. We dont want to pay money for anything. The money life is monkey life. Dont seek how but Let us Pray and have Belief and faith in it. Love Jango That was a wonderful post! Praise to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
