Peace all I posted my query to know if we really have a basis for making the "counts" as those who espouse Code 19 want us to believe. I am on my own journey to understand whether there is or there is not a basis for Code 19. Even before I start joining the "counting" bandwagon, I need to verify, among others, these three claims Rashad Khalifa is the messenger of the covenant based on 381. The "it" in 7430 refers to a sign concerning the quran, and consequently to the code 19. The numbers (or symbols, whichever is applicable) of the chapters and verses were part of the revelation to Muhammad (please refer back to my inquiries). If these three basic claims are not satisfied, then I really don't need to proceed with the counting as the counting has no basis to start with. May God forgive me if I'm wrong, but my study has so far showed me that Rashad Khalifa is not the messenger of the covenant mentioned in 381. How can he confirm/authenticate what the prophets have and in turn they will acknowledge and support him? The same situation will arise even if the interpretation of 381 would be a messenger for every prophet. Further, no matter how you read 7430 it always points back to saqar and the 19 angels guarding over it, and that the number or the count of 19 is not an ayat or sign but a fitna or a test/trial. So what is the basis of code 19 from this verse? Now, I'm not really sure about the chapter or verse numbers, especially on whether they form part of the revelation to Muhammad or that they were later introduced into the quran for easy referencing. I'd like to ask the brothers and the sisters here who can recite the quran from memory. When you recite the quran do you think of the chapter and verse number(s) or do you just flow from one verse to another unmindful of these numbers? If the chapter and verse numbers are not needed in the RECITATION of the quran, then it could really have been introduced FOR EASY READING. In this case, counting 19s has no basis to start with. The problem now is that this post/inquiry has been hijacked by conversations on the "counting" itself, so I expect this post to die a natural death. Please reveiew the story of Adam from ourbeacon.com. from 230 onwards. It is a very sensible rendition. Few Ayat are copied here for relevant reference. 235We told the early humans, Adam and his wife (men and women), ?O Mankind! Reside in this land which is Paradise and partake the fruit thereof as you please. But do not go near this branching Tree (of Selfishness). However, in order to understand the exact meaning, a linguistic analysis of the words, letter by letter, using all the grammar books and lexical books and tools will be needed. So far we only have renditions and interpretations, and various belief stories from multiple sources, and thus the confusion. I see sense in making people compensate the families of victims of accidental killing and not punish them any further, but shouldn't the punishment for involuntary manslaughter be a bit harsher? I think that people who kill other people unintentionally, but while doing something really dangerous like drunk driving should be punished more severely than just be forced to compensate the families of their victims.

Typically known as "it wasn't me" realization, and what you did, was not good.. I think promiscuous and gay people experience this quite a bit. Human is a creation of a combination of physical and meta-physical force. In other words he is a blend of body and mind. He cannot drift away from each other - either exclusively in the way of mind or the body. Between the two the mind shall be superior having absolute control over the body, the material and matters over those in the earth, in the heavens and in the matters in between. If the man drops from his mind he is lost; he descends to the lowest of the low, when the body gains control over him, making him fall to sickness mentally and physically thus allowing upon himself the pain and strain of his life; and so also the fury of all nature around him. Every organ and sense are special organs and senses. Eyes just do not see but senses and registers its action; likewise the ears registers what it hears and the skin registers all that it feels and enjoys. On the day of judgment the mouth and tongue will not move; but the skin and the eyes and ears speak of what you used to do during your life on the earth. It is like being an animal - since animals do not talk but react only with body language. On that day we know the languages of all creatures and creations. If you know this much I am sure you would know the case of as well. Furthermore, if you read the link page from Lane, it really no where indicates that jezm to sukuun is like nasb to fatha. Of course Lane will not say that. He expects his audience to know the basics, and this is a basic. If you understand the relation between sukuun and jazm, you do not need Lane or any other scholar to point to you that it's analogic to the relation of nasb to fatha. Only your teacher will do your homework ;D

I believe it was rejecting the idea of a guy that can't speak arabic, teaching Muhammad about religious material, when the only language muhammad knew was probably arabic Lanes dictionary; aAAjamiyyun = A foreigner though he may be chaste or correct in (the Arabic) speech. Does it necessarily mean foreigners can't speak pure Arabic or arn't as competant? The Qorayshites alleged that Mohammad had learned the words of the Koran from Jabr, who was a foreigner. The answer is given in verse 105 of sura 16 (on-Nalh) "And We know that they say, "It is only a human who is teaching him." The speech of the person at whom they hint is outlandish whereas this is clear Arabic speech." Khadijah, Waraqa and Ubydallah et. al. The Sirah (biography) of Muhammad does not mention about the religion of Khadijah, Muhammad?s first wife. However, it is difficult to believe that Khadijah was a 100% polytheist. She was probably deeply influenced by his cousin brother Waraqa, who, as mentioned before, was first a Jew, then converted to Christianity. He became a devout Christian and reportedly translated the Gospel in Arabic. His profound knowledge and understanding of the mainstream Christinity, as well as Judaism, must have had profound influence on Khadijah and Muhammad. Volume 4, Book 55, Number 605 Narrated 'Aisha The Prophet returned to Khadija while his heart was beating rapidly. She took him to Waraqa bin Naufal who was a Christian convert and used to read the Gospels in Arabic Waraqa asked (the Prophet), "What do you see?" When he told him, Waraqa said, "That is the same angel whom Allah sent to the Prophet) Moses. Should I live till you receive the Divine Message, I will support you strongly." Peace Simple and Roshan, In the beginning of verse 2.282 the addressee are ?mu?minun? male and female. The barrower can be a woman or man, the lender can be a woman or man, the scribe can be a woman or man, the witnesses who are rijal/breadwinners can be women or men, the witnesses who are nisaa?/(imra?atan)/(two dependents) can be males or females. The dependants are those who depend others in their living. These can be boys and girls who are not mature yet. (?Two girls? or ?two boys? or? a girl and a boy?) That?s why God says ??two dependants from whom you will accept their testimony?? and ?so that if one of them errs/forgets, then one can remind the other? This is not sad for rijal because any mature mu?min is qualified to be a witness. Mu?min means a mature person (male or female) who renders safety to others so she/he is qualified to be a witness. Mazhar said; And if the contracting men, shrewd businessmen had not first erred how there could be an entuality of the woman recording her evidence in the court? The erring is not by the witnesses at all, but by the one making the contract ? The quran says; If the party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate So if he err?s then the witness/?s can remind him- as Mazhar said above. And sorry your translations of the said ayah do make women look inferior then men, and are no way correct. Man and women are equal especially with respect to mental capacity. Has anybody here ever seen children being witnesses to transaction any where? The ayah has nothing at all to do with dependants , but is talking about a not so competant person who may forget about the condition of the transaction and so the witnesses , men or women will be there to remind him or her. peace
