Peace guest, Only in your last post, there are tens of words that we can argue about their first intended meaning (as used in al-quran), and that would take us some months to arrive to an agreement, if ever. To prove me wrong on this issue, you have just to point to someone who has the full truth or the first intended meaning of al-quran, besides its author. Until then, my point is valid. Also, you seem to believe in miracles while I don't. So there is a big gap between our positions. If you feel confortable in your position, so be it. Surely, my posts only reflect my opinion, which may agree with the truth or not. Thank you for reading and commenting on it, but if you would like to discuss a point in my posts, please formulate it in a simple and concise way, in a short sentence, so we won't get lost in interpretations (simple logical statements). Then we can take one point at a time.

Dear Brother Richard Kalif alias RK was an established Cheat and Liar who -Insulted Allah by blaming Him -Insulted the Quran by blaming it. Quran says ,even if the Munaafiqs speak the truth ,do not believe them. How can I believe RK and his followers who are Code worshippers. Regards No one is a "code worshipper" and I am sick of this insult being thrown left and right. Just because someone believes that the number does something doesn't mean they are looking forward to seeing a big "19" on judgement day to intercede on their behalf and make them enter a paradise with 19 virgins in it. ) The number does a crap load of things you probably never thought was possible and there is more too it than we think. It is also not easy for a number to be a multiple of 19 like 2, 5, or 3 is. I find it funny that anyone would think everything dealing with the number are mere coincidences that prove nothing just because it doesn't work with the false equations they concocted in their minds. They've still have yet to realize that a number will work with only specific equations and the #19 happens to work with the equations that clear the Quran of distortions. And you can provide me proof that RK was a liar by the name of Richard. I'm surprised Free Minds has yet to have an official "I Hate RK" or "RK is Gay and a Loser" thread/forum.

Salaam Badr Please don't make me accomplice in this misunderstanding of yours. I clearly explained to you that "mut" is a verb and ALWAYS used as such in the qur?an. You cannot just change its spelling as you like to make it a noun so as to fulfill your agenda. This change of spelling is not supported by alkitab. Sister Samia, you do not have to agree with me at all. I have no personal agenda. The only agenda, I have is to be able to understand the message of Rub by learning the language that was spoken at the time. This once spoken language is only preserved in the archives now. As I understand it, just want to share with others. This is not in order to gain any personal gains. Not even words of praise or appreciation. The purpose is to draw people to look at the message from linguistic point of view; the only correct way in my humble opinion. Once, we start doing this, understanding will follow. Just look at the word in discussion, since we continue to follow tradition. Up to date nobody said that this word could have been a combination of four separate words. " Le, Al, Mut and Taqeena. All accounts of exegesis I have read so far go like this. This is a very difficult word to translate. Then, they say based upon conjecture and some Hadith, it means Good fearing. When others object, they say no it means god conscious and on and on. However, it is abundantly clear now from linguistic break down, guarding people needs to be told, what to guard of? To guard of MUAT. However, since they will guard all the time, this noun Maut from which to guard, becomes part of this act, hence Mut a verb. However, this act Mut, will carry all meanings of the noun Muat from where it is deriven, wouldn't ? kn,thanks again for clearifying. Herbman, it was bothering me too not to apply the principle of Jezm, I am promoting on word . Though, I rationalised the other meanings several ways, in addition from contextual use it made more sense. However, from linguistic point of view I wanted an expalanation too and so did you. Upon, research it appears that Jezm in addition for indicating seperation of words, is also used for indicating empahasis on a consonant. To better examplify, it would be fair to equate this kind of Jezm to use of Euphonic Teshdeed. Badar

It means that you should pronounce God's name before eating (anything), it's not that important if the person slaughtering the animal says it. It is YOU that has to do it. Hope it helped. Peace Salam kn, the verses you cite above do not talk about meat specifically. you think they do because that is the general interpretation given. this is why in yussef ali's translation the word meat is in brackets it is not in the arabic text, it is just an understanding. So eat of (meats) on which Allah.s name hath been pronounced, if ye have faith in His signs. Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah.s name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you - except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress. Eschew all sin, open or secret those who earn sin will get due recompense for their "earnings." Eat not of (meats) on which Allah.s name hath not been pronounced That would be impiety. But the evil ones ever inspire their friends to contend with you if ye were to obey them, ye would indeed be Pagans. also, nowhere is there talk of slaughtering. IMO you can pronounce the name of god before you eat, yourself ...and not only on meat. lk Thanks a lot. May Rab shower his blessings on all of us.

Seek from Him! And know your respective Messengers, now! Follow 6 20 Allah says if you have dispute in matters of your life or religion come to the Book and the Messenger. Muhammad is not existing today to clarify the disputes and endless arguments over verses of Quran. There is this general saying "In the absence of Muhammad refer the hadiths; and referring hadiths is like following the messenger". Yet the whole world knows that the hadiths are the main source of all disputes, not only among the muslims but its contents also cause terror in the minds of the sane humans all over the world! As per Allah's command, we return to the Book, but then to the messenger? .

Peace, I read only the first page of this thread, so I haven't read the other posts. There is such thing as magic. I have seen it happen in front of my eyes a few times. It could possibly happen with the help of jinns. I have a cousin who does magic for fun, not for evil. One involves 4 people lifting someone from a chair with only 2 of their fingers. They try it first, they cannot lift him. After a few words under her breath, abracadabra alakazam! (not the actual words lol) they try again, they can lift the person from his chair and he feels like air. I tried it too years ago, I was 11.

Ibrahim's Stand Ibrahim used properly, the God given insight and through the wisdom he received from his God he was sure to dismiss the stars, the moon and the sun as anything at all before Him, and before him. And Ibrahim also understood that the heavens and the earth and everything in between are subservient to His Servants, to the most obedient and to the submissive by His Leave. And thus they did for Ibrahim! He could even make the birds to come to him flying by His Leave, alive, even after he made them into pieces and throw them on to the mountains. We do not follow the stand of Ibrahim to get near to Allah and thus we cease to be believers; even for fasting 'muslims' sight the moon god first. Who taught this? Bukhari? Very bad and sad! Let us see what is in store for us 3 191 Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth Our Lord! Thou hast not created this in vain! Glory be to Thee; save us then from the chastisement of the fire If we give any importance to the moon anymore to remember or to thank Allah by way of fasting, then hell fire is sufficient for us. Take it palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq - the fire balls from the sky keep falling continuously upon those 'muslims'. Allah takes no care of them; neither does He make any note of them at all. This is because they do not follow 3 191 but followed the gutter called the hadiths in preference to Quran. They are so contemptuously impure on account of this that Allah curses them all. Peace. .

    Q
This sentence seems to be missing the main verb Is it "linguists and others believe that iman is believing"? If lisaanul 3arab was sure of this meaning, it would not tell us what those scholars "believe". Does it insert this cliche whenever it gives the meaning of a word? This is just an appeal to popularity, and has no bearing on facts. And who are those (others)? The prophet is definitely not one of them! The prophet is supposed to have said that "the muslim is someone of whose hands and tongue people are safe " and is also supposed to have said "None of you is a mu'min until he loves for others what he/she would love for himself/herself ". . Those "linguists and others" would believe all the hadiths except these two? Dear Sister ( 1 / 23) . Regards

Did god said that idol worship is evil (whats so evil about eastern-buddhism and hinduism?) Buddhism doesn't contains ANYTHING and/or command anyone to worship an idol. Siddharta never even suggest his follower to worship an idol or even himself. And even today buddhist people build statue of him as a stature of respect and 'good example' but never pray to him and/or worship him. Evenmore the concept of "God" or "Gods" is obscure within Buddhism. Within Buddhism; 'salvation' (Nibbana attainment) is achieved by one's correct thought & act alone (not by faith or doing any worshiping ritual). There are many occurrence where Siddharta think that all of the gods/idol worshipping rituals (as practiced by common Hinduism at his time) is actually a worthless act, an act which practically useless and yield no value. Instead he recommends 'meditation' to his follower. I see Siddharta Gautama as an "Indian/eastern version" of Abraham. One of the thought reformer in his time... Salam

For me, there is evidence in nature everywhere. I guess it is just a matter of perspective. There are books discussing the communicative relation between God and man (e.g. signs in script, in nature etc), like the following excellent book http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=15870.0

My understanding is that there's no "method". Do you really believe that if, for any reason, someone stops praying rituallistically, they will automatically start doing evil? If so, why does hdith orders women not to perform salaat during their menses and after giving birth? Do women become more prone to evil doing during these periods (as almost all of those women who perform ritualistic salaat stop performing it 25% of their life, not counting delivery periods)? No. The rememberance of God is greater. Not rituallistically, no. If someone stops performing salat generally, then they are more prone to divert from the Straigh Path. I do not understand why you reference those hadeeths? No point discussing hadeeths. We both know they are man made.

"Number of Daily Salat" article owns. P While I follow the Quran alone, I pray 5 prayers as well as extras, but not because I think the Quran says it's a requirement. More prayers = not a problem for me= more good deeds = better for me.

Salaam Belal It would be a waste of time to search for these pure books and learn their language to understand them when God included the parts He wants us to follow in the quraan ( ) No verse Peace Samia, I agree with you 100% that the Quran Has what we need in order to be on the Straight Path; however, one of the orders is to Believe in the Previous Books (Book). Now, How can I say that I believe in something that I do not Know? Is this mean that I'm saying what I Do not Do (hence, hypocrite's Sign)? Is it true that if we believe in the previous Book, then Jerusalem would be the Place; but if we do not, then we will be confused between Mecca and Jerusalem? There are many rituals in Quran that are not as detailed (e.g., how to pray, the timing of God's Calendar--Lunar Vs Solar) as it is in Torah and Injeel; Is this means that God wants us to search the Other Scriptures (i.e., Torah and Injeel) in order to know more? Is it true that Suni and Shia teachings call for ignoring the Torah and Injeel because of many facts that they do not want us to believe in (e.g., Hajj to Jerusalem)? Peace
