Thanks for your submission. I truly cherish your understanding as it seemed in line with mine. The unresolved question is if a woman already had a right AND She the breadwinner of the family, does waiting necessarily for her? Does the word 'AZWAJ' necessarily mean woman, wife or widow? Peace brother kamil.. I appreciate it.. But It is desirable you go in line with Quran.. For your concern, if women are breadwinner.. Or for example widow women who are rich and living in their own house for that matter.. Look brother.. Women are not equal to men in physic.. Women has her own quality and man has his own quality.. In the eyes of Allah regardless of women or men only believers are successful.. When a specific rule is applied for women she should guard it.. If women cannot marry two men at a time that she should practice.. While she cannot question if allowed for men why not for women.. While biological child will only be of one man and that also can be verified nowadays easily even with how many men one woman stay with.. Am I right? Women's respect is different.. She needs to be extra vigilant.. It is so obvious women has no issue sharing her husband.. Coz it has happened in the past and it is happening.. But men's mentality God clearly knows.. Men will never share his wife legally with another man.. That's the engraved truth.. So God has ordered women to stay back 4.3 months.. That should be observed.. If not observing it is violation against God's clear law and that is between her and her Lord.. In a nutshell God has preserved woman from social disorders And from man controlled society.. If a woman suppose rich woman married just after three weeks another man society including women would speak against her.. Socially she is perfect if she wait for long.. But if man marries no one would care.. That's nature almost.. Even men and women of society would say how can a man wait or live without life partner.. That's typical society.. God has given priority to women just to ensure women are not denigraded in society in situations like this..

Salaam, what do you think of the following verse, 4216? I am very confused, does this mean anyone who argues including arguing for the existence of God? Does this include arguing about God's Holy Book, The Qur'an? very confused lads, let me know what you think. First LiberalGamer I would like to welcome you to the free-minds forum welcome Please read the context He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus "You shall uphold this one religion, and do not divide it." Ironically, they broke up into sects only after the knowledge had come to them, due to jealousy and resentment among themselves. (and gave their corrupted version of scripture) If it were not for a predetermined decision from your Lord to respite them for a definite interim, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the later generations who inherited the scripture are full of doubts. This is what you shall preach, and steadfastly maintain what you are commanded to do, and do not follow their wishes. And proclaim "I believe in all the scriptures sent down by GOD. I was commanded to judge among you equitably. GOD is our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds and you have your deeds. There is no argument between us and you. GOD will gather us all together; to Him is the ultimate destiny." Those who argue about GOD, after receiving His message, their argument is nullified at their Lord. They have incurred condemnation, and have deserved a severe retribution. When 4216 is taken in context I get a better understanding of what Allah is conveying to us. peace

Yes, our intention is brought to account. A continuation of 2;282 -Writing Down Financial Transactions with witnesses- 2283 If you are traveling, and no scribe is available, a bond shall be posted to guarantee repayment. If one is trusted in this manner, he shall return the bond when due, and he shall observe God his Lord. Do not withhold any testimony by concealing what you had witnessed. Salam smith007, The Quran is not just meant for collective human guidance from the divine agency, but also for humans individually in different stages of their spiritual developments. The adaptability of Quran is its hallmark for supporting the right progression for the ideals of honesty, nobility, and truthfulness. The seekers of knowledge may find reasons and answers that may feed their quest and quench their thirst regarding all affairs of life. The Quran demonstrates a value of attainment greater and better than the mainstream perspective of success and glory, and that is why everything it offers has to be beyond the reach of merchants and markets. The Quran establishes a reference for the domain of light that cannot be subdued by negative motives caused by the darkness and depravity of immoral actions. Therefore, everyone in various dimensions of reality can reach out to the ideals of Quran, and find their inspiration and fulfillment through its wisdom. agree handshake I believe that to prove obedience to God is only through our treatment to other human beings, preventing evil and doing good. • Why alcohol is haram by quran

ACCORDING TO THE QURAN , ALCOHOL IS NOT HARAM, IT IS "CONDITIONAL HALAL As the followers of the Quran know, only God can determine what is halal (lawful) or haram (forbidden). 16/116*And do not say, as to what your tongues falsely describe "This is lawful, and that is forbidden;" that you seek to invent lies about God. Those who invent lies about God will not succeed. 16/35*And those who were polytheists said "If God had wished, we would not have served a thing other than Him; neither us nor our fathers; nor would we have made unlawful anything other than from Him." Those before them did exactly the same thing; so are the messengers required to do anything except deliver with clarity? And the forbidden/haram food and drink (the blood) are announced explicitly by our Lord in His book 5/3*Forbidden to you is that which is already dead, and the blood, and the meat of pig, and what was dedicated to other than God, and that which has been strangled, and that which has been beaten to death, and that which has fallen from a height, and that which has been gored, and that which the wild animals have eaten from except what you managed to rescue, and what has been slaughtered on altars, and what you divide through arrows of chance. This is vile. Today the rejecters have given up from your system, so do not be concerned by them, but be concerned by Me. Today I have perfected your system for you, and completed My blessings upon you, and I have approved submission as the system for you. So, whoever is forced by severe hunger and not seeking sin, then God is Forgiving, Merciful. However, interpreters of the Quran hide our Lord's message by distorting the meaning of a verse (5/93), thus they can add other harams to the God's list. There is a passage in surah Al-Ma'idah about "hamr" which is translated as either alcohol, intoxicants or wine. This passage is between the verses 90-93 and the next verse 94 starts a new topic. 5/90*O you who believe, alcohol, and gambling, and altars, and arrows of chance are tainted - by the work of the devil. You shall avoid him so that you may be successful. 5/91*The devil only wants to cause strife between you through alcohol and gambling, and to repel you away from remembering God and from the contact prayer. Will you be deterred? 5/92*And obey God and obey the messenger, and be aware. If you turn away then know that it is the duty of Our messenger to deliver clearly. 5/93There is no sin upon those who believe and do good works for what they eat if they are aware and believe and do good works, then they are aware and believe, then they are aware and do good; God loves the good doers. *The verb "ta'ima" (translated as what they eat above) applies to eating and drinking (taste) in Arabic and the 93rd verse of surah 5 shows that the drinking hamr (alcohol or wine) or eating beef marinated in wine is NOT haram for "believers" as long as they avoid the work of Satan. To be more specific, (illicit) sex is forbidden, but the exception is lawful sex. Having lawful sex with spouses is halal for believers. Just like sex is "conditional halal" for believers, drinking alcohol is conditional halal for believers as long as they meet the criteria stated in 5/93 and are able to avoid the work of Satan. Some interpretors distort the true meaning of this verse (5/93) and dare to make some additions to the God's words in brackets. They translate the sentence in past tense (what they have tasted/ they tasted) and claim that the word "taste" refers to a time period before the prohibition of alcohol. However, this is obviously mistranslation because what is haram (shirk) for believers is describing something as haram before the God prohibits it. In other words, mistranslating this verse referring to the past leads to logical fallacy in the Quran. To summarize, as is stated in 16/67 the alcohol, the substance itself, is good and lawful provision 16/67*And from the fruits of the palm trees and the grapes you make strong drink and a good provision. In that is a sign for a people who comprehend. 16/114*So eat from what God has provided you, that which is good and lawful, and be thankful for the blessing of God, if it is indeed He whom you serve. 16/115*He has only forbidden for you what is already dead, and the blood, and the meat of pig, and what was dedicated to other than God. But whoever is forced to, without seeking disobedience or transgression, then God is Forgiver, Merciful. What is illicit in "hamr" (alcohol or wine) for believers (2/219) is explained in 5/91 and it is not forbidden as long as one can meet the criteria in 5/93. 7/32*Say "Who has made unlawful the nice things that God has brought forth for His servants and the good provisions?" Say "They are meant for those who believe during this worldly life, and they will be exclusive for them on the Day of Resurrection." It is such that We explain the revelations for those who know. Because "hamr" is a nice provision in here, the public of paradise will be served hamr in the hereafter. (47/15) Peace By the way, let's not forget that some fruits or other foods in nature have intoxicating properties just like drinks https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIDJ-sTuoO8 Peace

Peace When a man cannot marry his daughter, then daughter cant marry her father…. No there isnt any seperated verse… You are splitting hair in confusion.. MMA is very clear.. They are not slaves in conventional way.. They are part of one's family but not biological.. Woman is a prostitute if she doesn't keep a man at a time until she divorce the existing one... But that's not the case with men.. Two different aspects.. Can you interpret these two verses (423-24) in the sight of women or you prefer to leave as it is and let women look for what or who actually are forbidden in marriage for them.. .. We can't create a new verse out of nowhere.. Suppose a woman read this verse 0423 " Forbidden to you are...... ..... , And two brothers in wedlock at the same time, except for what has already passed, ..... " Are we allowed to create OR imagine even.. Or God forgot.. You know well.. So let's not create law just coz it was not addressed women .. Let's abide with law which already manifested in Quran.. Many more you can pick from these verses but I picked only one..... She doesn't need to literally interpret quran in this way but that's what she would perhaps take in the end as a woman if not perceive quran well.. But is that really the law for her? No way .. right! Here in these verses women are not given law.. But Men only... That's my understanding.. That's perfect for me.. Same chapter 23 or even 70... I know all men and women are equal if they are believers.. All are destined according to their deeds.. But when a law directed to men that is for men.. Why God here simply addressed men and given the criteria whom they should not marry.. Men should choose their wife.. It doesn't mean women are deprived from choosing.. Of course they choose ultimately... Don't complicate it ... look at in practical way.. In believing peoples' point of view Now with the acceptance, law is given and addressed at men.. Let's proceed.. Suppose, when a believer wants to marry.. If he has chosen a believjng sister (biological) then it is not allowed.. Forbidden.. Believing sister cannot say that there is no law applicable that I cannot choose a believing biological brother.. In fact in black and white ..No.. Of course she is right, if she says so.. She doesn't need to change verses of Quran.. But as a believing women what she should say.. Look brother.. It has been forbidden for you as believing man to marry a believing biological sister.. Chapter close.. So.. Does believing woman need separate law? Same law is enough.. That's why even in the case of two sisters in wedlock at the same time cannot be interpreted as two brothers at the same time.. That's not the way to look at it.. God is perfect in constituting law... 235-6 and 7030are directed for men.. Chastity can be breached for them only with partners , and with MMA.. Partners or MMA all after marriage (marriage is criteria) . Law for men.. What's law for women then. Let her remind that her husband as believing man can only breach chastity with her as partner in wedlock as well with MMA in wedlock.. If she witnesses her husband beyond this then she is a pure witness agaisnt her husband as committing illegal sex for which God has prescribed punishment as law.. When it comes to woman.. Since the law is for men, as believer he knows his partner in wedlock only can have sex with him and she only can have one partner at a time, beyond that is violation and if he witnesses that's worthy reporting for which she deseves legal punishment.. Isn't that clear brothers.. Why take it so complex.. Or those who make it complex, sexually aroused so that they can be free from it.. BTW.. Let me not neglect the verse 2431 as well.. Not relevant but ideal explaing together.. Here law is directed toward believing women and not Men.. The right is at the hands of women.. So in case any believing men approach her while she is exposed with her adornments (refer sister reels perfect) explanation for adornments ) then she should immediately point out ... Get lost from here if you in fact believe in Arrahman.. So.. Believing men should obey her .. Can believing men say, that there is no such law directed to us as men that we should not be with you while your addornements are exposed.. Can he say so while she has the law.. And in that law you are not included.. So just get away.. Perceive how beautifully God has applied law.. Note @Mahdi20 only.. In those verses aswaj and MMA are mentioned saying Where is marriage mentioned for MMA.. So impatient you are.. So where is marriage mentioned for aswaj in the same verse.. Why Aswaj automatically becomes marriage partner and not MMA.. Use your logic... So I can also claim, God says in 56 and 7030 Men can breach chastity with partners and MMA.. Regardless they marry or not.. There is no complications of discrepancies in Quran but you are in confusion...

Salam Jkhan, It's up to you brother. What you think there is no support, is not necessarily for me. I already explained the reason why I chose Jiim-ha-Ra = become plain/open/apparent/public/loud/discovered, become great/bulky, or proclaimed, for the reasons I have already mentioned. If for example you feel the need to interpret it as sound so that your reading of the Quran can be heard by other people or jinn, I think that's fine. Let me show you the full context, 4138 Give news to the hypocrites that they will have a painful retribution. 4139 Those who take the rejecters as allies instead of the believers "Do they seek glory with them?" All glory belongs to God. 4140 And it has been sent down to you in the Book, that if you hear the revelations of God being rejected and mocked, then do not sit with them until they move on to a different narrative; if not, then you are like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers in Hell all together. 4141 Those who linger and observe you, if you have a victory from God they say "Were we not with you?" And if the rejecters have success, they say "Did we not side with you and deter the believers from you?" God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection, and God will not grant the rejecters any success over the believers. 4142 The hypocrites seek to deceive God, while He is deceiving them; and if they establish for commitment, they do so lazily, only to show the people; they do not remember God except very little. Can you see it? So these hypocrites sit on both sides. If victory is on the side of the believer, then the hypocrite will pretend to be on the side of the believer, and vice versa. They wanted to deceive Allah, but it was Allah who deceived them. If they are asked to commit to the believers (Qamu ilal Salat), then they do it lazily, just to show to the believers as if they are committed to the believers, even though they are not. As I said earlier, you have to take the whole context to understand what this commitment (salat) is all about. But once again, it's up to you. Because that's what I got. You can try your own understanding and put it in all the related verses to see if it fits or not Again, please read the context first. But this requires an understanding in advance regarding Yaumil Jumuah. If you believe that Yaumil Jumuah is the sixth day of the week or Friday, then the context will not be met and nothing to explain here. But if you understand Yaumil Jumuah in 629 = Yaumul Jam'i in 649, then you will know that Yaumil Jumuah is a day that hasn't yet to come. It is the last day or often also called the day of no buying and selling. Now let me show you the verse, 629 yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū idhā nūdiya lilṣṣalati min yawmi l-jumuʿati.... Say the meaning of salat is to pray. And we know that Yaumil Jumuah (the day of gatherig) is the last day, then the call is of course useless.. It's too late to pray when it's time for the gathering day (Yaumil Jumuah). But pay attention to word "MIN" which I bolded in red in the verse above. This word is to prevent the meaning "at the day". So it should be "of the day". If this is meant as "at the day" then the arabic writing should be Salatil Yaumil Jumuah. Salat at the day of gathering. Like the words Salat in surah 2458 that you mentioned. Salatil Fajri = Salat at dawn and Salatil Ishaa = Salat at ishaa. So here is my translation for 62 9 above, 629 O you who believe, when the call is made for the commitment <salat> of the day of gathering, Regarding the context, you can reread what I wrote earlier about commitment of the day of the gathering. This is all related to trade, and how to always make sure that our trade is always according to Allah's guidance. It's kind of regular audit. I've often used this salat min yaumil jumuah to audit my business. One was when I discovered that half of my merchandise was counterfeit. The choice was that I had to destroy these items, even though they were very smooth selling items, and a huge loss for me to bear. Alhamdullillah, Allah gave instructions to negotiating with the suppliers to repurchase the goods at the prices set by them. So I didn't need to destroy that. So during the intenal audit as my commitment, I have to cease the trading and back to Quran words and fix everything that's not correct. When everything is done, then I resume trading. (6210). *This is a tremendous inner conflict, where I was confronted with huge but illegal profit gains, or doing it right. I need to re-read the verses of the Quran to convince me and strengthen my heart. And there are many more internal audits that I did based on this Salata min yaumil jumuah. And for the rest, I think you can use it to test the meaning of the Salat that you think is most suitable for you. Peace Peace.. No more comments... Let God God guide us..

Salam, Extract from pages 65 to 67 of my PDF (https//reveniraucoran.fr/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Literary_Composition_of_the_Quran.pdf) 1 - Translation with structure He who CONCEIVED the seven heavens one above another. No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of the Gracious. So turn thy vision again seest thou any flaw ? Again turn thy vision a second time (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, In a state worn out. And We have adorned the nearest heaven by means of lighted wicks , And We have made such (lighted wicks) (as) missiles to drive away devils . And have prepared for them the Chastisement of the Blazing Fire. 2 - Notes Ancient Astronomy « In addition to the celestial vault composed of stars ("the nearest heaven" in the Quran) whose organization seemed fixed, Babylonian astronomers had quickly noticed seven other bodies whose movement was not slaved to it, and sometimes even retrograde the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. In order to explain their movements, they had associated a "sky" to each one. This vision of things was taken up by Ptolemy (https//reveniraucoran.fr/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Ptolemee.jpg), and lasted until Nicolas Copernicus" (source modified from Wikipedia). The Qur'an repeats this ancient view, especially in Surah a-Talaq "God who CONCEIVED seven heavens and as many earths (= and the number of equivalent earths)". Additional remark With this subject, we can measure the importance of historically contextualizing the appearance of a sacred text in order to understand its fundamental/primary meaning. Without this salutary backward glance (although one must have the material and intellectual means to do so), one can easily fall into anachronism. Thus, modern readers have suggested that the word "seven" in the expression "seven heavens" refers to the following realities  Seven = multiple ;  Seven universes ;  Seven layers of the Earth's atmosphere etc. The Qur'an is not a book of science in the modern sense of the word. The Qur'an speaks of the natural world mainly from an earthly point of view, from things that man can easily observe and meditate upon. That is why throughout the Qur'an, when it talks about the sun, the moon, the clouds, the mountains, the rivers, the stars, the separation of bodies of water, embryology and even cosmology, all these elements are oriented from an earthly point of view, simply so that man can appreciate God's design. A priori this describes well the phenomenon of shooting stars/meteors (they indeed look like lit wicks). Devils among the species of the Djinns who rise in the high atmosphere to listen to something God bless you. Additional point the arabic terms tarā (twice) and that of l-baṣara (three times), which appear in verses 3 and 4 (sura 67), belong to the semantic field of "seeing by the eye." This indicates beyond doubt that the seven heavens are certainly observable from a Qur'anic perspective. This means that we can observe the seven heavens here on earth with the naked eye, just as it was for the Arabs in the early 7th century. 673 ‏ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَوَتٍۢ طِبَاقًۭا ۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَنِ مِن تَفَوُتٍۢ ۖ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍۢ ‎ alladhī khalaqa sabʿa samāwātin ṭibāqan mā tarā fī khalqi l-raḥmāni min tafāwutin fa-ir'jiʿi l-baṣara hal tarā min fuṭūri The One Who created seven heavens one above another. Not you see in (the) creation (of) the Most Gracious any fault. So return the vision, can you see any flaw? — Word for Word 674 ‏ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًۭا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌۭ ‎ thumma ir'jiʿi l-baṣara karratayni yanqalib ilayka l-baṣaru khāsi-an wahuwa ḥasīru Then return vision twice again. vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued. — Word for Word

Aren't you a Quran follower? I thought we are all here for righteousness. Btw, the verses in question are about protection during specific times. God isnt prescribing some fashion for reward. Maybe thats why he treates righteousness as a separate thing? Sure dress up like that if you are going to middle east and staying there for a long time. You dont wanna later deal with asthma, cataracts, severe sun burns, abnormal skin thickening, grey hair.....too many to mention! YES I AM QURAN ONLY BELIEVER

Peace Novice. Then you are saying two different things 1-You said this, quote "262 is talking about those who believed before the Quran and died away so their reward is with Allah as per their belief and their actions." 2- you say something else, quote "262 is in the context of bani Israeel. When the Quran was revealed they were supposed to have imaan in it as per Hope you see the issue . Salam brother, This means that one can lie by giving false oath and then expiate, with feeding poor people or fasting. This is a light punishment, considering that you can easily affect/impact cases and thus causing thulm to the other party who you are giving false against God bless Salam, the context in this verse is not making a false testimony in a case (today in our modern world, the only real use of oath together with marriage), but breaking a promise previously made in a pledge or a contract ("bima ʿaqqadttumu al-aymana&quot. You didn't necessarily intend to lie in the first place when you made a promise that you will not fulfill later. It happened several times for me, I genuinely made a promise I couldn't fulfill, because it turned out to be too much for me. Whether the punishment provided in Qur'an is too light or too strong in this context, I don't know. The right balance may be not so easy to set.

Peace Hawk99, the Qur'an is presently not translated, modern Arabic is a corruption of the ancient Arabic language, corrupted through Hadith over many centuries, slowly transforming Arabic. The purpose of this perceptual reality is to develop virtue, reason and establish truth, none of these things are possible without Islam. Islam is not in reference to any contrived religion, but to a model of anarchic common unity.

salam i really do not understand why there is the need to interpret the verse The God was clear ... punishment for stealing is cutting off of the hands unless the thief repents if He wanted ro say sustenance or what else, im guessing He would have said cut their sustenance. but no, He said HANDS ... so why interpret ) also if we start interpreting verses then why dont we interpret verses about lashing etc or even about hell and say fire is just an allegory there is no fire but no, The God is clear in His verses and His words are precise hands to be amputated for the thief just as there is actual fire and boiling liquid in hell peace Salam Brother tutti_frutti, Yes you're right and i was wrong. Probably the classic mistake of mixing and projecting one's personal feelings/opinions onto a text. A few additional remarks about your last comment (1) Structure of the text (according to the principles of Semitic rhetoric - cf. note 1) While the subpart of Sura 5 (verses 1-26) ended with a highly symbolic biblical narrative, the second subpart (verses 27-50) also begins with a parable narrative from the biblical tradition the murder of Cain. The story of this crime is like a pediment inaugurating a textual subsection devoted to questions concerning the exercise of justice in the new community founded by Muhammad. It has two textual sequences 27-40 and 41-50. The first one prescribe corporal punishment for certain crimes, beyond which lies the struggle of some rebellious Jews against the prophet. The second inaugurate Muhammad as an arbiter in the internal affairs of Jews and Christians. The textual sequence from verses 27 to 40 comprises three passages arranged in "concentrism" (e.g.a sequence with a center, symbolized by the letter X as below) (A) 27-31 (X) 32-a-f (A&#039 32g-40. The first passage is dedicated to the account of fratricide ; the second repeats a sentence of wisdom from Jewish tradition forbidding all murder, except for the execution of the murderer or the one who contributes at "a disorder/chaos in the land" ; the third passage applies this exception to "those who fight against God and his messenger and contribute at a disorder/chaos in the land", while extending the consideration to other crimes and punishments, such as theft (verse 53. Below is a schematic representation of the structure of verses 27 to 40 (A) The murder of Cain (verses 27-31) (X) The prohibition of murder and "disorder" on earth (verses 32a-f) (A) Crimes and punishments for "disorder" external to the community (war) and internal to the community (theft) (verses 32g-40) => This whole passage is about corporal/physical punishment. (2) Arabic principle the plural "aydiyahumā" (their hands) Normally, the plural form in Arabic indicates a minimum of 3 units. However, it exists the Arabic principle that ‘when annex (aḍāfat) a single body part to each of a pair of individuals, they use the plural form’, quoting Q. 664, If you both repent to God, for indeed your hearts have deviated (in tatūbā ilā’llāhi fa-qad ṣaghat qulūbukumā). (3) Vocabulary the word "nakālan" (53 = "(as) an exemplary (punishment)" Dictionary Arabic-English Lexicon by Edward William Lane Any punishment serving to give warning to others than the sufferer (M, K, TA) or that restrains the offender from repeating the offence ** Dictionary Arabic-French Lexicon by Kazimirski Some uses of the root نكل (nun-kaf-lam) To recoil, to move away 2. to refrain from something, or to recoil from someone or something out of fear To be instructed, warned, intimidated by examples one has had before one's eyes, or to make an example of someone, e.g. by inflicting exemplary punishment. Terrible and exemplary punishment => This visual and collective exemplarity act corresponds to the fact of cutting the hand, and instilling the fear of robbing in the hearts of Men. (4) The historical context of the revelation of Sura 5, and verse 38. Sura 5 is the last to appear in the chronological order of the Koranic revelation. Muhammad became the undisputed ruler of the community he governed. The Qur'anic principles of solidarity with the weakest are fully realized. No one has a "serious" reason to steal because he is hungry. Thus in this context the motive to steal has no justification and can only cause disorder/chaos in the tight-knit community of believers. Furthermore, the traditional scholars have set conditions for the application of this measure This does not apply to stealing food (especially if one steals out of hunger) A minimum amount of value must be stolen to be applied etc.. (5) Variant of recitation/qirâ'a the variant of Ibn Masʿūd In Q. 538, the verse setting out the punishment for thievery, the canonical reading is cut off the hands of both the male and female thief (wa’l-sāriqu wa’l-sāriqatu fa’qṭaʿū aydiyahumā). Al-Farrāʾ records from Ibn Masʿūd, cut off the right hands of both male and female thieves (wa’l-sāriqūn wa’l-sāriqāt fa’qṭaʿū aymānahumā).Al-Ṭabarī records one isnād indicating doubt about whether Ibrāhīm al-Nakhaʿī quoted Ibn Masʿūd or claimed this recitation for himself, and another referring to al-Nakhaʿī alone. He also narrates from Ibn Masʿūd without al-Nakhaʿī, cut off the right hands of both the male and female thief (wa’l-sāriqu wa’l-sāriqatu fa’qṭaʿū aymānahumā). By using the singular form of sāriq and sāriqa, this second reading only diverges from the canonical Qur’anic text by a single word. This is the version that al-Jaṣṣāṣ records as the recitation of al-Nakhaʿī. => We have here the testimony that Ibn Mas'ûd recited this verse using the plural "The thieves/as-sâriqûn and the thieves/as-sâriqât, cut off their hands...", which would indeed explain the presence of the plural aydiy/hands. please can any one who understand Arabic explain the literal translation of WA allama adama asama...2;31. I refer you to the link below on the influence of certain Jewish traditions in circulation (oral and/or written?) at the time of the prophet Muhammad (pbsl). Note influence does not necessarily mean "copy and paste". For the verse (231 and the following ones which are linked to it) which is the subject of this topic, I refer you to page 42-43 of the pdf or to the chapter "the fall of satan" of this book http//www.dominiopublico.gov.br/download/texto/gu001493.pdf God bless you.

The verse is not making a declarative statement, i.e. God is saying it sets in a muddy spring, it says "he found it setting...", i.e. it is written from his perspective. Salam to all Do you means it's written of dhu qarnan perspective? And who is this guy God bless all
