Salaams truth, where does it say hell will be annihilated? i think according to them/these ayats ,hell is eternal? 072.023 YUSUFALI "Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell they shall dwell therein for ever." 072.023 YUSUFALI "Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell they shall dwell therein for ever." 048.006 YUSUFALI And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil the Wrath of Allah is on them He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them and evil is it for a destination. 041.028 YUSUFALI Such is the requital of the enemies of Allah,- the Fire therein will be for them the Eternal Home a (fit) requital, for that they were wont to reject Our Signs.

Peace be upon you Khalil, This is how I presently understand the 'torah' and 'injeel' based on 4829. I believe it fits inline with Someone's posted roots. I understand the 'Torah' as being the follow through of the law (preparation). I liken it to tilled soil, that is ready to foster the seed. I see the 'Injeel' as the outcome of following the law, it is the growth one experiences from the expression of the law. I view the 'Torah' as feminine and 'Injeel' as masculine. I believe they can be contrasted with Mary and Isa. Yes, I agree with that line of thought, though I do not have a firm understanding yet.

Salaams all, beatnik, idol, From an article I came across ?The Arabs prior to Islam were committed in their hearts to idols, and what they saw around themselves with their own eyes they made into idols. Not only did they lower their heads and prostrate before them, but they donated everything they had, even gifts of agricultural produce, to their idols. 'al-Lat' was in Ta'if in the form of a cubic stone, and had a special field and meadow near Ta'if which was a holy place, and cutting trees, hunting and the spilling of blood were not lawful in its vicinity; the people of Mecca and other places made pilgrimage to it. 'al- 'Uzza' was a very powerful god equivalent to the planet Venus, and was situated in Nakhlah east of Mecca, and was? All this is embodied in their form of HAJJ.? A DIFFERENT QIBLA FOR PEOPLE OF MOSES! ? 1087 YUSUFALI We inspired Moses and his brother with this Message "Provide dwellings for your people in Egypt, make your dwellings into places of worship, and establish regular prayers and give glad tidings to those who believe!" The Message And We inspired to Moses and his brother ?Let your people leave their homes in Egypt, and let these homes be your focal point (Qibla) and hold the contact-method. And give good news to the believers 002.142 YUSUFALI The fools among the people will say "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say To Allah belong both east and West He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight. 002.109 YUSUFALI Quite a number of the People of the Book wish they could Turn you (people) back to infidelity after ye have believed, from selfish envy, after the Truth hath become Manifest unto them But forgive and overlook, Till Allah accomplish His purpose; for Allah Hath power over all things. Quranic Dictionary Qabila=To accept/admit/receive/agree/meet anyone. Qablu=Before/Formerly. Qiblah=Towards/In the direction of.. SO WHAT WHERE THEY USED TO ,AS IN 142 ,ANSWER IS IN 109,?BACK TO INFIDELITY? or their old way. Who knows they may have turned to their kaaba as well physically ,therefore Allah has said east, west are the same as he is everywhere. 002.115 YUSUFALI To Allah belong the east and the West Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-Pervading, all-Knowing. That was their Qibla they were used to ,but the meaning of this word is taken advantage of as are most of the important words to embody the pagan Riligion which was in existence in Mecca previously. I think Br.Hafeez did an article on this very topic. Salaams.

Peace truth, Chapter 114 In the name of God, Most Powerful and Most Merciful 1 Say ?I seek shelter with the Lord of the people, 2 The Ruler of the people, 3 The god of the people; 4 From the harm of the evil whisperers who disown (their) - 5 Whispers into the ideas of the people 6 Whether they be of the jinns or of the people. Thank you for your translation. It makes a lot of sense. I found your translation of 113 especially good. I had a couple of comments on 114. I think that the Arabic word "khanas" in 1144 means invisible. How did you arrive at the meaning of disown? Khannas - to remain behind, hold back, withdraw Thus these proposers of evil will suggest these things but will withdraw from responsibility for them. Thus they disown their evil suggestions. Also, could you translate "jinn"? Jinn remains problematic for the time being - I left it untranslated but will surely work on this immediately. Peace.

Thanxz both for your explanation. Maybe I indeed made it harder then it looked like. It's too bad that some men take advantage of those words and think they're indeed priviliged by God to be the "boss" of the women. Because I believe in God being righteous I didn't think he would mean it like that. But thought to simple (or to hard) about it, while it's actually the truth when it comes to the present time and the past. The Quran is timeless... although people change.

Salam Joe, My previous point, in light of AYAH 693 that a person should never claim the he/she received revelation from GOD until he/she is sure. Otherwise, the person risks being in error. Since in my definition that a Nabi is a person that declares receiving revelation from GOD, that is very important. I never disputed AL HAQQ, I just dispute when a person should claim having received it. It could be that we have different understandings what a Nabiyy is. therefore, our possible misunderstandings. You defined a Nabiyy as this in another post. Joe said I think the nabiyeen/informers are the people who make leaps in their understanding of the truth and then they share it with others Since you asked me earlier to present proofs. I think that it is your turn to present proofs that this definition is correct. Salam Hussein

asdfjk, mquran, and truth, thank you for you responses. right, this section of the book is from publication on salah and "the correct way to perform it". although that part of the book which shows the steps of performing salah mentions that one can recite any other surah after al fatihah, it never says that the eleven surahs compiled in the back are the ones that certain Muslims usually say. and the section of the book with the eleven surahs doesn't give a reason as to why they've been compiled. i had a feeling that they could be used after al fatihah because they were complete and short, but i wasn't sure since one of the du'a's listed as what "should" be said after as-salah 'alan nabiyy is a few lines from a larger surah (1440-41). i didn't want to assume. okay, thanks again for your help. peace, k.damiana

Thanks all for your messages...its midterm time at college, so I wasn't able to fully read all of your posts, but God willing I will soon... before the finals pop up again. x What will happen when eventually you get what you want? Will you find another thing to want? When would that stop? Well, actually, I don't want anything from God. I've got everything I need and want, many thanks to God. Materially speaking, as a 20 year old, I am very very lucky because God has given me the best of things...and I am just a student who hasn't even started professional work yet! So, materially, I am a-okay D My point was that though God tells us God is very near to us, why do I feel that God is not near, but very very far away? Maybe its just that I am not getting enough sleep because of my exams that I feel this way, huh?

Peace be upon you, It is all symbolism, things that fly represent BALANCE of heaven and earth. We are a BALANCED COMMUNITY. IN the world but not of the world. Our journey is described as climbing a mountain, how easy is that for a flying creature? The God is not talking about any tribe. The God is not talking about HISTORY, he is talking about RIGHT NOW, the ETERNAL PRESENT.

salam joe, the sealing of hearts and the sealing of the Prophethood and wahi are two completely different subjects. as far as our hearts/minds, we are the ones in control and it is through our own deeds that our hearts get sealed and CLOSED, and through our own deeds that our hearts get unsealed and opened to the truth. the prophethood/wahi, however, is completely within Allah's domain of control. wahi is not as volatile an item NOR as individual an item as is the hearts of men, opening and closing opening and closing... part of the reason for Allah's wisdom in completing the wahi in the form of the Quran is so that it could be preserved and Muslims could follow it without doubt. If wahi was still open and prophets still came, this perfection would be demolished. Anyway, this is just a brief answer, but should at least explain my thoughts. i will provide my more detailed analysis, i hope, very soon. wassalam

God's blessing on all, I have done a lot of research on what Islaam really means. But it will most likely amount to nothing for 2 reason Too many have too much invested in the word Muslim and Islam. So they will reshape the word to mean whatever they see fit based on their limited knowledge in Arabic and their wishes. Those who have a hunch about what they think the original meaning is based on their limited understanding of Arabic will be stating their hunches a 'the original meaning' despite the fact that they have no idea how this word was used in Classical Arabic during Muhammad's day. God bless and honor him. Godbless, Anwar

Peace, The structure of 3340 (muhammad) is similar than 367 (ibraheem) 3340 Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is Allah?s Messenger and the Closing Seal of all Prophets. And Allah, indeed, is Knower of all things. Ma kana muhammadun abaahadin min rijalikum walakin rasoola Allahi wa khatama alnnabiyyeena wakana Allahubikulli shay-in AAaleeman 367 Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was an upright man who had surrendered to Allah. He never ascribed divinity to anyone beside One True God. Ma kana ibraheemu yahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakin kana haneefan musliman wama kana minaalmushrikeena Idem for 3144 and 575 And Mohammed is but / is no more than a messenger, like many messengers that have passed before him. If he dies or is killed will you turn back on your heels? And whoever turns back on his heels, he will not harm God in the least. And God will reward the thankful. Wama muhammadun illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu afa-in mataaw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum wamanyanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allahashay-an wasayajzee Allahu alshshakireena The Messiah son of Mary, is no more than a messenger; like whom messengers have passed away; and his mother was trustworthy, they used to eat the food. See how We clarify the signs for them, then see how they deviate. Ma almaseehu ibnu maryama illa rasoolun qad khalat min qablihi alrrusulu waommuhu siddeeqatunkana ya/kulani alttaAAamaonthur kayfa nubayyinu lahumu al-ayatithumma onthur anna yu/fakoona FM 616. And when Jesus, son of Mary, said ?O children of Israel, I am God's messenger to you, authenticating what is present with me of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name will be acclaimed.? But when he showed them the clear proofs, they said ?This is clearly magic.? I lean toward ahmad(u) as a qualifier like almaseeh(u) for Isa (345), akbar/greater(676, 2945), azka/pure (1819), abtar/loser (1083), aAAma/blind (1319). Like Isa, Muhammad is no more than a messenger like many messengers that have passed before him. Peace
