The great reading is it's own lexicon and tafsir. God has said His deen will prevail. There are many words like Jibril, jabara=powerful, jibril=God's powerful, a common noun.

Children of israel are those who are entrusted with intelligence a little above over the other people by god, as only a test for them in this world. God knew they were the people who shall be proud and arrogant and involve in destruction and transgression. The choice is theirs either they be humble and be grateful for what allah had granted; or, indulge in inflicting the world communities with excesses using their 'testy-intelligence'. God has chosen the children of israel from the rest of the people of the world communities as a warning and remind. God will choose amongst you, the rest of the tribes/communities too! When He endows you with the wisdom a little above the rest of the people of your tribe/community, please mind "You're the chosen ones from the rest, for the test!" So be not fallen people like the israelites, then! If you fall, you are chosen people for the hell, like the israelites of today!

Doctor Your translation of ILM is knowledge, whereas the meaning is "ability to understand the TRUTH". When you seek knowledge from Allah, it means you want the truth from allah/the absolute understanding/the Wisdom. "O Lord Increase my ability to understand the Truth" You understand TRUTH by knowing, and proper application of that KNOWING is Wisdom. Doctor, it appears that you have taken on Man's corruption of the word "KNOWledge" as your correct definition. The better metod would be to bring back the correct understanding of that word, then you will remove the difficulty you have in translating "Ilm" to Knowledge.

Regarding the spiritual philosophy , I recommend "Metu Neter Vol 1 & 2" by Ra Un Nefer Amen I highly recommend all of the above books and authors. HIGHLY! Lastly, I recommend to everyone to read the metaphoric story of Ausar(Osirus), it is the oldest known metaphoric story and contains a great deal of wisdom and "familiar" themes.

Peace be upon you Doctor, Please be direct and hold us no longer in limbo, WHY does the God advise us to seek INCREASE in knowledge? Yet you tell us to reject knowledge? We recognize the superiority of Wisdom over Knowledge, but how do you come to th econclusion that knowledge is wicked and should be rejected? How do you even read these posts without knowledge of alphabet?

Regarding beings living out there, I have no knowledge of that but I would not be suprised if there were. But, the verse says seven universes and clearly points out seven earths, right? I am not so sure, that would seem to contradict because the God has told us many times about the earth and the seven skies, He does not speak about the 7 earths and 7 skies, only the earth and 7 skies. It is only when we get to this verse that the translators have given us this idea. When I look further, this is what I found. (6512) God is who created seven skies, and from the earth equal/similar to them (mithlahunna)... This word "mithlahunna" looks to me to be related to the word used throughout to denote SYMBOLISM/Similitudes. So if that is correct, what I think is being said is that the seven skies are similar to the one earth, or as I said in my last post, the 7 skies are what effect the earth, or in other words, the 7 spheres of our spirit/mind effect our PERSON. The physical earth is certainly under the influecne of the objects in the skies. I was reading the description of this verse on Submission.org's website and they've said that there are seven other universes out there just like ours; each containing a Mercury, Venus, Earth... This (according to them) is God's proof to the evolutionists on the Day that the Earth and human life simply did not evolve without a Creator from a single cell, but was created and that God can effortlessly create as many universes as God wants....which kind of makes sense. Now, say this is true hypothetically and we know that God doesn't make anything without a purpose...could there be humans living in each of those seven earths out there? The fact that submission.org, or no one else, has been throughout the universe, we cannot say there are Seven other "universes". In fact, the word UNIverse, implies only ONE (UNI). Perhaps they meant 7 other galaxies or solar systems, but whatever the case, there is NO WAY thaey can know if there are only 7 more as oppossed to a billion more, we just cannot see that far. WHile it is interesting science, and I would be interested to know the TRUTH of that, it is not top priority to the God's message because He did not speak of any beings in outer space. Also, the many generations that past have lived and dies without that question being answered, I am fine also with not knowing that. If we find out that there are beings in space, I hope that the Earth beings don't corrupt them as they do thier fellow earth beings. I hope thye don't enslave them and make them work for no pay, or keep them homeless, or prostitutre them, or tax them with all kinds of taxes to oppress them unfairly, etc.

Peace be upon you Ash Shura, What occurred to me is that Kaf-Fa-Ra (Kufr) seems to be the antonym to Sha-Kaf-Ra (Shukr). Hence, Shukr is given by doing the reverse of Kufr, following GODs injunctions, doing good deeds. You know as opposed to sitting on our butts and saying shukran shukran So simple and clear isnt it? It is about ACTION, not lip service. We thank the God by doing what we are asked to do. It sounds so simple, yet so many are unaware of this simple fact. Most are too busy "wroshiping" some object called "god", instead of SERVING the ONENESS which is the God.

All of you give importance with earnestness to the grammar/dictionary meanings to start wiith, then soon you go for interpretation/context leaving the language/dictionary/meanings/gramar in the lurch. Contrasting difference of opinions, finally each sticking to his own understanding is enough evidence from Allah that we stopped groping about grammar and dictionary to understand an ayat of Allah. Let us use commonsense that has become very uncommon.

Peace, Just a thought that came to mind. In the verse it says Faman shahad menkom al-shahr ..... does that mean some will not witness that month only because of death, or is it possible as well not to witness the month for other reasons?

It is not righteousness that you turn your faces to the East (WA) AND the West; but righteous is he who (AAMANA) BELIEVED in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the Prophets; and (AATAA) GAVE his wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and (AQAAMA) ESTABLISHED the PRAYERS and (AATAA) GAVE the ZAKAAT, and (MOFON) HONORED his covenant when he covenanted, and the patient in tribulation and adversity and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are the God fearing. 2177 He who BELIEVED in Allah, the Last day, the angels, the scriptures, and the Prophets He who GAVE away his wealth to the poor etc. (what remains with him so that he can give ZAKAAT and to WHOM?) (Is there any verse, which says GIVE ZAKAT to THE POOR etc.) He who GAVE Zakaat? How much? (It is an on going process, continues till death) He who OFFERED his PRAYERS? How many times / days / weeks / years (this is on going process, continues till death) Has Allah explained the minimum requirements of GIVING ZAKAAT and OFFERING PRAYERS, to make an individual eligible for the post of RIGHTEOUS and GOD FEARING? What you understood when Allah said " he who GAVE away his wealth to the poor, he who GAVE zakaat, he who OFFERED prayers, IS RIGHTEOUS AND GOD FEARING? Surely, the TERRORISTS and the Afghan OPIUM producers, who give their wealth to the poor, who give zakaat, who pray more than five times (daily five + chaasht and Ishraq) are RIGHTEOUS and GOD FEARING? Think about them in the light of the verse 2177 'INNA-MAA YAcMUR MASAAJID 'ALLAAH MAN 'AAMANA BI- 'ALLAAH WA- AL- YAWM AL- 'AAKHIR WA- AQAAMA AS.- S.ALAAH WA- 'AATAA AZ- ZAKAAH WA- LAM YAKHSHA 'ILLAA 'ALLAAH FA- cASAA 'OLAA'IKA 'AN YAKONO MIN AL- MUHTADEN 918 The mosques of Allah shall be maintained by such as (AAMANA) BELIEVED in Allah and the Last Day (AQAAMA) ESTABLISHED the PRAYERS and (AATAA) GAVE the ZAKAAT and fear none (at all) except Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance. 918 WHY ALLAH HAS NOT ORDERED THE BELIEVERS TO MAINTAIN THE MOSQUE? WHY ALLAH HAS SET, SUCH HIGH STANDARD OF FAITH, FOR JUST MAINTENANCE OF THE MOSQUE. WHY ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE BELIEVED, AND ESTABLISHED THE PRAYERS (HOW MANY TIMES / DAYS / WEEKS / YEARS, NOT MENTIONED?) WHY ONLY THOSE WHO GAVE ZAKAAT, HOW MUCH, NOT MENTIONED) (What relation has ZAKAAT with the repairing of the Mosque?) WHY ONLY THOSE WHO FEAR ALLAH ONLY? WHO ARE THOSE WHO FEAR ALLAH ONLY? Those who CONVEY / PREACH the Message of Allah and FEAR Him, and FEAR NONE EXCEPT ALLAH. And Sufficient is Allah as a Reckoner. 3339 WA- MIN AN- NAAS WA- AD- DAWAAB WA- AL- ANcAAM MUKHTALIF ALWAAN -HU KA- DHAALIKA 'INNA-MAA YAKHSHAA 'ALLAAH MIN cIBAAD -HI AL- cULAMAA' 'INNA 'ALLAAH cAZEZ GHAFOR 3528 And of men, and beasts, and cattle, likewise of diverse colours. IT IS ONLY THOSE WHO ARE (cULAMAA) LEARNED / SCHOLAR among his slaves THAT FEAR ALLAH. Verily Allah is the Mighty, the Forgiving. 3528 So according to Allah only THOSE WHO PREACH / CONVEY the message of ALLAH and THOSE WHO ARE cULMAA (LEARNED / SCHOLAR) are ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRING OF THE MOSQUE.
