Thank you Khalil! I agree. Do you also agree to that "muhammad" is the one that praises and "al-ras?l" in the reading is the one that proclaims the message? Muhammads praised and proclaimed and conducted their communities as imams as well. Messengers followed Allah in much the same way as prophets did. Both "muhammads" and "al-rasuls" carried out both without let up. So there are no messengers or "praisers" left, is that what you're telling us? Brother el-aziz, Can you elaborate your question please ? Thanks, Drfazl...as you refered to "muhammads" and messengers you were using perfect tense - that they "carried", "raised and proclaimed and conducted". peace be upon you Idris, since the dead is forbidden on us, that means no meat is allowed, I understand the dead in the same way than Layth; what is already dead / dies of itself and we are not able to slaughter it.. A. Shabir 53 Forbidden for you (2173) for dietary consumption are Any Animal that dies of itself. Blood. The flesh of swine. And anything (not just meat) that has been dedicated to any other than Allah (such as an idol, grave or saint). Any Animal that has been strangled to death. Beaten to death. Dies by falling from height. Gored to death by horns. Animal eaten by a wild animal unless you are able to slaughter it while it is still alive. -That which is sacrificed on altars (devotional stones or blocks in shrines considered sacred). ..unless we eat these animals while they are living lol we are allowed to eat these animals after they have fallen to the ground lifeless /their body becomes still (53 and 2236). The meat which is gorged with blood is not healthy to eat. I think this is why it is forbiden for us the dead (body + blood) and the blood. ..And after they have fallen to the ground lifeless, eat from their flesh, and feed the contented poor who beg not as well as the poor who ask. (2236) The god knows best

peace be upon you hlatif and idolfree, we can spend all day arguing a million signs (ayat) that these words occur in, but I believe the real discussion here is the correct translation of "eiman" which is far more important and which I see there is an overwhelming amount of evidence as meaning trust/security, sorry for getting off the topic earlier but we should be discussing the meanings of "bi" and other words like it in another thread, I'll personally start it up amd I'm all for discussing the translation of "bi" cause I believe itll clear up many signs (ayat) of this reading (quran)

Salaams Doc, Don't you need a message to explain it ,expound it ,reveal it to peopleso you need a Messenger who has recieved a Message from Allah which then by being a prophet you prophesise ,proffess,explain e.t.c I think. 019.051 YUSUFALI Also mention in the Book (the story of) Moses for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. 019.053 YUSUFALI And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, a prophet (an expounder). Look at this first ayat is Moses a Messenger first or a prophet . Secondly that his brother is merely there to expound the message of the Messenger(i.e Of Moses). Salaams.

Brothers, A muslim is, one who at the time of death, as malayikas capture his mind and soul, is to be greeted with "Salamun Alaikkum - May Peace Be Upon You". Muslim is one who is sure to be blessed on the Day when he departs his mind to travel into the soul to enter the "garden of peace" as a reward for his good deeds with belief in his Lord and in the hereafter. Everyone has the ability to recieve inspiration from the god. Like in recieving a program on TV, one has to adequatly orientate his antenna (qibla) to be able to see a clearer image. It doesn't matter if one has a TV if he doesn't use his antenna, one will only catch "bbbzzzzkhcchhhh". Excellent Mohamed And our own antenna is our heart which is like our eyes, a tiny dust prevents us to see clearly. In other word, a pure and noble heart. Peace

Peace be upon you MZ, It is my position that we are not to say say "magic formula", we are to follow the God's methodolgy as you stated. The example I like to use is the one about "saying the God's name" over food. Do we recite a magic potion, or do we select food that is in line with the God's attributes of The Nourisher?

Salaam, Maybe not but maybe two distinctive behaviours... ... Personally, these quite possibly don't reflect specific people or beings, but rather a person who exhibits these behaviour patterns. Hence, it would make sense when the Quran says that our rebellious side is with us from birth, and it is down to us to control it by submiting to the deen. I came to the conclusion that attributing something evil to someone other than themselves is a particular human characteristic, and it appears the truth really could hurt, it appears we could have been deluded by blaming a mythical being/beings for our own shortcomings. Peace, Whay has ''Wafaat'' been translated in various ways? Does it mean Death literally? If not then how do you explian it's uses in other verses? 'Wafa' simply means 'to take' and is almost always linked to the subject of death. It relates to the soul being taken as a result of death. With regards to Jesus, we can see he is clearly dead from his own use of the word in 5117.

Peace Idris, be and it is can also be translated as "be and it happens" or "be and it becomes" i think Why not ) i mean properly translated wink ...although "be and it is" is (as far as I know) not typed down into the lecture, it is my destinct belief that such thinking is a very fine exemple of what the word "isl?m" really means. That is to settle with how the creation of God works and that it is NOT separated from ourselves but in our minds.

I have a very new and different view that I want to state here. The human body is only a vehicle for the true self which never dies, it is my GUESS (at this time until I see if it has merit) that one who dies in a state of rejection, which menas they enjoyed the life of this world over the life of the UNSEEN, thier true self which never dies is STUCK on this level. To one who is CONSCIOUS of this world, it is not a hapy place. Human body is just a vehicle which has a limited stay on earth used by the trueself, fully powered, never to die that it travels through the eternity. In such case, will it get STUCK just because the vehicle has collapsed? One who dies in a state of rejection If the vehicle rejects which is not the trueself, then a vehicle after all, is not accountable for rejection. When you refer to 'one' is it vehicle? Or, trueslf? Or, both together? Please clarify.
