Peace all, Thank you for your inputs. I think the tradition compiled by Bukhari & co about 200 years after the death of the prophet is a good a example for this possibility to "say" or to "speak about" that of which you have no knowledge. I agree if we speak about that of which we have no knowledge that imply we "go along with / agree with. There is a difference between only to say (qala) and to say or to speak about a false information, an uncertain information. In other words, the verb qafa = to say/speak about an uncertain or wrong information. The second part of the verse specifies the nature of the information (alqafw) which is not based on knowledge, or based on conjecture. And amongst them are Gentiles who do not know the Scripture except by hearsay, and they only conjecture. Marie

Peace be upon you, What if indeed the first man to name things, named himself as adam? Its possible, but I doubt that we would error if we did not know his name. But we would error if we did not take time to understand the descriptions of the universe (gain knowledge of things).

Peace upon you marie, Allah said, ? I will make abundance for you as long as you remain loyal to the System. But, for those who disbelieve afterward, I will punish them as I have never punished anyone else/no one else from the worlds (alAAalameena) .? In 5115, the god is adressing the followers of the messenger ?issa, telling that he will make abundance for them, as they acquired and accepted the knowledge that the messenger brought to them, then as long as they remain loyal to the system, the god will give them the good results of their efforts. But, those from them who would disblieve after recieving such knowledge, would be punished a punishment that those who are knowlegeables would never taste. Please read the context of this verse from verse 110.

Peace, Thanks Idris, I am trying to learn. Here is what I?ve noticed concerning hajj. Using a bit of grammar in Sura Taubah the messenger announces ?al hajj al akbar?, ?the GREATEST challenge?, which is the superlative. When I was researching the perversion of God?s attribute Al Kabir which is perfect and proceeded by the definite article, I first thought the translation of Allahu Akbar was God the Biggest/Greatest which would make it a comparison and a perversion, i.e., greatest among what? But when I took another look I realized that it would be ?Allahu AL Akbar? to translate it as ?greatest?. I was easily able to prove that what they are really saying is ?God the bigger/GREATER? which is even worse in perversion as comparisons go, than GREATEST See 93 And an announcement from Allah and His Apostle to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah and His Apostle are free from liability to the idolaters; therefore if you repent, it will be better for you, and if you turn back, then know that you will not weaken Allah; and announce painful punishment to those who disbelieve. In this translation the author deviates further by writing ?greater? instead of greatest as the Arabic reads and of course the word pilgrimage is a corruption of a very easy verb. From this verse I deduce that this challenge is in comparison to other challenges one will encounter and the challenge that involves fighting is the al hajj al akbar, ?GREATEST challenge? as per the verse.

Peace layth I think 'The messages' introduction may need to be re-worded. The Quran is the final in a series of written revelations that occurred between God and humankind beginning with the revelations given to Abraham and ending with the last prophet over 1,400 years ago. I am not sure with the first high lighted area, but I do not believe the Quran implies revelation has ended. What verse is this based on? The second part I feel God called Muhammad the 'seal' rather than last of the prophets for a reason, perhaps the last prophet is not a Quranic notion. pz

Peace It is unfortunate that the quran is being linked to a language of the humanbeings. Quran is the language of Allah, the definitions of its words are with HIM and in the Luvhul Mahful wherein the Quran is established and well Guarded by Allah. Quran is not arabic language of human. Quran by itself is The Language! The language of Allah! Allah teaches Quran to whom He wishes and thereby lead him in the staright path. To claim that one shall have to be scholar in arabic language and its grammar to understrand quran - is like darwin calling monkeys father of man just because the monkeys have the qualities of human mischief. Arabs have mischievously been caliming themselves over 1500 years to be the authority for quran teachings. See what allah says to the all the people of the world who Allah shall explain Quran in detail 002, 003, 004 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. He has created man He has taught him The Explanation/Details 096.005 Taught man that which he knew not. 035.014 None can inform you like Him Who is Aware. 012076 Above every one possessed of knowledge is the All-knowing one, Allah Quran is for the illiterate, given to the unlettered prophet. Quran is not for the scholars of arabic but for the pagans too. Thus, arabs/arabic scholars shall never be asked for the meanings of Al Quran; since they aught to be excluded for they mislead the people thinking that Quran is their language, forgetting that Quran is well protected and it is with Allah. They do not even know what they have with them is The Book, the key to QURAN. 085.021, 022 Nay, this is a Glorious Qur'an, In well Guarded Luvhul mahful. Arabs/scholars/dictionaryand grammar people have no right on account of such truth, to explain quran. Let them get this straight first! What they think as Quran is infact The BOOK, the key for Quran. Their job is over with the literal translation of THE BOOK. Do dikr on the verses of the BOOK, turning your faces towards Allah. Beware of the arabic scholars! Never look up to them for explanations on Quran, for, Allah alone shall Grant the Wisdom upon who He Wishes. Those who seek the help of the arbic language are in a way become mushriks. Allah alone is sufficient for us, if we are mumins. He shall open up the Straight Way, of the heavens the Siratun Mustaqeem. drfazl

Salaamun alaikum Zenje, To me, the difference between 'alladhina haadu' and 'nasara' with those who believe and and fully-inclined muslims like Ibrahim is the element of DIRECTNESS. 9/30 tells us that haadu and nasara need uzair (comes from root wzr which denotes ministership) and al-masih (comes from msh which denotes who is 'touched') as entities close with Allah Himself (abnaa Allah). 2/111 tells us that they say 'none may enter paradise unless he's a hadu or nasara'. Once again, its all about BEING (the word KANA) is there, rather than actual participation in the process. So Zenje, imho, its all about the directness of the experience and the becoming, not being of a certain label. hope that helps.

Is Allah speaking directly to you through the Quran? Not only through Quran. Through Quran Allah just makes us understand He speaks to us all the time if you call upon Him. so not to commit shirk when in need of Guidance on any matter. Allah is always ready to speak to us anytime. When speaks, it will be an explanation of an ayat/the ayats you shall find in The Book. The explanation, the Guidance from Him to the caller thus, is Al Quran. Otherwise what We have in our hand is The Book, as Allah call us, we are just " Ahlul Kitab" 002.118 Those who have no understanding say Why does Allah not speak to us or a sign come to us? Even thus said those before them, the like of what they say; their hearts are all alike. Indeed We have made the communications clear for a people who are sure, that Allah will speak. 002.186 And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way. drfazl

Peace be upon you Doctor, You say 'Peace exists in the higher dimensions that which is not on earth. You say the mission is to bring the Peace down to the earthly dimension' I need to clarify this are these 2 different things? 'Higher dimensions and earthly dimension'? Yes and no. We get the term "individual" due to the understanding that there are two "worlds" that are an indivisible duality. There is the unseen world where energy/matter is undifferentaited and there is the seen world where energy/matter is differentiated. There is peace where there is no differentation, we should strive to bring unity to the seen world by raising our conciousness to the higher levels. If so, how is it possible that the vastness of higher dimensions can be borught down to fit into the earthly dimension? Who says it has to fit into the earthly dimensions? I am sure that only a dab will do Is it that we are to return to the source of peace and that we shall abandon the materialistic worldly knowledge which is self destructible? i.e., by ourselves being elevated and be raised up unto HIM? I disagree, we need knowledge to awaken the wisdom, how can we abandon the foundation, if the people who work on the leaning tower of Pisa abaondoned the foundation, it would have fallen a long time ago due to the UNCHANGING LAWS.

salam danish, actually i know him well and i am not sure what exactly it means to be a free-thinker/quran aloner. I have to say myself that it seems some people in the name of adhering to the Quran alone appear to go to the other extreme.. complete elimination of the ritual aspects of islam even the ones ordered in the Quran, and turn everything into mind-games and philosophy. but anyway, his articles are published in a local magazine published by the masjid, and are read by the community. the same magazine has completely traditional articles as well, so obviously it must be written in a palatable manner. but regardless of this, whether articles are written by a sunni/shia or anyone else, if the message is the truth then it is right. wassalam

Peace be upon you Burhan, What makes you think the quran only addresses Mohammed Ibn Abdullah. It addresses mankind past, present and future! And muhammed (and any sane man) understood it as God talking about him to the believers. If that works for you, then best of luck to you. There many modes in which the quran addresses the reader. God as first, second, third person singular God as first person plural God speaking directly to mohammed God asking mohammed to speak to believers God speaking directly to the believer. Your line of thinking is so bewildering that the mind boggles. Have some patience.

Peace Taj and Nabi YOU WERE the best COMMUNITY raised for mankind YOU ENJOIN WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBID WHAT IS WRONG and YOU BELIEVE IN ALLAH. If only the PEOPLE OF THE BOOK had BELIEVED, it was best for them; AMONG THEM are BELIEVERS but MOST OF THEM are perverted transgressors. 3110 Those who WERE THE BEST COMMUNITY enjoined what is RIGHT and forbid what is WRONG WHO ENJOINED THE RIGHT AND FORBID THE WRONG and who BELIEVED in Allah Not all of them are alike of the PEOPLE OF THE BOOK are a COMMUNITY (UMMAH) that stand (for the right); they rehearse the signs of Allah all night long and then prostrate themselves in adoration. 3113 They BELIEVE IN ALLAH and the Last Day; they ENJOIN WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBID WHAT IS WRONG and they (hasten in emulation) in (all) good works; they are in the RANKS of the RIGHTEOUS. 3114 IT WAS THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK (CHILDREN OF ISRAEL) WHO ENJOINED THE RIGHT AND FORBID THE WRONG AND BELIEVED IN ALLAH. Just TEN verses before, Allah commands the followers of the prophet to ENJOIN WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBID WHAT IS WRONG And let there be of you a COMMUNITY (UMMAH) inviting to all that is good ENJOINING WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBIDDING WHAT IS WRONG. And it is they who are the successful. 3104 SO IT WAS THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK (CHILDREN OF ISRAEL) THAT WAS THE BEST COMMUNITY SENT FORTH FOR THE MANKIND AND THEY ENJOINED WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBID WHAT IS WRONG AND THEY BELIEVED IN ALLAH. WHY THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK (CHILDREN OF ISRAEL) WERE THE BEST AND NOT ARE THE BEST. WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM? Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace of the posterity of Adam and of those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah and of the posterity of Abraham and ISRAEL of those whom We GUIDED and CHOSE; whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. 1958 But after them there followed a posterity who missed (FAILED TO MEET) the (COMMITMENTS) prayers and followed after lusts soon then will they face Destruction 1959 AFTER THE PASSING AWAY OF THE GUIDED AND THE CHOSEN (CHILDREN OF ISRAEL) THEIR SUCCESSORS FAILED IN THEIR COMMITMENTS AND FOLLOWED THEIR OWN LUST. And REMEMBER ye said "O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth its pot-herbs and cucumbers its garlic lentils and onions." He said "will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This, because THEY WENT ON REJECTING THE SIGNS OF ALLAH AND SLAYING HIS MESSENGERS without just cause. This, because they REBELLED and went on transgressing. 261 And REMEMBER We took your COVENANT (to this effect) shed no blood amongst you nor turn out your own people from your homes; and this ye solemnly ratified and to this ye can bear witness. 284 After this it is ye the SAME PEOPLE who SLAY among yourselves and BANISH a party of you from their HOMES; assist (their enemies) against them in guilt and rancor; and if they come to you as captives ye ransom them though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in and do ye reject the rest? But what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life? and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do. 285 THERE ARE SUFFICIENT EVIDENCES IN THE ABOVE VERSES FOR (TAJ) YOU TO KNOW WHY THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK (CHILDREN OF ISRAEL) ARE NOT THE BEST Thus have We made you an UMMAH justly balanced that ye might be WITNESSES against the MANKIND and the Apostle a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qiblah to which thou wast used only to test those who followed the Apostle from those who would turn on their heels (from the faith). Indeed it was (a change) momentous except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness Most Merciful. 2143 The verse is 3110 is ADDRESSED to the BELIEVERS around the prophet and not to all ARABS. How the WHOLE OF ARABS could ever become WITNESSES against ALL MANKIND? IT IS THE BELIEVERS (MUSLIMS) SPREAD AROUND THE WORLD, WHO WILL BE WITNESSES AGAINST ALL MANKIND. Thanks

Peace be upon you, There is some good information between the lines of this post, I need to ponder over it. The point of "Mary" being "Aarons" sister is a good observation. I think this will lead us somewhere.

Peace be upon you Mozmahe, I am sorry, I was not entirely clear withmy response. Only the part of the God that is manifested can be seen. Yes, I said it! Only the part of the God that is manifested can be seen. We cannot say that we see the God because there are unseen parts to the WHOLE. So by looking at the processes of life, we are seeing a small aspect of the Creator, but this is not a comparison, because the object can never be compared to the WHOLE(both seen and unseen). Let me try one more time, there is that which is percieved and there is that which percieves. That which percieves CANNOT be percieved by that which is percieved. I'm sure I lost somebody there

Peace be upon you Cathedral, The verse's primary meaning is about how merciful Allah is, not how we reap what we sow. That's why the part emphasizing how merciful Allah is to his servants is placed at the end. The God is only forgiving in the sense that one must STOP sowing wickedness and start sowing righteousness BEFORE forgiveness comes. The God's forgiveness is not as such that you can just go around and commit evil, then beg some object in the sky for "forgiveness". Forgiveness comes from recognizing your wrongdoings and making the adjustment(CAUSE AND EFFECT), thus bringing forgiveness from the God. Remember, the God DOES NOT change the condiion of a people UNTIL they change what is in thier minds (1311)
