I think your translation of is quite accurate. It makes sense to me. occurs in reference to Thamud and 'Aad in chapter 69. According to professor Eisenmann (an expert on the dead sea scrolls), Thamud and 'Aad refer to Edessa ('Aad) and the conversion of that place to christianity by the apostle Thomas (Thamud). Edessa became an important centre of syriac christianity very early on (mass conversions). In 201 the city was devastated by a great flood. This is what Quran is referring to. The flood is explained in the Quran as a local apocalypse- a preview of judgment day if you like, similar to that of sodom and gomorrah - a punishment from God for those who rejected and turned back. This is a very brief summary of Eisenmans understanding, if you are interested in a more elaborate explanation of 'Aad and Thamud go to this link I think the rest of your translation fares poorly. You removed the obvious references to Hell and Hellfire which are by principle always key elements in the quranic accounts of destruction and apocalypse. Quran uses natural disaster repetitively as metaphors for hell/apocalypse/judgment day. In what way is your post of any relevance to the butchered meaning in the OP's invented translation? You are just promoting your garbaggio and it would seem you still have no grasp over Quran. You are confused, lost not even a Muslim at that trying to misguide readers. God is one, everything is one. Your proposal as to the reminder divides existence between us who are already naturally endowed and God, who if He did not exist we would not even notice. It is not so, and the Qur'an tells us it is not so. Everything is one. If God did not create every single instance our ecistence and everything else's existence, everything would vanish, nothing would be. God is the One source of everything and anything. If the source ceases everything ceases. We are not alone, we are not eings alone, we are beings that are part of the One thing. We are tied to God whether we state tht in words or never thing of stting such a thing or even the idea of God.And our intimste self knows it. Tht is why "atheists" can be moral. And that intimate being tht knows is the remembrance of our real being, the remembrance of God, of our continuous source. The source of each one of our instants. Peace, In the verses which You translated (I assume), it speaks about that one should strive. But stive for what exactly? What actions or chain of actions makes you closer to your foundation? Is not like everything about the bible just theories? Even the "authors" of the gospels are not even for certain (according to some sources they were added later in the text). The composition of the Biblical Gospels is according to the viewpoint of Eysua's followers (and including their bias), but I do consider the recorded utterances to actually be of him. There is however also a linguistic barrier between the translations we have and the original utterance, as Eysua spoke a dialect of Aramaic/Aramaya and what we have is translated from ancient Greek. For example what translators translate as "son of" means something else in our languages. It is not as easy as to plainly translate it as "son". If you search beyond the canonical Gospels in the Bible you can find interesting deviations of the testament, but still Eysua's sayings remain basically the same although in sometimes different viewpoints. In one collection of sayings they have just saved his quotes and no storytelling. That makes them simple hadith, but one needs to reflect upon what the man is actually seen saying. And the NT is not a divine revelation (per traditional perception of what "divine revelation" is) at all but the testimony of what individual people have heard and seen, plus potential clerical bias inserted. And the authors of the Gospels were as you say not certain about what it was Eysua said, such as on the execution day but they only speculated on what he might have said. He used the word amen which the authors seem to have had trouble translating despite that it means "be sure". I still am certain the authors did translate from an Aramaic source and tried to find some translation of what he had said. And we yet have to find that original source. Despite that unreliability, I would definitely rank those writings as very interesting teachings when taken into the proper light and away from Christian dogma. It is difficult to reconcile them with the traditional (sectarian) interpretation of Quran, but that does not necessarily mean they are wrong but the issue is Quran itself and its interpretation. Quran does however emphasize on Eysua IBN Miryem for a reason and that reason being the misconception about "son" which has been used for centuries. Quran explains the phenomenon in other ways therefore instead and retains no one is the biological son of God (i.e. a separate entity besides God) and that the "son of God" phrase means on a spiritual level by the being as God in spirit, and diminishing any other being of you so you and God are in the same Oneness. And for that one needs to defeat themselves, cease being separated and a standalone unit and work symbiotically with God. That is what is referred to as "son of God" in the Gospels but sadly misconceived. And it is for that I am in ignorance considered an associator ("mushrik&quot in this forum by some people. Peace, The labels (mecca, medinah) , and surah names, punctuation, sajda marks etc are not actually part of the Quran, as far as I understand. And neither are the vowel marks, they are just the 'reading' of it. Never mind what's where and what is labeled just seek to understand it and ask for God's help in understanding it, the Quran is full of laws, suggestions, advice and guidance, but God revealed it gradually, not all at once which is why it can seem like it is disorganized. I read the verse as 'and do not eat that which you have not remembered the name of God upon it, indeed that is corruption'... God clearly explains what is lawful and what is not, and it is addressed to the believers/ those with Faith 'Why should you not eat upon that which the name of God has been remembered when he has detailed that which is forbidden to you'... Peace, What specifically are you referring to? As far as I know the only mixed surah is number 9 where the last two verses are labeled meccan while the surah is medinan if I recall correctly, which was one evidence used to rashad khalifa in his research to prove that they were false additions to the Quran, they have an article on submission.org on them. In all honesty as far as I can ascertain we have no way of actually verifying what surahs were revealed where, As the order and place of revelation is based on hadiths, except what the Quran itself actually provides as clues to the whereabouts and activities of the people and events it refers to. As always it pays to verify things ourselves as much as practical and not follow after that which we have no knowledge of as the Quran recommend

First of all, I don't want and I can't forbid anybody to chose name for themselves. There're at least 3 names in the Qur'an for people we know as Jews. There're at least 3 types of Jews, recognized as those from Beni Israil, Khazars and Ethiopian Jews. Are all of these mentioned in ayets brother talked about? No. Christians? I think there's no need to comment. But the question is not about what we understand as Jews and Christians, the question is about Ehl-ul-Kitab or Ool-ul-Kitab. What we are doing wrong is that we're taking ayets partially, as some of its words are not important. Allah swt told us "min qablikum" (before you). Who and what? If El-Kitab is understood as "The Book" then it doesn't matter how we'll understand the rest of this ayet (or any). If we understand the word El-Kitab properly, then we should think about whole ayet 55. This is one of most important ayets in the Qur'an. It is inconsistent to consider Al-kateb to mean the book. Bismillah Next ayet 214 is proof that these humans in 213 and before (munafiqoon) are followers of jinns, who are sheytans. They're telling reality (haqq) from their belief (qalb) to sheytans (jinns) and they share same belief (qalb). This belief (qalb) comes from jinns, and humans who're laughing at other humans are most certanly under sheytanic influence, with or w/o knowledge about it. Sheytans cannot be of humans, they're from two kind of jinns (el-jinnet) el-ins and el-jinn. Sheytan is something which drives you to primitive activities, to be an animal.

Arabic derived words are based upon mathematical formula like 1+1 =2. Root meanings + Measure meanings = Resultant word's meaning. Kitaab It's root is Kaf-Ta-Ba meanings "he wrote that he learned or heard" form/measure . It's meanings is "to flee or run away. Now combine above two, the root and form/measure meanings. It result in the meaning of derived word Kitaab, "to run away from learned written collection" or "to flee from his written learned collection". Regards,

Slave is a bit self-derogatory. But it is true we have limited control over the world. Diseases will haunt us even if we have a will against them. We do not decide when we die although we can often prolong it by treating the body well. But the world we know is a corrupting environment and meant to defeat its inhabitants. Yet I have difficulty considering myself a victim that the term slave would imply. And I know I can be valued by God if I prove myself worthy and sharp. God can do whatever God wills with my body, but my spirit seed is my own and I am in control of it. But perhaps it will remain until the wiping out of the world and I am terminated with it, if I would fail. There are many many ways to improve the patience. One begins by ceasing to chase the commodities of this world and not trying to be on top of the mountain or pyramid (parable). To have empathy for all the deluded people in the world greatly helps to be patient. If you see people for the victims of the corrupting world they are, then it is easier to be patient. When, when you can see people as enslaved to themselves, then it is much easier to be patient since you rather pity them. When you can defeat your own ego, then you can find it easier to be patient and endure your life. Try to be saved through being, and you can control emotions and emotions put stress on your patience. Patience is to control anger, not generating the frustration that you become angry and for that you need to follow the previously written in defeating yourself and your identity of this illusive world. Try to improve this world and then feel your obvious failure is due to you, you shall only be saddened and affect your patience, since the world is intended to corrupt people and it is its purpose to ruin many human souls. Accept the world for the chaotic mayhem it is and you shall find patience. Understand God's intention with the temporary grounds and you shall have patience and you may understand the only efficient activity that be involved in is to be a "fisher of men", i.e. instead of seeking every person on Earth you lay out a bait and wait for the one's interested in it, and only the witted shall take the bait while the rest are stuck in their delusion not evolved enough to perceive the fine bait laid out. That can be compared to if you lit a light, but people are too disoriented to find their way to it and keep fumbling around in the darkness because they have heard that particular light is deceiving while their hearsay says there is a light elsewhere which does not exist. Or the parable of "The person who lit a light but did not keep it maintained and it vanished and left them in the darkness. Would you go to someone who can make the light return or would you follow those who only leave you out in the darkness to shiver?" Patience is easier when one has a perspective, and that a good one. Not the perspective of someone in the darkness and whose god is hateful, burns people in a fire forever for no progressive benefit and who commands people to follow laws but does not follow them himself. That is not an advanced being and below what you would expect of a Rabb or developer as the word actually means in English. All that matters is development and anyone lacking in development will fail eventually when the world becomes increasingly against them. The world will eventually be destroyed and so with all its present inhabitants who will be annihilated never to return. Their souls will be destroyed. And at that time Rabb will rinse and repeat with another cycle of existence, a new world. All Rabb is focused on is development and in that is evaluation and sifting. The successful people in that finished cycle will be controllers/managers (angels/maleika) and part of the authority over those below them who are submitted to trial and testing. They will be in Rabb and Rabb in them, they are not separate for the true reality is absolute oneness. Your God is not two, three or four or more but One. Each of you is but a mere drop in the Grand Consciousness of Rabb. Everything is contained within the grasp or palm of God (metaphorical), and while Heaven is God's couch then Earth is his footstool. Rest assured you have been fed disinformation for whole your lives. You do often have the wrong/dark perspective of things and people who wave with something which looks like an ignition but cannot kickstart your spirit. What is the use of having a vehicle if you have no fuel? And without the very best fuel the vehicle will not reach far enough and as far as you need to go. The parable of the light in the darkness is yet the best one. If one cannot keep the light lit then one will be forced to see in the darkness. Or as Eysua once said "The blind cannot lead the blind". Is it better to follow the blind one or a seer? Learn to recognize the blind ones by taking from the light I offer you. "Let the dead care for their dead". They are without perception, they are with clouds all around them and in the delusion of the world. They cannot see the light because the fog is too dense around them. Disperse the fog from as many as you can, but most importantly be concerned about your own fog clouding your mind and remember the world is on purpose against you, it is "programmed" set to corrupt you. The war with ISIS is not war of opinion, it's truly a war of survival and establishing order and protecting civilian who are suffering under their territory.
