Amen is mentioned in Quran, many times. One example is "amen b'Allah". It is a word of the language and functions as such. And you can use it for what it means, i.e. to say you have confidence in something.

Peace bro imrankhawaja I am not trying to win an argument, or maybe my point was not well formulated, however, I am simply asking, do you conclude that culture plays no role in determining a persons perception of right and wrong. culture come after. humanity comes first... making marijuan legal in netherland , does not mean if we consume it we did a right thing.. and or if we consume marijuna in netherland laws are different.. compared to other countires, crime and sin are two different things.. a cultural crime may not a be sin infront of God ( uncover the head of womens= cultural crime) a sin according to God law is not a cultural crime also ( homosexuality in some countries ) hope u got it now... but what we know in all of these a women just cover her head due to the cultural fear otheriwse she feel easy when there is no one around to uncover her head... on other hand a country like uk if we make a relationship with boy we have a inner fear of God that we are doing something wrong.. the sense of right and wrong is a gift to us .... including lot of other gifts... sense of taste, sense of hearing, sense of speaking , sense of smelling ... sense of watching by eyes.. sometimes a sense active called sixth sense.. probably that sixth sense is actually inner sense of soul/spirit/ character of ourself that tell us difference between good and evil...

There are 3 kinds of out of body experience, and in all of those you are having a real experience "Normal" dreams Fuzzy, not that clear, no control over the dream, having some "super" powers. Lucid dreams Crystal clear as if you are awake, may or may not have control over dream (depending on the level of your spiritual progress), have "super" powers like you described. I've never heard of that perspective before. o I've always had some degree of control when lucid... There is only a time or two that I can distinctly remember loosing my awareness and slipping back into a normal, fuzzy dream. All the other times the dreams have simply ended and I've woken up. The reason is when you are having out of body experience (OOB) of any kind, your spirit body gets out of your physical body, while still attached to it (analogy is a flashlight, when you switch it on, light beam travels away from it while still being "attached" to it). When your spirit body gets out of the 3rd density physical body, it is a 6th density existence, the same existence as you have after death (your Higher Self - details in law of one). In 6th density existence you have a lot of advanced spiritual abilities naturally, like some of what you described. Now you know how the lifestyle of 6th density entities feels like! Haha. ) I've always thought that the "lucid dreaming" state would feel exactly like full-dive MMORPGS, when we eventually get there. I'd expect more stability in said gaming experience though. In this state you have no veil of forgetfulness and if you want you can travel to any higher dimension in any universe and you can also travel freely in time just like you travel in space. So you can go back to one of your past lives, or travel to future lives etc. You can also interact with other spirit bodies of various densities, for example you can meet your friends who are also having the OOB, or your deceased relatives, or higher density entities (like jibreel for example), or spirit guides in the astral planes etc. There is no limit. The more spiritually advanced you are, the more you can do and "see". You can even go to the Akashic library where record of everything is stored (lawh mahfouz - 8522), and watch your own 3D holographic movie about your past, present or future life for example. I've read of a lot of what people have tried during lucid dreaming. Some of it is really awesome. I haven't been able to do a lot though. I seemed to have pretty good control of my body (I recognized I didn't have a physical form and I wasn't bound by gravity and the like). I also had the ability to "materialize" and manipulate aspects of my environment. But anything too large, complex, or something that lacked a solid image in my mind - I had difficulty creating. I was never able to accomplish it. Curious... do you know how any of this fits into hypnosis? I've always wondered if someone with strong mental abilities would be able to be hypnotized at all. Astral projection You can do all of the above at will, without going to sleep, and you have complete control. Lucid dreaming is one step below this, and there are "masters" of astral projection also and you can learn how to perform it from their teachings. It is like experiencing what you will see after death, before actually dying. You will see a silver "cord" attaching you to your physical body during the astral projection, which will tell you you are still alive. One of them said what was written in 528, and the other said what was written in 529. One brother was peaceful; the other wanted to kill. The one who said the words in 529 is the one who ended up killing his brother, and we're told in the verses following that he went to Hell. Salam, 528-29 is the same person. 527 And recite to them the news of the two sons of Adam with truth. They had both made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and not accepted from the other. He said ?I will kill you!? He said ?God only accepts from the righteous.? 528 ?If you stretch your hand to kill me, I will not stretch my hand to kill you, for I fear God, Lord of the worlds.? 529 ?I want you to have both my sin and your own sin, and you will then be among the dwellers of the Fire. Though the topic is interesting-If one kills a believer (or was the murdered son only a submitter?) will the murderer take the sins of the murdered with him? Salam all A good conclusion. But I wonder how many after that discussion which was years ago remain with the old translation referring to prostitution. And how many were left with that knowledge that seems to allow prostitution today? Clearly the early translations were not consistent with the rest of the Quran but not many have the interest to point it out. Maybe a point to be place in Common inconsistencies in old translations of the Quran. I am working in Spanish to the best of my capacity inexegesis of which a great part is trnaslation, because translation itself force you to go to the minutest aspects of words and words relationship. Now hold that thought go to surah 97 Al Qadr.. Allah says the Quran came down during the night of decree and what can make you know what is the night of decree? It is better then a thousand months, peace it is until the emergence of dawn .. Dawn means Fajr in Arabic .. So what fajr is Allah talking about its Fajr every day .. Put surah 97 together with surah 53 .. If Yu ponder Allah is telling us that the Quran came down while Sirius star is setting the sun is rising at Fajr .. Only on November 26 the sun is rising at dawn and Sirius star is setting they literally meet at the horizon !! What makes something special? When it happens once a year right ? Every year it does this .. So Ramadan would be in November going in to December .. And if I'm wrong brothers and sisters correct me but how can I be in error if I follow Quran alone .. Also it can't be the moon for sure!! Also research the 3 false dieties Allah mention in Surah 53 Al Lat Al Manat and Al uzza .. Al manat was worshiped as the black stone .. I strongly believe that Classical Arabic grammar and lexicon are to be used in understanding the Quran. It would seem that you believe otherwise. Debate cannot continue without common ground. Peace! I am convinced that many verses say to not pray to anybody except Allah and to seek only protection from Him. And i believe that in our prayer we should not usu any other names than the name of Allah. But not only Prophets are described, that is my conclusion after reading surah 3720 to 3734. And here we do not read that Allah says praying to my slaves,like in some other verses, he excludes them from going to hell, the ones that are described are the ones who tricked the others and who do not believe that they will get another life and that they will be judged for their deeds.This can be also imams and scholars. This my current understanding. Yes Brother, it can be prophets, holy men, imams and all other beings a person takes as a conduit when asking for help from our Rabb. Here are the verses and the words in bold; 283 And We took the covenant of the Children of Israel ?You shall not serve except God, and do good to your parents, and regard the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and say kind things to the people, and hold the contact prayer, and contribute towards purification.? But then you turned away, except for a few of you; you were objecting. 1.Covenant= Is it like contract or agreement? 2917 "You are worshipping nothing except idols besides Him, and you are creating fabrications. Those that you worship besides God do not possess for you any provision, so seek with God the provision and serve Him and be thankful to Him; to Him you will return." 2.Fabrications= Figment/fiction or falsification/forgery? Which one is closer a synonym? 3.Provisions= Just need to make sure, in this context it's about food etc, and not anything to do with legal system? 12111 In their stories is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. It is not a narration that has been invented, but to affirm what is between his hands and a detailing of all things, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. 4.Intelligence=literally intelligence or leaning more towards understanding/comprehension? 3923 God has sent down the best narrative, a Book that is similar, dual. It only translates to either a duel or double. 327 The One who perfected everything He created and He began the creation of the human being from clay. 6.The One= Unfortunately there is no translation for this other than "The Correct". If it was from any other than God they would have found in it many a discrepancy. 7.Discrepancy= Closer to deviation or to contradiction? 1018 And they serve besides God what does not harm them or benefit them, and they say ?These are our intercessors with God.? Say ?Are you informing God of what He does not know in the heavens or the earth?? Be He glorified and exalted above what they set up. 3944 Say ?To God belongs all intercession.? To Him belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, then to Him you will be returned. 8.Intercessor and intercession translates into different words= Intercessor becomes synonymous with advocate while intercession with mediation. I have been leaning more towards mediators and mediation for both. Which is the correct? 6114 ?Shall I seek other than God as a judge when He has sent down to you the Book fully detailed?? Those to whom We have given the Book know it is sent down from your Lord with the truth; so do not be of those who have doubt. 9.Judge= A bad comparison but is it like who sits in a court and judges with a hammer? 643-48 A revelation from the Lord of the worlds. And had he attributed anything falsely to Us. We would have seized him by the right. Then, We would have severed his life-line. None of you would be able to prevent it. And this is a reminder for the righteous. 10.What does "by the right mean"? 548 And We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, affirming what is between your hands of the Book and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and if God had willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you; so race to do good. To God you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute. 11.Superseding it= like replace or succeed (something)? 12.Nation=To Swedish it translates to nation (country etc) and to folk. 13.Race= This is confusing, in this context does it mean race as in contest or to hurry (to do good)? 3945 And when God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are filled with aversion; and when others are mentioned besides Him, they rejoice! 14.Aversion= Is it disgust, distaste, antipathy? I will get back to you on this one, god willing the arabic in this verse just means 'Who' it is a relative masculine singular pronoun, i would say it is literaly 'He who' i would say contradiction i would agree, it is the concept of mediation and mediator i would say a law-maker i believe you must have put the incorrect verse number, ill get back to that one though, god willing i believe in this context it means that it is a criterion over the previous scriptures, so not replacing, but suceeding, though i will, god willing have to look into that further 12-13 do you have verse references.. the only verse i can think of with race is the 'race to forgiveness from your lord, and a paradise, the width of which encompassess the heaves and the earth' but i presume you mean Race as in the proper noun, a group of people who have the same genes i would say aversion is like avoidance, prehaps denial, seems to fit, and thats definately what the idol worshippers do.. All thanks is due to God, by the way if you are translating the quran.. im not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve, but here are some tools you may find usefull http//corpus.quran.com -- the quranic arabic corpus, it gives the grammar of every arabic word in the quran, there occurances etc, although, there meanings are often not very accurate, the grammar generaly is. http//www.studyquran.co.uk/PRLonline.htm -- Project root list -- it gives the meaning of the arabic root words, where they occur, there different forms, and also links to other lexicons, etc. both of theese you can download in text or PDF form for free. also quranix.org has a great side by side translation, of about 7 different translations, i think its avaliable in different languages.. zekr is also a great study tool, for finding verses etc, has arabic and english, and features like root word search, etc. although by default it comes with horrible Y.Ali miss-translation Prayer - theres realy no substiture, ask Gods guidance, and he is good at helping us.

It is great you have decided to read the Qur'an, keep reading, you shall not be disappointed. As for the repetition, I agree with everyone here about the same important concepts being repeated multiple times, but I also highly agree with Timotheus about the memorizing scheme. This is why learning Arabic is so important if you want to study Al-Qur'an in my opinion. I will post here one example which I have found just recently. Translation Arabic Transliteration Surah Ash-Shams - The Sun 911 By the sun and its brightness Washshamsi waduhaha 912 And the moon when it follows it Walqamari itha talaha 913 And the day when it displays it Wannahari itha jallaha 914 And the night when it covers it Wallayli itha yaghshaha Surah Al-Layl - The Night 921 By the night when it covers Wallayli itha yaghsha 922 And the day when it appears Wannahari itha tajalla As you can see the wording is almost exactly the same, key word almost, as it is actually quite different when you recite it in Arabic. In my opinion, that difference is key as it helps you to remember, and tell apart, one chapter from another, and one verse from another. If you want to see what that might sound like I am sure you can search for someone reciting these chapters on You Tube. The repetition is not exact repetition if you read the book in Arabic, a verse that might sound the same in the English translation could actually have a different meaning, sound, and feel in the original Arabic language. I also noticed while writing this that these chapters are The Sun and The Night respectively, they also reverse the order of how they introduce Day "nahar" and Night "layl" to correspond with their titles in their respective verses. Alhamdullilah, this is a great example. and i agree, the quran does seem alot more repetitive in english, because the english translation misses things which are very hard to translate, or for other reasons.. there are many subtle differences in wording of the arabic in many of theese verses, which more or less in not easily translated. even the best attempt to render the meaning of the quran, by any human being, is by nature limited, especialy when translating into another language, Thankfully though, God has stated that language is not important, that 'Whether it is arabic, or non arabic, for those who believe, it is a guidance and a mercy' I recommend patience, when studying the quran, and asking God for guidance, He is good to us, and he answers our prayers and gives us understanding if we are genuine. Because God is teacher of the Quran, we dont need anyone else, while it helps to know arabic, The majority of the book is clear, and easy to understand in any language, god willing. a fact we often see in the 'secterian islamic world' where they have all theese learned scholars in arabic, and yet they do not even understand the most clear and consice statement like 'The testimony of God, the Angels, and those with knowledge is "la ilaha ila hu" (There is no God except Him)' or the concept of 'fully detailed book' All we need is God. He is the one who is all knowing, and can readily help us to understand the quran 'The Most Gracious, who taught the Quran' Surah al-rahman, The Most Gracious, (54? from memory its number 55) verses 1-2 Peace be upon you, and may god bless you and have mercy upon you, and increase you in guidance

this has, god willing probably already been covered, but, i believe this leaves no room for any argument against following the quran alone as a source of law "Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?" 6114 "And We brought down to you the scripture, truthfully, confirming what is present of the scripture, and superseding it. So rule among them in accordance with what God has brought down, and do not follow their wishes away from the truth that came to you." 548 theese verses leave little room for misinterperetation, its obvious the Quran is fully detailed, and that we should follow it not follow anything contrary to it ( i.e Hadith) and in regards to Hadith themselves... "So in which Hadith, other than this, do they believe" 7750 "These are God's revelations that We recite to you truthfully. In which hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe?" 456 "Among the people, there is one who trades in baseless hadith to mislead from the path of God without knowledge and he does it as a mockery. For these is a humiliating punishment.? 316 " ..... This (Quran) is not fabricated hadith, but an authentication of what is with you, a detailed account of all things and guidance and mercy for people who believe." 12111 God obviously dissapproves of Hadith, sadly, the hadith followers even follow there hadiths, to find out the meaning of the word hadith ( a logical fallacy; circular logic ) which they have decided in the quran actualy is talking about Music and Poetry. an obvious falsehood, which contradicts many other verses in the Quran. Some people get around this by saying, well hadith are just advice (or some other excuse), but we have to follow the Sunnah. However, i cannot even see any logic in that because the Sunnah is just the the practice of the hadith... but, god has already covered all angles (as he tells us, he revealed the book fully detailed) "Such was the sunna of God for those who have passed on before. You will find that there is no substitute for the sunna of God." 3362 Here we see you cant substitute Gods sunnah for the Scholars lies attributed to Muhammad. Peace.

But does the Quranic evidence suggests that the word Malaika means angels (female creatures with wings)? Quran 37150 Or did We create the Malaika as females while they witnessed? The laws/controllers (malaikatiy) are primary messengers created from the double (mathna) sided (ajnihatin) helix using three codons (thulatha) out of four base nucleotides (rubaaa). Peace The Guided One, How can someone follow Quran when not knowing that it exists? How about praying, zakat and fasting? How can someone follow Quran when he or she never read it? My point is that God is the Supreme and only Teacher. If God wills to guide someone, He doesn't necessarily need to guide them to a physical book. IMO the Qur'an speaks primarily of believing in God, understanding and being mindful of the fact that He is the One in control of it all, and making the right choices (such as being a good and helpful person, and staying away from evil and major sins). Also your question about prayer, zakat and fasting goes into the whole "muslim vs mumin" debate. I am just talking about being a muslim here; not a mumin. I really would like the verse where i can read that animals were created before humans, i did not read such verse or i might have overlooked it. To my knowledge there is no such verse in Qur'an that says animals were created before humans. I said that because if you accept the theory of evolution, you accept that animals were here first. I believe the Bible story of creationism accepts that animals were here before Adam as well.

There are many things that the Qur'an says which leave plenty of room for a lot, but that is our freedom to discover and exxperiment and experience. It owuld e impossible in a book or in a thousand to set the limits to absolutely everything. Clearly it leaves it to our apppreciation and conscience.It may also refer to the principles, our fitra. A to what God expects, fromus I think He exppects ANYTHING. He should know, and indeed He knows. Salaam

Assalmu Alaikum everyone! Just wondering? why must we say "Audhu Billahi mina-Shaitan-nir-Rajeem" each time before we say "Bismillah Ar Rehman Ar Raheem?" Aren't we putting more importance on the devil by mentioning him first and placing the devil side by side with God??? Which name came first did you say? In what order the names come when you utter your mantras, doesn't change a thing. What you put importance on is determined by your thinking and actions, not mere utterances. What is important is what we think, intend and feel when we utter things, not the words themselves. Form is not greater than essence.... something religious people often seem to forget. Second of all... what says that you must say something before something else?
