Online versions leave out some marks. For example initially, I missed Shadda over Miim in Alif Lam Miim. It was due to pointing out of a reader that I looked it up in written book version. Otherwise, there is no telling of meaning with out history/hadith, which is current is the case for most of the translation. Surah 111 1 ** * Become lost and suffer diminution; hide it due refusal and voluntary abstinence as well lack of earnest sincerity to it. Absolutely correct. All in all, leaving aside the intrinsic meanings/lessons in these verses we can see this as a clear demonstration of the precise nature of the language of the quran. God gives us that contrast between points A and points B. In the first verse point B is emphasised, in the second, point A is emphasised. That's why there must be at least a community who live around Mecca focus on subsistence agriculture at that times. is that possible? First of all Saudi Arabia has no lakes or rivers. Rainfall is slight and irregular over most of the country. Previous message has some information about Asir Province which close to the Yemen border and aslo south neighbour of Makkah Province. Geographically, the Asir region is situated on a high plateau that receives more rainfall than the rest of the country and contains the country's highest peaks, which rise to almost 3000 metres. For example Abha which is the capital of Asir province is situated at 2200 meters above sea level on the other hand Mecca, the capital of Makkah Province, is just at a height of 277 meters above sea level. There is huge difference, roundly 2000 meters, between the altitudes that makes climate so distinct although these regions are very close to each other. Please give attention to this sentence "highland farmers also grow quince, plums, cherries, walnuts, olives, pomegranates and many kinds of grapes " helps us to better understand that altitude is very important due to change climate and therefore to grow fruits such as olives and pomegranates which are called in ayat 6141 we have to live highland regions in Saudi Arabia. so i think it seems impossible.

My question, if its not understandable, would be more specifically about the interest or the word "ribaa" in 2275 and many more...does it relate to zakat and not giving it or is it in the traditional sence " interest"? Thanks.

Salam Harun Similarly Hell tempts people to abstain from Sins only for the "Fear 0f the Fire" and not for the "Love of the Lord". Such wrong interpretations of the Book plainly contradict the beautiful proverb"One should do good and avoid even if not Heaven and Hell exist" God says in the Quran once from Muslims that they have entered into Islam, but that they are not yet believers - as we are not believers when we don't commit sins from fear of hell. Paradise and Hell are allegorical and why? because they want to make us think and in the end it will lead us to recognize that we always reap what we have premised - the end of this path should be peace and love, then we will get that. i don't know if this really helps jedi peace

Shalom, I was wondering about muhammad's copy of Qur'an. It never made sense. I was looking at these letters sent by Muhammad to the surrounding empires. I remember reading or watching somewhere , that he sent around 300 letters. My question is, considering the larger than poster size of the letters. Why did he not care to write the Qur'an down ????
