Peace Denis, ) It appears that some people have been preferred over others in this world. Though, with that preference comes a greater responsibility. 1721 See how We have preferred some of them over the others; and in the Hereafter are greater levels, and greater preference. The mentally ill or lower functioning individuals may or may not be able to perceive the message. Even if those who warn were to come to them, they may lack the ability to comprehend the message, and so they would not be able to accept it or even reject it. 3537 And they will scream in it "Our Lord, let us out, and we will work righteousness instead of the works we used to do." Did We not give you a long life so that he who would remember would take heed, and a warner came to you? Therefore, taste, for the transgressors will have no supporter. In order for someone to take heed, they must first have the ability to do so, correct? If they are lacking in this ability, then how are they to be judged? Only God knows this. To be honest, I have not found any verses that specifically address the issue. However, I can deduce that God's judgement would be fair and just in regard to these populations. How can one be punished for something that they are unable to perceive through no fault of their own? It is not a conscious decision to reject, but rather there is confusion in regard to what one is to accept or reject. It really depends on the duration of the illness, and whether there were times when the person was able to perceive their actions. Sometimes people develop a mental disability later in life or gradually begin to recover. Actually, there are so many factors involved in this. I just leave this judgement up to God, as I know that He is the best of judges. He has given me sense to understand the difference between a mental condition and defiance that is knowingly committed. Though, even then, there is room for error, and the absolute knowledge lies with Him. 3426 Say "Our Lord will gather us together then He will judge between us with truth. He is the Judge, the Knowledgeable." I agree with Youssef here in that the soul is inclined toward evil. 1253 "And I do not make myself free of blame, for the soul is inclined to sin, except what my Lord has mercy on. My Lord is Forgiving, Merciful." Still, we cannot claim innocence in knowing this. We are also inclined toward doing good. We've been given free will, and these are decisions we need to make. We inclined toward evil because of our greed, our ego, etc. 6812 For bidder of charity, a transgressor, a sinner. 6813 Unappreciative, and greedy. 6814 Because he possessed money and children. 6815 When Our revelations are recited to him, he says "Tales from the past!" 6816 We will mark him on the path. ...and onward.. This is the best I could do in trying to explain my thoughts on your questions. I hope it is of some benefit to you, God willing.

The Quran states, at least in the Hafs reading, that you MAY take the place of abraham AS A PLACE of doing salat (e.g a mosque) where does it say anything about salaat? "Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance for the nations. In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any need of the worlds." S. 396-7 Shakir Now do you enter the house for security or the standing place of Abraham? In reality you can't do either?! can you? peace

007035 "O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from among you, rehearsing My verses (Arabic ayati) to you, those who are righteous and mend (their lives), on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve" here yes guidance from Allah continues 002038 ?We said Go down / forth, all of you, from hence; but verily there comes to you from Me a guidance; and whosoever follows My guidance, there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve? 020123 ?He said Go down hence, both of you, one of you an enemy to the other. But when there comes to you from Me a guidance, then whosoever follows My guidance, he will not go astray nor come to grief? 039071 ?And those who disbelieve are driven unto hell in troops till, when they reach it and the gates of them are opened, and the warders of them will say to them Came there not to you messengers of your own, reciting to you the revelations of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this your Day? they say Yes, verily. But the word of doom of disbelievers is fulfilled? 006048 ?We send the messengers only to give good news and to warn so those who believe and mend (their lives), upon them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve? This can also be noted with respect to Prophet Noah (pbuh) who must have had support as there is a reference to a plurality of messengers. 026.105 ?The people of Noah rejected the messengers? also 025037 ?And the people of Noah, when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them and We made them as a Sign for mankind and We have prepared for (all) wrong-doers a grievous Penalty? Please also note the plurality in the following verses 026.123 ?The Ad (people) rejected the messengers? 026.141 ?The Thamud (people) rejected the messengers? 026.160 ?The people of Lut rejected the messengers? 026.176 "The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers" It is clear that there seems to be more than one 'messenger' working in tandem and as an aid to the 'central figure' delivering the message of God to these communities. This is further seen in the plurality of messengers in Surah (Chapter) Yasin when two messengers were sent and were then strengthened with a third (3614) It appears from these verses that anyone who assists in delivering the message or acts as a henchman along with the appointed messengers, is also referred to as a ?Messenger? peace ) This is good explanation with regards to 0735 & 3340. and also 1047 - And for every nation a Messenger....... peace

Peace I always knew that there was something very wrong in the way that verse was understood by the sectarians. Why would God prescribe "beating" even as a last resort? When has abuse every solved anything? If anything, I think it would create more tension in the marriage. I have read both perspectives (Bakhtiar and Wakas), and may God reward both of them for their efforts. Exactly...as if beating your wife is going to somehow make her love you more and make her want to stay.

Say, "I seek refuge in Allah" why do you think (care) about others? In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Say, "O you disbelievers. "I do not worship what you worship. "Nor do you worship what I worship. "Nor will I ever worship what you worship. "Nor will you ever worship what I worship. "To you is your religion, and to me is my religion." each one is accountable to redeem his own soul, and responsible for his own self! Don't you people read the Qur'an? God is teaching and explaining it! Or you think that you can be partners with Him and help Him elucidate the ayats? rotfl Always ask only God to help you understand His Words! GOD points out the paths, including the wrong ones. If He willed, He could have guided all of you.

BRING YOUR PROOF IF YOUR ARE TRUTHFUL! Need proof/evidence. No to blind faith. Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for God. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders." (657)

Don't take it form me because i'm not so sure, since God commands us to be rightful witnesses, even against ourselves...but i guess maybe when your oppressed or trying to save someone's life.... the benefit would be greater than the sin.... i guess if you do it in a goodly nature..... 4028 And a believing man from the family of Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, "Do you kill a man because he says, 'My Lord is God' while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? And if he should be lying, then upon him is his lie; but if he should be truthful, there will strike you some of what he promises you. Indeed, God does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar. (2 Whoever disbelieves in God after his belief... except for one who is forced while his heart is secure in faith. But those who open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from God , and for them is a great punishment; (16106) God knows best...

Salaam, Ervin, Firstly, in order to find out what is unwarranted revenge nd what is justice, you must determine whether what the purported transgressor has done or is doing is really causing harm, unfair harm, may be he is also taking revenge or justice. If he is doing harm, then you are right to fight him or her in the most intelligent and les harmful way. If to get justice you cause still more unjustice, may be you should go about it some other way. Revenge, for the sake of revenge, is not healthful nor good for you, avoid it. But if your not doing something to stop opression is going to assist in that opression, then it is better to act. I really pray that you get through your life with all the light and wisdom God may give you. It is a complicated life and a great trial for you. Surely God will be satisfied with all your efforts at healing and improving and for you social endeavours for the best causes. Just try to be patient and cautious. Indeed we are all messengers for everybody else. We are what we are through everybody else and it is good that we are conscious of that part of our being so that we give the others the best of us. Your feelings of peace and of God's presence are undoubtedly a great help to love God and life in general and be as good to His creatures as you can and give your prayers for them. Best wishes and regards Salaam

Assalamu Aleykum ) "This Day, I have perfected your law for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen for you Submission (Al-Islam) as the System of Life" (53). Give me an explanation, please ) Forbidden to you (for food) are dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah. eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it and fear Allah. for Allah is swift in taking account. This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). I think the Quran here is saying that with foods we can eat and whom we can marry the deen of Islam is now completed for you in terms of everything you need to know that God wanted you to know about God's ways.

Translation means to transcribe in target language what is stated in the original language, not that what different readers might perceive. Here there are no men and women that one could feel like that. When the subject and object are men and women, there it means to arouse to feel physical desire, stimulate favorably to feel enjoyment or pleasurable anticipation, or stimulate unfavorably to feel nervous apprehension or an unpleasant state of heightened emotion; to make more active. ??? hypno ermm, ok peace
