Salaam Mazhar, I also find your site difficult to read, but I appreciate very much the effort and great work. bravo Maybe one suggestion is to change the format of the site, and make it more neat and bigger font, and somehow visually more friendly if possible? Just a suggestion, because it is somewhat tiring to browse thru it, although a good thing is that the click opens a new page... ) Thank you Bender for bringing this up peace Peace

Okay, now let me further surprise you by telling that the deficient Verb Kana converts the past affair into distant past. And if it is followed by imperfect verb it signifies the meaning of past continuous.

Is this really a valid argument in your opinion? o Only because you haven't heard someone saying something, you think it cannot be in the Qur'an? Salam. No, I were just trying to suggest that what you perceived as translation "I do not swear" was a thought in vacuum, hence meaningless the worldover. La is a simple negation particle, negating all generalized oratory by thoughtless people on the subject that is going to be stated under oath.

Moreover, We have since divided it, the Qur'aan, for the reason that you, the Messenger may write/compile/organize and read it for people, awaiting and pausing, since/and We have communicated it-the Qur'aan successively.

Salaam peace I think music and poetry are not forbidden, of course the content and subject on music and poetry is very important.. im sure 100% that Universe wasnt crated in silence.. Now IE- we have in one hand the hadiths wich in a poetry content way is very untolerant, maxist and descrimnates people from other.. in other hand youve got some Rumi poettry? wich of these 2 lectures will cause you the atrophy and barrier the self search for knowledge? other exemple I come to know and learn more about Islam from old Alandalusi poettry (i come from Portugal and history in classes are totally changed and manipulated) and from hiphop conscious artists(not speaking of Mtv 50centes or gangsteria) i mean how long will i take to read AlQuran if i dind heard about it? So thanks to music and old Poetry i read the Quran for first time, im the first of my family and from my friends circle to become muslim.. and belive me from the background were i come from, is not easy to become a Muslim.. so Everything depends on the subject, the knowledge within, and poettry like music are not above the Quran but are tools to selfknowledge and to organize your mind.. its all about intention and final result.. When i write some poetry i dont write for others to read, i write for myself...its individual and internal feeling When i make music or play any musical instrument, musical notes are mathemathical and can teach you many things( its an internal feeling ) In ExempeBrother Paradox Uncreated is a nice trancemusic producer, i bet many people will feel bad listening it..but many others(like me) will have the opened preception to undersand the "musical/instrumental" content..so sometimes its also the perception of each individual creature.. the Wahabis dont want music because they just know how to play 1 string or 2... but they forget per exemple AlKindi?(wich is one of the best old composers of arab world) they forget they invented the lute, alOude and other instruments.. Acording to Quran we need to be carefull with the whisperer fake shcollars, ladygagas , etc Thats my personal point of view, right or wrong unleast im not hurting, exploding bombs, exploring or deviating anyone. sun Thank you NOMAD for this nice post! Of course the universe wad not created in silence, because at the root of it all is VIBRATION=SOUND sun

See, there is wisdom ) God Almighty opened the Lawful food list to many things (with remembering God's Name on them), HOWEVER, the Quran cites that some food is PREFREBLE over others (134). If you look in the bible, and the prohibitation against food, you will see that God Almighty was instructing the children of Israel to refrain from eating certain food in order for them to be "Holy" or pure. Some Animals eat their excrement, some might not care what they eat, (notice that sometimes toxins build up in the body and sometimes get accumulated into the fat of animals). This is when our minds come in handy ) Some foods are better to eat than other foods. Sure Hydrogenated/trans fats, MSG, carcinogens (cancer causing) etc are all lawful to eat, but surely they will be detremental to your health! There is an instruction in the Quran to basically not throw ourselves into destruction 2191

Apostasy ? Turning away from Islam In many so called Islamic countries, it is considered that people who turn away from Islam should be punished/killed. The Qur'an gives us the knowledge, alhamdulillah, that this is wrong. We have no right to punish individuals who choose to leave Islam. Allah has given everyone the freedom of choice and it is for Allah to judge all individuals on the Last Day. Consider the Qur'an references below ? People have a choice whether to believe or not (1829) ? People have been shown right and wrong (9010) ? We cannot compel people to believe. People have freedom of choice. Allah gives evil to those who do not use reason (1099-100) ? There is no compulsion in faith (2256). I.e. we must not force faith, or the extent to which someone practices their faith ? We are not responsible for the deeds of those who do shirk (6107) or follow the wrong path, and neither were the prophets (610 ? We must not revile (i.e. insult, abuse, despise, berate) objects of shirk (610 ? Allah will not forgive or guide those who sometimes believe and sometimes disbelieve, and then grow in their disbelief. They are hypocrites (4137-13. They will be punished in the hereafter (3106), (390-91) ? If a society turns away from the Islamic way of life, in time another community will emerge who Allah loves (554), as happened with the Jews ? Allah?s guidance will not come to those who reject the truth having previously been believers. They will be rejected by Allah, the natural forces (malaikah) and people. Their suffering will not be lightened ? except those who repent and then put themselves right (386-89) ? Those who turn away from the Islamic way of life and die as disbelievers, their deeds will go to waste and they will go to hell (471), (4725-1, (2217), (3090-91). Because such people clearly have the time to die as disbelievers, it cannot be true that their punishment is to be killed by other humans (2217), (4137-13. What about their chance to repent? 2256 There is no compulsion in religion, for the right way is clearly from the wrong way. Whoever therefore rejects the forces of evil and believes in God, he has taken hold of a support most unfailing, which shall never give way, for God is All Hearing and Knowing. 1682 But if they turn away from you, your only duty is a clear delivery of the Message . 6107 Yet if God had so willed, they would not have ascribed Divinity to aught besides Him; hence, We have not made you their keeper, nor are you a guardian over them. 479-80 Say'Whatever good betides you is from God and whatever evil betides you is from your own self and that We have sent you to mankind only as a messenger and all sufficing is God as witness. Whoso obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys God. And for those who turn away, We have not sent you as a keeper." 1128 He (Noah) said "O my people! think over it! If I act upon a clear direction from my Lord who has bestowed on me from Himself the Merciful talent of seeing the right way, a way which you cannot see for yourself, does it follow that we can force you to take the right path when you definitely decline to take it?? 1753-54 And tell my servants that they should speak in a most kindly manner. Verily, Satan is always ready to stir up discord between men; for verily; Satan is mans foe .... Hence, We have not sent you with power to determine their Faith. 21107-109 (O Prophet?) 'We have not sent you except to be a mercy to all mankind" Declare, "Verily, what is revealed to me is this, your God is the only One God, so is it not up to you to bow down to Him?' But if they turn away then say, "I have delivered the Truth in a manner clear to one and all, and I know not whether the promised hour is near or far." 2267 To every people have We appointed ceremonial rites which they observe; therefore, let them not wrangle over this matter with you, but bid them to turn to your Lord. You indeed are rightly guided. But if they still dispute you in this matter, `God best knows what you do." 24.54. Say "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (Message). 8821 22; And so, exhort them your task is only to exhort; you cannot compel them to believe. 4828 He it is Who has sent forth His Messenger with the Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to the end that tie make it prevail over every religion, and none can bear witness to the Truth as God does. 3616 17 (Three Messengers to their people) Said, "Our Sustainer knows that we have indeed been sent unto you, but we are not bound to more than clearly deliver the Message entrusted to us.' 3941 Assuredly, We have sent down the Book to you in right form for the good of man. Whoso guided himself by it does so to his own advantage, and whoso turns away from it does so at his own loss. You certainly are not their keeper. 426 48 And whoso takes for patrons others besides God, over them does God keep a watch. Mark, you are not a keeper over them. But if they turn aside from you (do not get disheartened), for We have not sent you to be a keeper over them; your task is but to preach .... 6412 Obey God then and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away (no blame shall attach to our Messenger), for the duty of Our Messenger is just to deliver the message. 6725 26 And they ask, "When shall the promise be fulfilled if you speak the Truth?" Say, "The knowledge of it is verily with God alone, and verily I am but a plain warner." 109.1-6 Say O ye that reject Faith,! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship, And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship, To you be your Way, and to me mine. 74.11-17 Leave Me with whom I created alone!, To whom I granted resources in abundance, And sons to be by his side, To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable, Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory!, Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! Slam dunk! muscle

Perhaps it does not refer to one event, but a kind of recurring theme. Several armies in history tried to make use of the elephant, including the Sassanid Persians. I would imagine that an elephant decked out in armor would be an intimidating sight on the battlefield, a way of showing off one's tremendous military power to one's opponents. But elephants were never very effective in war. Perhaps it is an allegory for those who rely on impressive displays of power and might. In the end, God's power and might is greater. An elephant is as tall as a tower to a foot soldier, but what could be taller than God-sent birds in formation with fiery rock bombs? -Joel

I never said you did, sir. The Bible is God breathed/inspired. When you say the Quran is God's "words" what do you mean exactly? What is the difference between that, and being inspired? In the Quran too. And the kalimah Allah became flesh. Yes God's books, which need to be believed. It seems to me that there's a difference in your mind, but what is that difference according to you? I agree Have I said anything to contradict this in any of my posts on this thread? My aim has been to point out inconsistencies in Muslim apologetics, which pretend to "expose" the Bible for variant readings while, either ignoring, or being ignorant of the textual history of the Quran. In no way do textual variants threaten inspiration, if anything they strengthen them....unless of course one has a "book from heaven" theology of inspiration, which is condemned in the Quran. What I meant was that no scripture came down on any prophet we know of like the Koran. The Koran is God's word meaning the choice of words in the Koran is chosen by God from start to finish. In contains no words of Muhammad or his companions as the Gospel does. Jesus was God's word in the sense he was given the holy spirit. Jesus's hadith are considered divine inspiration. They carry the same weight as the Koran does. The Sunni and Shias claim Muhammad received a Jesus like revelation along with the Koran. This is of course rejected by me. In Moses case we know God conversated with Moses back and forth, something we never see in the Koran. God then gave Moses the Ten commandments. However the Old Testament is words chosen by men and not God although it had many God's words in it but the writing was done by men. We also know of no back and forth conversation that occurred with Jesus. Jesus preached when he was a child and even talked when he was a baby. There is no Koran like scripture that came to him. Other prophets had other various methods of revelation. Jeremiah would often have God speak through his mouth to the Israelites. But he was not given the holy spirit from birth as Jesus had. In the end however we are only responsible for scriptures that come our way that we have possession of. How the Koran was like during Muhammad's time is not relevant since we were not there. What is relevant is how the Koran is available to us as it is now.

The initial prepositional + Posssessive Phrase relates to the fronted predicate of the inverted nominal sentence. The subject is Kitabu, in nominative case. The later two words in accusative case are "Hall"/ circumstantial portrayal. The context is witnessing by a person of Bani Israel about Qur'aan, which makes the elided predicate quite evident in the sentence. "The Book of Musa was available for people of Bani Iesraa'eel before it/Grand Qur'aan as guide and mercy".

Greetings and Peace, all group IMO, pretty much what IAMOP said. I'd like to add that if confessing helps a person to repent/turn away from wrongdoing, they should confess. Keeping in mind 316, a person should certainly ask for forgiveness, if it can be done with honest seeking--and with 3135 in mind, forgiveness for specific errors/transgressions. On the other hand, I'm not sure that the concept of "sin" or "forgiveness" is not present in AQ. It really doesn't matter if we call the word sin/evil/wrongdoing/error/mistake/immorality/etc. In any case, the word is not interchangeable with the meaning of the word "deed" in general, although evil deeds are a subset of deed. Proofs 285 But then here you are killing each other and expelling a group of you from their homes; you act towards them with evil and animosity. And if they come to you as prisoners, you ransom them while it was unlawful for you to expel them! Do you believe in part of the Book and disbelieve in part? The punishment for those among you who do so is humiliation in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be delivered to the most severe retribution. GOD is not unaware of what you all do. 2173 He has only made unlawful for you that which is already dead, and the blood, and the meat of pig, and what was dedicated with to other than GOD. But whoever is forced to, without seeking disobedience or transgression, then there is no sin upon him. GOD is Forgiving , Merciful. 258 And We said "Enter this town, and eat from it as you wish bountifully. And enter the passageway by crouching, and say "Our load is removed," so that your wrongdoings will be forgiven , and We will increase for the good doers." 2268 The devil promises you poverty and orders you to immorality , while GOD promises forgiveness from Him and grace. GOD is Encompassing, Knowledgeable. 316 The ones who say "Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us our sins , and spare us the retribution of the Fire." 331 Say "If you love GOD then follow me so GOD will love you and forgive your sins ." GOD is Forgiver , Merciful. 3135 And those who, if they commit lewdness, or wrong themselves, they remember GOD and seek forgiveness for their sins . And who can forgive the sins except GOD? And they do not persist in what they have done while they know. ALLAH knows best. peace ~Abdul-Hadi

Peace Aryan Warrior peace As noted by Abdul-Hadi, yuo do not need to Exactly Pronounce the name of God outload, All you need to do is remember God's name on the Food. Pronouncing the Name of God onto the food will do just that, but you can also just remember God's name onto the food. As i mentioned before, It is still a worthwhile idea to pronounce God's name or a simple prayer onto the food, because of the research on the effect of prayer/positive words (etc) on water molecules in a positive way. True that, which i've recently discovered that invoked is a seperate word from the one used for that verse which the word invoke was used only when it was invoked in the name of another (which would make it unlawful) yet it doesn't use invoke for the one we are talking about and rather states to remember/mention which is there for all cases of it whether you are killing something, have caught something, or right about to eat it )

Supercell thunderstorm-In-Cloud Lightening Would you believe, if I say that the early 7th century Arabs of desert Hijaz were aware of activities and phenomenon taking place within a single thunderhead like the sort of excited and charged movements all over, and in-cloud luminosity? You will certainly ask for the evidence. Honestly speaking, I do not have any authority or evidence in its support. But, the most famous book of the world, reaching to me from them, i.e. Grand Qur'aan, did say this to those desert Arabs. Therefore, you have either to accept my unsubstantiated statement, or you will have to believe that this Book was not authored by an Arab, living in 7th century AD in the city of Mecca. salam bigmo, all plz read 4171 more carefully 4171 O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of YOUR religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, "Trinity."............ Whose religion is the religion told in 4171, the limits of which are transgressed. christians' or jews' religion ? So accordingly prophet Mohammad and sahaba were also people of the book. D so are we all. If everybody is people of the book then what's the use of using the term "people of the book" ? D Why "generally" ? have you seen exceptions ? is there any single verse in which the term "people of the book" is used for muslims ? D peace all I think a good thing to do is to look at all the instances in the Koran that uses "ahlul kitaab" and see what its refering to. I am busy now so somebody has to do the search.

Peace. One of my arguments as to why God would not be present Himself inside of us is hell. I mean think about it, is he going to burn Him self for eternity. There is no way that God of the Quran is going to do something like that! Thanks Facepalm

Still I think that the zina crime is a crime, that the transgression is something else, even if the crime comes from the transgression. Most acts of zina can never fal in the crime, because there are not four witness. The four witness would amount to public zina. This is not to say that zina is not all that important. The fact that a punishment of importance is attached to it, when considered a crime, gives in fact, as I see it, the level of its spiritual harm. People who commit zina, would not want four witnesses por it, they would avoid witnesses. It would require very unusual circumstances or somehting added to the zina, for four witnesses to it. If we take the whole of the matter as expounded in sura An-Nur we may appreciate that the thrust of the whole thing is clearly stated as putting a clear cut end to palying with reputations and using honour as a weapon against women, to wreck them extrajudicially, to finish them off by way of maligning them. Read the context the whole set-up. Qur'an does not want people to run after spying others and finding zina in order to punish people publicly. It gives soberly what to do, when you get four witnesses. It doesn nt put the onus on anyone of carying any news of this kind nor on trying to find out, this or that. If a married person suspects, then four witnesses or four sworn statements, that can be countered by other four sworn statements, and the automatic pronunciation of divorce upon it. I think we have to see the whole thing in context and not in isolation. Unlawful sex is a transgression, but it is not easy that it be a crime. It is an error to try to derive the gravity of it or its evilness out of the 100 lashes, with those there are other social matters that are addressed, not the mater of the evilness of zina itself, which is mostly left, just like many other things, to people own consciences are are not going to be redressed by any earthly punishment but be consciousness of god, truthfulness to one's own feelings and emotions, and sense of commitment to truth a duty and to responsibility to ourselves and others. So the "sin" of zina is one thing, and it goes for it the same as for other "sins", the crime of zina, is another thing, and both have something in common, but are two different things. Salaam
