Actually, It depends on how they believe. It doesn't make any sense If someone call him/herself as a believer. God states that many of humankind and jinns were created for Hell. This is not related with population of religions. An african tribal who doesn't know anything about sacred books and prophets but do good in life as honest can leave behind a muslim who spend a life within islamic rules in attitude of just "following rules". 7179.And certainly We have created for hell many of the jinn and the men -- they have hearts wherewith they understand not, and they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not. They are as cattle; nay, they are more astray. These are heedless ones.

Root Words from this Root in the Grand Qur'aan a) Total occurrences 88 b) No of constructions 24 The basic perception infolded in the Root is to collect a thing at one place/point. It thus changes the scattered/separated/spread position of a thing into a collective whole. "" plural in 2228 is for menstruation of a woman. What is menstruation and what physical relationship does it have with the basic perception of Root ? Menstruation is breaking of the spread lining of the uterus which gets colleted together as a whole and is discharged through the vagina. Arabic Roots in their perception in fact enfold all the physical realities relating both to both matter and life. The basic perception of the Root is compilation, the process of gathering. When we carry out this process with regard to letters/alphabet of a language/written material it produces and yields the product , a book; written reading material collected together and placed in one receptacle; it is the opposite of a shredded/scattered state. Pl search, there is a thread about this Root.

Peace, e.g. 1 sister and mother which verse to use and give the sister 1/6 in 412 or 1/2 in 4176? The main focus of this thread was translation error. I think it is best to use another topic about inheritance, how about this one http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9598748.msg213087#msg213087 Peace

616 And when Jesus, son of Mary, said O children of Israel, I am a messenger of God to you, authenticating what is between my hands of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name will be most acclaimed. But when he showed them the clear proofs, they said This is clearly magic does anyone know "he" on the verse is refer to isa or to messenger that would come after isa?

Lets take a look at these verse from suret el Shora Who is speaking? Isn't it supposed to be God? how come God tells you that Allah is his God??I reached an answer, no it isn't Mohamed speaking, in the Arabic Qur'an there is not the word or no, it is not there...this is not Mohamed, if so prove to me from the Qur'an... Then there is someone else writing Ay at in the Qur'an other than god?????? Let's take a look at the fatiha now Isn't it clear that the same one/thing/unknown who had the right to write the ayat above in suret el shora is the same unknown thing/one/creature who is telling surret el fateha???he is praising God, and asking him to show us (him and us) the right way???? Is God praising himself?? not God is teaching us how to ask him?? he said in another verse that he is close to us...then why would he do so twice??? from my understanding the quran is the one who told and said everything in the quran.. there are sometime quran would quote from someone else..if this is happening the quran would say remember when allah said, remmber when musa said n so on.. the only confusing part is the word we.. every time word we occur it would be either quran and Allah or quran and the reader.. from my understanding the word we would represent quran and Allah if the story is happening before the quran is writen..if the story happened after the quran is writen the word we would represent quran and the reader..

Mycket bra Emil. I just told one of my swedish friend about what Zakir Naik just said and he laughed and said ''Tell mr. Zaik that if eating pork cause wife-swapping in Sweden, than perhaps the muslims in India have husband-swapping(polygyny) because they eat a lot of chicken'' rotfl rotfl I do not accept the Hadith of "infliction of animal behavior by eating them" because I have no Scientific Evidence! ignore

The First Step in meaningfully learning a foreign language is listening, particularly Arabic language since it is a language of syllables, shortest meaningul sound being atleast a consonant + Vowel.

I think Arnold Yassin once said that that verse could mean that Jacob saw the truth of Joseph being alive. It may not mean actual eyesight. It could be that way.

Now it is you who are contradicting yourself. If something is collective and not based on gender it can go either way(males only, females only or both male AND females together) which is what I have been showing to you. And since you like contradict others deceitfully just for the sake of making some foolish claim of the lack of women's rights which already exists in the Quran(women's rights) but not to your satisfaction again I will put up my previous post for the sake of the new people on this forum so that they would not be deceived by some woman bent on trashing the Quran for the sake of causing confusion and not for the sake of pursuing knowledge (at least to me that is how it looks like) here is my post again .... 314 It has been adorned for people to love the desire of women , buildings, ornaments made from gold and silver, trained u, the livestock, and fields. These are the enjoyment of the world, and with God is the best place of return. desire of women = males only buildings, ornaments made from gold and silver, trained horses, the livestock, and fields = deals with females and males Since as you say that people are collective (meaning a group of persons make up a people) it can go either way. When God was referring to "the desire of woman" logic would dictate that since homosexuality is a gross sin that God was only referring to the males among 'the people". The rest of the scripture would encapsulate the males and the females. So for the last time where is the contradiction? Answer There is NONE! PS This is a very sunni-like question "if god ment men why didnt he said men? " ( what goes around comes around . I remember you were a telling another member the same thing on a different topic. ) Wow so God didn't give us brains to think and to reason. How is it that I could logically dissect a verse and you can't ? What you want sister is a separate book for yourself. Word of Advise Knowing Arabic plays an important part in translating the Quran but it isn't the most important part when it comes to UNDERSTANDING the Quran. It is better to understand one verse in the Quran than to translate hundreds of verses and not know what they mean. Peace, yeah Kevin Now i am confused. why are you suddenly talking about womens rights ? We were talking about if people means men or not so why do you suddenly jump to women's rights ? What has women's rights to do with the thread ? Or do you mean that its a woman right to be desired by men as the verse states according to you ? In any case i think we sha stick to the subject and eventually discuss women rights in another thread which is properly not so important for me personally since I don't lack any rights anyway and since i live in europe where women have more rights than men anyway. so 'men's rights' make more sense for me. offtopic Now back to The subject please

hey all, Good examples brought up by Path of light and Godsubmitter, I would have to agree that animal sacrifice does, at first reading, appear to be a dogmatic practice that jars with the rest of the Qur'an. Countless centuries of history have ingrained to us that animal sacrifice is a primitive, vicious and somewhat pointless act. We see it as an outdated practice. Here is the full extract from the Qur'an. FULL DISCLOSURE taken from StudyQur'an. I do not know arabic, so the classical arabic translation may be different. Apologies if I'm wrong here. To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice), that they might celebrate the name of Allah over the sustenance He gave them from animals (fit for food). But your Allah is One Allah. submit then your wills to Him (in Islam) and give thou the good news to those who humble themselves,- The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the symbols from Allah. in them is (much) good for you then pronounce the name of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice) when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful. It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah. it is your piety that reaches Him He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right. What is the classic view we have of animal sacrifice? Surely, what comes to my mind, is a live animal killed at a sacrificial alter and the animal is then left as a trophy for the God(s). Is this really what is happening/being depicted here? Seems to me that it is simply a case of remembering Allah while slaughtering an animal. Not killing the animal for killing's sake - that does not comply with the rest of the Qur'an. No, instead we are to eat the meat and feed the poor if possible. I personally do not see any dogma in this. My 0.02 cents. Also, can I just add please can we take a little time to make our arguments well formatted and readable, putting forward clear points per paragraph for debate. I find it really difficult to read posts sometimes because the argument/format is all over the place. Sorry for being lame. Cheers!

Human a Matter-based Life-form turning into Energy-based Life-form. the reason for that is simple, natural Matter-based human don't last very long. They die eventually. The Jinn(a human race), the Matter-based Life-form discover the Knowledge to return them into Energy-based Life-form, a form they when they first brought into existence. Mentioning of Adam, as a race different to Jinn(Race) or Iblis. Stargate Tv series of Concept of Ascension? http//stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Ascension Is an interesting theory. Ray Kurzweil is turning himself into Cyborg so he can live longer.

It looks like most of the replies to this post have made wrong assumptions about what this verses says. The reason why is because it appears that nobody took the time to look up the meaning of the word "vicegerent". Here is what the word vicegerent means "A person appointed by a ruler or head of state to act as an administrative deputy". In this case the ruler is Allah and he is telling the angels that he is going to (deligate) authority and set up a ruler who will have authority over the whole world. So then the angels ask Allah "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood"? while we do celebrate your praises and glorify your holy (name)?" To which Allah answers "I know what you know not." Making mischief and shedding Blood is the same thing as make war. So dasically the angels asked a question about what this "Allah appointed leader/deputy" will be like and Allah refused to answer the question by saying " I know what you know not". In other words Allah was saying that he knows what this appointed deputy will be like and what he will be doing but the angels do not know and apperently Allah didn't want to answer their question. Real simple. Salam, That was my interpretation years ago. But the word "Khalif" also means successor apart from representative. This interpretation fails miserably. The reason being, one cant imagine God declaring that He will apoint a representative only for the angels to call that representative "Evil". God's representative cant be evil. If the verse was being spoken by SATAN, the reply of the angels would make sense. The only interpretation that makes sense to me is the one where Allah declares the updated version of something already in place, thus the angels commented like that based on their knowledge on the previous version of whatever it was. Peace OPF! The best thing in heaven i think would be Praising/Glorifying/Thanking God everyday and all day!!! The angels do really have the best jobs! with their Glorifying and Praising God! There would be no more tribulations! There would be no fear! There would be no more sin! As i stated before, at this point of my life, i don't care whether i go to hell/heaven, i think i would rather support God unconditionally. From a worldly stance, i have lost many things. But from an afterlife stance, God suffices me in all ways. Glory & Praise be to God, by his Majesty and Holiness, for every atom and subatomic particle there is! Praise God our maker! Hallelu-Yah!

Quran, the Book, a written Recital, a doubtless book. and Quran, the re-recited by Heaven and Earth, conveying the Recital of Allah. For those disbelieve, Allah will misled them, for those who believe,Alla Allah will guide them; 226 Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient, Allah Alone Guide All Believers, All Guides come from Allah. we human only redeliver, retold the message. Misleading Hadith also comes from Allah for the defiantly disobedient. Allah provides Fabricator of Falsehood to mislead the defiantly disobedient. eg. If Bukhari's Hadith is all true, Ottoman Empire will still be Alive today. Ottoman Empire is dead, Allah's Statements to those Who Mislead, Their lying Hadith does not work. Thus I postulate, there is Quran, the Book, Quran, the True Evidence of the Universe, reciting Allah's statements, That also Guide Believers to success. Allah is Enough, Allah alone, Allah's Quran Alone. then there's Fake Quran/Hadith that misleads and give humiliating punishment. Thus expanding the Questioning of the Authority of The Misleading Hadith. Somebody asked me how To obey Jesus's Bible/message. for I think now, only verses from the bible that is exactly the same as the verses from Quran,ie obey the message convey by the messenger. Maybe Allah simply want's to make the Quran book interesting, by stating "obey me(jesus, Quran 4363)" as refutation to the sunni.
