Sorry I will continue Yes the common sense A believing man among Pharaoh's people, who was concealing his belief, said, "How can you kill a man just for saying, `My Lord is God,' and he has shown you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is a liar, that is his problem, and if he is truthful, you benefit from his promises. Surely, God does not guide any transgressor, liar. It seems every true messenger comes to say" your Lord is GOD". And we resume the status quo of" He is a liar!!!. My point is all the differences that exist, GOD promised to clarify. Did GOD send a messenger to clarify "The Salat"? To me that is the main question that needs investigation. Then one may find their "Salat2 and how many tiimes and when. Or they carry on following whoever or their own interpretations. At the end of the day, the main message of "sirat Al Mustaqueem" is the most important, but messengers will keep coming. So do not despair. May the Lord clarify "The Salat2 to all seekers of it. GOD bless you. Peace.

A lot lot of reads but just one answer. As I understand some people here "perform" salat twice to five times a day. I try to anderstand better about salat . Maybe other member are doing the same, am I right ? I do what I can understand and read other beliefs about salat and check in al quran. I rely on Allah and ask him to guide me. Wakas opened a thread to compile the discussions about salat. Peace.

Ade, thank you. Still, my problem is there..that how will I implement salat in my everyday life, in cases when It's inconvenient for any reason. If I shorten it, maybe He will not forgive. If I pray it later, maybe it will not be forgiven, if I try to try to pray full (2 hours) then this will be hardship every time..and just all of this is like living a hell. Because you live in a insecurity of God's punishment.. Dear Sister... Who told you to pray 2 hours constantly dear... No worries... Your concern and thaqwa and belief is well known to God.... He will guide you in sha Allah.... Salat has fixed timing .. That's undeniable...... But God has never prescribed a length for Salat.. Better you benefit more you glorify God... It doesn't mean Salat 20 times a day... That's against God's timing.. Hope you get me... Note the below verse... We can derive certain Advices to our lives in general ... 4142 "Indeed, the hypocrites deceive Allah , but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing the people and not remembering Allah except a little," Yes.... Above verse speaks about Munafiq... People may give various explanation who in fact these Munafiqs(Hypocrites) are ... In my understanding, somehow they do all what believers do but pure intention of mind is so weak... The above verse itself depict some of their characteristics ... 1 ... laziness in doing ... 2 ... showing off to people ... 3 .... Remembering God a little... 4.... They deceive themselves... Now what we have to take out of this where we stand from these strange people... 1....Are we lazy in doing or following any of our act when it comes to belief ..... 2... Are our intentions in all acts to show people so that we are well reckoned in the eyes and words of people... 3 ..... Do we remember God a little in any for form of remembrance every day... Be it salat or general zikr or sabih... Do we do a little or maximum to our capacity... That's key... Not beyond our capacity but not less to our capacity... Less than our capacity is little.. Little is a sign of hypocrisy... 4.... Do we deceive ourselves in the name of God... Every individual knows that.. When it comes to Salat all you need to do is once you done 56 instructions and 1778 and 11114(for time) , the below in standing position .... 17110-111 Say, "Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever you call - to Him belong the best names." And do not recite loudly in your prayer or quietly but seek between that an way. And say, "Praise to Allah , who has not taken a son and has had no partner in dominion and has no protector out of weakness; and glorify/magnify Him with glorification... Keep magnifying God as much as your heart allows you with any beautiful phrases and verses.. Then submit and finish... That's all... That's Salat.... That's your daily standard as long as you are free... But you can shorten what you do daily if you are in Fear...how much you shorten is absolutely in your hand... Depends on each individual's situation.. 4101... Further Salat has no length assigned by God, but only the fixed timing to do within that period with our own convenience.. . If anyone says salat has length that is only his or her whimsical or rather impulsive approach wittingly or unwittingly .unfortunately .. That doesn't befit to any human being in his or her day to day activities.... God knows human nature... Those who claim Salat has length won't even follow what they preach.. That's for sure.. May God guide us to straight path

Salam jkhan, Thanks for giving the references! The references that you give use sahih hadith books to come up with the order of revelation. For example, to conclude that the first sura revealed is sura 96. Volume 6 - Book 60 - Number 444 Narrated Yahya bin Abi Kathir I asked Aba Salama bin 'Abdur-Rahman about the first Sura revealed of the Qur'an. He replied "O you, wrapped-up (i.e. Al Muddaththir)." I said, "They say it was, 'Read, in the Name of your Lord Who created,' (i.e. Surat Al-'alaq (the Clot)." On that, Abu Salama said, "I asked Jabir bin 'Abdullah about that, saying the same as you have said, whereupon he said, 'I will not tell you except what Allah's Apostle had told us. Allah's Apostle said, "I was in seclusion in the cave of Hiram', and after I completed the limited period of my seclusion. I came down (from the cave) and heard a voice calling me. I looked to my right, but saw nothing. Then I looked up and saw something. So I went to Khadija (the Prophet's wife) and told her to wrap me up and pour cold water on me. So they wrapped me up and poured cold water on me." Then, 'O you, (Muhammad) wrapped up! Arise and warn,' (Surat Al Muddaththir) was revealed." (74.1) And since sahih hadith books are severely corrupted and highly unreliable, I am sorry to say the research that use those books as sources is also highly unreliable. Wassalam, Ade

Peace Wakas. You may say the following, quote "The minimum of twice daily for the mumineen is astute in other ways, e.g. it can encompass understandings such as thrice daily or 5 daily etc. It is easily the most cogent understanding as per Quran, and that is why you (or anyone) will struggle to find flaws in it. You will note for example Joseph Islam's response article never disproved any point I made in my original critique. If you (or anyone) disagree feel free to cite it..... since you've read them apparently." Yet I remain confused ,reading your views on the main and most important thingHow to do the Salat? Also this is not as easy as you seem to think here, quote "Let me help you (and others) by clarifying what I mean by finding an error in my work. I will give some examples of errors incorrect Arabic word form, e.g. it is actually a plural not singular, it is actually verb form 4 not 2, it is a noun not a verb, the pronoun is masculine not feminine, wrong root etc your understanding of verse X contradicts verse Y you said X but this contradicts what you said elsewhere Y your understanding of verse X is not possible to do practically because of ABC etc. In other words something of substance, and ideally falsifiable, i.e. it is possible to prove/disprove." All we are doing here is following our own logic and misunderstanding GOD s words. Qoran s style can break the norm ,the context sometimes defines the interpretations not the meaning of single words like for example لا تَدعُوا اليَومَ ثُبورًا وٰحِدًا وَادعوا ثُبورًا كَثيرًا Here a single "remorses" is not a singular word remorse but one group of similar remorses... Even though "The Salat" is singular, the times are 3 identified times "Tarafay Al Mahar" 2 times and "Zulafan Mina Al Layl" 1 more time. So 3 Salats.(My understanding) And many more examples where Qoran uses its own style of grammar and language. For me, the most important thing to understand about "The Salat" is the following 1-What is this "The Salat"-AL Salat in Arabic-? 2- What did the prophet do when he was instructed to "Aquimi Al Salat"?, bearing in mind Qoran was given in portions of verses and not as a whole and the prophet had no other details about it except what his tribe were doing it. 3-What were his tribe doing when "Wa Idha Quamu Ila AL sALAT,, Quamu Kussala...."? 4-How many times was he doing "The Salat" and why there are no questions from his tribe in Qoran about "The Salat"? 5-How are we supposed to do this "The Salat" consistently and exactly" like they did? 6- Did GOD send a clarifying messenger after him to clarify and confirm this "The Salat"? 6-Does Qoran indicate that this will be the case? Then we can move towards accepting Qoran as a whole and dissecting all the verses of "the Salat" and "Kibla" and"Ruku" And "Sujud" and many more other words that connect to "The Salat"- the connection with GOD. So ,like you said, your methods and my methods are not the same. I have a different way of looking at "The Salat "than you have. I believe if we dissect verses independently , ignoring other verses that may connect/explain them ,,we will be following our own logic rather than GOD s logic. However, you are entitled to your way. GOD bless you. Peace.

Peace wakas, My understanding is based only on verses from the Qur'an. A place, housse, is masjid, mussallah if it is based on God's system like the first housse of Abraham. I think we all agree, we follow /obey /sujood the direction of the divine system and not a physical direction of a place. Salam

I repeat ,according to my understanding all the other verses where there are "Aquimi/Aquimu...The Salat or just "The Salat" the meaning is the specific "contact prayer". I hope it is clear to you what I am saying now. But unfortunately not for me... Aquim As-Salat everywhere in Quran not prayer for me... So we contradict each other.. It means we give different meaning to Quran... But as I always say God meant only one meaning for one verse. I can't take one and you can't take another.. Then totally neglecting what in fact God explained.... Better be in not knowing situation rather than claiming this is what it means.. I am sure if we both in the eyes of God then He would expose our misunderstanding... So be flexible and learn what you learned already again and again... So there could be guidance.... Anyhow that's it with you in this topic... May God expose the wrong one for the sake of guidance... Be it me or you. .that's good for us in the end...

سلام Sorry to excavate that thread again but there are some things that are not clear for me. I'm of a certainty that a sacred temple is needed as a proxy for GOD and the worshipers - any faith had a central House which was sanctified and kept clean so that the energy of purity could be felt in its presence and this is the most certain place where one could experience GOD or the Angels (like Maryam or Zakariyya did). This was the whole idea of Solomons Temple and the Masjid al-Haram+Kaaba (today the meaning of a holy place is completely distorted by the capitalist/satanic saudi government). But concerning the leg-joint, it does make sense IF you can truly measure the age of the game by it. I didn't find any information to proof that you can measure the age of an animal while observing the leg-joint. First time i heard about the leg-joint was while i read through Sam Gerrans' translation which i find meanwhile very inaccurate and subjective. It is also very fuzzy if you read further in his translation of the Qur'an. Did anyone made some independent research and found something concerning this? Anyone here who hunts and knows that to be true? Now i know for a fact that the original Haram was located somehere else. But so did Solomons Temple. The accumulation of pure energy and the intention to sanctify certain locations is what makes a place holy and not when you turn it into a cash cow. Thats why it was so important for Muhammad to get rid of all those Idols in Haram - as this building also represents the Haram of the Soul. But this is only my understanding of the whole al-Masjid al-Haram topic. الله اعلم

peace, Yes my understanding has changed as I was mistaken previously. "musalli" does mean one who SLW However "musallah" in 2125 means "time/place of SLW" according to the Arabic grammar (from the info that I have gathered). Thanks Wakas! Wassalam, Ade

Hi Imran, I still don't think that those characteristics are the opposite of salat because if it were it wouldn't say 1074 So woe to those who make the contact prayer, 1075 Who are towards their contact prayer absent-minded. 1076 They only want to be seen. In the PM translation of the reading, not sure why on this chapter the salat - if it's the same word - was translated as contact prayer where everywhere else it was translated communion. Anyway, my point is that salat is not the opposite of the negative characteristics because these people are still holding salat but they are absent-minded and do it only to be seen. That means Salat is what teaches one the good characteristics/values (feeding the poor, treating the orphans good and so on) because those that do salat and do these things are not absent-minded to it and don't do it to be seen. //////////////////////////// RED dnt know why they do it better ask from themselves because the same root SLW been used here.. BLUE see the verse below who were/are they ? GREEN treat it like active voice /passive voice.. chapter is about the ones who are absent minded to their duties or who are dishonest in their duties not about the ones who are honest with the duties its started from the word rejectors of DEEN = divine system. 954 What prevents their contributions from being accepted is this They do not truly believe in God and His Messenger. They only claim to believe. They join you in Salaat congregations only half-heartedly and just to be seen of men. And they contribute only with great reluctance in their hearts. point to be NOTED time salat = salat ul fajar & salat ul isha ==== > performer/s (musali/een) markazi/main salat = AL-salwat ul wusta ====> performer/s (musali/een) that one is is in plural mean more than one type and some of them (TYPES) are in chap 107 in both cases they can be show-offs. for "pray" quran used a word called DUA..and in your Opening post you hinted towards a DUA what still in practice. people read that DUA in their NAMAZ what they think its salat.. its confusing because term sala hijacked by a ritual. hope it clarifies now what i tried to say about 107.

Peace everyone... I could have brought it as an article... but i hope this way is better so people can read slowly.... and grasp.. 7156 ? ??.. ? but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will ordain it(mercy) for those who fear/righteous (Yaththakun) and bring forth Purification (Wa?aathuz Zakath) and those are they who believe in Our verses ? Read the full verse for more clarification? See the perfectness of what is ZAKATH? this verse is not joined with SALAT? God says?.He will ordain/prescribe/decree his mercy upon those who have actually thaqwa(simply muththaqun)..by having thaqwa they bring forth Purification and they are the people who in fact believe in the verses of GOD?. It doesn?t mean those who give CHARITY is the people who in fact believe in the verses of GOD?.The one who is Muththaqun is definitely a person who already has knack of giving charity(22 clearly indicated who muththqun is) Muththaqun is not muththaqun unless he or she gives charity? So God doesn?t need to separately say Muththaqun and GIVE CHARITY ?. Perfect verse 7156 is with ZAKATH = PURIFICATION? such a perfect meaningful.. but not with CHARITY?

The Quran has been corrupted... by wrong interpretation methodology, #STRAWMAN We (Sunnatullah, Natural Order, Nature, LordLaw of Nature, EcoLogic, Muhkamat, proofs and evidences, natural interpretation methodology etc) are responsible for its interpretation. (7519) ELSE, Shirk. https//i.ibb.co/kmmpyCR/qiblat.jpg closer to muhkamat or mutasyaabihat? So leave anyone who denies this discourse to Me! We will lead them, step by step, into destruction from where they do not know. I will allow them more time. My subterfuge is sure. (6844-45) But as for those who deny Our 'Natural' Signs (Sunnatullah), We will lead them, step by step, into destruction from where they do not know. I will give them more time. My strategy is sure. Have they not reflected? Their companion is not mad. He is only a clear warner. (7182-184)

The light in me salutes the light in ye. My personal inward journey, or rather contact with G.D, has led me to kundalini yoga in specific, but also tai chi, and reiki,... https//www.crystaldreamsworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Chakras_en_en_el_cuerpo_humano.jpeg The true meaning of islam, in a universal/esoteric context, is wholeness https//i.pinimg.com/originals/2f/c5/08/2fc5087e3b705e8f0d2a7932fb14587e.jpg Adem and its mate are within you, the Anima and Animus. Iblis (hybris) in the quran denotes the super-ego, in psychology. salat is not prayer, it is a connection/bonding/tuning into the universal frequency of oneness within/out you. In this meditative state, there is no-mind., no you/identity, no ego, no gender.. only surrender an euphoric oneness with the unified field of awareness/consciousness that permeates all; thusly giving us access to the pure knowledge/gnosis of the akashic record, and eventually recovery of your long forgotten etheric body and psychic faculties.

Peace Richard. "Fattaqu Allah Ma Istataatum". Do the best you can in your striving to seek help from the Lord to grow your soul in preparation to meet and face your creator. I believe "Aquimi Salat" and "Dhikr" are means to connect to GOD/to feed our soul/to remember to seek help against "Fahcha and Munkar" that we face daily from this life.(Inna Salat Tanha Any Al Fahcah wa Al Munkar, Wala Dhikr Allah Akbar" and is food for our soul). There are all sorts of priorities we give to our life. We place them as the most important to the less important. This is the key to our loyalties to what we love the most. GOD has made the system of salvation easy if we adjust our attitude and priorities. That is up to the individual to sort himself/herself according to their convictions and choices. Now GOD knows each person and how/what they choose and why. GOD also knows that we strive to feed the human body and that we have needs in this life to earn, socialise, look after each other, play games, travel...etc. So GOD understands how busy we are. If we are busy or are not in a position(lack of facilities) or even if we are afraid of others/circumstances and we cannot physically perform prayer/dhikr then (Farijalan Aw Rukbanan) you remember GOD /connect to GOD in our mind. We have other routines in life that we can be rigid towards like sports, meetings,... Similarly if our body is busy then our mind needs to take over the duties of GOD s system ( and do salat inside your head) to keep the balance of feeding both the body and soul. If one can find five minutes and has the facilities and privacy to do the prayer at work then fine, if not then it can be done in the mind. When one gets into the habit of putting GOD as priority number one, we can change our attitude towards remembering GOD 24/7 inside our mind. This will serve as a bell /warning against all sorts of things/ choices that harms our redemption and serves as a platform to develop our soul in preparation to meet GOD.. Best of luck brother. GOD bless you Peace.

To pray is to meditate/contemplate/focus/concentrate and to establish healthy thinking patterns to live in harmony with universal law (God). It does not necessarily mean literally to pronounce words and call upon him. Pray means to form an image, that's what the word from root SL means, an image behind a problem to contemplate upon and to harmonize your thoughts. That's what basmala is for, for its purpose is harmony of mind, to find your purpose in life and remind yourself of your personal task in universal law. That is why every chapter starts with basmala, to give you a hint on how to read the rest of it.
