Salaam all Kitab/ kaf-ta-ba' literally means book, letter when it's noun/ism. but when it turned as verb/fa'il kataba/aktubu it means write, decree, compose Maybe I should agree with if kaf-ta-ba means decree like Wakas said, but notice the red words I posted. The difference is in tashkeel. Kitab/ with kasrah in kaf and ba' with sukun, while Kataba/ with fathah in kaf and the ba'. If we refer to kitaban in 4103 is kitaban and it's noun not verb. So this means impossible if this word means decree, because it's imposibble to change kataba into kitab, unless you want to change the Arabic rules. Both kataba and kitab is different words even they have same root. I translate Kitaban Mawqutan as Book/letter of fixed times not preserved time, decreed time because the word kitaban is noun. The example of usage of kitaban in Lisan ul Arab ; So that's why I create this thread "What's Kitaban" not "When is Kitaban". Meanwhile in Quran the verses which use Kitab/ mostly means letter and book More complete http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9606071.msg344401#msg344401

Peace Regarding Salat, my advice is that you must find out for yourself. Ask The Creator to show you, and don't assume what to find. This journey includes having lots of patience, sabr. Also, don't wait to reach perfection, the final answer and solution. Just go ahead and do what your current understanding tells you... and then be fully open to adjust, change and improve. Never get stuck or locked on any specific dogma. Remember the purpose of Salat. This is the important thing... not what it looks like. The purpose should guide us, not the external form/shape. Perhaps you'll be able to feel what is good to do. I'm mean, feel what feels GOOD... not what you think you should do, out of fear. Fear doesn't guide. Peace!

This happenned to me also during salat, I never ever felt this love before this is something really superior I hope its God presence but He is the only one to know whats that When did u experience that exactly? I hope we can discuss this experience later

Peace Hussein Something Allah did not explain, mankind is explaining, what a tragedy? Allah giving a car and telling us to drive without the driving instructions.? Brother what you have done is that you randomly picked up verses that fits the already fabricated SALAT. Recite, , what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do. (29 45) Can your SALAT forbid / prevent from FAHSHA and MUNKAR? I f yes HOW? If NO then...............? Thanks

Salaam, The verse says that a lot of nonsense is being uttered by people from right to left and those who are guided can see the truth through all the falsehood. These people will discard extra-religious rituals and prohibitions and only follow what God has laid out for them. In reality it means following the pretty simple instructions which God has given with the Message (Qur'an is a good help as a guidebook) and not the religion of extra-religious ahadith. God bless you

Thanks. So to do things for Allah is to help and do good for others. And to recieve from Allah we need others yet again. 3918 The ones who listen to what is being said, and then follow the best of it. These are the ones whom God has guided, and these are the ones who possess intelligence. peace

Fare thee well brother, I appreciate your philosophies and there may lie a certain Truth in what you have written and studied. I also abandoned the concept of Salat as a ritual and rather bound it together with the word Zakat into "mindfulness of God and purification" which I think is not accurate translation-wise but pragmatically correct. You are right that the supplication (dua) is the right form of "prayer" in traditional regard. What I am not certain about is the fire altars and this practice you describe is certainly taken from the Old Testament (Tanakh) and was even criticized by later generations of the people from within the book itself. This religion was spread throughout Persia, including Persepolis (Takht-e Jamshid) and many fire altars still stand testimony there as of today in the mountain ranges. I visited some sites myself and have conducted some research around there. Despite a slight skepticism I am actually a bit open to your theories as they might negate my research upon the Old and New Testament and Zoroastrianism. I reckon that in your theory why the Arabs continued with prostration instead of the fire altars is because they were used to worshiping their statues and idols this way in the past and so they continued like this with Allah instead. It developed into prostrating towards the building in Mecca in the end which can be tantamount to idolatry unfortunately if you think, especially when the building is formed like the Saturn's cube. It strengthens my belief that with no Messenger about humans revert to idolatry except a small group of people. Humans have innate idolatrous tendencies in all sorts of forms from the ego to external idols and people have an instinct to bind God's power to items. Anyway, I like your theory about Salat practice according to the Old Testament, but I am not ready to start worshiping by fire altars without any further study as it might risk just changing from one Pagan ritual to another. However you may be right that there is something special about the fire. And if we are going to worship with fire then we need to refresh and ascertain that we are doing it right. We need to know why we ought to use fire in our worship of God. You shall not forget that the Zoroastrian and Biblical practices include water too as an element. Water and Fire was used in the practices. You performed ablution before you stood before the altar of fire. I know because I have been in Iran for more than two years and studied Zoroastrianism and been at their temples. These people practice the religion according to the Old Testament and it is a misconception that they worship the actual fire. It is a tool much like the water in an "Islamic" ablution in their worship. But you ought to know that your theory seems very intriguing and mind-provoking and might be an answer I have been looking for since I started investigating Zoroastrianism, Fars (Pharisees) and the Bible. It is true that we might receive hints from our fellow humans when we are looking and we need to listen. The only thing is that I need more answers before I can run to conclusions, but now I know that the type of worship you describe here was the one practices by Dawood, Solomon and maybe even Jesus, and a remainder may have lasted in the Christian practice of lighting candles in the church, as long as the tales from the Old Testament are authentic and not lies. Of course I have my critical approach when I read it and it would be good if I could receive some backup from Qur'an which is a more reliable source if interpreted right. God bless you

peace, You may find this useful, from http//mypercept.co.uk/articles/meaning-masjid-al-haram-Quran.html change of qiblah - an understanding based on Quran The information we can extract about the meaning of "qiblah", and the change, from these verses is as follows this new change is in some way related to guiding to a straight/establishing path, and making the believers a balanced/moderate community the qiblah which they were on was a great test (i.e. difficult), except those God guided, and their belief in such was not going to be for nothing in this case the qiblah happens to be AMAH, but there are potentially many other qiblah, as individuals could have their own qiblah in 2148 the usage of "wherever" is the ONLY time it appears without a close link to "turn+wajh+AMAH" therefore likens "wijhatun (direction/course/goal)" with "qiblah" and consequently likens AMAH to "race to the good" or at least we can say AMAH involves this. Furthermore, AQ implies each person may have their own "qiblah" in 2145 then later in 2148 says "for each is a wijhatun he turns towards it", strongly suggesting "qiblah" and "wijhatun" are being related as similar terms/concepts. Please re-read these verses as this is a key finding. the effects of this change will be less debate from the people, lead to God completing His favour, aid guiding, and bringing you all together. wherever one is they should turn their wajh/purpose/consideration in the direction of AMAH, and from the contexts that likley involves being oriented towards the truth of your Lord, the good, and uniting of believers To me, "turning one's wajh in the sky" in 2144 comes across as an idiom, so whilst it could be literally translated as "turning one's face IN the sky" it is implying one is directionless, aimless, floating/blowing in the wind, i.e. no plan/goal to progress, looking/searching for a way/resolution. Interestingly it is listed in 'Verbal Idioms of Quran' by Mustansir Mir but explained as he turned his face towards the heaven so often that it is added emphasis to say his face was IN the heaven, even though it literally is not. Perhaps, but that does not change the fact that it is taken by all to mean he was seeking guidance. The new qiblah resolves this, and is also pleasing, implying a possible easing of argumentation/hostility for the believers, which would tie in with "no debate against you". As a side note, the only other use of "wly/turn" in these verses other than "turn+wajh" is 2148 "...he turns towards it (wijhatun/course/goal)", which is primarily figurative and not taken physical-directional by anyone. This may help indicate the type of turning being referred to in these verses. Based on the above, usage of the root QBL in AQ, CAD meanings, and the only other occurrence of "qiblah" in 1087, in terms of likelihood for the meaning of "qiblah", in my view, are focal-point - focus/centre of interest or activity direction - general aim or purpose; a general way in which someone/something is developing point-of-approach - a way in which to approaching something counteraction - to oppose and mitigate the effects of by contrary action

Peace be upon you, Zakaat refers to purification of the nafs...which is the goal of salaat (programming/conditioning). So no need to worry yourself about calculations in regards to zakaat. That would be nice and easy )

Peace be upon you, There is a reason why there are so many people who "recite" all kinds of scriptures who still can't transcend negative habits and behaviors. Through metaphor we are being shown that we must enter the trance state ...that state where day merges into night and night into day...dawn and dusk are the only two "times" mentioned. Salaat is programming of the nafs in a state of trance through meditation. Very good explanation, thank you! sun When I read your posts one or two years before, probably I wasn't ready fir them...

Peace bro, This is a general post to share my ideas, and not really a response to what you specifically wrote... ) I wouldn't blame religion either actually. I blame all of us, all humans, for failing to open our eyes and bringing forth constructive qualities like compassion, mercy, justice, humbleness, reason... The problem is not religion. Religion is not fooling us. It is we who are so disconnected that we let ourselves be fooled. We are so ignorant and blind, wandering in darkness, that we cannot tell good from bad, destructive from constructive. I don't even blame the religious texts, whether they're called books of testaments, qurans, volumes of hadith, vedas, talmuds, blablabla. To blame a text is to escape responsibility. It is WE who CHOOSE to do what we interpret from the texts of choice. First we choose or "choose" a text, then we choose to act on our interpretation. This interpretation REFLECTS OUR INNER STATE. If I have no problems burning a "witch" or stoning someone, then that's on ME, not on the text. Religion is not to be blamed, as they are no more than ink on paper. The only real thing is our thoughts and actions, which give real ripples in the world around us. We are personally responsible for all we say, do and think. None other and nothing else can be blamed. In the end it is we who are blind and disconnected enough from God to be fooled into falling down further into sin. When we choose to blindly follow a text and a certain standard interpretation of it, then we also shut the door to the guidance that is available to all of us in the form of intuition, hunches and common sense. Is it difficult to feel compassion in a real life situation? Are we only robots who pretend to follow guidance in religious texts? If so, then we are totally disconnected from ourselves and from the path to God. What do we take ourselves as? Aren't we all living, spiritual beings? Isn't there great and marvelous potential in all of us? Why do we then blinding hand over all thinking to authority and texts? When we stop thinking and feeling, then we won't be able to extract much of worth even from divinely inspired texts, such as AQ. I'm sick of seeing debates between followers of different religions. They are just small battles of petty egos. To prove one religion better than another, is to prove one group better than another, is to judge one person better than another, is stinking ignorant arrogance. There's always a competition, comparison, defensiveness, putting the other one down and yourself up. This is NOT the way to God. Things were created with diversity. Let's celebrate it. Let there be real freedom. Let's not put anyone down. Let's do good and let's be working towards peace... not just outer peace but FIRST and foremost also inner peace. Without inner peace, there will not be outer peace. Also, we can never shove our own insights and epiphanies down someone else's throat. Ultimately everyone has to learn for themselves. Compulsion in "religious matters" will not lead to anything good. The only compulsion there is is the deen, and that deen is not something that can be enforced by human beings. The real deen is a system woven into the very fabric of the universe... like natural laws by bigger. Islam, the Religion, is not a deen. Islam may be a "way of life" as it so popularly it is called, but it is not the deen, obviously. Cheers

Peace all Our Lord, I have settled SOME (UNSPECIFIED NUMBER) of my OFFSPRING in an UNCULTIVATED valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that THEY may OFFER / PERFORM / ESTABLISH the RITUAL SALAT . So make hearts among the people incline toward THEM and provide for THEM from the fruits that THEY might be grateful 1437 Who are THEY and THEM in the above verse? Is it ONLY ISMAIL? OR PLUS ISMAIL? Who is / are that / those PLUS offspring? What is LI YUQIMU that they MAY (EXPRESSING POSSIBILITY) NOT SURE. Was Prophet Abraham not SURE that his offspring WILL offer / perform / establish the RITUAL SALAT? Anyway the PURPOSE behind the settling of the sons of Abraham in the uncultivated valley was to OFFER / PERFORM / ESTABLISH the RITUAL PRAYER. I would like to ask a question. Were prophets and messengers sent to OFFER RITUAL PRAYERS? If the answer is YES then go ahead and offer the NONSENSE RITUAL PRAYER and if NO then ponder over the WORD AQIM (ESTABLISH) and think what is that which can be ESTABLISHED. Did Abraham and SOME (unspecified number) of his offspring (although the HADITH denies Ishaq being present in MECCA and mentions only one OFFSPRING Ismail) were settled to offer the RITUAL SALAT? If SALAT is a Ritual Salat, then why the hell they traveled all the way from Palestine to Mecca? (although the story is a straight lift from the Bible and made additions to it (MECCA) and which is again not validated by the Quran) They would have better offered the SALAT at their homes. 1400 years have passed and the traditionalist have yet to prove the RITUAL SALAT from the QURAN. The 5 names of the prayers, the fixed timings of the prayers (according to mechanical watch), the units of prayer, the recitations (WHAT) in the prayer, the Ruku, the Sujud, the Qiblah, the Tahiyya, the sending of blessings on the prophet via Allah, the Salam and REHMAT at the end to WHOM (to two or more than two person / angel (Allah knows to whom). What is not "IN" the QURAN is a "CONJECTURE". What is that which SHOULD be ESTABLISHED? And had they ESTABLISHED the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was sent down unto them from their Lord, they would have devoured from above them and from beneath them. Among them is a community right-doing; but many of them - vile is that which they work! 566 The Torah and the Injeel were sent down as guidance to mankind and to ESTABLISH the commands therein. The Quran was also sent down to be ESTABLISHED, but the Muslims failed in their covenant with Allah Say thou people of the Book! You are not on anything until you ESTABLISH the Taurat (the commands, instructions, guidance therein) and the Injeel (the commands, the instructions, the guidance therein) and (ESTABLISH) that which is now sent down unto you (Quran) from your Lord. And that which hath been sent down unto thee (Quran) will surely increase many of them in exorbitance and infidelity; so mourn thou not over and disbelieving people 568 The people of the Book are not on anything unless they ESTABLISH their books plus Quran. In the same way Muslims also do not stand upon anything unless they ESTABLISH the Quran. Not once did Allah say, O ye who believe, ?Establish the QURAN? WHY? Think over it? thanks

Dear Scribbler How you came to the conclusion that the said verses are in the context of CONVERSION? Show me one verse in the Quran wherein Allah has imposed His will on His subject. The practice of imposition is an act of mankind and specially the traditional Muslims and not Allah. Allah gives you choice and not compulsion Indeed, We created MAN from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing 762 Indeed, We GUIDED him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful 763 Every human being is GUIDED to the way, but it depends upon the individual to accept the way of the LORD or reject it. Indeed, this is a reminder, so whoever WILLS may take to his Lord a way 7319 It is the will of the individual to take a way to his Lord and not FORCE or COMPULSION Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth). 6111 On one side Allah says that the DISBELIEVERS will not BELIEVE even if the Angels were sent to them, the dead speak to them and all things gathered in front of them. On the other side Allah wants to CONVERT them by FORCE? This kind of belief is a mockery of Allah?s wisdom. Among mankind are people who are BELIEVERS, JEWS, CHRISTIANS, HINDUS, BUDDHISTS, COMMUNIST, ATHIEST and this is because mankind has a CHOICE. If there is no CHOICE and only COMPULSION then all mankind would be BELIEVERS only. And had thy Lord willed, those who are on the earth would have believed, all of them, together; canst thou then compel mankind until they become believers? 1099 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have BELIEVED - all of them entirely. Then, , would you COMPEL the people in order that they become BELIEVERS? 7319 We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by FORCE. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning! 5045 Can you challenge the above verse? IT is the WILL of the Lord, the CHOICE of MANKIND and NO FORCE of Allah REPENT is the key word to understand the above two verses. I would like to remind you that DISBELIEVING is not a CRIME but a CHOICE for the mankind. REPENT Feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin / View or think of (an action or omission with deep regret or remorse) VIOLATION of PEACE TREATY is a sinful action Why should the disbelievers repent? And if they repent then the repentance is for which crime? Do you think that they should repent because they did not believe? If the subject is belief then it should have been addressed either in the preceding verses or the succeeding verses, but on the contrary we find the subject COVENANT / PEACE TREATY which they violated umpteenth time The COMMAND against the violators of COVENANTS / PEACE TREATIES They are those with whom thou didst make a COVENANT, but they BREAK their COVENANT every TIME, and they have not the fear (of Allah). 856 So if you confront them in battle, treat them as to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may take admonition 857 If you fear treachery from any group, throw back (their COVENANT) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms for Allah loves not the treacherous 858 And if they VIOLATE their oaths after their COVENANT and DEFAME your DEEN, fight those leaders of infidelity-verily no oaths will hold in their case that haply they may desist 912 The first command towards the violators is to throw back their peace treaty and be at par with them and the second command is that in case the believers confront them in the battle then the believers should fight in a way that they should take admonition, the third command is to fight with the leaders of infidels who violate their COVENANT and defames the DEEN (SYSTEM) of Allah The COMMAND towards those who DO NOT offer PEACE Surely ye will find others desiring, that they may be secure from you and may be secure from their people; and yet so oft as they are brought back into the temptation, they revert thereto. Wherefore if they withdraw not from you, NOR OFFER YOU PEACE, nor restrain their hands, lay hold of them and slay them wheresoever ye find them. These against them We have given you a clear warranty. 491 The command towards those who do not offer PEACE is to lay hold of them and slay them The COMMAND towards those DISBELIEVERS who offer PEACE If they incline toward PEACE, then you incline toward it (PEACE) and put your trust in Allah. Indeed He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing 861 Except those who seek refuge with a people between whom and you there is a covenant, or (those who) come unto you because their hearts forbid them to make war on you or make war on their own folk. Had Allah willed He could have given them power over you so that assuredly they would have fought you. So, if they hold aloof from you and wage not war against you and OFFER YOU PEACE, Allah allows you NO WAY AGAINST THEM 490 The command towards those who offer PEACE is to LEAVE THEIR WAY FREE Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent (for violating the PEACE TREATY before) and establish the (SALAT) COMMAND (of PEACE) and execute good conduct, THEN LEAVE THEIR WAY FREE. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 95 The repentance of the polytheists is for violating the peace treaties (856) Excepted are those with whom you made a TREATY among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their TREATY until their term . Indeed, Allah loves the righteous . 94 Then, when the sacred months have passed, confront the idolaters (who made treaties with you before and violated) wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent (for violating the PEACE TREATIES before) and establish the (SALAT) COMMAND (of PEACE) and execute good conduct, THEN LEAVE THEIR WAY FREE. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 95 How can there be for the polytheists COVENANT with Allah. and His apostle save for those with whom ye COVENANTED near the Sacred Mosque? Act straight with them so long as they act straight with you. Verily Allah loveth the God-fearing 97 As long as the polytheists, who have covenanted with the believers, act straight or do not violate the peace treaty the believers should act straight with them How (can it be)! while if they prevail against you, they would not pay regard in your case to TIES of RELATIONSHIP, nor those of COVENANT; they please you with their mouths while their hearts do not consent; and most of them are transgressors 98 They do not pay regard to TIES of RELATIONSHIP nor those of COVENANT in the CASE OF A BELIEVER; and these are they who are transgressors 910 But if they repent (for not paying regard to the ties of relationship and the COVENANTS in past) and establish the SALAT (command of peace) and execute good conduct, then they are your brethren in your in religion. We detail Our COMMANDS for a people who have knowledge 911 The polytheists never paid regards to ties of relationship and the covenants in respect of the believers but if they REPENT and pay regard to the ties of relationship and the covenants then they become brethren of the believers in their SYSTEM and not FAITH. What is in the system of Allah? In the system of Allah the believers are brethren (4911) the orphans are the brethren (2220), the enemies whose hearts were joined by Allah are brethren (3103) disbelievers and believers are brethren (3156/16, the disbelievers are brethren of those from the People of the Book who disbelieved (5911). Adopted sons are brethren (335) But if you held command, you were sure to make mischief in the land and CUT OFF the TIES OF KINSHIP 4722 In the DEEN (SYSTEM) of Allah each one is the brother of the other and the TIES OF KINSHIP has to be respected. The disbelievers did not respect the TIES OF KINSHIP in case of the BELIEVERS and the TREATIES, therefore for PEACE they should REPENT for their past sins, establish the COMMAND of PEACE and execute RIGHTEOUSNESS (and stop MOCKING) I think that the above material is enough to convince you that the above two verses are not revealed in the context of FORCED CONVERSION and neither of the Ritual Salat and giving of Zakat but to establish the COMMAND of PEACE and execution of RIGHTEOUSNESS. You may find weird when I interpreted SALAT as a COMMAND and ZAKAT as GOOD CONDUCT, because both the meanings are contrary to the traditional understanding. But at the end of the day what matters is whether the verse makes any sense or not by using the dictionaries, lexicons or invented meanings. Why ZAKAT is righteous / good conduct O ye who believe! take not protectors those who make a MOCKERY and fun of your (DEEN) SYSYTEM (a set of connected social guidance and instructions) from among those who have been vouchsafed the Book before you and the disbelievers (as) allies. And fear Allah if ye are believers 557 What is MOCKING TEASE or LAUGH at in a SCORNFUL or CONTEMPTUOUS manner To tease or laugh at in a scornful and contemptuous is an ACT OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS / BAD CONDUCT They not only mocked the DEEN but mocked Allah, His messenger, His Quran They say "Our hearts are under veils, (concealed) from that to which thou dost invite us, and in our ears in deafness, and between us and you is a screen so do thou (what thou wilt); for us, we shall do (what we will!)" 415 They mocked at the invitation of the Prophet which was for their own benefit and their mocking was a display of unrighteous conduct. They have rejected truth whenever it came to them, yet news will reach them concerning what they have been making a mockery of 65 They have indeed rejected (the Message) so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at 266 Nay! you wonder while they MOCK And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition And, when they see a Sign, turn it to MOCKERY And say, "This (Quran) is nothing but evident sorcery! 3712/13/14/15 And they say O thou unto whom the Reminder is revealed, lo! thou art indeed a MAD MAN 156 And now they reject the truth (Quran) when it reaches them but soon shall they learn the reality of what they used to MOCK AT. 65 And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were MOCKING 965 That is because you made a MOCKERY of God's revelations and were deluded by the life of this world." Therefore, today they will not be brought out of the Fire, nor will they be allowed to make amends 4535 Is mocking a bad conduct or a good conduct Indeed, those who committed crimes used to LAUGH at those who BELIEVED And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery); And when they returned to their own people, they would return JESTING; And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!" 8329/30/31/32 But you took them in MOCKERY to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to LAUGH at them 23110 The disbelievers always mocked and laughed at the believers, and this was a sign of UNRIGHTEOUSNESS Scan the Quran you will get all details of SADAQAAT but not a single verse wherein it says give zakat to whom, how much and when. ZAKAT as a CHARITY is an INVENTED meaning of the traditionalist. And we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in RIGHTEOUSNESS and nearer to mercy 1881 He said I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a son RIGHTEOUS 1919 And compassion FROM US, and RIGHTEOUSNESS; and he was devout 1913 And those who are GUIDED He increases unto them GUIDANCE, and GIVES them THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS 4717 The COMAPSSION/LOVE and RIGHTEOUSNESS is a GIFT FROM Allah, therefore it cannot be CHARITY And he commanded his people by the DIVINE COMMAND and (by) RIGHTEOUSNESS (Moral Principles), and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased 1955 RIGHTEOUSNESS Adhering to moral principles PURITY Freedom from adulteration or contamination, freedom from immorality, esp. of a sexual desire. No one can command BY/ WITH / THROUGH/ BY MEANS OF CHARITY or PURITY IT HAS TO BE RIGHTEOUSSNESS. What a pity that people talk of grammar while they themselves violate the rules of grammar while translating the verses of the Quran. And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me (BI S SALATI) prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive 1931 Preposition BI is omitted And he used to enjoin on his people (BI S SALATI) prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing. 1955 Preposition BI is omitted And enjoin (BI S SALATI) prayer upon your family and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the outcome is for righteousness 20132 Preposition BI is omitted Can I ask why such distortion? Is it only because they want to fit the meaning of SALAT as a ritual prayer either by hook or by crook? He said Surely I am a servant of Allah; He has given me the Book and made me a prophet 1930 And He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and He has ASSOCIATED /BONDED me WITH the DIVINE COMMAND and (WITH the) RIGHTEOUSNESS (Moral Principles) as long as I am alive 1931 Jesus was bonded with the Divine Command and righteous conduct since his birth and will remain bonded with him as long as he lives He said I am but a messenger from thy Lord that I may bestow on thee a boy of RIGHTEOUSNESS (Moral Principles) 1918 He said Surely I am a slave of Allah; He has given me the Book and made me a prophet 1930 And command thy people by the (SALAT) DIVINE COMMAND, and be STEADFAST (be resolutely firm and unwavering) over it. We ask thee not to provide sustenance We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness 20132 How can you be firm or resolute upon the RITUAL SALAT, whereas it is possible to be firm upon the Quran and its commandments. The prophet never warned his people by his own words but by the Quran (COMMAND) Say thou I only warn you by the REVELATION; and the deaf hearken not unto the call when they are warned 2145 We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat 5045 BY the Revelation BY the Qur'an? PRAYER (preposition BI (BY / WITH) omitted) Say I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah, therefore follow the right way to Him and ask His forgiveness; and WOE TO THE POLYTHEIST WHO EXECUTE / IMPLEMENT NOT RIGHTEOUSNESS (Moral Principles); and they in the Hereafter, are disbelievers 417/8 Is ZAKAT for only rich people are for ALL BELIEVERS (MEN. WOMEN, RICH, POOR) The believing MEN and believing WOMEN are allies of one another. THEY (believing MEN and believing WOMEN) enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and GIVE ZAKAT and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those - Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise. 971 ALL believers (MEN, WOMEN, POOR and RICH) GIVE ZAKAT, but today ONLY MEN who have resources GIVES ZAKAT? What about the POOR and the WOMEN? O Muslims awake from your sleep of ignorance otherwise it will be too late. If SALAT is mandatory for all believers then why ZAKAT is exempt for the WOMEN and the POOR. Has Allah given an option? Unfortunately for the traditionalist WOMEN are also commanded to give ZAKAT and that too UMMUL MOMINEEN And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish the DIVINE COMMAND, and execute righteous (conduct) and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, (of the) people of the DWELLING PLACE, and to make you pure and spotless 3333 If the wives of the prophet give ZAKAT then it means every woman should give ZAKAT, but the truth is that only men give ZAKAT and this is a violation of the command of Allah. If giving of ZAKAT is mandatory for the believers then what about those who receive the ZAKAT? Please note that the details of ZAKAT are not found in the Quran but Hadith and Allah has not setup any parameter for the payment of the ZAKAT. EXECUTION / IMPLEMENTATION of RIGHTEOUSNESS is mandatory for the matured believers, whether male or female, rich or poor. And they are those who are DOERS of the RIGHTEOUSNESS 234 Those who are true believers are always the DOERS of the RIGHTEOUSNESS, whereas those who are disbelievers will scorn at you when you invite them to the Divine Command. When ZAKAT as a charity is ruled out then there remains only one option and that is to accept ZAKAT as RIGHTEOUSNESS. AQIM = ESTABLISH 1. Set up (an organization, system or set of rules) on a firm or permanent basis Initiate or bring about (contact or COMMUNICATION) What is physically established is an organization, office, company, house etc. What are mentally established are laws, set of rules, instructions, and guidance, system etc. With reference to the above, IS RITUAL SALAT an ORGANISATION? IS RITUAL SALAT a SYSTEM? IS SALAT a SET OF RULES? IS SALAT a SET OF LAWS? IS SALAT a SET OF INSTRUCTIONS or GUIDANCE? If none of the above is RITUAL SALAT then how do you establish / set up the RITUAL SALAT? Now the question that arises in this scenario is what is that which can be ESTABLISHED. The likeness of those who are entrusted with the TAURAT, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guides not wrongdoing folk. 625 How better are the Muslims than the people of the Book? Muslims are also donkeys carrying the load of Quran on their back but follow the laws, ritual, instructions and guidance of the HADITH. So the Quran like Taurat and the Injeel must be ESTABLISHED How Quran is a COMMANDMENT Thus We have revealed it (QURAN) as a COMMANDMENT in Arabic. If you follow their desires after all the knowledge which has come to you, you would have no protector or shield against God 1337 And We wrote for him upon the Tablets an instruction and explanation of everything, So take them with firmness and COMMAND your people to take the best of it. Soon I shall show you the home of the wicked. 7145 And thou was not on the western side when We entrusted to Moses the the COMMANDMENT and thou was not of the witnesses 2844 And gave them clear evidence concerning the COMMANDMENT and they differed not until after the knowledge came unto them, through rivalry among themselves. Lo! thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ 4517 And thereafter We assigned you (the) responsibility (of) enacting/putting into practice concerning the COMMMANDMENT; so FOLLOW it thou (enact / proclaim/ put into practice the COMMANDMENT), and FOLLOW not the vain desires of those who know not. 4518 What did the prophet follow? Follow thou that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord no god is there but He; and turn thou away from the idolaters 6106 Follow that which is sent down toward you from your Lord, and follow not any patrons beside Him; yet little ye are admonished 73 And follow that which is revealed to thee from thy Lord; verily Allah is of that which ye Work ever Aware 332 Allah wrote on the tablets for Moses the instructions and explanation of all things and commanded Moses to command his people to follow the best of it (written on the tablet), but in spite of Allah giving them clear evidences of the COMMANDMENT, his followers differed after the knowledge reached them. Now the task of enacting / proclaiming / putting into practice the COMMANDMENT (Quran) was assigned to the Prophet with the command to follow the COMMANDMENT and not to follow the vain desires of those who know not. So Quran is itself a COMMANDMENT which contains various commands to be ESTABLISHED by the individual, society and the nation. Commands pertaining to Salat, Charity, Fasting, Hajj, orphans etc. should be established by the individual believer, Commands pertaining to divorce, inheritance, etc. should be established by the individual and by the society and all other commands pertaining to safety, security, of the land, justice, crimes, and punishment should be established by the government. If each individual executes his duty honestly, then there will be none in the society asking for his rights. Why SALAT is COMMAND and COMMUNICATION and not RITUAL PRAYER. The only thing that can be ESTABLISHED is the QURAN (and its COMMANDS) like TAURAT and the INJEEL and not the RITUAL PRAYER. SALAT pertaining to Allah is the COMMUNICATION that should be and can be ESTABLISHED. (follow the prayers of Moses 2014 and Zachariah 339) Thanks Please note that this is entirely my understanding and readers are requested to follow their own intellect

Q 1)You discuss 2238 and assume there are two salat each side of al salat al wusta - why two? why not 3 each side etc In 2238 why mention one of the five salat separately according to you, when it is already covered by the plural salawat? Answer Root " ". For convenience, an entry from Lane's Lexicon is reproduced hereunder properly, the part of which several lateral, or outer, portions are equal; as, for instance, the middle finger but also meaning the part which is surrounded, or enclosed, on its several sides, although unequally (Msb) or the part that is between the two sides or extremities of a thing; (M, IB, Mgh, K as, for instance, the centre of a circle] Yes, two, three, four, five can be on each side of same object- here Salaat. Since it is a definite noun-referring to the specific Salaat which is in the centre of equivalent number of specific As-sallat on its laterals. Specific number of As-Salaat is with reference to five timings-schedule which is mentioned in the article thereunder by quoting relevant Ayahs. Thereby the Al-Wusta has two each on its laterals. Do you think it is abnormality in the manner of placing emphasis by repeating with reference to a unit of whole in a compound sentence? Question According to you, which salat can be done on the move (2239) "al salat al wusta" or the other "salawat"? And what is your evidence for this. Answer After command, exception for exigencies of situations are mentioned. For As-Salat one has to stand in humble posture; when it is not adviseable to stop, permission is granted not to stand and verbally perform the As-Salat whichever of schedules timings it is. Question what is your evidence for "zulaf" meaning "early"? Answer It is already explained in the Article. Zulfan It is an Indefinite; broken plural; feminine noun in accusative case. The basic perception is to approach or draw near. These moments-duration is then described by its boundaries in the Ayah quoted therein-in this part The timings are set with reference to current local solar ephemeris of people. Question You repeatedly cite "salat al fajr" and "salat al 3sha" as reference points but you have no reference for the other alleged 3 salat hence refer to them as "this al salat" or "al salat for the point in time of...".etc etc - why does Quran not clarify the reference terms for the alleged other 3 in your view? If it does give the terms, please provide them. Answer Question 5's answer might be seen in my latest post in your thread. When discussing "salat al fajr" with me you said this is not a name of a "salat" but in your article you state "The other two prescribed al salat are also NAMED by the point in time" (then you reference 2458 Answer I did not expect such a question from an academic. A possessive phrase is not a name in the sense of specific identity. It denotes reference when associated with some point in time. "They are also referred by the point in time". Question You seemingly contradict yourself when you say "The remaining two timings for al salat are at two visual transition EDGES of the day which are in the LATER day..." - ask anyone about what the two edges of daytime are and they will never discuss them being later in the day. Answer This question too was not expected from an academic, particularly he who is compiling Root List using Lane. Please visit Lane and again my article. " " its basic perception as quoted in classical lexicon of Ibn Faris is That it leads to the perception of extremity of a thing and its corners-edges. Question 8 ) You seemingly have no break in-between some salat. Some of your 5 salat have specific times AND time-ranges whilst others do not - why? Answer Please visit your thread Assalat alwusta and see the image and schedule of five Salat. Question And if I may add another question how many years have you been reading and studying Quran? A rough figure will do. Answer Brother, irrelevant question. My study is uploaded on site. Please point out omissions for correction. Studying a book of foreign language is merely a skill of translating it; its comprehension is obtaining knowledge from it. I am a skilled laborer possessing complete kit of tools. Time is my contribution.
