Peace brother Traditional Islam hijacked GODs authority by putting another authority over the deen as well and they call it Islam of the Qoran. Muslim to GOD can be from any religion or from no religion. Only GOD knows the true inner most thoughts. Noah and Abraham had different rules, different religions have different rules, GOD knows that and that is why there is a common system of the belief in one GOD and the following of the "straight path"-good deeds and good morals- in all the sects and all humanity. Islam to GOD is not the "Muslim religion that some claim or we have today". Islam is not defined as following all the qoran and its laws. Islam was the only DEEN accepted by GOD throughout the human history, is and will be. Islam existed way before Qoran and Mohammed. Islam to GOD is an invitation to all mankind to acknowledge and believe in the Creator with sincerity and honesty and accept GOD s guidance to become straight(follow the straight path). i.e an individual relationship/attitude to start the process of guidance from GOD. Islam to GOD is accepting The one GOD as authority . Religions are diverse and have different rules. Believers in Qoran may differ in rules than believers in other scripture or bible or ... The only DEEN approved by God is "ISLAM." Ironically, those who have received the scripture are the ones who dispute this fact, despite the knowledge they have received, due to jealousy. For such rejectors of God's revelations, God is most strict in reckoning. If they argue with you, then say, "I have simply ASLAMTU- submitted myself to God; I and those who follow me." You shall proclaim to those who received the scripture, as well as those who did not, "Would you submit?" If they submit, then they have been guided, but if they turn away, your sole mission is to deliver this message. God is Seer of all people. If Islam is defined as following Mohammed and the rules of his message ,which I do not find that in Qoran, then this needs to be reconciled. 1- GOD makes it clear in Qoran that whoever accept ANY OTHER DEEN apart from ISLAm , will be with the losers. 2- Yet iinforms us as follows Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in God and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. You and I are not wakeel over people nor can we make assumptions that have no basis on who can can be a true Muslim to GOD. Anyone who is peaceful, believes in God and a good human is not the "enemy" . Actually I am many congregations and sects, Or shall I say I have no sect. Our universal unity comes from the big factor"GOD ALONE as authority, no idols" All the sects and factions "GOD is the one who will judge among them on the day of Resurrection. GOD witnesses all things.” Every day is a blessed day for all humans living on earth to appreciate their Creator. . GOD bless. Peace.

May Allah guide us . Do not worry. GOD Alone and scripture only guidance will prevail. We all get tried equally You will certainly be tested, through your money and your lives, and you will hear from those who received the scripture, and from the idol worshipers, a lot of insult. If you steadfastly persevere and lead a righteous life, this will prove the strength of your faith. We need to pass GOD s admission test after all! God took a covenant from those who received the scripture "You shall proclaim it to the people, and never conceal it." But they disregarded it behind their backs, and traded it away for a cheap price. What a miserable trade. They conceal Qoran and proclaim hadiths and nonsense to the people? If you say there is a verse that contradicts hadith ,they say that verse is "Mnsoukh! disregard it. Well discard GOD s authority then? There are even some followers of the previous scriptures who believe in God, and in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They reverence God, and they never trade away God's revelations for a cheap price. These will receive their recompense from their Lord. God is the most efficient in reckoning. So what happened to followers of Qoran? And why trade GOD s revelations with any other man s books/hadiths/source? GOD bless you . Peace.

Peace and welcome. verses are the words of GOD . Hadiths/words of men are not! Hikmah is understanding and applying GOD s "verses" in our life not just reciting them. GOD said ( yes in verses) that Qoran is complete, fully detailed ,has the explanations of everything. Understanding that NOTHING important to our salvation is outside it is part of that Hikmah. GOD also said He teaches Qoran and explains Qoran( yes in verses) . Nobody else can give you in their words/sayings or has authority that GOD said only He has and can do. Claiming that someone else can give us or has anything that is beneficial for our salvation is not what GOD is saying in Qoran. Traditional Islam and GOD s true Islam are not the same. True Islam is not a religion given to Mohammed, it is a state of mind to submit to GOD s authority Alone . No partners! Each one of us needs to believe that GOD alone and Qoran alone does this through our own study/striving/pondering/ believing ...His verses asking GOD to give us the Hikmah. i.e Not relying on anyone else! GOD has clearly defined for us the role of Qoran and has shown us why GOD s argument in Qoran is the best. Basically Qoran is all we need for our redemption/salvation.If anything else was important and essential for our salvation GOD would have told us to follow/use it. GOD did not forget to mention anything else like hadiths or any other men s book. Prophet Mohammed left us only Qoran, he did not have any other men s books nor lused any other books during his life. Does GOD say that Qoran is fully detailed, complete and instructs the prophet to use Qoran alone?619 قُل أَىُّ شَىءٍ أَكبَرُ شَهٰدَةً قُلِ اللَّهُ شَهيدٌ بَينى وَبَينَكُم وَأوحِىَ إِلَىَّ هٰذَا القُرءانُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِ وَمَن بَلَغَ أَئِنَّكُم لَتَشهَدونَ أَنَّ مَعَ اللَّهِ ءالِهَةً أُخرىٰ قُل لا أَشهَدُ قُل إِنَّما هُوَ إِلٰهٌ وٰحِدٌ وَإِنَّنى بَرىءٌ مِمّا تُشرِكونَ Warn all generations with this Qoran. GOD s words are enough for salvation. GOD has provided His words for Adam to redeem him,and GOD does the same for all humans. He provides His words and insists they are sufficient for redemption. The argument that Ahadiths or any men s books/words are useful is nil as far as redemption is concerned. But if one argues there is some other use for them like science, harry potter, medical books, history books and all sorts of other books, then they are free to do so. However Qoran alone is enough for our redemption. If we believe in GOD,then we should believe GOD as well,His words never run out. However, many are not satisfied to use Qoran alone- QORAN WAHDAHU- they need other materials!) 1746 ...وَإِذا ذَكَرتَ رَبَّكَ فِى القُرءانِ وَحدَهُ وَلَّوا عَلىٰ أَدبٰرِهِم نُفورًا "When you preach GOD using Qoran alone, they run away in aversion." 362 وَالقُرءانِ الحَكيمِ Qoran is Hakeem 101 الر تِلكَ ءايٰتُ الكِتٰبِ الحَكيمِ 358 ذٰلِكَ نَتلوهُ عَلَيكَ مِنَ الـٔايٰتِ وَالذِّكرِ الحَكيمِ Hikmah is contained within Qoran itself,. "Litubayyina linnas" is also contained in Qoran, i.e Qoran ( Coming through you ) will do this 262 تِلكَ ءايٰتُ الكِتٰبِ المُبينِ Qoran is mubeen. Theses verses- and many other verses- are GOD s argument that He provides for us in Qoran to use Qoran alone. Any other authority used for our deen will be setting up partners with GOD s authority and is shirk. The choice is ours. GOD Alone or others or a mixture . However the mixture ,like others is a lethal dose of shirk. GOD bless you. Peace.

One thing everyone should understand when it comes to fasting is the simole way it has been explained... These verses from 2183-187 are not something that is to research and research and find out answer when to fast for those when it was revealed.. Remember it is a command in Quran so every believer knew when to fast.. No wanted to question Mohamed we don't understand when to fast or how many days to fast... So for immediate recipients of these verses who lived with Mohamed were not an issue.. So it means they got what the verses say... It literally indicates that verses are not tough to grasp but time has elapsed and the meaning of Arabic words and familiarity of words and phrases are considerably changed... God made it simple. .but nowadays we find comprehensive research on this topic... Of course QURAN is a book that deserve research or explore.. But when instructions given by God to perform something to people of Muhamed it doesn't need exploration but in plain language.. And just do it.. Well.. We are living in a very unfortunate period to certain extent.. Simple instructions of Quran is hard for us.. But for true believers it may be a guidance from God to choose what is right.. When God orders something for every believer to do in general and if those verses are not within the understanding of common folks then it is a big joke.. Verses which need exploration are different... But instructions to follow doeant need research for followers of that time.. God bless us..

salaam Peace Salam I noticed @noshirk has not posted since 2019 - Scouring through his posts I was shocked by his weird insights such as Miriam mother of Issa being sister of Moses, Ramadan where there is no fasting, Medina not being the town where Mohamed (P) & muhajiroon emigrated, that events of Qur'an happened in East Arabia (Oman, Bahrain), not West Arabia & so on... I am glad I did not read those posts before his insights of Ramadan being as 7th full moon after the Spring equinox, otherwise I would have dismissed him outright. Kamal Salibi did a far better forensic job about Jesus Christ vs yeshu bar nagarah which I posted about in a separate thread. Yet noshirk complains about pazuzu joining the flat Earth cult, but his outrageous claims (like Ayman's Jinn being fantasies) are as ludicrous.

Thank you everyone for taking your time and posting what is floating in your headspace about this strange case. Appreciate it a lot. God bless you all. Peace Peace... Self perceive it... That's the best option... otherwise many Many more activities in Quran may not be viable for those in Scandinavia... For example.. God says believers stand up at night.. Read Quran at Fajr, they discard their sleep.. There is sign in day and night... Our Lord brings the sun from East... But if sun never sets it won't come from east literally... By the sun and its brightness... By the glow of sunset... So many you can pick... These may not give much meaning when you happen to live your entire life six months in darkness and fix months probably sun not setting... Does it mean God doesn't know these places on earth... Somehow God's law best suit to most of the places on earth... https//youtu.be/U-TlmtQ7zIc Nice video watch pls..

Peace! If we assume that Ramadan was the month considered when Muslims begin fasting, then I wonder if anyone knows the answer to the question when Ramadan fell as a month during the time of the Prophet, given that the hijri calendar was introduced after his death. Obviously, the practice in question differs when one began fasting during the time of the Prophet and during the present time. Do Muslims dare to admit that in that case they do not follow the practice of the Prophet? Peace, aligns with perf558 first new month starting after the first full moon after the summer solstice (opposite for s. hemisphere i.e. use winter solstice) count 12 and skip occasional 13th … 2185 شهر shahru/lunar cycle رمضان ramadan (heat) الذى the one انزل descends فىه in it القرن the Qur’an/recitation... Salam. In 7142-143, we have Moses being given 40-days to wait before being able to speak with God (broken down into 30+10 days)" 7142 And We set a meeting for Moses in thirty nights, and We complemented them with ten, so the designated time of his Lord was set at forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron "Be my successor with my people and be upright, and do not follow the path of the corrupters." 7143 So when Moses came to Our designated time, and his Lord spoke to him, he said "My Lord, let me look upon you." He said "You will not see Me, but look upon the mountain, if it stays in its place then you will see Me." So when his Lord revealed Himself to the mountain, He caused it to crumble; thus Moses fell unconscious. When he awoke, he said "Glory to You, I repent to You and I am the first of those who believe." So, after waiting alone for 30+10 days, God spoke to Moses and revealed His commands.. Yet, to show that this was not to be a "one-off" event, we have Moses once again holding his people to attend to God's designated time 7155 And Moses selected from his people seventy men for Our designated time; so when the earthquake seized them, he said "My Lord, if You wished You could have destroyed them before this, and me as well. Will you destroy us for what the foolish among us have done? It is all Your test, You misguide with it whom You please and You guide with it whom You please. You are our Supporter, so forgive us and have mercy on us; You are the Best Forgiver." The questions I have for this post Why did God break the period into 2 sections (30+10) and not give the 40 days outright? If this event repeats (as evidenced by 7155), then can it be done today? Jesus is said to have secluded himself for 40 days during his mission (source Bible "temptation of Christ&quot - same reason? Is the fast of 2183-185 (which seems to be broken down into 2 sections) related to this goal of meeting God in His designated time? Good topic.. Just for info..in my understanding and practice.. I take the start of shahr in full moon and not new moon.. It makes things easier... Is their anyone who thinks shahr starts with full moon...

Peace, The meaning of siyam in the Reading 2185 The shahr of Ramadhan, in which the Qur'an was sent down as a guide to the people and a clarification of the guidance and the criterion . Those of you who have witnessed the shahr shall fast it; and whoever is ill or traveling, then the same count from different days. God wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and magnify God for what He has guided you to, and that you may be thankful. As for alhajj, God shows us what is allowed and what is not allowed durind the nignt and the day of siyam. Do not to be confused these prescriptions with the meaning of hajj or siyam. Siyam concerns the night and the day, there is no interruption. 2187 It has been made permissible for you during the night of siyam to approach your women sexually. They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them. God knew that you used to betray your souls, so He has redeemed you, and forgiven you; now you may approach them and seek what God has written for you. And you may eat and drink until the white thread is distinct from the black thread of dawn; then you shall complete the fast until night; and do not approach them while you are devoted in the temples. These are the boundaries of God, so do not transgress them. It is thus that God clarifies His revelations to the people that they may be righteous. 2197 The Pilgrimage is in the appointed months; so whoever decides to perform the Pilgrimage in them, then there shall be no sexual approach, nor wickedness, nor baseless argument in the Pilgrimage. And any good that you do, God is aware of it; and bring provisions for yourselves, though the best provision is righteousness; and be aware of Me O you who possess intelligence. Peace

Peace! Lunisolar Calendar was in use by the most of the ancients till the church changed it to a pure solar calendar. Also the pure luni calendar is an innovation by the so loved khalif umar https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbzFGEfgP_8 Our ulama justify it with the Qur'ans claim about the arbitrary adjustment of the 13th month, but it is only directed to the responsible for that manipulation during the times of the jahiliyya. The Lunisolar Calendar has a fixed system for the adjustment of the 13th month. Year begins when the sun enters aries (spring) and ends when it leaves pisces (winter).

Hello, as a side note, this is my personal view on fasting. When I was fasting in a muslim country, during the day and even when sun set approaches I use to avoid going out. The reason was because many people are let say quiet nervous, and a fight in the street was not so unusual. This is in fact something quiet natural and scientificaly demonstrated https//www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/hanger-real-psychological-hangry-anger-hunger-food-blood-sugar-levels-hormones-nutrition-a8338786.html Now you might say, ok but fasting is to control yourself etc etc...these people are just bad people. OK Right but I can tell you sel control is not for every one! Another side effect. In European countries now a days I read an article saying that more and more young children in basic schools (from 6-12) come at school fasting! This is again another misuse of fasting. Now let me re-phrase my simple question Why do you abstain from eating and drinking? What is the goal, what does it bring to you? Peace No hate just love Herbman

Salam, Ayat 105 makes it clear that the calendar should be Lunar. I am confused about 1712, why should we infer from 1712 that calendar should be solar from days and nights. Days and nights are in Lunar year also. Especially so, as if you look deeply the Word ' Sana' is used for Lunar year and word 'Aam' for solar year, see Sura Yusuf, where the word 'Aam' is used with reference to cultivation of crops.

I am fasting today too. The Saudi authorities added a day to Shaban and removed one from Shawwal, because they want to see the moon directly...

Hi all, I am currently pondering over an issue regarding fasting that, I think, has not been discussed here yet I am trying to understand the nature of the -hu suffix in falyasumhu in verse 2185 So whoever witnesses among you the moon/month he should fast (in) it. I hope to get some input from someone who understands the Arabic language better than I do. My understanding is the following -hu is a (attached pronoun). As such it can either be in the (accusative) or (genitive) case. I can think of two different kinds of accusative words that would make sense in this situation (direct object) of yasum. Falyasumhu would then mean ?he should fast it?, i.e. he should fast the . Normally, -hu is interpreted in this way (see e.g. http//corpus.quran.com/treebank.jsp?chapter=2&verse=185&token=13). But I think -hu could also be a (adverb of time). Falyasumhu would then mean ?he should fast IN it?. I could find support for this only in Sam Gerrans? translation of the Qur?an. So why is the distinction important? If -hu was a direct object, it would probably mean that we are supposed to fast over the course of the whole (whether that means the duration of the full moon or the whole month). If -hu was an adverb of time, however, it would mean that we are supposed to fast in for some unspecified amount of time. In my opinion the second option makes more sense from a language point of view. ?Fasting the month? sounds wrong to me, I do not think that ?to fast? can take a period of time as a direct object. But I?m not an expert on these issues, maybe I?m wrong. So my main questions to you are Do you see any problems with option 2 from a grammar or textual point of view? And do you know any verse in the Qur?an where an attached pronoun undoubtedly is an adverb of time? Peace, Mike You are right that it is in accusative state as direct object of the verb and is referent for . And the verbal sentence is the apodosis clause of the condition. itself signifies time duration. Fasting itself is for a duration of the day which is a unit of month. So meanings are explicit. "He should fast during the month". Next clause also makes clear.

There are more bloopers. And thank God that they failed because it's already hard enough to see through all the smoke. Another blooper is the crucifixion and death of Jesus. The sectarian self proclaimed followers of Mohammad went crazy with those narrations. The Bible and the Quran confirm the crucifixion and death of Jesus. The sectarians invented narrations and twist the Quranic words, English translations, "and it looked like that for them", into a major blooper They claim that Judas was crucified and murdered instead of Jesus, while the Bible already told us that Judas was dead because he killed himself because he betrayed Jesus. The true meaning is, "they didn't crucify him nor kill him, but it looked like that as if they did", is that the Pharisees and the Roman soldiers and those who were against the Messiah thought that they crucified him and they thought that they killed him. But that wasn't they case, since they can't kill the soul, and Jesus was even raised from the death after 3 days, and stayed on earth for a while until the angels took him into Heaven. But yet the sectarian narrators missed the point here. Thank God, they are exposed now. But yeah, there are a lot more.
