Oral Debate between Ayman and Edip...
-
AYMAN at 19.org/forum
"Any weekend starting from October 18th onwards should work. I believe that Johnny K mentioned something about setting something up so that we can do it via the web and it is easy for everyone to listen-in on the debate."
Then, I propose the Oral debate titled "Nineteen a Fitna or a Sign" via either PALTALK or INSPEAK, inshallah to be held on October 19th, SUNDAY morning, 10 AM Arizona time.
After receiving your acceptance of this proposal, I will delegate some of my friends to secure a video conferencing room via either Inspeak or Paltalk. Then, we will announce the time and place of the debate through our contacts and various websites.
We also need to set up some procedural rules.
What do you think?
Peace,
Edip -
Peace Edip, everyone,
Just so that everyone can see the context, I am providing the link below to the simple question that I asked on the 19.org forum, which so far has remained unanswered. This simple question and the arguments I got from Edip and others is why we are now going to have this oral debate

Thanks for choosing an appropriate title.

I knew you couldn't resist the 19th. Edip, you are so predictable.

Sounds good. Also, as Zidane suggested, if the conferencing application allows recording the session and downloading it for later access or sharing with others who couldn't attend then this would be ideal.
We also need to set up some procedural rules.
What do you think?Absolutely. Please let me know what rules you would like to have. Here is my only suggestion for a rule (which will actually help you too if you think about it)
- No responding to logical arguments with huge calculations and numbers.
Thanks,
Ayman

If one has a better idea than Paltalk or Inspeak, please let us know. I was not thinking of recording the debate. But, we would like to know if you have a way to record it at Paltalk or Inspeak or something comparable to those programs...
As choosing 19 for the date, it was Ayman who announced that he would be available after 18th of October. So, I did not want to waste even one day, and the first day after 18th would be 19th. Perhaps, he wanted me to skip 19?
Besides, 19th of the month is the best date to discuss 19; it is memorable.
Ayman is even more predictable than my sense of appreciating harmony his allergy to 19! Ironically, he was the one who supported my choice by suggesting a date "after the 18th of October". ;D
Peace,
Edip -
Peace be upon you,
Fantastic...remember there is no arguing(jidala) in the debate(hajj).
How does one get into these sites you are talking about, I want to listen.
-
Nothing good will come of this because neither one thinks that the other one could be right. Niether Ayman nor Edip will learn anything. Maybe the ones listening will, but there are already over 2000 posts on the forum telling us what they both think.
I honestly think that whether the code 19 exists or not is meaningless. The fact remains that even if it did exist it would serve no real purpose.

What do you think?
Peace,
EdipSalaam,
How sad, one carries the avator code, 19 and the other the scorching moon; two brilliant minds wasting time on a debate in order to win followers. Valuable time is spent on advocating theories rather than pondering the many signs of God. '(peace

hahaha I think it's irrelevant. full stop.
Instead of making fun of it we should learn code 19 and spread this code of God so that this world becomes a more peaceful place. Positive thinking always helps.
-
Peace be upon you,
What can 19 do for me?
-
Now you believe in man made quran, once you believe in 19 you would believe in the real quran which is God made the one without the last two verses of chapter 9 elhamdulillah. So basically you would come to the straight path after. All praise to God. Our Lord always increase us in knowledge!
-
Peace to all,
well Rasul, I already believe the Quran is from God so what will code 19 do for me? And lets assume we remove the last two verse of chapter 9 , so what does that achieve, it changes nothing does it, the verse neither take nor add to the Quran in my opinion. Everytime I read the verses now they dont sound quite right to me and I used to think maybe they dont belong, but the more we discuss it the more i think its only because we are focussing on those two verses that they are not sounding like they fit.
AS for the code 19, it really changes nothing for me, and maybe for others it will help them believe in God, which would be a good thing, so go for it. Godspeed to both brothers Ayman and Edip, I would love to watch the debate.
