Excellent.
- He is a special favour of Allah (Sub?hanahu wa Ta?ala) (3164)
"special favour" is too small a word to depict what Arabic word conveys. Allah has done innumerable favours upon humans but He does not remind us with the use of word "Manna". It is obligation creating favour. We must remain obliged for this obliging favour of Allah of sending him, from the Abode of Praise, as our Guide Lord and remember him with respect and reverence while reading Qur'aan whereby we might feel as if he is present with us as Warner/Awakener/Revivalist- Loving Guide 619.

For all those who are just jealous of our beloved prophet Mohammad PBUH
laughDear RasulHamsa,
With all due respect, but your elaborate copy & paste listing points to nothing but manifest WORSHIPING of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)! The verses you have brought up (I mean the ones with the correct translations and interpretations) are about the living commissioned messenger not the 1400-year dead man. You are doing exactly the same the Christendom is doing regarding Jesus (pbuh). As the matter of fact your ideological forefathers started the EXAULTATION of the prophet Muhammad just to compete with Christians in order to ward off the ?inferiority? factor against the Catholic Church.
The number of verses telling us that Muhammad was only a human being like us, that he did not know the unseen / GHAYB, that he was prone to making mistakes, that he continuously was ordered by GOD to ask for forgiveness of his sins, that he was reminded to just convey the Qur?aan and that the guidance is GOD?S ALONE, that he was going to die like everyone else, and? are way more numerous than the verses you?ve listed.
Like I said, and as the common sense implies, the SOCIAL status of the LIVING and AUTHORIZED messenger of GOD is quite a different story. Yes, he must be obeyed because GOD gives him the authority. Yes, he must be respected more than any other authority because GOD is the ONE giving him the authority. Yes he must be followed in his very footsteps to be able to act as an effective LEADER, in an organized, efficient, and effective manner. Yes he must be obeyed in order for the mission to be successful.
At the present, there are over one billion ?Muslims? in the world and the main factor in the backwardness of this huge community, being dominated by NONE Muslims, is nothing but the DESERTION of the MESSAGE / the Qur?aan on their part, and WORSHIPING the messenger (and in the case of the Shi?ah sect, worshiping more than a dozen deities they call imams, saints, and?) instead. Surly, the ?Muslims?? situation will not improve until they STOP worshiping other than GOD and start following the Qur?aan Alone, discarding all the nonsense called Hadith, Sunnah, and ?
So, as a GOD ALONE, QUR?AAN ALONE Muslim and according to the commandments of ALLAAH (SWT) I warn you again. The GOD?S ULTIMATE Judgment will be upon us, and as the Qur?aan says, it will come sooner than later. Come back to the straight path of GOD ALONE, QUR?AAN ALONE, the only acceptable RELIGION to ALLAAH (SWT). Start warding off the endless retribution of WORSHIPING other than GOD.
Peace,
Khalil -

Like it or not but as long as we have the book, the man is not gonna die! You should be proud that you are a follower of a great man!

And I tell you this. Know that the messenger of GOD has been dead for more than 1400 years. He is no longer among us, But the message he brought from GOD is going to be with us for the rest of human life on Earth.

The Qur'aan is the EVERLIVING ETERNAL messenger. I don't blame you guys. You prefer to follow the dead messenger's manmade "Hadith & Sunnah". You have long deserted the Qur'aan anyway!
peace,
KhalilNo sir, you are wrong! If we have great respect for the messenger doesn't necessarily mean that we follow hadith and sunnah! thanks anyway! May Allah bless you with peace of mind!

peace,
KhalilWe follow the Word spoken by him and not that which people, the gossip mongers, keep attributing to him. The words he spoke are written pernanently in the same syllables he had spoken, in Grand Qur'aan. The Grand Qur'aan is not the messenger, it is the statement made by the Messenger

Dear Mazhar,
So you say that you do not follow Hadith & Sunnah and that you only follow the Qur?aan. On that note I have to say to you SALLAAMUN ?ALAIKUM BROTHER.
Now out of curiosity just let me ask you just a couple of specific questions.
The Qur?aan commands us to stand up for SALAAT in commemoration of ALLAAH (SWT), 2014
1). Do you COMMEMORATE other than ALLAAH in your SALAAT?
The Qur?aan commands us not to call upon ANYONE alongside with ALLAAH in the MASAAJID, 7218.
2). Do you mention anyone other than ALLAAH in your ADZAN / IQAAMAH?
I have more questions for you. I?ll ask them later, INSHAA ALLALH.
With Salaam,
Khalil -
The Qur?aan commands us to stand up for SALAAT in commemoration of ALLAAH (SWT), 2014
1). Do you COMMEMORATE other than ALLAAH in your SALAAT?
All Muslims commemorate Allah in their salat, regardless of sect.
Do you recite Qur'an in your salat? If you do, there are many stories in Qur'an that mention many names besides Allah. Surah 18 contains the story of Musa as and Al Khidr, with several verses making no mention of Allah swt. For you, would reciting these ayat of Qur'an be tantamount to commemorating Musa as?
The Qur?aan commands us not to call upon ANYONE alongside with ALLAAH in the MASAAJID, 7218.
The verse commands you to worship Allah alone with no partners.
2). Do you mention anyone other than ALLAAH in your ADZAN / IQAAMAH?
The adzan and iqaama mention the name of the Prophet saw not as a partner to Allah swt. To suggest this is so is a strawman. The words are clear - 'I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' This is true. How can any truth be shirk? How can stating truth be considered associating partners with Allah? How can saying this in the masjid be in violation of 7218, when Muhammad is not being called upon to worship?

kgwithnob,
You did not say a single word about the Aayaat quoted alongwith original Arabic text of Qur'aan on the basis of which wish was made.
Dear Mazhar,
This is a forum, not an inquisition board! You expect me to respond to your irrelevant demands, but you yourself did not respond to my very straightforward and simple questions at all. After all, fairness is a virtue.

Here is my Ultimate Answer to the Top Question of the Blind followers of Shiite and Sunni Dogmas
Edip Yuksel
Like many of those who have rejected polytheism and decided to dedicate the system to God alone by following Quran alone as sole authority for our eternal salvation, I am tired of hearing ignorant enemies of islam (peacemaking), the question of sunni and shiite mushriks "If you follow the Quran alone, then tell me how can you observe the Sala prayer?"
I have learned that it is futile to inform them that the Sala prayer did not start with Muhammad, or that his Hadith-Sunna sources did not have video clips of Muhammad, that it is impossible to observe Sala according to Hadith books since they contain many contradictory reports, or that the required details of Sala is already given by the Quran, or that the details they are looking for are trivial and their mentality is no different than those Jews who asked the color and age of the heifer? or any other answer that require acknowledgement of the Quran, critical thinking, and cognitive skills... They just do not get it. They are under hypnosis of devils who continuously tell them that "God is not enough" that "God's word is useless without the Hadith," stories fabricated and reported by the enemies of the messenger (6112-116, and many other verses where the word Hadith is used for other than the Quran) ...
So, here is my answer to those who bring up the details of Sala prayer, when they are reminded with the message of the Quran
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to follow Hadith and Sunna, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to give up using my brains and become a muqallid (blind follower of a dogma), I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to add Muhammad's name NEXT TO God in KALIMA-YI TAWHID (Statement of Unity), I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to kill those who turn away from my religion, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to follow a role-model who married a 9 years-old girl while he was a 54 years-old man, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to follow role-model who tortured and gouged people's eyes with hot nails, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to believe that God's chosen role model could not learn how to read and write while delivering a book for 23 years, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to believe that if my mother and sister pass in front of my prayer I should consider them like a dog and pig, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to believe that following the Prophet means following those who fabricated false stories 200-300 years after him, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to believe that all those companion of the Prophet Muhammad who killed each other after Muhammad, without exception are my guiding stars, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to believe that my Holy Book's verses contradict each other and thus abrogate each other, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to believe that a hungry holy goat ate the "verse of stoning" and thus it was abrogated from the Quran after Muhammad's death, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to stone people do death for adultery, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I must embrace and practice the medieval Arab and Jewish culture as divine law I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to prohibit God's blessings, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to force my wife, sister or daughter to walk in a black sack, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to be an ingrate and betrayer of the Quran, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray I have to believe in sahaba with extraordinary memories who reported the last statements of the last sermon of the Prophet Muhammad in three contradictory versions, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray I have to believe that the Quran alone misguides people while at the same time I should respect hadith books reporting that all prominent companions of the Prophet Muhammad agreed with Omar's statement, "Hasbuna Kitabullah" (God's Book is Sufficient for us), yes, if I need to swim in the quagmire of contradictions, then I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I have to dream living in a country governed by mullahs, Talibans, salafis and oppressive kings I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to screw up my brain with the volumes of contradictory hadith and sectarian teachings, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to express my devotion to God alone by telling him "iyyaka nabudu wa iyyaka nastain" but while sitting I need to betray those words by addressing his prophet in second person, "assalamu alayKA AYYUHA an-Nabiyyu", thereby considering a dead person another Omnipresent god, I would prefer not to pray at all.
If in order to pray with all the trivial details I need to be an ignorant polytheist who follow a religion concocted by a corporation consisting of Allah + Muhammad + Sahaba + Tabiin + Emams + Clergymen, I would prefer not to pray at all.
The Sala prayer according to the Quran prohibits evil and vice (2945) but the Sala prayer according to Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ibn Hanbal, Kitab al-Kafi, Man la yahduruhu al-Faqih, Tahdhib al-Ahkam, Al-Istibsar, etc, promotes evil and vice, ignorance and arrogance.
Peace,
I would sig this...but it is too long. I would profile this..but I can't. However I have to say, nice points.
Also, IMO, the salat is no prayer. Du'a is the definition for prayer...whereas salat is making a bond, being close to God by following the Quran i.e. his words. Another theory I have of what Allah means by the salat is the "wudu" itself. Yes, crazy as it may sound, but I believe at one point God gives the very directions to the 'mysterious' salat
"When you perform the salat (bond), wash your face/feet/arms/head (I don't think this is in order)"
Wouldn't these be the directions to God's salat? Or does anyone else think this is crazy?
In addition, at Fajr time, God says perform the salat (the so-called "wudu" of sunnism and shiism) and read the Quran as well.
Now, wudu may or may not be in the Quran. I have not read it for a very long time so I wouldn't know, but I don't think it is.
Nowhere do I see or read about a ritual prayer in the Quran, and I don't find it a problem physically prostrating (I'm not talking about the salat anymore now by the way, since I don't think salat means prayer) as long as it is not in the direction of something. Muslims prostrate in the direction of a physical object...but I don't think God ever said to do this...I think I read him saying to go somewhere (the house of Allah) and pray there, not to physically prostrate to something, going around it etc. I really get the creeps thinking all Muslims pray 5 times a day directing it at some physical object on Earth...that is no different to me than worshipping a statue. It may or may not be the house of God. The point is God didn't say prostrate in its direction...and it wouldn't make sense that he would...
I still lol @ the muslim belief that the Jews and Christians are cursed partially or mostly because they don't follow their teachings such as hijab/beard/circumcision/stoning/going to pray at the temple once a week. Lolz, actually, I think God cursed the Jews/Christians because of those dumb teachings, now most of them abandoned these and currently the muslims are practicing them.

in the quran it is all clear.but to now it one must read it first.
and listen to it.
salat means to mention,we ordered to do that as god told us in the quran and as he tought us in the quran ,it is clear that we are given the words we have to say,as was adam given the words to be forgiven.
we cannot come upwith our own words,in our prayers.
that is what we have been told in the quran.
as for those who believe it ,they will follow it,and for those who do not believe it thenthey wont follow it,
and not every one will believe, only those Allah most gracious wills.
sunnas shi'as well they seem to misunderstand the point of what is islam in the first place.
they have misunderstanding.but i am not the one who will judge,,,,,,,,never go there.
not even the prophet judged ,he was told that he was sent with the massage as a warner not a judge.
salam.
salat timing and performance is all there in the quran.
and if we misinterpret somehting from the quran ,allah says that he will judge us according to our hearts and not our understanding.
brothers let the quran guide you .
