I'll stick to shopping and spending like a good little bimbo (lifes a b_tch for some), whilst you can be the decision making intellectuals scraping at the bottom of the barrel hoping to get a sideways glance in order to feel 'loved'. pr

Since this is the "final note" I take it you can't counter anything but will keep bleating "we are one of many" endlessly. Cool.

      Noon, lmao.

            Dear savage_carrot

I love my life and have absolutely no complaints. It's you who seems to have resentment about what destiny has handed you. Don't complain to me, complain to God.

Like I said before, don't hate.

And abdalquran, what part of 'put up or shut up' don't you understand?

On a final note, until you guys become the majority with authority, keep dreaming.

            Peace

seems we are and we have and you're the dreamer. Why cant you answer the simple question that has been asked, with your majority 1300 years of knowledge? Better to stamp feel and run off bleating 'my gang is bigger than your gang' childish rubbish.

Oh, so you're admitting to be a sheep? Wow, it must take cojones to admit that you're a submissive human being who can't stand on his own feet and can't use his own brain and absolutely HAS to have a leader to follow. You're a simple follower no matter who the leader is or what is commanding you to do.

I've seen your other VERY condescending posts and ANYBDOY condescending loses my respect, brother in Islam or not.

Let me ask you something, so called Christians and Jews has had MUCH MORE "experience" in time, does that mean that their teachings are correct in your view?

Is Jesus Gods son just because trinitarian priests have said so ever since the council of Nicea in 313 AD?

If you're a Muslim you know what you're supposed to answer that.

Is your heart completely sealed by Allah or are you getting even the tiniest fragment of my POINT?

And fyi, what is REALLY a new sect are Salafis and the Saudi Salafi/Wahhabi version of Islam. If you know your history then you would know about Mohammed Ibn Abdel Wahhab, the crazed nutcase who pronounced takfeer(pronounced them to be kafirs)
on Muslims living in Mecca, invaded the Holy city, and KILLED fellow Muslims. And this happened less than 300 years ago in the 1700s.

He helped the current corrupt Saudi family to establish a royal state named after the family Saud, and bilad-al Hijaz became "Saudi Arabia". And today they are best friends with the very same people who bombs Muslim children everyday all over Asia and the Middle East. And at the same time Sunnis killing Shias is at all-time high because of sectarianism.

To put it short, YOU belong to the "newly invented sects", not us.

May Allah guide us all on the right path.

which sect has the right way of praying?

why even inside sunni sect there are different ways of praying from regions to regions?

And this is where all muslims can have a definite consensus. Let's start from this.

If you cannot depend on the one who created you to guide you, there isn't anyone else to depend on.

Wow, this zulu guy must be crackers. He's now bragging about being 'men of knowledge'. Ayisha, keep asking him about abrogated verses. He'll never be able to answer this. 1300 years of scholarship and they can't decide on the most fundamental principle which btw, they themselves made up.

Zulu, get real. The fact is, sunni scholarhip cant even decide who a sahaba IS. Did you know that, pal? There are multiple definitions of 'sahaba' (some definitions would exclude abu hurayra himself). Is this the kind of impeccable scholarship your trying to sell to us?

So anyhow, I'm waiting for your defense. Or you could go shopping and forget this ever took place.

dear abdalquran, I have decided, in my wisdom as new self appointed messenger coz im over 40 and know the number that exists in all creation (there are verses about me in another '19' thread if you're skeptical about this, they think its Khalifa but its so obvious its ME) that when the 'secret' verses were revealed and given by the great companion 'Itellyouwhatyouwannahear abu hurairah' that unfolded the hidden mysteries of Quran, it caused a few slight problems in that these 'secret' verses did not actually explain every hidden mystery of Quran and wudu could be once twice or thrice as long as its not with dung.

This only works for some 'men of understanding' if you take out the verses of Quran that the goat ate for some, and for others it only works if you take out a few-many other verses that dont quite 'fit' with the 'secret' verses - which we know are protected probably even MORE than Quran is as they were from the prophet himself and have been followed over 1300 years!- and these are the abrogated verses as great thought was put into finding what they thought was a contradiction (or 250) in Quran then hey presto there it was! The verse that said ABROGATED. It all fits (with adjustments and a few acrobatics) and the Quran almost matched hadith, apart from a few minor details here and there.

Now, the problem with how many abrogated verses is whichever 'man of understanding' first didnt understand Quran he decided there were many many abrogated verses, coz Quran SAID so, so each verse the 'man of understanding' didnt understand in relation to another verse, he decided THAT must be abrogated - like Quran said so. Then as time went on other 'men of understanding' found they DID understand some of those abrogated verses in relation to the other verses, so the number of abrogated verses changed again, for SOME. Unfortunately other 'men of understanding' still dont understand those verses and thats why we get differences in number.

Now I am sure if we are patient zulu will be able to tell us, as he has said himself (in the plural) that he is one of the 'men of understanding' so it all depends on how many zulu comes up with now.

*disclaimer as there are some 'strange' people on this site I will say that I do NOT consider myself a messenger or prophet and you must NOT add my name to any call to prayer, prayer or shahadah as you go about your daily shopping trips. Thank you. peace

All you have to show them is this verse

(Say (O Muhammad SAW)) "Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (The Quran), explained in detail." Those unto whom We gave the Scripture (the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth. So be not you of those who doubt.

But you know what the best part is about the above translation? It's by a salafi translator

Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan (Arabic, Pashto, Urd born 1345 Al-Hijri (1927) is a contemporary Salafi of ethnic Afghan origin, most notable for his renowned English translations of Sahih Bukhari and the Qur'an, entitled The Noble Qur'an, which he completed along with Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali.

You know this one guy said to me when I told him that the Qu'ran is fully detailed, and I am quoting him word for word

                            "Can I ask you something?

Does the Qu'ran talk about biology?...Fully detailed?
Does the Qu'ran talk about dinosaurs?...Fully detailed?"

I mean I didn't know the purpose of the Qu'ran was to serve as a paleontology or biology textbook

and then he pleaded with me to use rational thought before I reject hadith lol

The weakness of Quran alone followers is here, my brother

-There are those who support 2 types of Salat in the Quran (the physical act)
-There are those who support 3 types of Salat in the Quran (the physical act)
-There are those who support 4 types of Salat in the Quran (the physical act)
-There are those who support 5 types of Salat in the Quran (the physical act)
-There are those who even don't know how many rakaats (units) there are in a Salat (the physical act)
-There are those who pretend that one can do as many rakaat (units) as wanted there is no limit (only time limit)
-There are those who pretend that Hajj is only an event of gathering
-There are those who pretend that Hajj is a pagan form of ritual
-There are those who pretend that Sol-laa (Salat), Siyam, Hajj, Zakat are not what they shoud be because of some linguistics distorsions (For example, read Aidid Safar's Thesis)
-There are those who believe in a huge conspiracy from Persians or from Pagan Arabs to distord original Islam (Shabbir Ahmad, Aidid Safar and their likes)

The above list is not exhaustive, we can add other odd sorts of Quran alone followers.

Quran alone followers are more weak than Sunnis or Shiites particularly when talking about the four main practices namely salat, hajj, siyam, zakat.

What is so hard to understand about "give the excess?"

That means give what you can afford. Plain and simple.

Why should a poor man have to give more than what he can, and why should it be ok for a rich man to give only 10 or 2.5% or whatever people tell you is the halaal amount when he can afford to donate much more?

Those who criticize the generous believers for giving too much, and ridicule the poor believers for giving too little, GOD despises them. They have incurred a painful retribution.

Anyone who claims that "Islam" has been the same for 1400 years and that there has been a consensus on most issues is either displaying a frightening ignorance of the subject, or intentionally lying. No use wasting your time with such a person.

The problem with such translators was that they perceived Urdu words and translated it in English as "Explained in detail" and juxtaposed it on similar looking Arabic word which has different perception and meanings. It is from Root " " which deotes act of segregating/isolating one thing from the other; seperating two things from each other; and a Judge does only one thing that he alienates the truth from the falsehood, adjudges and determines one as right and the other as wrong. The context is for finding a Judge. And the Book has been made/declared as one in which fact and conjecture, right and wrong, guided and misguided have been vividly demarcated, isolated from each other--therefore it has been made the Criterion, the Judge.

So anyhow, I'm waiting for your defense. Or you could go shopping and forget this ever took place.
We'll be waiting forever aq, the defense ain't comin'...it's probably indulging in a take away as we speak. These guys are shameless though, even after exposing themselves... their shallow depths, lack of reasoning and knowledge, they're still strutting about like nothing ever happened.

Sounds reasonable. We however know these people will accuse non salafis of adding their own evil interpretation so I thought it would be nice to give them a God fearing (yeah right) salafi interpretation lol

                                          peace AK85, all,

You may find this article helpful
                                          http//mypercept.co.uk/articles/Quran_clear_complete_detailed_explained.htm

Secondly, when people make the argument The Quran does not contain XYZ, therefore its claim of being complete, every example, fully clarified etc is not to be understood how you understand it, i.e. all we need, I like to make the following analogy

When you buy a self-assembly piece of furniture (e.g. from Ikea) and it comes with full/complete/detailed instructions, what does the word "full/complete/detailed" refer to?

In other words, it is full/complete/detailed with respect to its purpose/goal.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.
