adhan or azaan how to do it properly?
-
How do you know that they were the Messengers of Allah? On whose authority you believe them to be Messengers? On the authority of history books, sayings of christian and jew friends? Or because Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam confirmed and verified that they were the Messengers of Allah in time and space?
On the authority of Allah and quran. Allah confirmed them, not Muhammed, Allah authored Quran, Muhammed delivered it as is.

Why forget sequence of events? Who knew about Qur'aan at a certain point in time? Where was Qur'aan except the word of the Messenger when he proclaimed that he is the Messenger of Allah and has been communicated Aayat of Qur'aan. People believed first in what? Qur'aan or the claim of being Messenger of Allah?

i personally feel no discomfort or 'uneasiness' when discussing prophet muhammad (or any other prophets for that matter), i only have an issue when one of the prophets is elevated above others, while god in quran clearly tells us not to.
Since you don't know what original azaan is, therefore you considering that Muhammad's name is addition is just What Mazhar says Munafiqin's attitude towards Muhammad peace is upon him.
For elevation of Prophet Muhammad over others proved from Quran, You should visit the the thread "Praise be to Muhmmad Rasul Allah" by me, on this forum.Jaffar
There's no 'proper way' to do adhan / azaan / call to prayer...
It's a 'cultural' thing and people on different parts of the world do it differently.
It could be 'ringing a bell', 'blowing the sofar' or it could be as simple as
"Now let us pray"..Just am uslim
If you ring a bell or blow a horn or sound an alarm or clap your hands, wave a flag that signifies time to prayer, that will do for me. Would God not accept that?
I haven't come across in the Koran how to say azhan and neither in the hadith. I am sure rajaah here would refer me to the ayats in the Koran or the volume in Bukhari where Muhammad instructs a man how to call to prayer.
Wrong, in Islamic countries their is acommon way, to call for Prayers, with slight differences of the words...
Al-Quran
O you who believe, when the Salat Al-Jumu`ah is announced on Friday, you shall hasten to the commemoration of GOD, and drop all business. This is better for you, if you only knew. The word used means to call for prayers. Well what are the words (exactly) used for calling are not known, and in absence of a proof it is absurd to claim that the name of Muhammad was added in it.

Jews donot believe in Issa peace be upon him, they hate him, evidences are provided in different threads.
It was only Through Muhammad Peace is upon him that we came to know what we know.

Allah HAS Quran, Allah tells Quran to Muhammed to tell the people.Who knew about Qur'aan at a certain point in time?
Allah did, then Muhammed did (the messenger) then the people didWhere was Qur'aan except the word of the Messenger when he proclaimed that he is the Messenger of Allah and has been communicated Aayat of Qur'aan.
The messenger recited surah 96 first, he did not say he was the messenger of Allah as even he didnt know what was happening. In 7158 he is told to say that BY Allah. So at that time the Quran was part with us.
People believed first in what? Qur'aan or the claim of being Messenger of Allah?
Quran. Without believing those words were from God then one can't believe he was a messenger, him being a messenger is secondary to Quran being from God. People did not believe he was a messenger unless they first believed the words from God, even then many doubted. When the message was sent to the Christian king (?) sorry can't remember it exactly, the king? only had the words and believed through that, it was irrelevant who showed him those words as it wasn't muhammed that took that message to him but someone else, after hearing the words he believed that this man Muhammed was a messenger of God, AFTER hearing the words of Quran

Evvery Messenger first introduces to people as being the Messenger of Allah. Later he produces the evidence. First is the person to be believed, if one has doubt, he may ask for evidence.
Musa and Haroon alaimissalm visit Firaun and his elite and introduce themselves as Messengers of Allah without producing any book or unprecedented sign. And when he did not accept them as Messenger of Sustainer Lord of the worlds and threatened to be jailed, response was that will you not believe even I produce the signs.
And please go through the entire Qur'aan, all Messengers first introduced themselves as Messengers of Allah and asked them to believe solely in Allah "and follow me".
From where you got red marked observation? He was the first to believe and accept what was revealed to him.

So if Muhammed himself was calling the prayer you think he would have dared to add his name to a call to worship God? Have you seen the video about Jesus and Muhammed as room mates? but there is nothing in Quran until chapter 7 where Muhammed states he is the messenger, you are working on assumptions. The first words were 'read/recite', not 'I am the messenger of Allah'From where you got red marked observation? He was the first to believe and accept what was revealed to him.
Didnt he have to be told by his wifes cousin? he thought he was crazy THEN he believed. he didnt tell anyone else for a while. He of course was the first to believe in the message as he was the one getting it but he couldnt believe without the words given him could he? he didnt wake up one day believing he was the messenger of Allah and THEN get the message, the words came first, belief in the Message came before belief in the messenger, no message no messenger.

Peace Mazhar,
I want to attract your attention to the fact that Mosa was raised by the wife of Pharao, so Pharao used to know Mosa before this one announces that his is a messenger, he was not a foreigner.
Messengers don?t just fall down from the sky, they are raised in communities and are sent to their own people, to educate them and to make them aware of the consequences of their actions, either good or bad.
Generally, people see messengers as some super-humans although nothing from the quran suggests this. To the contrary, the quran says that they were only humans like us. They were surely wise and altruistic humans, they chose to spread the knowledge they have received among the people to help them, not to keep it and abuse their ignorance.

Yes! that is what I also noticed and have pointed out to various, forum members, it all starts by uneasiness mantion of Prophet Muhammad peace is upon him. Well said.

Muhammed aka Ahmed as all messengers were pointing to the message so we don't miss The God. It looks like you and Mazahar are concentrating on the finger too much and missing all that heavenly glory (The God).

Mazhar you are missing the point. Quran tells you these previous prophets declared they were messengers but not without giving the message, they also said much more than Quran tells you, its a reminder so its not going over everything again, just reminding. These prophets were delivering a message from God but its the message that one has to believe. If one believes the message then is stands to reason they believe the messenger bringing it. if the postman comes to your house and says he is the postman you want him to give you post, hes not a postman to you until he does and its the post thats relevant not the postman. The belief is for the message first, without that belief then you cannot believe in the messenger.
Dont make the same mistake you are warned about in Quran in how the Christians raised one prophet higher to the point of being God. It says clearly Muhammed is no more than a messenger and he said the same as all prophets did, worship GOD alone.

This question wouldnt even arise if we asked 'does the quran even talk of congregational prayer'. or even 'prayer'.

This is the virus that creates the disease leading one to become a Munafiq. Munafiq feel uncomfort whenever any thing authentic about the Messenger he listens.
Dear Mazhar,
Your logic is exactly the opposite of what The Qur'aan says. According to The Qur'aan a munafig is the one who verbally testifies that Muhammad is the messenger of GOD/ALLAAH(SWT). Just see 631 for clarification.

Many forget what the real Message is all about. many think Quran has rules/rituals to follow.
All rules/rituals are created by man with his free will, God in Quran authorizes some rituals what Mohammed and people at his time followed, if they benefits the society and forbids some for some specific reasons, so rituals are meant to be changed for the benefit of society. Quran didnt invent anything as God doesnt have any NEED except HE expects a peacefull society. -
Mazhar you are missing the point. Quran tells you these previous prophets declared they were messengers but not without giving the message, they also said much more than Quran tells you, its a reminder so its not going over everything again, just reminding.
I don't indulge in presumptive speculations. What is told is in simple words. Musa alalhissalam told him that he is the Messenger of Allah and gave him the message that let the Bani Israel go with me. And then all history is told. And for the blindness of those who equate the Messenger to a postman, Musa alahissalam got the Book after many events had passed after exodus. People believed in him as Messenger of Allah.
Belief in Allah alone will never take anybody into Paradise. Belief and acceptance of Allah and His Messengers is the precondition for paradise. The litmus test of Taqwa is who honours, respects and revers the Last Messenger. Rest is all self deception, which may get everything spoiled leading straight to hell, as says the Qur'aan.
